The Blood *Is* Enough

The divine Law of God reveals our wickedness and makes us conscious of our sins against God. *Romans 3:20* By nature we are God's enemies, we cannot keep his Law, because we have an evil inward nature called Sin.  We are so evil that God had to become a Jewish man and bleed and die in our place to pay the price of our sins. *I Timothy 3:16* The Law reveals our need of the Savior, and then leads us to Him.  *Galatians 3:24* We are guilty because we have offended God by transgressing against light and knowledge.  We are outlaws in God's sight.  Jesus obeyed the Law perfectly, and then took the place of us lawbreakers.  God saves sinners only by Substitution.  Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. *John 1:29* Human nature arrogantly thinks it can make itself acceptable with a holy God by its own endeavors and self-reformation. *Romans 10:3*

Now understand, listen closely - There's a Way back to God (John 14:6), from the dark paths of sin; there's a Door that is open (John 10:9) that you may go in. At Calvary's Cross, that's where you begin, when you come as a sinner to Jesus. *Colossians 1:20* Only Jesus the Great Mediator and Perfect Ransom can make your Peace with God.  Jesus is the Prince of Peace, He makes peace between sinners and God. *I Timothy 2:4-6* Jesus is the only Savior from the sins you have committed all of your life.

When you come face to face with your sins that the Law has revealed to you, you finally realize that you do not love God with all your heart, that you do have idols in your life, that you don't always tell the truth, and that you are in desperate need of the Savior.  *John 4:42; I John 4:14* God only saves sinners by Substitution. God saves the guilty sinner, because an Innocent Person died in his place. *I Peter 2:24* Your sins truly deserve the eternal Judgment and Wrath of God.  Ask the Holy Spirit to give you Repentance, so you can truly turn your face from your sins to God and simply trust in His Son, Jesus Christ the Lord. *II Timothy 2:25* Trusting in Jesus' finished work is the safest and best way of living in this world.  Seek Christ Jesus Himself first, above everything else in life.

You must come to the end of yourself.  Never, never look to yourself.  Never try to hide in your own good deeds, but rather hide in what Another has done for you. Make this your only confidence - I need no other Sacrifice, I need no other plea, it is enough that Jesus bled and died, and that He bled and died for me.  Upon a life I did not live, upon a death I did not die; upon Another's sinless life, upon Another's bloody death, I stake my whole Eternity.  God has made an Atonement for all my sins in the person and blood of Jesus of Nazareth.  It is only through the Precious Blood of the Cross that God pardons the ungodly. *Colossians 1:14*

Every sinner on the face of the earth must be saved by Precious Blood. *Romans 5:9* It is by the Finished Work of the Cross that God satisfies His own divine justice by executing the punishment which our sins deserved upon Jesus. *II Corinthians 5:21* The Precious Atoning Blood of Jesus is enough to save my soul from my sins for all Eternity.  If you continue to trust in your own righteousness, you will go away from Jesus sad and sinful. You don't have to do anything to earn eternal life.  Eternal Life is a Free Gift from God. *Romans 6:23* Your wisest course is trust only to Jesus' wounds and words. Jesus' Blood is now presently available for you to trust to, come now, humbly and contritely ask the Holy Spirit to apply the Atoning Blood to your soul and wash your sins away.
