A Little Help 5

Abide in Christ. Knee-ology is needed, not just theology. Piety and purity must begin within. While I live, I will boast in the Lamb. With the King for His work. As the day lengthens, the cold strengthens. Love the Bible, prayerfully read it, diligently search it, humbly study it, practically apply it, faithfully do it. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift. Keep to the Savior’s heels. Abound in good works, but never trust them. Abhor your sins, adore the Savior.  Let us have grace.  Christ Jesus is all – stick to that – add nothing to it.  The Lord is my portion; He satisfied my soul's hunger.  The more haste, the less speed.  He does twice who does quickly.

Cease not to give thanks.  Be ye thankful.  Remain humble, helpful and thankful.  No sweat, no sweet; no pain, no gain; no mill, no meal; no cross, no crown. Exalt the Lamb of God. Be ye thankful.
The neighborhood, the community, the town, the region, the world for Jesus.  Every thought of throbbing brain, every affection of beating heart, every movement of cunning hand, all should be for Jesus at its best, and kept well at work for His royal service. Keep close to Jesus, and do as He did, in His Spirit. All for Jesus, and for Jesus only.  With Christ anywhere, without Christ, nowhere.  One volunteer is worth more than twenty pressed men.  The Spirit of God moved.  Keep thy heart with all diligence.

It’s never too soon to pray, and it’s never too late to pray.  Exhort one another daily.  They run hard and fast whom the devil drives.  The Great Physician cuts deeply, but He heals completely.  Make Christ Himself your master passion. Follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth. A little pot is soon hot.  Prompt and sincere in the work of the Lord.  There’s many a slip between tongue and lip.  The tongue will always tattle on the condition of your heart.  Don’t slander, demean, belittle, or insult others. Heart right, words right.  Fresh confession, fresh repentance, fresh surrender, fresh control, fresh victory.
Remember the Savior.

Sincere repentance, helpless dependence, Gospel humility. Pardon, Purity, then Peace.  Holy Spirit – convincing, quickening, converting, regenerating, comforting, conforming, sanctifying renewing.  Humble, trustful confidence in Christ Jesus.  Authenticity, humility, integrity, sensitivity.  Humble adoring gratitude.  Thankfulness, gratitude, generosity.  Life is too short to waste it in sin and self.  Be careful for nothing, prayerful for everything, thankful for anything.  The savour of the Savior.  Beware of little sins, and you will not commit big sins. Where God is, nothing is lacking.  Glory to God in the highest.

One fool can ask more questions than fifty wise men can answer.  Drowning men catch at straws.  Don’t quarrel with your bread and butter.  Don’t let black birds build a nest in your hair.  The proof of the pudding is in the eating.  The road to hell is paved with good intentions.  When it comes to salvation, God helps those who cannot help themselves.  He who is his own lawyer has a fool for his client.  God says, Love me, love my children, love poor sinners.  The atheist says, You’re an evolutionary by-product, you’re not accountable to anyone, and nothing is a sin, anything goes, live to please yourself, every man for himself.

All for Jesus, none but Jesus. Straightforward makes the best runner.  Run straight to the Cross for shelter. Enough is as good as a feast. The liberal man gives till his hand sweats.  Life or death – Ready for either.  Semper Idem – always the same.  Yield your members to the Spirit of God.
Handsome is that handsome does. Those who wait for a dead man’s shoes are pretty sure to go barefoot.  Stand fast!  Stick to the Gospel.  He who gets the fruit must shake/climb the tree.

Fret not thyself in any wise to do evil.  Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity.  It is easy to find a stick to beat a dog; and it is easy to find something wrong with a sinner.  Short reckonings make long friends.  Be a quick forgiver.  There is nothing freer than a gift - Ephesians 2:8-9; Romans 6:23.  If you trust partly in Christ and partly in yourself, you will fall into Hell.  Get both of your feet planted firmly by faith on Christ Jesus. Genuine Repentance from Sins, and Real Faith in the Blood. Free Grace and Dying Love is the spirit of the Gospel.
