Your best birthday is when you are born again - the New Birth. Scripture is the best defender of Scripture. The best time to trust to Jesus' Blood is always right now. A tender heart is the best defense against sin and the best preparation for Heaven. Most times the best prayers are sighs and groans. The best delight is in the Lord and His word. Your sinfulness and misery is your best argument for God's Mercy. The best hope is that Jesus is coming again. The best way to die is in Christ, for then you will be with Christ, which is far better.
