I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall be continually in my mouth. Always take God’s side. Magnify God, exalt Christ, put down man. You can’t blame anyone for your sin but you. Be a good repenter, and truster in Jesus. Never condone, cover up, justify, or defend your sin; that is wrong. Jesus gave His life and blood for your sins against God. Respond to the Gospel, make a move, do it now, be ye reconciled to God through simple faith in His Son's blood. If you are ever saved, God will have to do it all through the Lord Jesus Christ's atoning blood.
There’s no hope in material things. Our hope is in God. Don’t take your focus off God. Many people grow materially and religiously, but not spiritually. There's no more old rugged Christianity today, just soft comfortable religion. When you begin to take it easy, that's a dangerous place, something's bad going to happen, never lean upon your past achievements. The thing you look to for deliverance and help is your god. Jesus Christ must do all the saving. Don’t over emphasize Church-ianity. Jesus Christ is the only Savior and hope of this sinful world. The man that God keeps His eye on is worth most to your community. Fear God, hope in His mercy. You owe a great debt to the good people that fear God in America. You better keep your eye on God.
The man that preaches to the head has a different audience every time he preaches; but the man that preaches to the heart has the same audience every time he preaches. Men are all just alike when you get to their heart. Your main trouble is in your heart. Your heart has a strange guiding power. As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he. Every man under the sun is a sinner, he can’t save himself, Christ died for every sinner, sinners are only saved from the love of sin by trusting to Christ. Hearts were always warmed or convicted when and where Jesus was speaking. Get it clear now, there are no honest doubters of God's words. Whenever there is doubt, mark it down, there is secret sin. You do what you do, because you are what you are. What you do in a crisis, reveals what you are.
Men always stumble over the simplicity and purity of the Gospel. Men try to commercialize the Gospel to make a filthy buck off the Bible. The Gift of God can’t be bought or earned. Every man has to get the Grace of God the same way – millionaires or beggars, PhD’s or bums, kings or paupers – all sinners have to simply trust the finished work of Jesus Christ. All men are going to hell like anyone else, and they all must get saved like anyone else. You can’t earn the mercy of God. Come to the Cross with an empty hand, and you'll go away with your pockets overflowing. Get your mind off everything but Jesus and you'll be at peace. JESUS means JEHOVAH Saves. Jesus Christ the Savior of sinners is JEHOVAH manifest in the flesh.
Our vision is so limited, we can only see so far, both physically and spiritually. We are so restricted and helpless. Nobody but Jesus can do anything for your guilty soul. Hungry hearted sinners need the Savior. Completely surrender yourself to Jesus in the future, as you have surrendered yourself to your sins in your past. God sees all things. God sees everything you think, say, and do. You've stepped out on God and went out into sin many a time. The all-seeing eye of God looks on the heart of man continually. God sees the profanity in your heart before it gets to your lips. Any sin that you would commit if you could do it and get away with it, in the sight of God, that sin is already committed.
God knows all about your sinful desires. God sees the inward evil impulse that leads you to commit the outward act of sin. God sees through all darkness. God never allows sin. You were born wrong, but you can be born again. You have no excuse for sinning. You don’t have to do wrong and make a mess of your life. You can’t get away with wrongdoing in the sight of God. You are playing with the wrath of God and your eternal destiny. It would be safer for you to play with a nuclear weapon or forked lightning than to mess around with the wrath of God. There's only one God and the only way to get to Him is through His Son's atoning blood shed on Calvary's Cross.
