Thanksgiving is a Bible word -- It is a good thing to give thanks unto the Lord Jesus Christ, and to sing praises unto Thy name, O Most High: Offer unto God thanksgiving -- I will praise the name of my God with a song, and will magnify Him with Thanksgiving. Give thanks unto the Lord, call upon His name, make known His deeds among the people. Let us come before the Lord Jesus Christ's presence with Thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto Him with psalms. Be ye thankful. O give thanks unto Christ Jesus; for He is good; for His Mercy endureth for ever. I will give thanks to His holy name, and glory in His praise. Unto Thee, O God of heaven, do we give thanks, only unto Thee do we give thanks. I will offer to Thee Immanuel the sacrifice of Thanksgiving, and will call upon your name. Praise ye the Lord. Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise: be thankful unto JESUS, and bless and magnify His name. O give thanks unto the Lord; for He is so good: for His tender mercies endureth for ever. We give thanks unto Thy holy name, and triumph in Thy Cross. O give thanks to the KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS: for His lovingkindness endureth for ever. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us Thanksgiving to God. Rooted and built up in Jesus Christ our Lord, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with Thanksgiving. And they fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God, saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and *Thanksgiving*, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
