First Pure 4

Wisdom is only found in one place on this earth, and that is in the King James Bible. You buy a Bible to read it and apply it to your life daily thoughts and behavior, not just to display it. Human nature wants a means of grace, that doesn't convict and get rid of sin. The Bible goes after a man's sin to extinguish it. The only means of Grace is the word of God and the blood of Jesus Christ. *Romans 5:9; 10:17*

The Bible is to be read and applied every day, not just carried to church on Sunday. The Bible should be read from cover to cover just like any other book. The Bible is the only book in the world that doesn't have any errors in it. Educated religionists try to correct the Bible with their renderings from the Greek and Hebrew, but they should be letting the Bible correct them internally.  If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. The Bible never has to be edited, and it's never out of date.

The Bible doesn't need to be rewritten; it just needs to be re-read. The neglect and ignorance of the Bible in America is absolutely alarming. You should be memorizing the Bible every day (Psalm 119:11,130,140). The only Bible that people ever memorize is the King James Bible (AV1611). All the swiss cheese Bibles never get memorized. Happy is the man that findeth wisdom at the feet of Jesus Christ (Luke 10:38-42).

Wisdom is the departure from iniquity to purity, and the ability for a man to live out scriptural truth practically in his daily life by the power of the Holy Ghost.  Wisdom gives a man an excellent spirit, and a winsome personality. Wisdom makes a man glad that he is a Christian; and he lives by the joy of the LORD which is his strength.  Wisdom gives a man integrity (moral behavior) in public and private.  Character is what you are in the dark.  You are what you are, when you're all alone.  True wisdom from above makes a man consistent in his pattern of genuine godly living.  Wisdom leads a man to walk circumspectly and humbly with God before a watching world.

Think much about what the Bible says to you. Take the Bible and apply it personally. Look out! The Bible knows all about you. Human nature loves sin, and it tries to hide from God by feigning agnosticism and by using man-made religion, worldly philosophy and earthly wisdom to duck and dodge divine Truth (John 14:6; John 17:17; John 8:47). You may read other books, but the Bible is the only book that reads you. The atheist won't leave the Bible alone, because the Bible won't leave him alone. Pray to understand the Bible when you are studying it; only the Holy Spirit can enlighten us.

Unsaved men must have some credit for their own Salvation; they cannot understand the Bible - they are blind to spiritual truth. Put the Bible into practice as much as possible.  Be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only. You may be saved, but no one knows it but you.  Every day find some way to apply the Bible in your life practically. Discuss the Bible with someone every day. Publish the Bible any way you can. Be wise as serpents and harmless as doves in the midst of wolves. How good does a man have to be to satisfy divine justice?

Be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. You may be able to bench press 300 pounds, but do you have enough spiritual strength to pray, resist temptation, and overcome your sinful habits? Human weakness always precedes spiritual strength. Grace is spiritual strength from God. Temperance is the ability to restrain your carnal passions and lustful indulgences. Temperance only comes from the Holy Ghost (Galatians 5:23). We need strength from above, outside of ourselves, to overcome our sins by denying self daily (Luke 9:23). We must follow Jesus, and He will give us His Strength. Cry to the Strong for strength. If you want to quit doing wrong, you must spend time communing with the Holy Ghost (II Corinthians 13:14).

If you can't quit a particular sin, ask God for more grace and strength. The wisdom that is from above is FIRST PURE (James 3:17). True wisdom leads you first to seek Christ and His purity, and to depart from your sinful thought and habits. How can I do right, live pure, and please my God? Daily love, allegiance and loyalty to Christ and His words. True wisdom produces a pure heart, pure speech, and pure desires. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. All men are weak when it comes to quitting their sins, fearing God, doing right, and speaking up for Jesus Christ; ask Christ for His Strength. Whatever we love, we think about.

Christ is our Strength (II Samuel 22:33; Psalm 19:14; Psalm 28:7; Psalm 138:3). Be strong in the Lord, and in the power of His might. O God, strengthen my heart and my hands according to Thy word. Wisdom is knowing when to be afraid. Be afraid of sinning against God. *Genesis 39:7-15* Get upset about the things that God gets upset about; pay attention to the way God thinks and the way God feels about things. He that getteth wisdom loveth his own soul.

Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: and with all thy getting get understanding. Ask yourself these questions: Would a wise man be doing this, keeping this kind of company, spending money this way, going to these places, talking like this, watching this on the internet?  Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end. Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

The fear of man bringeth a snare: but whoso putteth his trust in the LORD shall be safe. Fight the good fight of faith. Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of Grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find Grace to help in time of need. Strive lawfully; do things the right way; be a straight shooter. Be strengthened with might by His Spirit in the inner man. Get wisdom, get understanding: forget it not; neither decline from the words of God's mouth. He that hearkeneth unto counsel is wise. Be strong in faith, giving glory to God. Every day your habits are forming what you will be in the future. Every thing you do matters.

A man of understanding shall attain unto wise counsels. With the lowly is wisdom. He that walketh with wise men shall be wise. If you don't win fair, you don't win at all. It's a privilege and honor to serve the Lord Jesus Christ, the only wise God. Spend much time considering Jesus Christ - His person, His name, His words, and His Precious Blood. Whoso loveth wisdom rejoiceth his father. He that refraineth his lips is wise. He that winneth souls is wise. The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: but fools despise wisdom and instruction. Consider your ways; be a blessing, not a burden; be a help, not a hindrance; give, don't just take.

Serve the Lord Jesus Christ with a perfect heart and with a willing mind: for the LORD searcheth all hearts, and understandeth all the imaginations of the thoughts. Remember Christ is risen from the dead. Remember God's promises. It is a miserable thing for a child to be out of fellowship with his parents. The most important thing for a Christian to do is to stay in fellowship with Jesus Christ. The LORD giveth wisdom: out of His mouth (The Bible) cometh knowledge and understanding.

Time is fleeting, passing you by; Death is inevitable and imminent; Reality is drawing nigh. Stop loving  your sins and toying with your immortal soul. Time and death appeal to you today. Life is so short, and when it's over, you can nevermore return. You will soon meet with Eternity. You need to be concerned about your soul's eternal safety. Heaven and Hell are weighty matters. Stop wasting your life and sinning your years away. Christ Jesus bids you to come to the Cross without delay; the Gospel declares that He did all that was necessary to save lost sinners. Stop spurning the Savior's bleeding love.  He is earnestly pleading with you now. The day of salvation and mercy will soon be over for you. Judgment is coming, divine justice is awaiting you, so flee from the wrath to come.

Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. If you die in your sins, eternal vengeance you must face, and all Mercy will be gone. Acknowledge your sinfulness before God; simply accept Christ as your Sin-Bearer.  Christ died for the ungodly; Trust Him who loved you to death. Look up to Heaven and ask God to have mercy on your soul for Jesus' sake. You must be born again from above; the Holy Ghost must do the work; there is nothing here on this earth that can help your poor dead soul. *John 3:7; Ephesians 2:1* Only the Holy Ghost can convince you of your danger, inability and sinful condition. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. The Blood of Jesus is the only means whereby you can be rescued from Divine Justice, and made fit for God's presence. The Holy Ghost must first bring you to the end of yourself. Where the sinner's self-righteousness ends, the Savior begins. Be wise now - By faith, hang helplessly upon the Savior's mercy and blood, as a cup hangs on a nail. Whosoever believeth in Jesus *hath* everlasting life.
