But made His own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock. So He fed them according to the integrity of His heart; and guided them by the skilfulness of His hands.
A good man sheweth favour, and lendeth: he will guide his affairs with discretion. The integrity of the upright shall guide them: but the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them. Hear thou, my son, and be wise, and guide thine heart in the way. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths.
I being in the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master's brethren. And He led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. And thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His commandments, or no. Moreover Thou leddest them in the day by a cloudy pillar; and in the night by a pillar of fire, to give them light in the way wherein they should go. And He led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun smite them: for the LORD that hath mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall He guide them. And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not. And they thirsted not when He led them through the deserts: He caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: He clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out. For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace.
O that my ways were directed to keep Thy statutes! Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you. And the Lord direct your hearts into the love of God, and into the patient waiting for Christ.
And Jesus being full of the Holy Ghost returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit into the wilderness. To give light to them that sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace. Howbeit when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth: for He shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever He shall hear, that shall He speak: and He will shew you things to come.
Always remain guidable.
And Philip ran thither to him, and heard him read the prophet Esaias, and said, Understandest thou what thou readiest? And he said, How can I, except some man should guide me? And he desired Philip that he would come up and sit with him. The place of the scripture which he read was this, He was led as a sheep to the slaughter; and like a lamb dumb before His shearer, so opened He not His mouth: In His humiliation His judgment was taken away: and who shall declare His generation? for His life is taken from the earth. And the eunuch answered Philip, and said, I pray thee, of whom speaketh the prophet this? of himself, or of some other Man? Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
For as many as are led by the Spirit of God,
they are the sons of God.
Divine Guidance is most needful.
