There shall come out of Sion The Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. Return, O Lord, deliver my soul: oh save me for Thy mercies' sake. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my Deliverer; my God, my strength, in Whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me. They cried unto thee, and were delivered: they trusted in Thee, and were not confounded. Deliver me in Thy righteousness. I sought the Lord, and He heard me, and delivered me from all my fears. Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the Lord delivereth him out of them all. Be pleased, O Lord, to deliver me: O Lord, make haste to help me. But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: Thou art my help and my Deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God. Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble.
Deliver me from bloodguiltiness, O God, Thou God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of Thy righteousness. For He shall deliver the needy when he crieth; the poor also, and him that hath no helper. Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Thy name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for Thy name's sake. For great is Thy mercy toward me: and Thou hast delivered my soul from the lowest hell. He sent His word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions. Then called I upon the name of the Lord; O Lord, I beseech thee, deliver my soul. Let my supplication come before Thee: deliver me according to Thy word. Deliver me, O Lord, from mine enemies: I flee unto Thee to hide me. My goodness, and my fortress; my high tower, and my Deliverer; my shield, and He in whom I trust. Treasures of wickedness profit nothing: but righteousness delivereth from death. Riches profit not in the day of wrath: but righteousness delivereth from death.
There shall come out of Sion The Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob. Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. He that spared not His own Son, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall He not with HIM also freely give us all things? Who delivered us from so great a death, and doth deliver: in Whom we trust that He will yet deliver us. Who gave Himself for our sins, that HE might deliver us from this present evil world. Who hath delivered us from the power of darkness, and hath translated us into the kingdom of His dear Son. To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins. And to wait for His Son from heaven, Whom He raised from the dead, even Jesus, which delivered us from the wrath to come. And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death? But now we are delivered from the law, that being dead wherein we were held; that we should serve in newness of spirit, and not in the oldness of the letter.
