In Your Right Mind

The maniac of Gadara was out of his mind before Jesus came to him and rescued him from the bondage of the devils and evil spirits that had control of his mind (See Mark 5:15; Luke 8:35).  After Jesus saved him, he sat down at Jesus’ feet and was in his right mind.  Unclean spirits control many people’s minds today in America.  These spirits enter their minds through the teachings of false teachers.  These poor sinners receive these seducing spirits when they swallow down religious lies into their soul.

Are you out of your mind?  Here are some things that are being taught today by false teachers in America and around the world to fill the minds of poor sinners with seducing spirits.  The Bible calls these teachings the doctrines of devils (I Timothy 4:1) and damnable heresies (II Peter 2:1).

The gospel of Christ has been very manipulated today by the devil’s ministers (II Cor 11:4,13-15).  Man wants to make his own way to heaven (Romans 10:3).  But everyone is not going to be saved (Matt 7:13-14).  Universalism is a doctrine of the devil.  Everyone is not going to heaven.  The false teacher wants you to think that everyone is a child of God and every one is going to heaven one day.  Every man belongs to God by creation, but not by regeneration.  God made every person’s body and soul, but God has not saved every person from their sins.  See John 3:3, 7.  Ye must be born again of the Spirit of God to enter heaven's gates.  You have to be a son of God, there has to be a true relationship between you and God before you die.  Those who have rejected revealed truth will end up in hell-fire.  Everybody is not going to heaven, dismiss that false lie from your mind.

The world says, “It doesn’t matter what you believe, as long as you believe something.”   They say, "But what about the Muslims and what about the Buddhists, and their sincerity." Well, they are sincerely going to hell.

Today's false prophets will try to get you to believe this, “Most people are going to heaven, they just need to have faith."  But it’s not about just having faith, it's about having properly placed faith in the right Person.  If you just have faith, you’ll wake up one day behind the gates of hell.  Listen up, everybody’s not going to heaven, jot it down.  Today’s false teachers want you to believe that, but it is a black lie right out of hell.

A false teacher will also tell you, "More people are going to heaven, than going to hell."  Some people today think that America is a Christian nation, that is a lie and a joke.  The Bible says, "Broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that go in thereat.”  More people are going to spend eternity in the flames of hell, in outer darkness, weeping, wailing and gnashing of teeth, enduring eternal damnation.

There will be more people in hell than in heaven, this is a Bible fact.  America is going to hell today, headlong, wide open, with the throttle on rabbit, most people are headed to hell today, they are going in the devil's direction.  Remember, more people will wind up hell, than in heaven.  Now understand - Heaven has its limitations and its boundaries.

The false teacher will also tell you, "If you'll just join my church, denomination, or religion, and be baptized by my elder, you may get to heaven, because only our church members get to go to heaven.  The average American will say, "Well, I go to church sometimes." But in Matthew 7, those who prophesied, these preachers even went to hell. Even those that cast out devils – the exorcists went to hell.  They were sincerely trying to preach and get the devils out of people.  They cast out devils out of other, but they never had the devil cast out of them, they never received Christ Himself into their own hearts and minds.  They prophesied and used the Bible and the Lord's name in vain, but never called upon Jesus' name in sincerity for their own salvation from their own sins. If God sent those good, sincere people to hell forever, what will He do with you?  What will God do with beer drinking, cigarette smoking, lying, thieving, cheating, unthankful, whoremongering, lusting, grumbling, gambling, ungrateful, selfish, NFL and NASCAR worshipping, rebellious, worldly, program taking, pill popping sinners?  If God sends some sincere preachers to hell, then what’s God going to do with YOU?

Mark it down; real good people are going to go hell all around you, but why? Because they think they’re pretty good in their own eyes, or in other men's eyes, but they didn't take time to ensure they were good in the eyes of God.  Only God can make a sinner good through His Son's perfect righteousness. (Matt 6:33)  If God would send good, sincere people to hell, what is He going to do with you?

You may say, "Well I go to church on Sunday ever once in a while, and I give a $5 dollar tip in the offering when I can."  But that’s not going to impress a holy God at the judgment.  If you just come to church, sit around, and try to act like a Christian, and hope that some good will rub off on you somehow, then you're going to wake up, real surprised one day in hell.  You can show up at a church, make the sounds of a Christian, dress like a Christian, and still go to hell like a bullet when you die.  The false teacher will trick you into thinking that, if you just keep coming his church, and endure till the end, that will get it done.  But it won't!

Here's some of the false teachers' lies: * Everyone is going to heaven. * Most people are going to heaven. * Just be religious and sincere, and you’ll go to heaven.

Here's another lie:  *After death, you’ll have a second chance.  The Pope has dreamed up purgatory for you to trust in.  He says, "Just do the best you can, and after you leave this life, you can go to limbo a little while, and maybe you'll get out."  Many religions believe in reincarnation, and some believe that maybe your good will outweigh your bad.  But this is Satan’s trick to damn your soul.  But the Bible teaches that when death comes, it's all over, there won’t be a second chance when you quit breathing.  There’s no RESET button for your soul, you only have one life, and it will soon be past.  You’re cannot get things fixed after death, you better think about God seriously now.  No one will be able to bail you out of hell after death; there are no second chances in eternity.

Jesus said to the lost and religious sinners in Matthew 7, "I never knew you, depart from Me, ye that work iniquity." “Depart” means there is no return.  This is permanent terminology.  To "leave" means there may be a chance of return, but Jesus orders these poor sinners to DEPART forever from His presence. Are you out of your mind today?  Think soberly, there’s no RESET button on life. You can’t fix things after death.  Seek God now; trust His Son’s blood NOW.

You only have one chance to get things right between you and God.  See Hebrews 9:27, The Bible says, "It is appointed unto men, ONCE TO DIE, but AFTER THIS, THE JUDGMENT."  You won’t get out of this appointment.  You cannot delay, reschedule, or cancel this appointment.  There are no second chances after death, you’re not going to get another try, you'll have no more opportunities to be saved after death.  If you’re going to get saved from sin and hell, you must be saved while you are alive and able to think rationally.

* The false teacher will also tell you, "When you get to heaven, God will weigh out your good and bad. There will be a big scale up there, the angels are going to put all your good works on one side, and all your bad works on the other side, and if your good outweighs your bad, you'll get into heaven."   But this is a lie from the devil!  The Bible says, we are all born in sin and are the workers of iniquity, all our best works are nothing but dung-covered filthy rags in God’s sight, all we can ever do falls into the bad pile with God.  Your bad will always outweigh your good; there is no doubt about it, because you’re all bad.

* The religious cults of today will also tell you that, "You can get saved anytime you want to."  They will tell you that you decide for yourself, it's all up to you.  Then you think to yourself, "I've got plenty of time, I'm going to enjoy my sin now, and I’ll wait and deal with Jesus later."  This attitude of procrastination is extremely dangerous.  The Holy Spirit will not always strive with man.  If you are lost and undone right now, you had better run to the Cross of Calvary asap and trust the Lamb of God with your immortal soul.  Don’t gamble on tomorrow.  Boast not thyself of tomorrow.  You don’t know if you'll have a tomorrow.  Don’t keep messing around with your precious soul and wind up in hell without God forever.  Today may be your last chance to be saved from your sins.

* The false teacher will also try to convince you that, "There's no hell, a loving God could not make a place like that."  But hell is real, hell is on the lips of every unsaved man today, just listen closely at work.  You will notice that the lost sinner often mentions his future home in his conversation.  Hell is as real as your kitchen stove, and you cannot keep your hand inside that hot stove of yours over a minute, without suffering severe burns.  Now just imagine spending an eternity in a place full of intense fire and screaming, where you will never be close to family and friends anymore.  You will continually cry, "Momma, daddy, granny, somebody please help me, get me out here. It's so dark, it's so hot, I'm so thirsty and lonely. Oh God have mercy on me!"  But remember, there will never be any coming out of hell.  If you get THERE, you are there to stay for all eternity.

* Finally, the false teacher doesn’t want you to know you can be saved right now freely by the Precious Blood and Good Grace of God.  Every false teacher wants you to know a lot about 'his religion' and bring you into bondage to that religion, he wants you to think salvation is some sort of long journey and process that you can never attain, and that you can never know for sure that you're saved from your sin till you die and face God.

But in the Bible, salvation is a free gift from God, freely received by bankrupt sinners with no hope.  God became a man, Jesus Christ, God shed His blood for your sins, Jesus suffered the wrath of God and hell you deserved.  God set up a tree at Calvary and nailed His Son there for you, and now the gift of eternal life is waiting under that tree for all lost and miserable sinners that will come there and ask for the free forgiveness of sins.

The most precious gift in the universe is available to you right now, God’s free gift is waiting for you, come to the LORD JESUS CHRIST Himself right now, think about Him, pray to Him, trust Him, give Him your sin burden, trust God's precious blood, forsake all your good works and love of sin, and receive Christ righteousness freely and you will saved on the spot. EVERLASTING life will be yours.  See Eph 2:8-9, Romans 6:23; I John 1:7; John 14:6; Matt 7:13-23; John 3:7; I Peter 2:24; Luke 13:5; Acts 17:30; I Corinthians 15:1-4; John 6:37; I Peter 3:18; II Cor 5:21; John 10:28; Rev 22:17; John 3:14-21.  Trust Christ alone right now, before it's too late.
