His Good Pleasure

And now, behold, we are in Thine hand: as it seemeth good and right unto Thee to do unto us, do. And the children of Israel said unto the Lord, We have sinned: do Thou unto us whatsoever seemeth good unto Thee; deliver us only, we pray thee, this day. And Samuel told Eli every whit, and hid nothing from him. And he said, It is the Lord: let him do what seemeth Him good.

Be of good courage, and let us play the men for our people, and for the cities of our God: and the Lord do that which seemeth Him good. Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the Lord do that which is good in His sight.

And the king said unto Zadok, Carry back the ark of God into the city: if I shall find favour in the eyes of the Lord, he will bring me again, and shew me both it, and his habitation: But if he thus say, I have no delight in thee; behold, here am I, let Him do to me as seemeth good unto Him.

And Araunah said unto David, Let my lord the king take and offer up what seemeth good unto him: behold, here be oxen for burnt sacrifice, and threshing instruments and other instruments of the oxen for wood.

Do good in Thy good pleasure unto Zion: build Thou the walls of Jerusalem. Thou maintainest my lot.

And the vessel that he made of clay was marred in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Thy sight. Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. For it seemed good to the Holy Ghost, and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things. For it pleased the Father that in Jesus should all fulness dwell.

Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of His goodness, and the work of faith with power.

Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you that which is wellpleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to Whom be glory for ever and ever. Amen. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of Him, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

Father, Glorify Thy Son!
Father, Glorify Thy Name!
Glorify God For His MERCY!
