Two Kinds of Wisdom

There are two kinds of wisdom today:  The wisdom from beneath that is found in earthly religions, public schools, colleges, universities, and the news media - this is called earthly, sensual, devilish wisdom in the Scriptures (James 3:15).  The world by earthly wisdom knows not God.

But the wisdom that is from above is FIRST PURE, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the Lord men depart from evil (your own sinful habits). The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom:  a good understanding have all they that do His commandments. The fear of the Lord is to hate evil (that is, your own sins). If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But wisdom is justified of all her children. (James 3:17, Proverbs 16:6; Psalm 111:10; Proverbs 8:13; James 1:5; Luke 7:35).

God's wisdom FIRST leads a man to be pure, and to depart from his evil (that is, your own sinful thoughts, words, and habits).  If the wisdom you have is not leading you to be more pure and please God in thought, word and deed, then you have an "earthly" wisdom that is devilish.  You may be clever, but you're not clean.  Only the Blood of Christ can make a sinner clean, not his works.  Every sinner must be saved by Blood, and Islam doesn't provide the sinner any blood or Substitute to atone for his sins.

Blessed are the PURE in heart, for they shall see God.  Your heart (inward nature) can only be purified by placing simple God-given faith in Jesus Christ's precious blood (I Peter 1:19,22).  True wisdom will always first lead you to be pure in mind, heart, and body (II Corinthians 7:1).  Flee also youthful lusts: but follow righteousness, faith, charity, peace, with them that call on the Lord out of a pure heart. Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me. The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever.  Wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way? by taking heed thereto according to God's word. Jesus said, Now ye are clean through the word which I have spoken unto you.
