Every man in the world has sinned against the infinitely holy God that created them. God cannot tolerate human sin. God doesn’t wink at sin. God is infinitely just and holy. When God wanted to save a sinner; God Himself could only find one way to do it. Man’s sin debt had to be paid for by Someone who had sinless blood. God sent His dear Son to die for sinners at the Cross; God Himself became a Jewish man in the person of Jesus of Nazareth and died for His enemies, so that God’s infinite holiness and justice could be satisfied. You can only meet your holy Creator and make peace with Him at the Cross of Christ underneath Jesus' blood.
The man that doesn’t believe in Hell, and says there is no Hell, and that I'm too good to go to Hell, is the very man that deserves Hell fire the most. The skeletons of your past sins are rattling in the closet of your conscience every day. Your Sin is as black as a slice out of midnight, and your Sin is as bad as hell itself. You have a little piece of Hell in your heart - it's called Sin. You have committed all your sins in God’s sight; you've sinned all your life in God's presence as God looked right at you. The eyes of your mother or wife may not have seen you, but God saw you. Everything you’ve ever done, every impure thought that ever crawled across your filthy mind, and every unclean passion that ever moved your vile heart, God Almighty has saw it all. God is holy, and He hates your sin. God sees you right now, He’s looking down on you all the time. You might trick your mom, or spouse, or your friends, but not God. God knows all about you, He exactly knows when you’ve sinned, why you’ve sinned, where you’ve sinned, and how you’ve sinned. You may fool everyone else, but not a holy God.
There’s something bad wrong with you: you’re a sinner. No man can have success in this world until he first wakes up to the fact that he's an absolute failure. No man can go to heaven until he realizes he’s going to hell. No man can turn around without stopping. You don’t have to go a psychiatrist or college to figure out what’s wrong with you. You won’t ever evolve into anything that’s better, that's for sure. You must face the fact that you’ve sinned against God. Any man in this world that lives like he wants to live will live a bad life every time. If you live your own life your own way, you’ll go straight to Hell when you die.
There’s not one thing in the Holy Bible that says anything good about you. The Flesh (sinful human nature) in the Bible sense is what you are unregenerated; the Flesh is raw Christ-rejecting human nature; the Flesh is what you are naturally, dead in your sins; The Flesh will always lead you away from God, and into the ditch of depravity. You’re a sinner, and that’s all there is to it. Sin is a destructive and damning thing. You can’t trust yourself. No restraint, no discipline, no restrictions, that's the natural man's way. The old Adamic nature’s pull and tendency is downward. You need the forgiveness, mercy, help, cleansing, freedom, and purity that comes from the shed blood of the Son of God. You’re just not right; you have evil propensities and tendencies away from God. You can’t save yourself from your sins. Human nature will always try to find excuses for its favorite sins. Never excuse yourself from sinning against God.
God’s standard is a standard of a sinless life. God never lets anyone get away with his sins. No man ever won doing wrong, and no man ever lost doing right. The Bible never condones sin. God knows all about you. You do what you do, because you are what you are. You need God’s divine grace in order to quit your sinning. Only Jesus can comb the rats out of the hair of your character. You will remain to be wretched and miserable about your sinful past until Jesus saves you. Don’t try to dodge and duck the Gospel and Jesus Christ. Religion will run you crazy, but Jesus Christ will give you a sound mind. Religion is the thing in which human nature endeavors to rely upon for salvation from human sin and guilt.
You need a right relationship to Jesus Christ. Sin will drive you insane, if you don’t watch it. All your sins are against God first; that is the most terrible thing about human sin, it's an attack on God's person. Man is naturally wrong. Human nature is filled with sordid ambition, sinful impulses, an arrogant strut, and degenerate delusion. The whole human race was born in sin. The New Birth is absolutely necessary in order for you to escape from your sinful nature. Come out of the darkness of yourself and into the Light of Jesus Christ. If you haven’t been born again, you’re a hopelessly lost sinner. There is nothing good in you at all. Only a new creature will satisfy God. It’s terrible thing to be a sinner. You’ve let sin have the right of way and reign in your life, sin has degraded you, and it will soon damn you forever. There’s something wrong with you naturally. You need the life and righteousness of Jesus Christ imparted to your soul by the New Birth through the Blood of Christ.
Life is uncertain, time is short, Eternity is forever. You can’t know you are saved apart from the word of God. I’d rather have the promises of the word of God than my feelings. Only Jesus has the power to straighten out a sinner. Live very close to Jesus. Every sinner without Christ is a slave to his sin, ambition, passion, appetites, lust, greed, and pride. A Christian is free to do as he pleases, but he'll always desire first to please God, and not himself. Every man in the will of God is content. The purer you are, the more you'll hate sin. Purity makes you intolerant toward sin. Flee youthful lusts, don’t expose yourself to worldly lust.
God never told a lost man not to love the world, it’s in his nature to love the world. The more money you get, the more miserable you get. Look to your soul, not just your body. Look to and live for Eternity, not just time. God says what He means, and means what He says. Unbelief makes you think lightly of Christ. Man is a failure, he always has been. Atheists are chesty, strutting around sticking out his chest, he thinks he’s smart, but he’s going to die, no atheist ever whipped death, so he’s not so smart after all. The wages of sin is always death, and only Jesus Christ whipped death, and rose from the dead.
