Go straight to God as a lost undone soul, and cry out for mercy through the Precious Blood of Christ Jesus. Jesus is available and listening for the cries of lost sinners 24/7/366. *Romans 10:13* For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Come you to Jesus now. Lay down at His feet. Come and take everything first from the Crucified Creator. Beware of second-hand religion.
Human nature prefers worldly gain to godliness, and worldly pleasures to personal holiness. Men want civilization, education, technology, art, progress, and religion, but not the new birth, divine nature, the inner life of godliness, or real fruits unto righteousness. The New Birth changes blasphemy to praise, vice to holiness, profanity to purity, falsehood to truth, pride to lowliness. Jesus saves us from hypocrisy, falsehood, love of sin, guile, and guilt. The main reason why men refuse to come to Christ is because they are practicing some secret evil. Doubts come from a moral and spiritual problem. If there's something rotten in the heart, there will be something rotten in the head.
Men hate the Bible, for human nature loves sin and is innately self-righteous. Man's sinful heart is pitted against the pure truths of Scripture. The Bible tells you how bad you are, and that you cannot save yourself. Self-righteous human nature resents that, because it wants to be self-sufficient. Man wants to be his own god, he worships and adores himself. Man thinks he doesn't have to listen to his Maker, and that he has a right to live his own life his own way. Man wants to earn his own salvation. You'll go to Heaven only because God is so good, not because you are good. God was so good that He gave His only begotten Son to bear your sins, and then bleed and die in your place, so you could be freely saved by grace through faith in His atoning blood.
Study the Bible, the Blood Atonement, the Judgment and wrath to come. Naturally a man doesn't like the truth which doesn't like his sins. The truth that condemns him, he tries to condemn. A pure truth makes a lost man uneasy in his sin, so he doubts and defies it. Human nature chooses to believe something it has concocted and make a pillow with it for its guilty head. Evil men seek other evil men to be their companions that will agree with their rejection of the Bible and Christ.
In Christ's Blood, there is full Atonement, great Sacrifice, vindication of the Law. Put all your trust in Jesus immediately. Receive the Atonement and with it peace with God, justification by Faith, and the free Forgiveness of sins. God is my Hope and His Grace my glory. I accept and rest fully on His Atonement in Christ. God cannot save a guilty sinner without an Atonement; He cannot put away sins without being strictly just. God can by no means spare the guilty, so He laid on Christ the punishment which was due to all human sins, that He might be Just and the Justifier of him that believeth in Jesus.
The Righteousness which saves a sinful man is the Righteousness of God, not your own righteousness. There is no such thing as human righteousness, those two words contradict each other. Any righteousness that you could gain by your own works is only filthy rags at its best. We have no personal merit; we must be justified by an imputed Righteousness that is given to us freely by faith for Jesus' sake. Make mention only of the Righteousness of Christ Jesus. Wretched human nature proudly rebels against the free salvation of Christ. It will not hear of imputed righteousness, for its own righteousness is most dear.
The LORD hath laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all. He was made to be Sin for us, who knew no sin. Imputation is a great mystery, the transference of the sin of man and of the merits of Christ. Imputation staggers human reason, faith alone apprehends Christ and His free salvation. Through the miracle called Imputation, the guilty one is accounted Righteous for Jesus' sake.. And Jesus, the perfectly Righteous One, was made to be sin, bears our sins and its punishment.
Study much about original Sin, the Incarnation, the Blood Atonement, and the New Birth. If you are not saved from your sins, you will be cast into Hell forever. Jesus' Blood has satisfied God's wrath for me. If you reject Christ, you will lose eternal life, the free pardon of sin, reconciliation to God, and adoption into the family of Love - these are heavy losses. Lose what you will, but don't lost your soul by neglecting Christ's divine Remedy for sins - His own Blood. If you don't come to Christ by trusting Him, that will be the greatest insult that you could put upon your Maker. You have already grieved Him greatly by breaking His laws, but now you refuse His mercy by turning your back on His Son. This is turning your back on your own Redemption.
Reconciliation, Redemption, Justification, access, eternal life, pardon, acceptance through childlike trust in the Precious Blood. Only in Christ can you draw nigh to God. Never attempt to approach JEHOVAH, a consuming fire, except through the blood of the Incarnate God. Fix your faith upon Jesus whom God has set forth to be the Propitiation for human sins. Only come to God in God's own way, for He will not receive you any other way. *John 14:6* Jesus is the only Way to God. The Reconciliation completed by Christ is absolutely Perfect.
The words of God continually checks our carnal confidence and disturbs our self-satisfaction. You've had an earthly birth, but now you need a heavenly birth. *John 3:7* Men think they are good enough, proudly independent of the grace of God. They need not cry out for mercy. Let your cry go up to the Mediator. Then expect a blessing from God, through Christ, by the Holy Ghost. Hate sins, repent, believe and trust on Christ Himself, submit to His Righteousness, surrender to His will, follow and glorify Him. Entreat the Lord for mercy at once. Be wise - cry to God for help, cry for the Holy Spirit to enable you to lay hold on eternal life, and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ for immediate salvation. Trust Jesus with your soul now. He is always saving needy sinners around the globe 24/7/366.
You cannot help save yourself, Christ is the Savior, it is His business to save sinners. It is wisest of all to trust Jesus' atoning blood at once. Cry to Jesus for pardon and He will answer you with His free Forgiveness. Breath a prayer to Him now. Look to Jesus with the eye of Faith at once. The sin is there on your soul, then the sin is gone, the dead soul lives, the lost soul is saved.
Accept the humbling terms of scriptural eternal salvation by grace alone through faith alone in Jesus' blood alone. The plain Gospel of salvation by grace through simple faith in Jesus Christ. There is no man on earth who is worthy of God's mercy. Free forgiveness, gracious acceptance, full justification for Jesus' sake. Mercy is not for good folks. The claim of the meritorious is justice, not for mercy. The guilty really need and seek Mercy, and only they. God gives His grace only where it cannot be deserved. God's free gift of salvation cannot be earned by human efforts. *Ephesians 2:8-9* God delights to forgive where there is no reason for forgiveness, but His own goodness' sake. You need mercy and Jesus is Mercy Incarnate. He is just the Savior for you, because He died especially for your sins. Believe in Him now, and the Mercy of God is yours instantly. The ruined, the guilty, the unworthy are welcome at the Cross 24/7/366.
The atheist's happiness lies in his thoughtlessness and carelessness. The atheist is deluded with evil pride. With a laugh and a joke, he puts off serious things until tomorrow. The atheist takes pleasure in uncleanness and darkness. *John 3:19-20* Sin strives to keep you under its bondage, tyranny and dread sway, and sin strives to work your eternal ruin. Mercy can only be shown to the guilty, grace to the ungodly. God's way of saving the guilty is by the Lamb of God's Finished Work on Calvary's Cross. Jesus was crucified for the guilty, at once look to Him for His free and full salvation. Jesus paid your full Ransom from sin on Calvary with His own Blood.
Cry to the Holy Spirit for guidance and discernment. Sigh and cry for lost souls. Cry out for the living God. Give thanks to the Giver 24/7/366. Cry to God to give you an intenser love for His Son, and to help you in overcoming your besetting sins. Those who fear they are mistaken are seldom mistaken. Be afraid of yourself. Allow the word of God to search and know you. Weep and sigh in secret for your sins, pray in secret for grace to overcome sins. Seek after holiness, trust alone to Jesus for more purity. Secret life of piety, vital union to Christ. Prove your faith by holiness at home, by godliness at work, by sincerity at church.
Lean solely and alone upon heavenly Grace which we must receive hour by hour. We continually need the heavenly download of mercy and grace. We need more of Jesus' presence. Cry for Him. Fear grieving the Holy Spirit. Keep Christ in your eye. Follow the crucified and risen Savior. Trust Him, rely upon Him, follow Him, receive the Prince of life, the Prince of peace. Cry to God for more Grace 24/7/366 lest you be hardened by the deceitfulness of your sins.
The Holy Ghost is the power you need to conquer sinful habits. Get your godliness directly from Heaven by your personal dealings with the living Savior. Profess only what you possess, rest only in that which has given to you from above. Sobriety, piety, industry, thrift, diligence, godliness, love to God, submission to Jesus, joy in the Holy Ghost is vital to spiritual growth. Renounce all sinful pleasures and utterly despise them. Patience under adversity, poor put perfectly content, sick yet cheerful, afflicted but joyful. Happily resigned to God's providence, death joys not death throes. Hope in Christ, communion with God, delight in the truth revealed in the Holy Scriptures. Always cry for the Heavenly Wind to blow. *John 3:8*
