*For Us*

Christ died for us (Romans 5:8);
The Spirit itself maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:26);
Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us (I Corinthians 5:7);
Who also maketh intercession for us (Romans 8:34); God spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all (Romans 8:32);
God hath made Jesus to be Sin for us (II Corinthians 5:21);
Who gave Himself for us (Titus 2:14);
Christ being made a Curse for us (Galatians 3:13);
Christ also hath loved us, and hath given Himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God (Ephesians 5:2);
Whither the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus (Hebrews 6:20);
Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the Sin of the world;
By His own Blood He entered in once into the holy place, having obtained Eternal Redemption for us (Hebrews 9:12);
Christ hath suffered for us (I Peter 2:21);
Hereby perceive we the love of God, because He laid down His life for us (I John 3:16); but God raised Him from the dead. Immanuel (God with us) endured and satisfied the wrath of God for us, and now we can be Eternally and Freely Justified by Faith in His innocent, Precious Blood.

Be wise now: Trust Christ Jesus' Precious Blood and Perfect Righteousness, not your water and works.

Very Simply Put

Here is the Gospel Message very simply put:  The whole world is lost in sin, and God must punish all sin, so He sent His dear Son, Christ Jesus, into the world to suffer, bleed, and die to pay the penalty due to human sin.  Jesus never sinned Himself, but He bore my sins, and suffered the wrath and vengeance of God that divine justice called for on my behalf.  Yeshua came voluntarily to take my sins upon Himself, so that He might honor the divine Law of God, and pay the penalty due to divine Justice for me. God's only Remedy for my guilt is His Son's own Atoning Blood.  Jesus was perfectly obedient to the Law, and yielded Himself up to the death penalty for my sake. The gentle Almighty Lamb of God, the Friend of sinners, invites you come to Him now and Rest in His finished work.

This is the Gospel Message:  The Creator became a Jewish man in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. He was obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross. There is no putting away human sin without a sinless blood Sacrifice. There is only one real Sacrifice that can put away human sins, and that is Jesus Christ the Righteous.  The Lamb of God is the one Sacrifice for all sins forever. He is divine, yet human; the Son of God, yet the Son of Mary. Jesus was God and man in one sinless Person. Jesus is the great God, the true God, the living God, the mighty God, God over all blessed forever. He yielded up His sinless life, the Just for the unjust, the Sinless for the sinful, that He might bring us to God, and reconcile us back to our Creator.  Now whosoever believeth in Christ Jesus shall live forever and ever.

And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son. He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God. And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know Him that is true, and we are in Him that is true, even in His Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

The human mind is easily distracted and tends to forget the Gospel message so soon. You are the very sinner Jesus came to planet Earth to save. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners:  He did this especially for you.  Trust your sinful soul to Christ, for He is God's great atoning Sacrifice for sinners, and you shall be saved from the love and practice of sinning. The sinner that believes on the Son of God hath everlasting life. *John 3:16*

The Lord Jesus Christ is the only Person who is JEHOVAH as well as man. The Blessed Savior descended from Heaven to Earth; the Lord of hosts became a human being; He lived in the midst of sinful men. He was despitefully entreated, scorned, hated, and nailed to a Cross. Jesus bled away His life on the Cross, that He might redeem us sinners. Jesus left His heavenly home and became a poor man, so He could die for His enemies.  The dear Lamb of God left His glory and throne above to bear my sins and their punishment on dark Calvary.

 Up Calvary's mountain, one dreadful morn, walked Christ Jesus, God Incarnate, weary and worn; facing for me death on the Cross, that He might save me from endless loss. No one but Jesus ever loved me so. Jesus was wounded for my transgressions; He bore my sins in His own body on the tree. For my guilt, He gave me mercy and grace. For my rebellion, He gave me compassion and kindness. My sins were so great, that God Himself put on human flesh, He loved me so, I trust to His blood, and now I am safe forever. *I John 3:2*

The Lord Jesus Christ Himself died in my place, freely gave His life blood for me, bearing on Calvary my sin and disgrace. He was numbered among the transgressors, He was despised and rejected by me; a Man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. He was despised, and I esteemed Him not. I esteemed Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. He died so I could be freely forgiven; He became Sin so He could make me righteous and acceptable before God. I am forever saved by His Precious Blood. As my atoning Sacrifice He died, that the divine justice of God might be satisfied, and all my sins were laid on Him. Now, all my transgressions against God's holy law are gone forever, only because Jesus was wounded for me.

Now mark it down, and get it down pat - Someone must pay for your sins - it must either be you or Christ Jesus, it's up to you.  It was God Himself who died for you on Calvary's Cross. *I John 3:16* God laid down His life for you. Jesus was none other that the One who made the heavens, but He came down to Earth, to pay your way to Heaven with His own blood. God descended from the highest throne of glory, put on human flesh, and loved you to death. In Jesus' blood alone, there is power and merit enough to make Atonement to Almighty God, so guilty sinners can be accepted in the Beloved.

Emmanuel, God with us, laid aside His eternal glory to become a Jewish peasant. He lived a life of pure Holiness, and then died a death of brutal scorn, shame and agony. His torn body was taken down from the Cross, and was laid in a borrowed tomb, and the third day, He rose again from the dead, then 40 days later, He ascended into Heaven, and now He sits at the right hand of God.

Liars, gossipers, thieves, slanderers, drunkards, sodomites, backbiters, gluttons, swearers, adulterers, whisperers, haters of God, harlots, murderers, and whoremongers are all welcome at the Cross. The filthier you are, the welcomer you are. The Precious Blood that flowed from Immanuel's veins is not for dignified, self-improved, religious, self-righteous folks. The Atoning Blood is only for guilty wretches that are tired and fed up with their sins.

Men always forget that infinite Mercy is only found at the Cross, and think that it is to be found somewhere else, and try to slip away from the humbling scriptural fact of their lost and helpless estate. They imagine a vain thing, that there is some other back door of escape; they think they are not as bad as the Scriptures declare. The sinner must be debased, and Christ must be exalted - this is the humbling plan of Gospel Grace. The Gospel doctrines are completely contrary to the self-righteous carnal mind. The Gospel is humbling to human pride, and insulting to self-esteem.

Your soul is deeply ingrained with your iniquities. Idolatry and rebellion against God are ingrained in your sinful nature. The plain, unflattering, humbling Gospel of Christ declares that you cannot help save yourself, and that Jesus must do all the saving, or you will perish in your sins. The sinner's Savior is not to your taste. The Gospel for lost sinners is not for respectable folks like you. You may think you can help save yourself from sin, just try it, and you will perish in the doing of it. The Gospel is never palatable to self-glorying human nature. The Gospel will never flatter the dignity of man, or the excellency of self-help. The Gospel is only for vulgar sinners.

Vain human nature cannot endure the true, pure Gospel message. The noise and static of worldly gain, competition, cares, and pleasures - these all drown out the still, small voice of the Holy Ghost, the eternal voice of Truth. The Almighty God became a sinless human being and laid down His life as a Substitute for the ungodly, and He did it all out of pure Love for His enemies. *Romans 5:9* Jesus is the Friend of sinners. As long as you neglect Christ, you are ruining yourself, you are living on the borders of the grave and Hell. If you don't watch it, before long, your soul will be lost to all Eternity. You must escape the wrath to come by simple faith in Jesus' blood, or be driven forever from God's presence, and from all hope of joy and peace.

All your vain glory and self-excellence must be withered up by the unseen and unrecognized work of the Holy Ghost.  Only the Spirit of God can surely show a man his lost and condemned state, and then point that sinner to the Lamb of God for mercy and forgiveness. He uses the divine Law to reveal the evil which lurks in all of your thoughts, words, actions, desires, tendencies, and imaginations.  You see, Salvation is all a work of God, for God planned out our Salvation. Christ Jesus came and accomplished our Salvation with His own Blood, and now the Holy Ghost convinces and enlightens us to our need of Salvation, and gives us the Faith to truly believe on Jesus, and then He gives us His great Salvation. Now understand - God must get all the glory when it comes to Salvation, and you must get none - this is the Good Old Way. Believe the Gospel, and you shall find Rest for your soul. *Matthew 11:28*

The Gospel will never flatter human goodness, but deals directly with your sins and misery. It is a very humbling day when a man truly understands that for every idle word he has spoken, he will be brought to account before God, and that all of his evil desires and unclean imaginations will all come under divine scrutiny of his Maker. Don't let this world's empty glory deceive you and cost you your soul. Only Christ Jesus' Blood and Righteousness can save you from the Hell you deserve. This is the Old, Old Story of Jesus and His Love.

Spiritual Hygiene

Physical hygiene is important for a good, healthy life. Spiritual hygiene is much more important and leads to spiritual health and a joyful life. Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, perfecting holiness in the fear of God. That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word.  Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity. The wisdom that is from above is first pure. Draw nigh to God, and He will draw nigh to you. Cleanse your hands, ye sinners; and purify your hearts, ye double minded.  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the Blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.  If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.  Let thy garments be always white; and let thy head lack no ointment.  And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.  Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works. Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to His mercy He saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;  And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.  Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently.  And every man that hath this Hope in him purifieth himself, even as He is pure.  And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the Prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in His own Blood. By pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned. Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned.  Lay hands suddenly on no man, neither be partaker of other men's sins: keep thyself pure.  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart.

The News You Really Need

JEHOVAH the great Creator was manifest in the flesh in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, and suffered and bled and died to atone for human sin. *I Timothy 3:16* The Almighty God that created and sustains everything left His highest throne in glory and stooped to the manger of Bethlehem. The Creator became a creature, the Infinite became an infant, the Maker became a poor man. The Highest stooped to be the lowest, the Greatest took His place among the least.

Jesus grew from boyhood up to manhood, He came forth into the world to preach and suffer for your sins! Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, especially you. The Eternal God condescended to Earth, He was here in the form of man; God in human flesh walked the face of this Earth and lived in obscurity, poverty, and purity.  He made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and He was meek and lowly in heart. Consider Him who endured such contradiction of sinners against Himself; He endured the Cross of Calvary, despising the shame of it all, for your sake.

Christ Jesus lived a sinless life of perfect virtue and of total self-denying love. He came into the world to seek and save lost sinners from the wrath of God and the love of sin. He was all His life afflicted, despised, and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. His enemies were many; His friends were few, and those few friends were faithless and fickle. The Lord Jesus was famous, but wasn't popular at all. Jesus was at last betrayed and delivered over into the hands of wicked men that hated Him without a cause.

Christ Jesus was arrested while in the act of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane; see Him in the garden praying, He sweat great drops of blood especially for you! The great multitude and Judas came and seized Him in the garden as though He had been a thief, and they took Him away to the high priest and then to Pilate’s hall. He was arraigned before both the religious and civil courts. He endured mockery, shame, and the cruel crowning of thorns in Pilate’s judgment hall for your sins.

The Lord of glory was set upon a mock throne in scorn by the Roman soldiers, given a reed for a scepter, robed in purple in mockery and shame, and then stripped naked and tied to a whipping post and scourged in cruelty. His shoulders and back ran with blood! The stripes due to your sins were laid upon Christ's back. The cruel soldiers spit upon Him and plucked out His beard and hair. Jesus suffered the punishment that your sins deserve. He was declared innocent by Pontius Pilate, yet Pilate still delivered Jesus to the mob’s will and had Him led away to be crucified. See in Christ your sins being punished.

Then at the very end, Christ was hounded through Jerusalem’s streets; the path to Calvary’s Cross was sprinkled with the Blood of God. *Acts 20:28* He was brought to Golgotha’s hill; they flung Him down upon His back upon the Cross, and drove the cruel nails through His blessed hands and feet; then they lifted up the Cross and dashed it into its socket in the earth and all His bones were dislocated. He hangs there in agony as the blazing sun burns Him. His cruel wounds increase His fever.

The Christ of God became Sin, and God the Father forsakes Him. He cries out, “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” While He hangs there in conflict with sin and Satan, His heart is broken, and His limbs are dislocated. Heaven forsakes Him; the sun is veiled in darkness. Mankind forsakes Him, for “His disciples forsook Him and fled.” He looks everywhere, and there is none to help; He casts His eye around, and there is no man that would share His sorrow. Your sins made Jesus bleed. Where Christ is loved, sin is hated.

On and on, Christ hangs there on the Cross for six hours, steadily determined to drink the last dreg of the cup of the wrath of Almighty God for you. He hung there in agony and blood. His face is full of anguish. Consider the tortured Sinless Savior. Your sins were all gathered together in one mighty load and placed upon the shoulders of the great Sin-Bearer. The sin load of the whole world was laid on Christ *I John 2:2*; it bruised Him sore and crushed Him down. On the bloody tree behold Him in His death struggles! The Friend of Sinners is suffering there for you.

Behold the Lamb of God, the Crucified Redeemer, there is no better view than Him! See Him dying in agony too great to be imagined, much less to be described! God was in Christ as He died upon the accursed tree. *II Corinthians 5:19* He endured the vinegar, the nails, and the spear all alone. *Hebrews 7:27* His heart was bursting with agony under the load of sin. Hear the cries of Jesus from the Cross: “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do! -- My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me! -- I thirst!” At last He cries — “It is finished!” and He gave up the ghost. Jesus didn't say "I am finished." He cried "It is finished!" The punishment due to my sins fell on Christ, He finished the Atonement for to my sins. *Romans 5:10*

Behold His torn and broken body being taken down from the Cross and then laid in the silent tomb! But three days later He burst the bonds of darkness and tore the bars of death away, rising from the dead, and then forty days later He ascended up on high and sat down at the right hand of God. Dear friend, the Savior is set before you now, plainly manifested: See His five bleeding wounds, His pierced side, the bloody stripes, the accursed Cross, and His passionate love for rebellious sinners. *Hebrews 9:14*

Be honest: You’ve been a selfish sinner your whole life against God's laws as well as His love; you’ve been a rebel against the five wounds of Jesus and the Ten Commandments of God. Look to Jesus’ five wounds flowing with God’s blood. *Colossians 1:14-16* Only look there sinner! In Christ’s five bleeding wounds is the sin-melting power which is not to be found anywhere else in this world. Only His wounds can quiet your conscience and melt your sin-hardened heart. Christ's divine blood is the only antidote for the venom of sin flowing through your soul.

Let me be very clear, The sparing mercies of God have brought you safely to this day. The great need of your soul today is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus' bleeding pleading Love wants to reason with you even now. I earnestly intreat you, let all of your sinful pleasures and vile habits go, lay down your weapons, and give your soul up to Jesus Christ at once. By neglecting or rejecting Christ, your soul is on incredibly dangerous ground; you're walking on thin ice that could break at any time. Why do you linger so long in the darkness of sin? There is available to you now a free pardon for all your transgressions, iniquities and sins through faith in the most precious blood of God manifest in the flesh. Forsake your enmity to God and the love of your sins; Do not rebel against God's mercy and kindness towards you.

Your soul bears a very heavy burden of sin and guilt today. It would be a horrible tragedy if you die in your sins unforgiven, eternally undone, and unprepared to meet God. Trust Christ Jesus with your soul, no time for delay, hasten to the Cross, do it now, right now. Tell God all about your sins, ask Him to have mercy on your sinful soul for Jesus' sake. I beseech you, Seek to be reconciled to God, and close with Jesus Christ through faith in His forgiving, atoning blood.

You cannot truly believe that Christ suffered for your sins, and then continue on in your sinful and lustful habits. Fix your blind eyes on the Lamb of God bearing your sins in His own body on the tree. If you look to Him in faith, you will live forever. Whoever you may be, though you may be the worst sinner this side of hell, yet Jesus is mighty to save the worst of the worst. The blood of God can save the most devilish sinner alive. Where sin is bitter, Christ is sweet, only then.

Look to Jesus’ wounds, look there now and live. Play not the fool with your immortal soul, look to the dying Savior, and gaze upon His bleeding wounds, pierced side, mangled body, and marred face. His face all soaked with bloody sweat. His five bleeding wounds are the founts of eternal pardon. You need God’s pardon by blood and free redeeming grace. Free grace flows from Christ’s hands, rich mercy streams from His feet, dying love pours from His pierced side. Look steadily and intently upon Him with all your heart. Look fixedly on the Sin-Bearing Lamb of God. Only His sin-atoning death can put away your sin’s guilt. View the Bleeding Savior and hate your sins.

Give yourself up to Christ Jesus Himself. Rely upon Him alone for eternal salvation. Fix your faith only on Christ's shed blood. One sight of the five wounds of Christ and your sins are covered and your iniquities are put away forever. Come and view the flowing of Christ’s soul-redeeming blood. Behold how He loved you! Faith in His five wounds is the only thing that will kill your sins and lustful, unclean habits. His five wounds are still pleading for your soul. Only the love of a dying Savior and His bleeding wounds can save a real sinner. Christ died for the ungodly, not the good and respectable.

Poor sinner, delay no longer. Come to the foot of the Cross, look up to His five bleeding wounds flowing for your sins, see the fountains of pardoning grace. You’re not asked to do anything or to be anything, or to feel anything, but you’re simply asked to look away from your sin and self to what Christ has done, and you shall have eternal life as a free gift. Turn and look you to Christ and live, believe on Him and thou shalt be saved, you shall never perish trusting only in His Blood, Jesus Christ the living Substitute is still able and willing to save the vilest of the vile.

Look to Jesus now alone for free and full salvation. Trust your soul in the living Savior's hands, and you are saved. The moment you trust Jesus Christ you’re saved and your sins are gone; you’re saved on the spot, saved for all Eternity. Turn from and forsake your self-righteousness and that deadly love you have for your sins, and simply Trust in the Crucified and Risen Creator! Plead His Pardoning Blood and Justifying Grace! Ask God for His Free Mercy and Royal Pardon By Precious Blood.

God's Library

Up in Heaven, there are many books in God's Library.  One of those books has your name on it.  Each of year of your life is another chapter, and each day of your life is another paragraph. Each thought you think, each word you utter, and every action you take is another sentence that is written down in your biography which God is monitoring and recording.  What will your book say about you?  Will your book condemn you before all of the Universe one day at the White Throne Judgment; or Will your book bring glory to God and honor to His Son Jesus Christ?

And A fiery stream issued and came forth from before Him; thousand thousands ministered unto Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him: the Judgment was set, and the books were opened. *Daniel 7:10* And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. *Revelation 20:12*

The Still, Small Voice

Please take time to be still and be small today, and listen closely to the still, small Voice of the Holy Spirit from the words of the living God found in the Holy Scriptures, The King James Authorized Version. Ignore the changing, confusing voices of this vain, delusional world today, and persistently Focus on the still, small Voice. Jesus' sheep hear His Voice and follow Him.  Now understand, Every soul that is of the Truth, hears His Voice.

Try the spirits whether they be of God; spirits move and provoke thoughts, thoughts move voices, voices speak words to us; and then, their words produce thoughts within us, these thoughts produce beliefs, beliefs produce your lifestyle, your conduct, your values and principles, and ultimately your eternal destiny.  There are three types of spirits moving in this world - man's spirit, evil spirits, and the Holy Spirit Himself.   Try the spirits whether they be of God, the Bible says.  *I John 4:1*

Behind every voice, there is a spirit moving that voice - take heed, discern the spirit, and be mindful of what voices and words you are listening and yielding to.  The spirit of this world is always attempting to persuade and lead you away from Jesus Christ.  Be alert to Truth, and be cautious of the sleight of men, and their cunning craftiness. Again, take heed which voices you are listening to, take heed what ye hear, receive into your mind, and wind up following with your thoughts, words, actions and life.

In the Holy Bible, there are many types of spirits: evil, unclean, seducing, lying, and Holy.  Never give heed to seducing spirits, but take heed to the Spirit of Truth. Be very careful about which Voice is directing your life. Ask God the Holy Spirit for His discernment. *I Corinthians 12:10*

Most of the time it is man's spirit just chattering about mindless nonsense such as himself, the weather, politics, religion or sports.  But sometimes there is an evil spirit speaking through a human voice. *Mark 8:33* And very rarely, the Holy Spirit speaks through a human voice. *John 6:63* *I Corinthians 14:37* *II Peter 1:21*

Books are a collection of words that came from a spirit; the thoughts and voice of some man or woman. Be careful about the words you read as well, because some writers and authors are very moving and could lead your mind and life astray into more darkness, away from God and His will and way.  Songs' lyrics are words that came from different spirits:  beware of listening and being persuaded by lyrics in songs in these evil days.

Jesus said, "My sheep hear my Voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. Please make sure you are following Jesus' Voice found in the Scriptures; the still, small Voice of the Holy Spirit - the Spirit of Christ.  Every one that is of the Truth heareth His voice.  *John 18:37* He that is of God heareth God words:  ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God. *John 8:47* You must be still and small to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit.
