You sport and squander your life away, years you've spent in vanity, pride, and unbelief, caring not that your Creator was crucified for your vile sins. You're facing a Dreadful death in your unbelief; you will be suddenly laid low by the ax of eternal doom. You have a horrible eternal death warrant you have earned personally. You've grown accustomed to your imminent danger, and have become used to your perilous condition of impenitence and unbelief. Religion's loop of doom continually decoys and distracts your Soul and keeps you from actually/personally receiving Christ Jesus into thine heart. You blindly have no expectation or desire for the coming of Christ, no fear of the judgment to come, no hope of heaven, no love for the Savior, and no dread of hell and the lake of fire. You're hopelessly trapped in the motions of sins until the Savior graciously comes to your rescue.
What has the Lord Jesus Christ ever done against you, to cause you to despise, slight, and avoid Him so? How can you continue to do this great wickedness by rejecting Christ and sinning against God?
You spend much of your time with frivolities, vanities, and all sorts of childish toys to put your cares and dreads out of your mind. You try your hardest through entertainment, amusements, and chemicals to forget the miseries that come upon your mind very thick and heavy at times. It is pure madness to drive away the Holy Spirit by your rejection of Christ. You dread your own thoughts, and cannot think of dying and facing God Almighty. You're in a sad state indeed: how can you bear to even think about Eternity? The brevity, frailty, fragility, and uncertainty of life should frighten you, but you're so dead in your sins, and then cannot sense your imminent doom. There is but a step between you and eternal death. The brevity of your life is but a vapor. Your Peace with God was fully made by Christ Jesus on the Cross, by HIM bleeding His life away to pay the consequence and penalty for your sins. Your highest Wisdom is to close with Christ at once and find free eternal salvation in HIM.
O what a dreadful time it will be in your dying hours and last moments, when you remember back on your past life, full of shame, afraid to meet God, ashamed to have lived your whole life without caring about JESUS. The thought of death is like a ghost that haunts you as long as you remain outside of Christ's safety, unreconciled to God, unregenerate in heart, unprepared to enter ETERNITY. A God-less life will surely result in a Christ-less Eternity. You'll soon wake up dead in the world to come and meet the God that you've disregarded and despised, and you'll wake up to eternal shame and everlasting contempt in the Eternal Region of Reality.
Your proud heart is not happy at all when JESUS is given *ALL* the Glory and Credit for Salvation. You're very interested in worldly vanities, but not JESUS. You've taken counsel, but not from JESUS CHRIST, the Righteous Advocate, you've tried your best to cover your Soul with a false covering, but not from the Holy Spirit, not Christ's Righteousness, God's absolute sinless perfection. Every man at his best state is Altogether Vanity. You are fading as a leaf, Set thine house in order, Prepare to meet God, Ye must be born again, Flee from the wrath to come, come unto JESUS, and He will GIVE you REST. JESUS CHRIST may be the jest of your thoughts now, but when your lost Soul exits your body, it will be a different story then.
What is the price you must pay for your Eternal Salvation? Nothing at all whatsoever, for Christ paid it ALL with His own Precious Blood Atonement; You must simply receive HIM freely; Believe on JESUS, that is, receive HIM inwardly by Faith in His Innocent Blood, trust your Soul entirely with JESUS. Don't allow your earthly cares and temporal business to damn your Soul eternally.
You grope at noonday for the simple Truth of the Gospel. Jesus didn't just pay for part of your sin debt, not just your current debt, but also all of your future sin debt that you will incur. Religious rules and strictness only increase your misery and wretchedness.
Sincerely consider the Gospel today, turn the Truth of the Gospel over and over in your mind: God was manifest in the flesh to bear your sins in His own body, and suffer, bleed and die in your place. Stop doubting JESUS and resisting the Holy Ghost; May your mouth be stopped and your opposition ceased today, and may the Holy Spirit help you to gain a sincere interest in the Savior's Precious Blood. Right now, rush into JESUS' merciful everlasting arms, and be clothed in Christ's Righteousness Divine. The Incarnate Deity, Bleeding Omnipotence, The Immortal God became a Jewish peasant, He was full of Grace, Truth, and Infinite Divine Love. The Word was made flesh, and He was crucified for your sins, then He was raised from the dead by the power of God. JESUS most generously and willingly came and shed His Precious Blood in the place of sinners, that means You.
JESUS died to bring the guilty soul nigh to God by His Bloody death, and put away your Sins forever, by the Sacrifice of Himself. JESUS was condemned in the sinner's place, if you Trust only Him, there can be no Condemnation for you. Salvation is the divine work of the Holy Spirit, not by any human effort or merit. Dear sinner, come to your senses, yield your Soul up to JESUS, receive Him into your heart and soul. The Man Christ Jesus delights most of all in Mercy: this Man receiveth sinners, and He will be most delighted to save your Soul from your damnable sins. Christ Jesus Himself is the Perfection of Divine Beauty and Righteousness.
Nothing short of JESUS' own Blood can suffice to forgive your innumerable sins. Nothing short of Christ's Finished Blood Atonement, and the Holy Spirit's regenerating Power from above can affect ETERNAL Salvation in your dead sinful Soul. Redemption is only by JESUS' Precious Blood (Colossians 1:14); Regeneration is only by the Holy Spirit; Justification is not by any of your works, but only by the RIGHTEOUSNESS of Christ Jesus. The Holy Spirit and His workings of divine Grace must first create the true thirst for the WATER OF LIFE; then if any man THIRST, let him come directly to JESUS, and drink abundantly.
Lord Jesus, please help me, for I'm in a dreadful difficulty, help my understanding, give me Faith, I cannot see, I am in dark despondency, help my heart, I am full of iniquities, help my poor sorrowful situation, please do for me what I cannot do for myself, my Soul is in a precarious state, please save my Soul, and deliver me by your Grace and Blood from the Wrath to come. Salvation is by Grace, Redemption is by Precious Blood, Justification is by Faith alone. The mighty hand of God's divine Grace must interpose on your behalf, and snatch your Soul from slipping over dreadful precipice of eternal damnation. You are currently waiting in the death cell for the imminent eternal verdict; the suspense is terribly frightening for you. What will be the Verdict?
Here is The Way of Salvation simply put: Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world, Look away from yourself; Think much of the living person of JESUS, Think fixedly on His Precious Blood, Dwell on the words Faith found in the Scriptures; Personally Look unto JESUS; Receive His Light and Truth into your darkness and emptiness; Repent towards God, Forsake your own righteousness, and from the heart, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved from the wrath to come which your sins deserve; Believe in thine heart that God hath raised JESUS from the dead. From your own heart, Trust JESUS CHRIST Himself, Receive His Person, Atonement (His Free Pardon), Righteousness (His Sinless Perfection) inwardly by Faith in His Precious Blood. With your heart believe unto Righteousness by Receiving Christ Jesus into yourself by calling upon His Name. But now once in the end of the world hath JESUS appeared to PUT AWAY SIN by the Sacrifice of HIMSELF.
Then out of loving Gratitude to JESUS, Confess Him sincerely, willingly, promptly, gratefully, boldly, plainly, consistently before men. Then Yield to His will daily, Walk in the Spirit, Live to God's glory, Love JESUS supremely, and you will have joy unspeakable and the peace of God which passeth all understanding.
