By nature, every man hates the living and true God, despises Christ Jesus, offended by THE CROSS, and disgusted with the Free Gospel of God. Human nature cannot understand the Gospel and will not receive Christ. THE LORD JESUS CHRIST HIMSELF is your sinful Soul's only HOPE of missing HELL. Your spiritual leprosy called Sin lies deep within and at times bleeds through in your thoughts, words, and deeds. All your thoughts, imaginations, idle words, and secret deeds are recorded in God's books. If you say you have lived one day without a sinful thought or deed, you have never known Sin or your crooked self. The blinding light of God shines and discovers all the dust particles of your sins. A multitude of grains of sand overload a truck as surely as heavy beams of iron.

Your Sin pollutes your very best works and mars your finest intentions. You may be good in your own eyes, but not in God's sight. On your best day, you can do nothing else but SIN and stir up the wrath of God towards you. Saving Faith means this: you abandon all claims of self-righteousness, abandon every attempt to earn or deserve salvation through your dead works or religious efforts, then submit to Christ' Righteousness (Romans 10:3), and Freely Receive His ATONEMENT (Romans 5:11).

This present evil world is the lost man's only heaven; he sees hope in its vanity and happiness in its filth. The carnal mind loves the old nature, old lusts, old habits, old family (worldly company), and your old father (the devil). *John 8:44; 1 John 3:10* The motions of sin carry you away like a leaf in a hurricane, and your self-righteous pride and worldly lusts are dragging you down into THE PIT (Job 33:18-30).

Human merit and Divine Mercy can never be mixed. Do not remain self-righteous, self-sufficient, ungodly, careless, and worldly. Know your sins and hate them, for they will surely damn you. Your conscience pricks you at times, but you try to hush it with liquor and worldly distractions. Why do you refuse to leave your sins and turn from your self-righteousness?

You must abhor your own righteousness and be afraid of yourself before you will flee to Christ for eternal safety. Confess your secret iniquities with care, and repent of your own righteousness with sincerity. You must become a new creature deep within, given a new nature, made to love what you hate, and hate what you love.

The Holy Spirit must put you on a new road, with new habits, new thoughts, new loves, new hates, and new appetites, making you very different in private and in public. The Holy Spirit comes, puts His light into your darkened understanding, begins to warn and woo, pricks and awakens your conscience, and gives life to your dead soul. The Holy Spirit applies the words of THE LAW to your conscience and brings the truth of the Gospel home to your heart, and then the soul is gently persuaded and lovingly compelled to trust in Christ.

Salvation is the instantaneous, supernatural working of the Holy Ghost. You must be quickened by THE HOLY SPIRIT and called out of your darkness into the light of life. Your filthy, clogged, polluted, stony heart must be removed, for your natural heart is void of peace and goodness. Regeneration and transformation is the instantaneous, eternal work of God's free grace. The same power of God that raised Christ from the dead must raise up your dead soul to walk in newness of LIFE. Simple Saving Faith Restingly Receives God's Provided Atoning Sacrifice: THE LAMB OF GOD HIMSELF (John  1:12; John 1:29). To Believe on Christ Jesus alone means to submit your proud intellect and rebellious heart to God’s only appointed way of Salvation—trusting exclusively to the divine Mediator (1 Timothy 2:5), and in GOD'S BLOOD that was shed by the Merciful Mediator.

The object of your Faith must be capable of bearing and taking away the full burden of your sins and their guilt. Put all your trust in Christ Jesus Himself. Don't just admire or study about JESUS; place your entire confidence in JESUS' finished blood ATONEMENT immediately. Rest in HIM and the eternal fact that He took your place and bore your sins and God's fury and wrath, that was due to your sins on THE CROSS. Look to Christ now, see Him bleeding to death for your sins; only He can PUT AWAY (Hebrews 9:26) your sins forever by the sinless Sacrifice of HIMSELF on THE CROSS. Only one Man ever loved you to Death: His Name is EMMANUEL (God with us). Do you know Him? Does He know you? (See Matthew 7:23) Only GOD'S BLOOD can bridge/close the infinite gap between you and God Himself.

With the help of The Holy Spirit, you first need a sincere interest and faith in GOD'S PRECIOUS BLOOD shed by the Lamb of God. Receive the Eternal Spirit of Christ into your body and heart ASAP. Receive the full forgiveness of your sins as a free, unearned GIFT from God, for JESUS' SAKE. Confess your secret sins, forsake your own righteousness, and flee to Christ for abundant Mercy (Matthew 11:28; John 6:37). If you are relying on anything short of GOD'S BLOOD to PUT AWAY your sins, you are trusting in a LIE.

Genuine saving Faith is when a soul completely despairs of his own righteousness and rests entirely in the living Savior and His finished ATONEMENT for human sins. Don't follow the multitude that loves evil; stop desiring worldly respectability, be saved from public opinion, and go now unto JESUS without the camp and bear HIS reproach.

The inevitable end of the fearful, Christ-rejecting sinner is certain doom and eternal death in the lake of fire. Don't die in your sins with a dead soul, seared conscience, blinded mind, and false hope and peace. When your disembodied soul stands before the judgment bar of God, before the blazing eyes of the Almighty, the DAY of days and the dreadful Hour will have come upon you. Without JESUS as your Advocate and Ransom, you will have to pay eternally in the lake of fire for every sin you've ever committed against God's divine justice.

The books will be opened, and you will begin to hear the rustling of those awful pages where your dirty secrets are eternally recorded. Your eternal state of damnation will be fixed in shame and everlasting contempt before the Judge of all the earth (Acts 17:31). There will be no offers of Mercy then. No works of yours can ever satisfy God's wrath, so quickly discard your righteousness.

You have ruined yourself by sinning, but you must be Regenerated by the Spirit of Christ. Fix your heart's eye on THE LAMB OF GOD now. Fix all your Faith on GOD'S BLOOD alone. Greedy men want to religionate you on the outside, but the Holy Spirit wants to REGENERATE you on the INSIDE. Trust Christ *Himself* Alone, by Personal Faith Alone, in GOD'S PRECIOUS BLOOD Alone.

*DEAL TRULY*

God cares deeply about how we treat other people, especially when money, business, possessions, power, or advantage are involved. God does not merely condemn stealing in the obvious sense. God also condemns cheating, lying, manipulating, exploiting, overcharging, under-measuring, withholding what is owed, taking advantage of weakness, and secretly seeking our own gain at another person's expense.

God sees what men do not see. God remembers what men forget. God hates dishonest gain. God will avenge those who are defrauded. God is watching every day how you treat people. God says: Do not take advantage of another person. Do not use another person's ignorance, trust, poverty, or weakness against him. Do not deceive him so that you can gain what belongs to him **in any matter.**

God is not merely talking about stealing someone's wallet. Defrauding also includes: dishonest business, deceptive advertising, false promises, hidden charges, fraudulent measurements, manipulating contracts, dishonest wages, taking advantage of desperation, concealing important information, false representations, cheating customers, cheating employees, cheating employers by being lazy or by time card fraud, exploiting the poor, or deliberately creating a false impression so that someone gives you more money than he otherwise would. God says: Do not trick people so that you can get what belongs to them. The Lord is THE AVENGER of all such.

You might successfully deceive a customer, employee, neighbor, poor person, business partner, elderly person, or stranger, and escape human consequences. But YOU cannot escape God's eyes. A dishonest transaction may be hidden from men, but it is never hidden from God. God not only sees the action, but He sees the heart behind the action. The Bible repeatedly connects dishonest gain with **greed**. He that is greedy of gain troubleth his own house. The problem isn't just a dishonest scale. The deeper problem is the **greedy heart that wants more than God has given. The dishonest scale is only the instrument. Covetousness is the engine driving the dishonest deed. A greedy person first says in his heart: I want more, then how can I get more? Then, How can I get it without them noticing? And finally: It doesn't matter whether it is right. That's how greed becomes deception. God hates dishonesty even when it is legally clever. The greedy heart devises a plan, Can I get away with this? The question should be: Is this righteous before God? A dishonest person will ask: Is this legal? But a righteous person will ask: Is this honest? and a godly person goes even further: Would I gladly do this if Jesus Christ were standing right here beside me? But JESUS not just beside, He sees your heart,

God hates the False Balance: The crafty merchant had one weight for buying and another for selling. When purchasing: He makes the weight heavier. When selling: He makes the weight lighter. So he received more than he gave. The merchant is saying: I want one standard when it benefits me and another standard when it benefits you. The modern day equivalent to this may not be a literal scale. It can be: different rules for yourself and your customer; different standards for yourself and your employee; hiding defects from someone while demanding disclosure from them; demanding honesty from others while excusing your own dishonesty; charging someone more because you know they don't understand the market; exploiting someone because they desperately need something. The Simple Truth: God wants you to use the same honest ruler for yourself that you use for everyone else.

GOD wants your "Yes" to mean "Yes." The Bible condemns when we deal falsely, and lie one to another. If you say: This is what it costs, it should be true. If you say: This is what I will do, then you should do it. If you say: This is what I know about the product, then you shouldn't knowingly conceal something important. If you make a promise: Keep your word. 

God is especially concerned about exploiting the needy and weak. God pays particular attention to people who cannot easily defend themselves. If someone is poor, elderly, ignorant, desperate, trusts you, don't exploit him. If someone doesn't know enough to recognize your deception, that is not permission for you to deceive that person. This is the opportunity for you to do Justly, and to demonstrate Mercy. God doesn't accept the excuse: "they should have known better" as an excuse to cheat them. A dishonest person might say: It's their fault for not knowing. But THE BIBLE repeatedly condemns the greedy person who deliberately takes advantage of another person's disadvantage. If you know something important that the other person does not know, righteousness does not ask: How much can I make from their ignorance? Righteousness asks: How can I deal honestly with them? God hates greedy gain. The greedy heart says, I want as much money as I can get, regardless of whether another person's well-being is harmed.

Money becomes spiritually dangerous when the heart says: I must have more. Then your conscience begins to become an inconvenience. What was once shocking at the start becomes normal, and you become past feeling, and filled with greediness. Greed can gradually **deaden your conscience**. 

The scariest part is when you become accustomed to sinning against God. At first, a sin may trouble your conscience, they you repeat the sin, and eventually your conscience becomes seared and quiet, then you no longer feel much guilt, and then you begin to enjoy and defend the vile acts. Finally you may call evil just a business deal. Never tolerate what God calls a Sin. If your conscience convicts you about dishonesty, don't silence that conviction: Thank God for the warning, Confess it to God, Repent quickly, Make things right with God as soon as possible.

God remembers what you forget. “Surely I will never forget any of their works.” Think about that. The dishonest merchant may forget the customer. The customer may forget the transaction. The employee may forget the unfair treatment. Years may pass. The business may close. The money may be spent. The paperwork may disappear. Human memory may fade. But God says: “I will never forget.” This Bible verse should make both the crafty businessman tremble and the oppressed person take comfort. God sees the "small" cheat. God cares about every detail; He's not like you at all. You may say, It's only a little cheating. But God says: A false balance is abomination to the LORD. The amount may be small, but the principle is enormous. Do not merely ask: How much did I steal? But ask: Did I knowingly act dishonestly?

God delights in Just weights. “A just weight is God's delight.” *God delights in Honesty.* God delights when: you tell the truth; you give someone what you promised; you charge fairly; you pay fairly; you measure honestly; you disclose what needs to be disclosed; you refuse dishonest profit; you correct an error that benefits you; you return money that isn't yours; you refuse to exploit another person's ignorance. God finds this very beautiful. Simply put: God wants you to love people more than money.  When money and another person's welfare come into conflict, the greedy heart says: How much can I get? The righteous heart says: What is right? The greedy heart says: How can I profit from this situation? The righteous heart says: How can I deal justly, fairly, mercifully? The greedy heart says: They'll never know. The righteous heart says: God sees and knows. The greedy heart says: I can get away with it. But Faith says: I must answer to God. 

Your daily business dealings with people are especially important to God. God cares about: your worship, your prayer, your Bible reading, your marriage, your speech, your work, your money, your purchases, your selling, your contracts, your treatment of employees, your treatment of customers, your private and public life. You cannot say: This is business; God doesn't apply here. But God does care. 

God wants you to be the same person in secret that you are in public. A dishonest person may appear righteous before people. But God's standard is: Maintain Integrity when nobody is watching. That is where your heart is truly tested. Ask yourself: Would I do this if no human being could ever discover it? If the answer is No, then ask: Why would I do it when God can see it? Do not Defraud your neighbor. Defraud not - Do not take something from another person by deception or unfair advantage. God wants you to see the other person not merely as: a customer, a buyer, a seller, an employee, a competitor, or a source of money, but as a *human being made by God.* Don't just look at a person and see a wallet or bank account. God wants you to see a Soul. 

A Christian should not ask: What's the minimum honesty required so I don't get caught? The Christian should ask: What would love require of me? Jesus summarized the entire moral Law in one sentence: Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. Therefore: Don't do to another person what you would hate for them to do to you. If you were buying a car, would you want the seller to hide a defect? Then don't hide it when you're selling. If you were the customer, would you want the seller to manipulate you? Then don't manipulate your customer. If you were the employee, would you want your employer to withhold your rightful wages? Then don't withhold what belongs to your employee. This is the **Golden Rule applied to money.**

Before a business transaction, always ask: Can I thank God for this transaction? Can I tell the truth about every part of it? Am I taking advantage of this person's ignorance? Am I hiding anything important because revealing it would reduce my profit? Would I be comfortable if this transaction were completely exposed? Am I loving my neighbor, or merely extracting money from him? If Jesus stood visibly beside me, would I be ashamed of what I am doing? But Jesus does see.

The Bible exposes **the human heart**. The dishonest scale says: I want more than is rightfully mine. The false balance says: I will make the rules serve me. The greedy merchant says: Your loss is my gain. The covetous heart says: I am not satisfied with what God has given me. The righteous heart says: God has given me enough to obey Him. And this is where the Gospel comes in. The Law does not merely teach you how to become a better businessman. The Law reveals **sin in the heart**. The Law shows you that Sin is not merely something you occasionally do. The Law reveals the deeper problem: The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked (Jeremiah 17:9). Don't just try harder to be honest. You need a regenerated transformed heart from the Holy Spirit. You need Christ Himself, Repentance, and Remission and Forgiveness of Sins. You need the Holy Spirit to make you a lover of righteousness and mercy rather than a lover of greedy gain.

In a Nutshell: Do not cheat, do not deal falsely, do not lie, do not deceive/exploit the needy, do not take advantage of the weak, do not love money more than Souls, do not use your knowledge to harm someone who trusts you, do not have one standard for yourself and another for others, give people what you promised. Pay people what you owe them, measure fairly, price honestly, speak truthfully, keep your word, and remember God sees and never forgets. 

Do not go beyond and defraud your brother in any matter, because the The Lord is the Avenger of all such. God always sees and knows and remembers. Don't cheat anyone: Never trick, steal from, or take advantage of other people in any deal or trade. God is not mocked; He sees everything and will step in to punish those who cheat others. Be honest: Always tell the truth, pay workers right away when they earn their money, and never use trickery, fake measurements, or rigged scales to steal a little extra from your neighbor. God hates dishonesty: Using fake weights or dishonest tricks to get ahead makes God very angry, but being completely honest and fair makes Him happy. Greed hurts people: Being selfish and greedy to get rich quick destroys your own family and life, and God promises He will never forget the evil things done to poor or needy people who are taken advantage of. 

DEAD OR ALIVE!

According to the Holy Scriptures in the King James Bible, every unregenerate (unsaved) soul is spiritually dead inside and under the wrath of God (John 3:36; Ephesians 2:1); this is the true spiritual reality of the soul without Christ. A lost soul can be active intellectually and emotionally, but is without God in the world, and alienated from the Life of God (Christ Jesus Himself). A soul can be mentally vibrant, morally good in his own eyes, pursuing worldly pleasures, doing sincerely religious dead works, highly successful in this world, yet be completely unresponsive to God. The soul is cut off from the presence of God yet still physically alive—a spiritual corpse walking through life with no inner relationship with Christ.

Just as a physically dead corpse with no breath or pulse cannot make itself alive and cannot pull itself out of the coffin, an unsaved dead soul has zero ability to generate/translate itself into eternal life and salvation. Only the Holy Spirit can **quicken** (make alive) the dead soul, and give them spiritual ears to hear and a heart to truly believe on Christ. Salvation is not self-help; salvation is *Regeneration* and resurrection inwardly from the Holy Ghost Himself. *Regeneration* is the Spirit of God giving you spiritual life—a conscience and soul with the ability to know, love, and communicate with God the Father. The call of the Gospel is to arise from the dead, from the graveyard to the land of the living. Renounce your dead works that are leading you into worse darkness. Dead works are conviction checklists based on self-effort, slavish fear, guilt, religious rituals, and self-reformation done by the dead soul trying to establish their own righteousness (Romans 10:3). The Soul doing the works is dead, so the works themselves are "dead" (Hebrews 9:14). True conversion to Christ is Repentance from your own dead works; Simply stop trying to save yourself through dead religiousness, and receive Christ Himself inwardly by faith in His PRECIOUS BLOOD.

To truly Perceive why your dead soul cannot save itself and why you must flee to Christ, The Spirit of God must Quicken you with His Divine Power. 
**Substitution:** You are helpless, guilty, and dead in trespasses and sins, but Christ stepped directly into your legal and spiritual place. He took your exact punishment due to your sins; He was treated as if He were the transgressor so that you, the actual transgressor, could be treated as if you were perfectly righteous. He bore the full condemnation that rightfully belonged to your account.
**Atonement:** The immense divine chasm caused by your rebellion required an infinite satisfaction. Through the shedding of JESUS' precious blood upon the cross, Christ offered the complete, unalterable, and eternal payment for your sins. His sufferings perfectly satisfied the offended holiness of God, bridging the chasm between th holy Creator and the wicked rebel, so that peace is fully established. Mohammed, Buddha, Dali Lama, or Joseph Smith never died for your most disgusting Sins, that you've committed against God in private: But Now ONCE in the end of the world hath JESUS appeared to PUT AWAY Sin by the Sacrifice of HIMSELF (Hebrews 9:26).

**Remission** Because the debt has been fully paid by the Substitute (The Lamb of God), God cancels the charges against you. **Remission** is the literal putting away of your sins and the taking away of your guilt. Your sins—past, present, and future—are blotted out of the book of God's remembrance, never to be brought up against you again.
**Propitiation** God's holy and righteous wrath burns against your sins, but Christ absorbed that burning wrath into His own body on THE TREE when He bore your sins. JESUS became the **Propitiation**—the satisfying sinless Sacrifice—turning away the fiery indignation of God by suffering your damnation and eternal death penalty. God's justice is fully appeased, allowing His mercy to flow freely to the believer, for JESUS' SAKE.
**Imputation** In a divine exchange of infinite grace, your sins can be **imputed** (charged, reckoned, or credited) to Christ’s account at Calvary, and in turn, His spotless, perfect, divine righteousness can be **imputed** to your Soul. With Christ's RIghteousness, you stand before God clothed not in the filthy rags of our own dead works, but in the Perfect Righteousness of the Son of God.
**Regeneration** Because we are spiritually dead corpses in the graveyard of sin, we cannot awaken ourselves. **Regeneration** is the sovereign, life-giving work of the Holy Spirit where He breathes eternal life into the dead soul, imparting a new heart, spiritual eyes to see, and ears to hear, enabling the sinner to repent and cast themselves entirely upon Christ.
**Come to Christ Now** Your very best attempts at being "good and better" can never erase even one of your sins.
