The INCREASE of God

* For who maketh thee to differ from another? and what hast thou that thou didst not receive? now if thou didst receive it, why dost thou glory, as if thou hadst not received it? Stop your strutting, and walk humbly. And of His fulness have all we received, and grace for grace. A man can receive nothing, except it be given him from heaven.

* Your glorying is not good. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Be not wise in your own conceits. And if any man think that he knoweth any thing, he knoweth nothing yet as he ought to know.

* No man can come unto Me, except it were given him of my Father. According as God hath dealt to every man the measure of Faith. But unto every one of us is given Grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. For it is God which worketh in you to will and to do of His good pleasure. Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights. As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another. And I will make thy seed to multiply as the stars of heaven. And the vessel that He made of clay was marred in the hand of the Potter: so He made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the Potter to make it.

* And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred. And the apostles said unto the Lord, Increase our faith. He must increase, but I must decrease. But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. The things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel.

* But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ. I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry. And so were the churches established in the Faith, and increased in number daily. I have planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. So then neither is he that planteth any thing, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase. He that abideth in ME, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without ME ye can do nothing. For by Me thy days shall be multiplied, and the years of thy life shall be increased. And have no confidence in the flesh. It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing

* But by the grace of God I am what I am: and His grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain; but I laboured more abundantly than they all: yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me. Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God. And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. Wherein He hath abounded toward us in all Wisdom and Prudence. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. But grow in Grace. According to the gift of the Grace of God given unto me by the effectual working of His power. As to the Lord.

* For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it. The race is not to the swift, nor the battle to the strong, neither yet bread to the wise, nor yet riches to men of understanding, nor yet favour to men of skill. Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches. For if a man think himself to be something, when he is nothing, he deceiveth himself.

* God also to the Gentiles granted Repentance unto life. God opened the door of Faith unto the Gentiles. Lydia whose heart the Lord opened. Then opened He their understanding, that they might understand the Scriptures. They declared all that God had done with them. Paul declared particularly what things God had wrought among the Gentiles by his ministry. In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord.

* For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance. But the word of God is not bound. But the word of God grew and multiplied. So mightily grew the word of God and prevailed. And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem greatly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith. That the word of the Lord have free course, and be glorified. That in all things He might have the preeminence.

* Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness. Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly, And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord. Always abounding in the work of the Lord.

* From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love. That ye might walk worthy of the Lord unto all pleasing, being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God. And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God

* He giveth power to the faint; and to them that have no might he increaseth strength. And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another, and toward all men, even as we do toward you. And indeed ye do it toward all the brethren which are in all Macedonia: but we beseech you, brethren, that ye increase more and more.

* He increaseth the nations, and destroyeth them: He enlargeth the nations, and straiteneth them again. Of the increase of His government and peace there shall be no end, upon the throne of David, and upon His kingdom, to order it, and to establish it with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.
