The atheist wants freedom from Christ, and he seeks wisdom apart from God. The atheist is ever learning, but never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth, because he is a Christ rejector. The darwinist is unfulfilled and always searching for hope. But the atheist remains hopeless because he neglects and avoids The Hope - Christ Himself (I Timothy 1:1). Never ever trust your own heart, it will always deceive you. Look completely out of yourself to Christ Jesus for divine assistance now. If you need Wisdom, ask of God, The LORD gives His Wisdom liberally to all who seek *HIM*. Good for nothing, hell-deserving wretches need the Crucified and Risen Savior. There is a God, and you're not HIM.
Wisdom and truth has never come from a sinful human heart. There is no fear of God before the atheist's eyes. The atheist has lost his way, he wanders and speculates, remains hopelessly unfulfilled, and enslaved to his dirty sinful ways. The dying atheist refuses the cure, and the drowning atheist turns away from the lifeboat of Christ's Free Salvation. He would rather look to himself for the answer, he would rather trust in himself, he continually tries to create his own cure for his despair. The atheist lives out a myth, but he wakes up to Reality at death. God gives every Christ rejecting mind over to depravity. Every human heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked. The atheist's primary goal is to take all shame out of sinful activity.
Never listen to your own heart. Submit to the words of God and the Holy Spirit's guidance and direction. Humanism says, "Find yourself, seek wholeness in yourself, you need to know who you are, you have all the best answers within you." But without Christ the living God, you can do Nothing. Abide in Christ's words, focus on His Truth, Look to His Blood and Righteousness, and the Truth shall set you free. If you search your own heart, you will be deceived, that's for sure. God abandons you to a depraved mind when you ignore Him. The atheistic mind that forgets God becomes distorted, self-centered, and perverted. Atheism is the bottom of the sewer of human depravity.
*Unrighteousness - despising whatever God loves, and loving whatever God hates
*Fornication - sexual immorality of the mind or body
*Wickedness - totally bent toward corruption in every way
*Covetousness/Greed/Idolatry - grasping for what you don't have, craving more of anything and everything. "I want more!"
*Maliciousness - vicious delight in harming others, desire for revenge
*Envy - grasping for what someone else has, leads to murder (Matthew 27:17), desire for other's position, popularity, wealth, prosperity
*Murder - inward hatred of someone that sometimes leads to taking their life
*Debate - affection for arguing
*Deceit - luring others with sinful bait, pretending to be moral but secretly evil
*Malignity - habitually vicious toward others as a way of life, rude and crude
*Whispering - ruins lives in secret, use the tongue to hurt others
*Backbiting - secret defamation, hurting others' character and reputation with the tongue behind their backs
*Slanderers - public defamation, speak evil of another person
*Haters of God - public attempt to ruin the reputation of God and His Son, deniers of God, enemies to God by their evil works
*Despiteful - mixing of pride with hurtful words and physical brutality, bullying
*Proud - arrogance concerning one's learning or eloquence, the pedestal personality that looks down on others
*Boasters - the dialect of the arrogant, to speak highly one's self, the chief subject of their conversation is themselves
*Inventors of evil things - commitment to corrupt creativity in order to gain money or lead others away from God, sinfully innovative, displaying, glamorizing, and legalizing sinful activity, and encouraging lust; the inventing of evil schemes, philosophies, and principles
*Disobedient to parents - refusing to accept God's authority and influence; your parents are the first symbol of authority in your life; if you disobey your parents, you will disobey God
*Without understanding - a learning disability to understand spiritual things, no understanding of God's nature or worship, of things divine or moral
*Covenant-breakers - untrustworthy at marriage, business, and government; no regard to private or public contracts
*Without natural affection - unloving, between a parent and child, husband and wife, unappreciative of the family structure; no family bonds
*Implacable - unreconcilable, unreasonable, unforgiving
*Unmerciful - ruthless, heartless, without compassion or pity to those in distress
The atheistic mind becomes reprobate - so corrupt that it is an untrustworthy guide in moral decision making. The insane atheist knows the judgment of God, they reject Christ willfully, they stubbornly violate their conscience, and give hearty approval to those who practice sin.
The rejection of Christ always leads to an acceptance of sin, the acceptance of sin leads to an approval of sin, the approval of sin finally degenerates into the applause for sin.
When you justify your own sin, that is wicked for sure, but to approve of and encourage, and take pleasure when others sin is immeasurably heinous. They love to watch violence, pornography, deceit, and crime being committed. Sinners band together around their common perversions and abominable idolatries.
You are a sinner, corrupt and evil, in need of the living Savior who died for the guilty. Every day you prove the fact that you're a sinner, for you sin in thought, word, and deed. Cast away your excuses, confess you are sin-full to God, acknowledge your specific sins, submit and repent at Christ's feet, turn to Christ Jesus Himself, trust His words and Blood, receive HIM into your innermost being now.
