Don't Just Prepare for Retirement

In America, greedy worldlings are worried so much about their retirement, but they could care less about their own poor soul's safety and salvation.  The worldling is always checking his bank account, email, and stocks, but he never checks out what the Bible says about his sins and the Crucified Creator that died for those sins.  Men are so foolish concerning the things that concern their soul.  The vain man is always boasting about himself or what he loves most, but he has lockjaw concerning the Cross.  It would be a dying shame if you retired comfortably and wound up entering into Eternity uncomfortably.

Don't just prepare for retirement; prepare for Eternity; prepare to meet God; get you to the Cross.  Wake up sinner!  You may never live to see a retirement here on Earth.  Boast not thyself of tomorrow, for thou knowest not what a day may bring forth.  Tomorrow is a fleeting thing, and you are not promised another tomorrow.  "Now" is the word that the Bible always uses concerning Faith and Salvation. Lost men are very prone to procrastinate when it comes to repentance and receiving Christ, but the Spirit of God always says, "Today!"  Today, if you will hear the Spirit's still, small Voice, harden not your heart.  Take care of your soul today, trust Christ with your soul now.

It will harder tomorrow for you to turn from your sins to Christ than it will be today.  Every day you continue to love sin and neglect Christ is only putting another nail in your coffin.  Life is getting shorter for you with ever tick of the clock.  Every man is at first lost in his sins, then he gets lost in this world and its distractions, but the worst place to be lost is in religion because the religionist is the hardest man to reach with the Gospel.  The rotten planks of religion will not hold up your heavy laden soul.

Christ Jesus is the Propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.  *I John 2:2* God must be propitiated (appeased) concerning your transgressions against His divine Law.  The only thing in the entire universe that can appease God's wrath towards your soul is the Precious Blood of His only begotten Son. A lost man would rather go to Hell than get rid of his sins.  Ye 'must' be born again, that is, regenerated within by the Holy Spirit and given the divine nature which loves God and hates sin. You don't just sin from time to time, for as a Christ rejecter, all you do all day long is Sin.  You see, if you love yourself, and every religionist and atheist does, you love Sin, because all you really are is one big Sin, and before you are born again, all you can do is Sin. The Bible says, whatsoever is not of faith is Sin.  The Lord Jesus Christ still saves from the love of sin.

A lost man is always going on and on and on about his SELF-esteem, but a saved man is focused on Christ's esteem.  Forsake your lusts, divorce your favorite sins, renounce your self-righteousness.  Think now, use your noggin.  All you have to do is quit loving your sins, but that is impossible as long as you remain in your natural state.  God help you to come to your senses before its everlasting too last.  Your hourglass sand is running low, you are circling the drain, time is fleeting, life is but a vapor, your days are numbered, death is always near, divine justice is pursuing you, Hell is real, sin still damns, your soul is in imminent danger, the Judgment is inevitable, Eternity is forever - prepare for Eternity, not just retirement.
