I am a sinner, but Christ took my sin upon Him, and was punished for it. Conquer sin by pleading the blood of Christ. Delight in the Atonement, take it as your own. Make the Atoning Blood the medicine for curing your sinful habits. The Blood of Jesus Christ is the life of faith and death of sin. The Atonement by Blood, the Substitution of our Lord Jesus Christ. The Blood of Jesus is the only fountain for cleansing indeed; the Blood is the sole source of holiness, the only preparation for heaven. Saving Faith points us to the atoning blood which is our life.
Jesus has made Atonement to the full for us all. Jesus laid down His life to make Atonement for me. Jesus has made a full Atonement for sin, there's nothing for you to do. Commit your soul to Jesus by an act of simple faith. Your sin must be laid on Jesus. To rest on the Savior's Atonement is the safest course. The Gospel of Free Grace, Substitution, Atonement by Blood, Justification by Faith. Dying men want realities, a sinner's Savior, Atonement for guilt. Pass out of this world with hope - trust to Jesus Christ alone. Full Atonement is already made, the utmost Ransom is forever paid. Stand as a poor sinner at the foot of the Cross, trusting only to the Lamb's Atonement. God gave His Son to live and die for guilty men, just like you.
These are two great truths - Reconciliation to God by the Bloody Death of Jesus Christ, and Regeneration by the work of the Holy Ghost. Be in love with holiness, ever eager after purity for Jesus' sake. The Holy Ghost regenerates, converts, and sanctifies. The Holy Ghost's work of regeneration, emptying, humbling, leading to repentance and faith, sanctification, daily sustenance of divine life, and perfecting of the soul is a miracle, which sinful man cannot do. Be eager to be pure in heart, mind, tongue, and deed. Look out after poor seeking souls with eagerness. Eagerly ascribe all the glory to Jesus who bled for sinners. You better get to the Cross immediately with all your sins - only there can you be freely Forgiven. Disown your own righteousness as eagerly as you disown your sins. Highly esteem the Righteousness of Christ, which becomes ours by simple childlike Faith in Jesus' Atoning Blood. Jesus' bloody death was the vindication of God's divine justice; it is only the sinless death of the Sin-Bearer that appeases God's wrath; it is only His sacrificial, substitutionary, expiatory, atoning death that saves the ungodly. Pass out of this world at peace with God resting on Christ's Atonement. Reconciled to God by Christ's Great Sacrifice on Calvary.
Jesus bore the enormous load of man's transgressions, over His sinless soul the dark wave of human guilt passed over. His sensitive pure spirit bore the iniquity of us all. Jesus was made a Curse for us, so we could be blessed in Him. The blood-red colors of the Atonement are fastened to the masthead and will fly there forever. Jesus bore the wrath of God on your behalf. Declare in the plainest possible terms, the glorious Substitutionary Sacrifice in the place of guilty men saves to the uttermost. This is the very heart of the Gospel - we now have access to God by the blood of the Atonement. You must without question accept the Substitutionary Sacrifice of Jesus Christ to pay for your sins, or you will have to pay for them eternally in the Lake of Fire. The Precious Blood must be your soul's only hope. The Blood alone can make your filthy soul clean and justified before the living God.
There is a world to come, your sin is a great evil, and Christ's Blood Atonement is your only hope of salvation from eternal damnation. Through the Atonement, the guilty may now approach the Holy Creator. Jesus shed His matchless Blood for your sins. Human nature takes up with strange conceits and new-fangled notions when faced with the Gospel because it loves sin. Every man with the help of the Holy Ghost must experience the evil of his sins, and feel his need of the Savior and the necessity of Atonement by Blood. Confide in God's dear Son, believe that His great Atonement saves sinners through the Lamb's redeeming blood. Turn from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to Christ. This is the main point - Incarnation, Atonement, Justification, Forgiveness, Resurrection, Ascension, Second Coming. Jesus made Atonement by His own blood once for all. The Gospel of Christ Crucified is the sure way - II Corinthians 5:21; Galatians 3:13.
God counts us blessed and just for the sake of the Savior's Atonement. You have sinned and you cannot undo your sins against God by your own doings and merits. Only Jesus Himself can do that for you. Look to the Lamb of God on the Cross for you, see God in the person of Jesus of Nazareth making an Atonement for your sins. When the Holy Ghost comes with the word of Reconciliation, the sinner catches at the truth of Atonement by a Substitute. I am lost in myself, but saved in Christ, in myself I am condemned for my sin, but in Christ my sin is laid on Another and put away forever.
God in human flesh made an Atonement for human sin. He died on Calvary's Cross for you. There is no better news for a guilty sinner than a bleeding Savior. Jesus died to make amends of reparation for a sinner's crimes against God. Sinful men killed the Savior who came to do them good. Jesus gave Himself for our sins. The first thing of your soul to do is to get near to Christ. Feed upon His truth. Play not the fool with your soul. Own up to your sins, take the place of a sinner. Your heart is full of wickedness, your soul is steeped in sin. You have no merits or deserving before the holy God. Stand guiltily silent before the Lord, and receive Christ as your Savior. Deposit in Jesus' hand your soul, for He is able to keep that which you commit unto Him against that day. Will you have your sins or the Savior? Which will it be?
The Atonement of Christ must be applied by the Holy Ghost to your guilty conscience. Substitution, Imputation, Pardon, Eternal Life. Salvation by Substitution, by Atonement, and Sinless Sacrifice. The grace of God through the Atonement of Christ Jesus is only for men who are actually and really guilty. For human sin, the full and free Atonement has been made by the Son of God. The Blood Atonement will never fail any sinner, therefore God's mercy shall endure forever towards my soul. No man can be saved from his sin except by the Atonement. Stick to the foolishness of testifying and preaching Atonement by Blood.
