REALITY CHECK 5

It's a Miracle that you're not in Hell burning right now, and you have not received what you justly deserve for sinning against your Maker. You've been slighting Christ, and kicking against the pricks of the Holy Spirit. You've been thinking about getting saved, but now you're damned forever, and you finally wake up, but the flames of hell are what awakens you. You longed for everlasting life and peace with God through your religiousness and self-righteous deeds, but you give way to all sorts of sins, and your evil cravings and old lustful habits, vices and corruptions made you like a dog who always goes back his own vomit, and like a washed sow, you returned to the wallowing in the mire, you love so dearly. Nothing is sacred and pure to your sin-blackened Soul. Your iniquities have taken hold inside you; Your Soul is holden with the cords of your Sins in hard bondage, you insanely love your Sins, you despise your own salvation, and hate your own Soul. Think on your latter end, helpless Sinner, repent toward God today, look to JESUS while you may. You are in imminent danger of the wrath to come, Beware, lest you die in your sins, and perish unprepared, unconverted, and unforgiven. 

By Death and all its terrors, by the horrors of the resurrection of damnation. by the Judgment, by your death sentence and its eternal certainty, by punishment in everlasting agony and torments, by time and eternity, by death and hell and the lake of fire, by God the Father, and the bleeding wounds of the Savior of the world -- Awake from your sleep of death and your sin coma. You are dying in your sins as we speak, the wrath of God abides on you, hell is coming, escape for your life, flee to Christ Jesus for eternal Refuge. Without Christ, your heart is the most wretched and vile place. Saving Faith is simply Trusting entirely upon the living person of JESUS, The Son of God, Who is God manifest in the flesh. The Bleeding Love of Christ is your Soul's only Hiding Place. 

To believe on JESUS is simply this: Be Nothing and Be Still, and Receive Christ Jesus into your Emptiness, and let the Holy Spirit Regenerate and Convert your Soul, deep within you; Salvation is the Eternal Miracle of God's Divine Grace; Rest your heavy laden Soul upon the Atonement and Righteousness of Christ Jesus, and have done once and for all with all your reliance upon feelings and doings, and trust in what JESUS Christ has FINISHED on the CROSS for your Salvation. 

Feeble voice and muttering words in your dying moments, your sinful past will haunt you in your dying hour on your death-bed with your mattress and pillow stuffed with the thorns of regret.  Worldly living only to get money and pleasure, damned many souls by your influence, chasing after trifling amusements, no where to turn for comfort only existing as a brute beast here in time, seeking popularity and speaking eloquently with fair speeches and smooth words. The eternal dirge meets your ears, and the doleful shrieks of damned souls, grim apprehensions of the wrath to come. You loved your mixed drinks, now you must drink from an eternal cup full of wrath to the brim and the bitter dregs of death. You'll soon find your Soul in the hands of a terrible and angry God, lifting up your eyes in hell being in torment, very thirsty in the flame. You'll soon be a cold corpse being lowered down into your bed of dust and cemetery plot. Death will soon become a real matter of fact to you; your lips livid, cheeks pale, ghastly look of horror in your eyes, and feel the anguish of another world separated from God forever. You will soon expire and give up the ghost for Eternity, but you'll go on sinning, blaspheming, weeping, wailing, gnashing your teeth, gnawing your tongue, hating God, regretting your foolishness, feeling God's angry wrath every moment. The greatest mistake is dying unpardoned, covered in your sins, condemned and unregenerate. You're carelessly heading for eternal destruction, loving sin and speeding headlong into the ETERNAL JUDGE'S dreaded courtroom and eternal tribunal. You're hurrying on to be lost eternally. A sick man seeks his doctor, a bankrupt man has anxious sleepless nights, and long toilsome days, but you play with your poor lost Soul, and you care very much for worthless earthly things. 

You're lost, ruined, undone, doomed - Why will you die without Christ, and perish forever in your sins? A Christless Eternity will be the most dreadful thing to endure; an angry God will be dreadful as well, you'll judged and eternally condemned. No tongue could ever describe the horrors of the lake of fire. Escape for your life, look not behind you, stay not in your own self-righteousness, Escape to the Cross, lest you be damned and condemned for all Eternity. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, Trust only HIM with your Soul now. 

You have an aggravated acute case of sinning against God Himself. You will die soon, it will be either heaven or hell, bliss or horror, glory or misery. Salvation has been FINISHED by Christ Jesus, all by Himself, on the Cross. Salvation is FREE, already paid in Full by Christ's Precious Blood. Trust JESUS' Precious Blood, and all the horrors of Death and Hell will have no power over you whatsoever. 

There is no Peace, saith my God, to the wicked. Peaceless warring state in your Soul, at war with God, His Law, and with your conscience. The Holy Spirit pricks you, prompts you, warns you, "this is not right, you're on the path that lead to hell, the road that winds up in destruction. Your conscience haunts you day and night, you reach for the forbidden rose of sin, but the conscience pricks you. Downward path is hedged up, but you climb over the barriers and barbed wire, for you are determined to ruin and damn your Soul. Turn from your love of sins, stop cheating others, stop drinking, unchaste relationships, have done with your secret lusts, bolt your door against against ungodliness. But you say, "Even if it damns me to hell, and I perish in my sins, I will keep on enjoying my liquor and sinful partying." The Consciense is God's sheriff in your Soul. Let your conscience speak to you, for he is your good friend.

You're at War with God's Ten Commandments, and they are against you. You have another god besides the Living and True God. Your god is your belly. You worship your own lusts and idolize and adore your Self. You live in daily neglect of all God's commandments. At the Judgment, your life's history book will be opened. All your sins and shame will be published and revealed before the entire Universe. Can you dwell with everlasting fire and abide in eternal burning? Be wise, agree with your Adversary quickly. You're at War with God Himself. God made you, He is your best Friend that you refuse to know, You forget and neglect days without end. You do not wonder about the Creator of all things Who is all around you every moment of the day. 

God feeds and spares you every day of the week, but you use your brain and strength against Him. God clothes you, but you are the friend of His enemies, and remain a slave to God's greatest enemy, Satan. The very breath in your nostrils right now is loaned to you each day from His divine Charity, but you use your breath to curse and blaspheme God. You use filthy communication, lascivious and loose conversations, and do God much dishonor. You have become God's true enemy by your own righteousness and through your sins, even today, you hate God and despise His words. If you didn't hate God, you would believe on His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. The commandment to trust JESUS is sweet and easy, but you reject Him, because you love your sins with all you've got. See John 8:42; John 14:21,24; I John 2:15; I John 5:1. 

Your Soul is in a very sad Plight without Christ. You're at War with your Maker, and continually strive against His dear Son, and your eternal future is looking mighty grim. See Isaiah 45:9. You cannot hide from God. See Jeremiah 23:24. The whole Creation is your Prison House, there's no Escape for you. I beseech you in Christ's stead, by ye Reconciled to God, by unfeigned Faith in the JESUS' Precious Blood. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, especially YOU. See Matthew 23:37. Throw down your weapons, yield/surrender to Christ and receive *HIM*, and be no longer God's foe. Free Pardon through JESUS' BLOOD is presented to your guilty Soul, Sincerely repent of your Sins toward God. Will you keep on sinning, and trying to save yourself, or simply TRUST in JESUS and LIVE. 

The Sweet Simple Gospel, Believe in JESUS, and live Eternally through Him. Eternal Pardon comes to your sinful Soul through childlike Precious Faith in JESUS. See John 3:18; Isaiah 55:7. Lord God, I would be at Peace with You. Be willing to take Christ on His terms, simply give yourself up to HIM, turn your Soul over to JESUS, Receive HIM, be saved BY HIM. Will you have Christ, or not? Look this eternal matter in the face, and get your Sins taken care of, let the Lamb of God take away your Sins, by Faith in His Precious Blood. You may say, "I am not fit." There's no question about your fitness. "I am black-hearted to my core." But Christ Jesus will enter your heart, and clean it out with His own Blood. "I have a hard heart." But Jesus will give you a new heart. "I am not worthy." God does not require any worthiness from you. God requires you to confess your sinfulness and inability to obtain a righteousness which He demands of you. Will you go into Eternity as an Enemy to God? Will you have the Lamb of God, or not? Will you die at enmity against God? Are you in Christ, or in your sins, this very moment? Are you personally and actually in Christ? Do you long to be saved by Christ. May the Holy Spirit give you His Grace, and the Precious Faith to Receive and Believe Christ, and to Yield to the Free Mercy of God in Christ Jesus. 

Look only to God manifest in the flesh, Christ Jesus, bleeding, sweating drops of blood, spit upon, scourged, nailed, pierced, dying in agony with your sins upon HIM, buried, risen from the dead. Believe in His Precious Blood, as your Peace offering unto God. Come and Rest your weary, guilty Soul upon JESUS. Take JESUS at His word, for He is as Good as His words. JESUS will save your Soul now, and to the very end. Away with your own rotten righteousness, counterfeit goodness, and forged merit. Every pretense of you trying to be saved by your own merits will soon collapse and crumble. Every sinner has broken every commandment from God, convinced of the Law as transgressors, for whosoever shall keep the whole law, yet offend in one point, he is guilty of all. The Ten Commandments are broken first in your heart and thoughts by your imaginations, intents, desires, and motives. Depend Entirely on JESUS' Bleeding, Pardoning LOVE, and on Self for Nothing. Fully reject the rottenness and emptiness of all human merit, and forsake all the deceitfulness and desperate wickedness of your self-righteousness. Stop your doings, and attempts to establish your own righteousness, for you can never make your dead Soul fit and acceptable in the sight of God. God respects no person but His dear Son, and He accepts no other Sacrifice than Christ Himself, The Lamb of God, Who was ONCE offered Himself without spot to God, to pay for your sins against God.

Your Conscience is uneasy because you reject Christ, and despise His Precious Blood. Boasting is the noisy way of drowning the alarms coming from your Conscience. Stop your arrogance, egotism, bragging, boasting, tooting your own horn, flaunting your degrees and learning. Cease from being puffed up in your fleshly mind with your own self-boastings. You must be emptied out completely of your own self-righteousness by the Holy Spirit, and be Freely Justified by the Righteousness of JESUS CHRIST.

Will you receive Christ Jesus into thine own heart, or not? You may say, "But I am not fit, but my heart is too hard, but my heart is too filthy within, but I'm too old, but I am not worthy." Stop but, but, butting the Gospel. He that heareth MY word, and believeth on Him that sent ME, hath Everlasting Life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto LIFE. He that believeth on the SON hath Everlasting Life: and he that believeth not the SON shall not see Life; but the Wrath of God abideth on him. You are covered with the putrefying sores and black spots of your Sins, but JESUS delights to wash the filthiest sinners clean, come and welcome to the Cross, Sinner, please come to JESUS now. The way of Free Salvation is again proclaimed into your ears Sinner; give ear Lost Soul, Christ Jesus came into world to save sinners, and He is able to save sinners to the uttermost that come unto God by HIM, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, for He poured out His own Life's Blood as an Peace Offering/Atonement for your sins. Trust your Soul with JESUS now, and He will receive you. Whosoever believeth on JESUS shall not perish in hell, but have Everlasting Life in glory. Simply Receive JESUS into the Emptiness of your Soul. Put your defenseless Soul in JESUS' hands, and He will keep you Safe Forever. At the last, JESUS will be your eternal Advocate and be answerable to God the Father for your Soul. JESUS will present you blameless and spotless in His Righteousness before the throne of God the Father.

REALITY CHECK 4

The all-important question is this: Are you IN CHRIST, or not? Have you fled to Christ Himself for Refuge from the wrath to come on your sins which you personally committed? Vain human imaginations and thoughts only lead to eternal wrath, dreadful doom and everlasting contempt. Are you under the wrath of God, or delivered from it by Christ's Precious Blood? Have you continued in all things in the book of the Law to do them? What is your plea before the Judge of all the Earth? Answer sincerely and straight forward for your own Soul's sake. Will you remain self-deceived and go on presumptuously until the flames of Hell wake you up from your self-deception? The wearisome slavery of religion has deluded you up until now, for dead religion led you to try and weave a righteousness of your own. You've got your ACT together, but it's all been an ACT, that's for sure, in the sight of God. The noise of religion and distracting voices of this world have turned your ear from the GOSPEL. Self-help is the quickest way to Hell; your Soul needs Divine Help from above, that is, your dead Soul must be regenerated by the Divine Power of the Spirit of God, and freely given the Divine Nature of God by the Free Grace of God.

I am a sinner, but JESUS died for me. I am sinner saved by Precious Blood. Christ was made a Curse in my place when He bore my sins in His own body on the Cross. I am now safe and secure forever, really converted and regenerated by the work of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit gave me the hearing ear inwardly, retentive memory, and a quickened conscience, for JESUS' sake. The Commandment is exceeding broad: no other gods before ME; mammon worship, self-worship, belly, business, family. Set up anything in the place of GOD; human honor, pleasures, drunkenness, lust, uncleanness. Taken the name of the LORD in vain; profanity, refuse to pay reverence and give glory to His name. Keep the Sabbath; forgotten God days without number, and never gave Him heart worship and glory. Honor father and mother; disobedient to their commands, kicked at their authority, striven with their rebuke and correction; dishonored and shamed them. Thou shalt not kill: angry with your neighbor, hate your brother. Thou shalt not commit adultery; lascivious thought, impure imagination, fornication. Thou shalt not steal; defraud not your employer, customer, or God. Thou shalt not covet: lust after money, position, miser's greed. 

You have insulted your Maker to His face daily. You never have done the best you could. You haven't obeyed God from the heart since the first dawn of reason. You're never been Content, you always are coveting after something, and then something more. Your hollow Soul craves for worldly things, vain amusements, and drugs of this world. Your immortal Soul can never be satisfied by temporal mortal toys and trinkets. Worldliness can never fill and satisfy your heart. Vain beauty and painted cheeks is a mere pretense. You wish to kill time because of your uneasiness within. You want to drink half the day, sleep the other half, and party the other part. 

Some new pleasure, some new device or toy may give you a little temporary excitement and entertainment, but at the last, you still remain a hopeless empty wretch. Your soul has become jaded and degraded by the endless filth flowing from this world. Your uneasiness intensifies, magnified to the extreme, you walk through dry places, seeking rest, longing for peace of mind, but finding none, always thirsting, feeding upon the husks and the wind, hungering, longing, yearning, groaning, sighing, pining, growing more conscious of your endless misery, aware of your deep pollution, wandering in the pitch black darkness of sin, feeling your poverty, and your Soul's hunger cannot be stayed. May your uneasiness bring you to the feet of Christ Jesus. 

Salvation by works is absolutely impossible for your guilty Soul. You've continued not in all the things of the Law, not even some things. You have not shunned all vices, performed all virtues, and attained a pure thought life. You've chosen the evil, and turned to the path that leads down to Hell. You've cursed God and Christ thousands of times a year with your foul mouth and vile heart. You're past feeling now, beyond hope, dull despair, the sure approach of damnation has come, and all your time now is past. The Bible cuts you to the heart and frightens you, and you have neglected and made light of the simple Gospel of Christ. You're struggling hard in your darkness. You have a few more hours or days in which you may escape the damnation of hell. A wise man always prepares for the inevitable. All of your vanity will soon be buried under six feet of dirt and dust. Your body is hasting to the cold grave, but your Soul will be dwelling in darkness, the second Death, in eternal despair. Beware of your own delusional state: May the Holy Spirit help you sense and feel the dismal forebodings of the judgment and wrath to come, But still you may say, "I've been no worse that others," but God will deal with you severely and justly. Salvation must be between you and Christ only, not some priest, elder, imam, or any other religious proxy. The Law sees your overt acts, and covert acts: thoughts, imaginations, conception of sin, premeditation, and the deeds that defile, degrade, and ruin the Soul. The very thought of foolishness is Sin. Cursed is every Soul that continueth not in all things which are written in the book of the LAW to do them. Off with your mask, away with all your vain excuses; The Blood and Righteousness of Christ Jesus must cover your guilty Soul. You've fallen into many temptations and snares, and into many foolish and hurtful lusts, which will drown your Soul in everlasting destruction and eternal perdition. Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world.

You scarcely give an ear to anything about God or Christ Jesus. Your ungodly unconverted Soul has at times had an uneasiness about death. The wrath of God abideth even on your Soul now, because you still neglect/reject Christ Jesus. You have long resisted the Holy Spirit, and neglected to come to the Son of God, now you're so far gone, long gone from bad to worse, from sin to iniquity to transgression. In a few short days, months, or years, you must die. You must lie upon your own personal, dreadful, real deathbed: they'll call your next of kin, and the doctor will say to you, "I have some bad news, there's no hope, time to say your prayers and goodbyes." It's all over but weeping, wailing, gnashing of teeth, the clock ticks, the day of mercy is gone, your family is weeping, the death rattle fills your throat, death has come up into your window, you have death-glazed eyes; no bragging, loud blasphemies, or proud boastings will come out of your mouth then. 

There's absolutely Nothing but a grim outlook for you without Christ. You must face unspeakable horror soon, the grim Reality seizes upon you at times, but you turn to the bottle or some chemical to settle your nerves with intoxication, inebriation, delirium mingled with regret and remorse making your very existence intolerable, vexed with fears, most hideous state, and you feel like ending it all. ETERNITY awaits you, and no frauds, dreams, experiences, whims, or some old Popish and Islamic fables will help your dead Soul. When your heart begins to flatline, and the candle of your Soul is ready to die out, Reality will set in. No more jokes and jests about Christ, no more making fun of God and the Holy Bible, and making a mock at Sin. Dark gloom gathers around your dead spirit. You'll be tossing and turning, strengthless on your bed, begging for more morphine, your pulse will grow faint and begin to fail, a clammy death-sweat will bead up on your brow, you'll feel the last pinch, the dreary point of despair as you begin to expire, your frail corpse being propped up on the bed, you are nearing the grave without hope. You experience a foretaste of Death Hell, and start to feel all the horrors of perdition which fall upon ungodly men, and begin to tremble like a leaf in a hurricane, the thought of dying you cannot bear. You hate the mention of inevitable death; the fear of dying haunts you, for soon you will have to deal with the awful REALITY of death, sooner or later. You won't be cracking a joke about Hell then. You often try to cover up your dismay; you're afraid of not getting your bills paid, so you get to work; you're afraid of going to hell, so you get to church, but that don't work; you're afraid of dying, so you get to the doctor. 

But your Soul will soon be launching out into Eternity forever with no hope of eternal salvation ever again, the thread of life will soon snap, and you'll go into the world to come. The wrath to come has finally arrived for you. Whither goest thou, sinner? Your spirit will be awakened from its sullen, stolid, stupid, insane, dead state. Your time is up sinner, the sand has run out, you face the dark monster, the shadow of death, all by yourself. Your body will die, but your Soul will not cease to exist, you will live on forever and ever. The Second Death is the Curse that falls on the Christless Soul. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after DEATH the JUDGMENT. You'll feel the sting of death when you enter the dreadful dominion of REALITY. It will be an awful thing for you to die without the Savior, and die unforgiven and unprepared to face the most frightful Curse and the Consuming Fire of God Almighty Himself. You must face the burning sentence of eternal wrath: Depart ye cursed into everlasting fire prepared for the devil and his angels. The funeral dirge of a lost Soul is a hopeless miserable ceremony, but everyone gets drunk, so don't have to think about where the poor lost Soul actually went when he passed into ETERNITY. 

Hearken to the Holy Spirit's promptings concerning Sin, Righteousness, and the Judgment to come, regard the Savior's words and calls. The barbarians laughed and mocked at Noah, until the flood came, and took them all away, and destroyed them all. You need Christ's all-sufficient divine RIGHTEOUSNESS, because you can never be saved by your own works. You utterly condemned by your own sins. You have merited damnation justly; be wise now, Give ear to the Gospel; May the Holy Spirit enable you to sense your sinful state, and feel the bitterness of your Sins, Hate your Sins, Sincerely Repent from the heart, Look to JESUS sincerely and live eternally, Call upon His Name, look no more to yourself or your dead religion, Trust only in JESUS' Precious Blood Atonement to cleanse your Soul, and take away your Sins forever. God laid on JESUS the iniquity of us all; The Father cursed His dear Son to save guilty sinners like you. May the Holy Spirit make you Wise unto Salvation, and bring you into Christ, unto the knowledge of the Truth, and the true Grace of God.  

I am a self-condemned sinner, I deserve eternal damnation, I've tried to do right and be better, but only grew worse. I slighted God's Grace and spurned His bleeding Love, I have despised Christ and His Gospel. I am a wretch through and through. I have nothing to plead of myself. My only plea is this: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; JESUS offered up Himself on the Cross for sinners. I am a sinner, so JESUS came to save me, I trust in HIM alone, He is my only Confidence and Rest. The sinner that comes to JESUS, He will in no wise cast out. I cast away all other empty trusts; I simply/sincerely trust (believe), and rely only on CHRIST JESUS Himself, for HE has FINISHED the Great Atonement for human sin.
