Indescribable Love

As Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:  that whosoever believeth in *Him* should not perish, but have eternal life. For God *So* loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in *Him* should not perish, but have everlasting life.  For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through *Him* might be saved. He that believeth on *Him* is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

And this is the condemnation, that *Light* is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than *Light*, because their deeds were evil.  For every one that doeth evil hateth the *Light*, neither cometh to the *Light*, lest his deeds should be reproved.  But he that doeth truth cometh to the *Light*, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God.

The punishment for all my sins has fell on Christ Jesus on Calvary's Cross instead of me - this is Indescribable Love.  Christ Jesus in my place suffered the penalty due to my sins.  His Precious Blood pacifies God's wrath towards me, and nothing else will.  God became a man for my sake, and made Atonement for my sins.  Divine satisfaction through the finished work of Christ.  God is so good and gracious to unworthy sinners. My Lord Jesus Christ has made a complete Atonement for all my guilt. The stoop of heavenly Love brought Jesus down to earth and then to Calvary's Cross.

Come out of your self-righteousness and into Christ's Righteousness.  Take off your filthy black rags and put on Christ's pure robe of Righteousness.  It is an insult to the Atonement of Christ when you set up your own merit to help out the Atonement. Put no confidence in the flesh at all. Every sin against a good and holy God deserves eternal death as its punishment. The wages of sin is Death.  The only way God could be Just, and yet forgive guilty men like us, was that Jesus Christ came into the world and offered up His own life instead of ours.  *I Peter 3:18; Galatians 3:13; II Corinthians 5:19-21*

God Incarnate did bear my sins in His own body on Calvary's tree.  I am now fully forgiven forever, because Jesus took my sins away with His Precious Blood.  Receive the great truth of the Atonement into the innermost part of your being and be at peace with God.  The suffering due on account of your sins was laid upon the Lord Jesus Christ, and that Atonement for human guilt is found in His Precious Blood, and you may come to His Blood just as you are.  Jesus has made a fully Atonement for your sins.

At Calvary I see an Atonement complete, Satisfaction rendered, Justice honored, Grace offered, divine Love suffering, bleeding, and conquering Sin.  Feed upon the Lord Jesus Christ, receive Him by faith.  Faith is the mouth by which Jesus is received into the heart.  God Himself came into this world as a man, Jesus of Nazareth, He lived a holy sinless life, and then He died a bloody sacrificial death to put away our sins, the Just for the unjust, that He might bring us to God.  The Almighty God appeared here on Earth in human form to save sinners.  Your Sin is a reality, accept the sinner's position, acknowledge your guilt, confess your need of the Savior and His Blood Atonement.

This is what Atonement means - You have sinned against God, you are guilty, the Law of God demands an eternal punishment.  You have done much wrong, someone must be punished for all the wrong.  Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, came here to Earth and bore the consequences of human sin in His own body on the Tree.  And now by the very act of believing and receiving Jesus to be your Substitute and Sin-Bearer, bearing your guilt and punishment, and being unto God a perfect sinless Blood Sacrifice instead of you.  God pardons human sin freely and fully by Christ's Blood Atonement.  Nothing can give ease to your guilty soul and troubled conscience but the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God.  Cry out for Mercy to Jesus, ask Him for His free forgiveness of sins.

Your sins cannot go unpunished.  The Righteous Creator God must punish my sin, but Jesus His Son was punished in my place. The claims of divine justice must be met, the Judge of all the earth must do right, He cannot allow my sin to go unpunished. You are going to die, and if you die unprepared, you are going where God must visit your sins upon you.  Let Christ's Atonement satisfy the claims of infinite justice. Because of the Cross, God can be Just and yet the Justifier of whosoever that believeth in Jesus' Precious Blood.  God executed the death penalty due to my sins upon the Innocent Savior. I need a simpler faith in Jesus, a more abundant trustfulness in His Atonement.

Jesus' sinless and life and blood vindicated the Law and honored God's holiness.  Have you ever personally trusted to Jesus Christ's Precious Blood?  My sole trust is in His Precious Blood.  Think over the Bible Way of Salvation, the Story of the Cross, the Bleeding Love of God, the Readiness of Christ to Save, and Believing on His Precious Blood.  Free Pardon of human sin through faith in the Atoning Blood.  Plead Jesus' Blood at once, receive His free pardon now.

You must receive Christ spiritually by Faith and digest Him inwardly by meditation, by thinking much upon Him, by digesting of His words by meditation, by turning His words over and over in your heart and mind until they are a part of your being forever.  Think upon God's words, ponder them, consider them, press the juice out of them, their virtue and power, think of what you hear, lay the Gospel up in your heart, let the Scriptures become food to your spirit.  Assimilate Jesus Himself into your spiritual life. Feed on Jesus spiritually this moment.  Let your mind dwell on His Deity and atoning blood. Seek to know more and more of Jesus and His love.  Let Him be absorbed into your inmost heart by a childlike trust, let Him become vitally part of your inner self, and let Him live in you. *Galatians 2:20*
