Divine Justice Satisfied 4

You have grievously sinned, and your sins must be punished. All the curse of sin was laid on Jesus. Jesus took all our sins upon Himself, and suffered in our place. Jesus' blood and wounds are my only Confidence. He bled to death on my account. My sin was punished on Him, so now I am free. I owe the justice of God nothing because of Jesus. Rest only upon the Atonement of Jesus Christ. God is awfully just. Sin deserves and demands the just anger of God. Only the Holy Spirit can bring you into your right senses. Sin justly deserves punishment in Hell. Jesus was God manifest in the flesh. He that made the heavens became a Jewish peasant. The Son of God bled for human sin. See the wounds of Jesus, take them to be your trust. Jesus risen from the tomb. He ascends into heaven and sits down at the right hand of God. *Hebrews 7:25*

But how can I get faith? Faith comes from Christ. *Hebrews 12:2* Faith is His gift to needy sinners. Just think this over - The Word was made flesh, God incarnate suffered in the place of sinful men, so that the divine justice of God might be fully satisfied, and mercy and grace may be bestowed on the sinner. Look to His wounds, His blood, His suffering and agony. Faith is the gift of God, and the work of the Holy Spirit. Faith comes through hearing the words of God. You provoke God's justice every day with your sinning. The only reason why your sins can be forgiven is because for sinners Jesus Christ bore the full weight of divine wrath which sin deserves. Jesus suffered as God Incarnate all the chastisement which was due to me. Pardon is freely given to penitent sinners because of the agonies of the divine Redeemer. Divine vengeance and recompense will soon catch up with your sins. God's hatred for sin is seen clearly at the Cross.

God's spared not His own Son because of His deep hatred for sin. If you go to God out of Christ, you will find Him to be a consuming fire, instead of mercy you shall receive justice. The worldling says, there is no justice in God, He will punish sin. But you will stand before the fiery throne of absolute justice. Jesus passed through and suffered the penalty of justice for me. Stern, strict, inflexible, absolute Justice. You will be brought to justice. Justice to the very extreme, to the strictest letter. Divine justice absolutely requires that your sin be punished. Pure holiness requires Perfection. Full and satisfactory Atonement is needed for my sins. Christ suffered the Law's fullest and severest penalty.

The billows and waves of JEHOVAH'S justice dashed over Jesus again and again. Jesus says to you, "I have suffered for your sins, God can now forgive your sins, and yet be a just God, for He punished Me instead of you, and therefore God can never punish you, He cannot in justice punish both the Substitute and the offender for same sins." The act of trusting Jesus Christ is the act which brings a guilty soul into a state of grace. God is so just that He cannot forgive sin without violating His holy nature, He must punish transgression, but to make mercy consistent with God's severest justice, the Lawgiver Himself came to earth as a man and offered Himself up as a sinless Sacrifice for human sin - scourge, nails, thorns, tears, sweat, blood. Now trust God in Christ and rely upon Him to put away your sins. Divine justice requires punishment for sin.

God was made flesh and dwelt among us, and bore punishment instead of sinners. The innocent Substitute bled for me. Only for the sake of Jesus' doing and dying, His substitutionary sufferings and His vicarious obedience, the God of infinite justice accepts us with the sweet savor of Christ. Jesus had nothing to gain, but everything to lose. JEHOVAH Himself suffered for me in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. God the Judge must condemn you to everlasting punishment had not Jesus suffered in your place. The Precious Blood is really a satisfaction to divine justice. Apart from the blood, we are guilty and condemned. Are you washed in the Blood, and accepted in the Beloved?

You have an overwhelming debt to the justice of God. No condemnation now I dread, for justice smote my Substitute on the Cross. Jesus paid the dreadful debt due to divine justice for me. Delight in the satisfaction which Jesus has rendered to divine justice. You may avoid and escape the Savior here, but you will rush into the presence of an angry Judge when you die. You may avoid your Best Friend, but you will only make Him your eternal enemy. You will waste your life in neglecting Him, but the next life will end, and your neglect shall damn you. Jesus made an Atonement to divine vengeance for all my sins.
