Divine Justice Satisfied 8

God's judgment demands a punishment for all human sin. So Jesus stepped in as the sinless Substitute for the guilty.  He took the brunt of divine justice and died that sinners might live forever. On Calvary's Cross, Jesus offered the vindication to divine justice by pouring out His own life's blood from His wounds and dying on our behalf.  God launched out all His vengeance on sin that day at Calvary. The innocent Judge (Christ Jesus) has taken the culprit's place and bore the vengeance due to the offender. Accept Christ's Substitution today. There on the Cross, vengeance found recompense for injuries done to God's divine righteousness. Divine Justice owes you nothing but eternal death.  Strict justice and real punishment must be dealt upon your sins; that's why the Son of God had to suffer and die.  Divine Mercy alone must save you the guilt of sin.

The divine Law has been broken by you all throughout your life, and now unflinching divine justice requires a penalty.  The Gospel of Christ unites justice and mercy, severity and peace, vengeance and acceptance.  Divine justice was executed fully upon the great Substitute.  The just and righteous vengeance of God against human sin was poured out on Jesus that dark day on Calvary.  Divine Justice cannot punish us any longer, for Jesus has bore our sins' penalty; divine justice cannot demand more at our hand, for our great Substitute has rendered to it full obedience and satisfaction.  Praise God, for He gave His only begotten Son to die and satisfy divine justice on my behalf.  Jesus died that I might live, and that the divine justice of God might be satisfied on my account. Jesus bore the deadly penalty due to divine justice. Do not appeal to justice and merit, but pity, mercy, and love.

Christ died for the ungodly.  Come now and Rest in the Lord Jesus Christ's Atoning Sacrifice. The bloody death of the Sin-Bearer - the sacrificial, substitutionary, atoning death of the Lamb of God puts away sins once and for all. Jesus suffered in my place that which was due to God's divine justice.  Jesus' Substitution clears the ungodly from all debt to divine justice.

Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died.  Free rich mercy, mercy to the underserving, grace to the unworthy, everlasting love to the evil, blessings for the guilty. The matter of divine justice is settled by our Great Substitute, and to us mercy comes freely. If you were to die right now, you couldn't say a word against divine justice.  Jesus has already suffered all that divine justice requires; your works are no good and unacceptable at Calvary. Self-righteous human nature wants to toil in some way or other to earn everlasting life.

The Bible way of Salvation is by an atoning Sacrifice, and now God for Christ's sake hath forgiven us, because perfect Satisfaction (Atonement) has been made to the injured divine Law, and divine justice is totally appeased by Precious Blood.  God may now blot out your sin since Christ has died.  Jesus bore my sins, took my guilt, suffered in my place, bled to death for me, made full compensation to God's injured law, vindicated divine justice, and now there is no anger of God towards me. I am now reconciled to God and accepted in the beloved.  Jesus faced Death and withstood the penalty of the Law, and at the very same time, He honored the Law by rendering perfect obedience to it.  Jesus presented unto God a perfect Righteousness on our behalf. Jesus is Perfection itself; only Jesus could satisfy the holy demands of God and His Holy Law.

Christ Jesus is the Sacrifice and Substitute for guilty man. Only God's mercy and long-suffering hold back the sword of vengeance and justice. Jesus took what my sins deserved. At the Cross, justice was vindicated, mercy was magnified, and we are justly forgiven for Jesus' sake. God can put sin away without any violation of justice when the guilty soul believes in Jesus. Truth is intolerant of falsehood, love wars with hate, justice battles with wrong. Jesus suffered in my place, and answered the demands of strict, infallible, stern Justice, awful vengeance, and pure Holiness. The God who made the Law, came under the Law, that He might make amends to the injured honor of His own justice.

It's a lot more fun to begin an addiction than to try to end one. Sin never ends well. You are in grave danger without Christ. You have come under the curse, divine justice has pronounced you guilty, and by nature you abide under condemnation. Own that you are guilty and submit to divine justice, admit your guilt, and plead for mercy in Jesus' name. If you are to be saved, you must be saved by the Righteousness of Christ, and your sins must be put away by Precious Blood, because Christ bore your guilt in your place, and suffered the full penalty due to your sins. See God's justice, He made Jesus suffer; see God's mercy, for in Christ God delights in mercy and passes by your sins. Worthy is the Lamb!
