THE WORLD TO COME

And whosoever speaketh a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whosoever speaketh against the Holy Ghost, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come. Verily I say unto you, I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

But he shall receive an hundredfold now in this time, houses, and brethren, and sisters, and mothers, and children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the world to come eternal life. There is no man that hath left house, or parents, or brethren, or wife, or children, for the kingdom of God's sake, Who shall not receive manifold more in this present time, and in the world to come life everlasting. Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.

Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that His hour was come that He should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own which were in the world, He loved them unto the end. I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father. Far above all principality, and power, and might, and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. For unto the angels hath he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak. And have tasted the good word of God, and the powers of the world to come

That in the ages to come He might shew the exceeding riches of His grace in his kindness toward us through Christ Jesus. Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come

Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. Whether Paul, or Apollos, or Cephas, or the world, or life, or death, or things present, or things to come; all are your's. For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
