Every lost sinner is dead in his sins right now. A dead man has no appetite at all. You'll never see anyone trying to feed a dead man down at the funeral home. That's because corpses don't have an appetite. The natural man has an appetite for filth and self. An unregenerate sinner is dead in his sins, and he cannot feed upon the words of God or the living Savior. The New Birth (John 3:7) alone gives us eternal life and a new nature which has an appetite for Christ, His words, and His purity. If you're not Born Again, you'll go straight to Hell, just as quick as you die. The Bible says that lost people are dead in their sins (Ephesians 2:1). The lost man just drifts down the stream of sin because he's dead. Whatever the crowd says. A crow eats dead rotten things, but a dove never will. The crow and the dove have different appetites, just like the atheist and the Christian. Religous quackery can never solve one problem a lost sinner has.

You have no good works worth mentioning. The less a man thinks of himself, the more He will think of Christ. Trust in Christ's Blood, not your works. If you conceal your sin, you will damn your soul. Come out in the open with the rest of us, place yourself among the Guilty. If you are full of sin and have no merit, you may come to Christ now. There is no Medicine to prescribe to sinners except - Christ, Christ, Christ. Jesus Christ and Him crucified is the way. Grace is your greatest need. In a famine, food is the greatest need. In a lost soul, Christ is the greatest need.
You have rejected Christ many times, you have broken God's Law continually, you are lost and under the wrath of God right now (John 3:36). You are certainly guilty in the sight of God. Be wise - Seek for God's Mercy through Christ's Atoning Sacrifice alone. You must become as a little child, trusting in Jesus, if you are ever to be saved. Christ was crucified for guilty sinners, just like you. Bad people (sinners) can go to Heaven, but all good people (the self-righteous) go to Hell. It is not your works, but His Goodness; not your merits, but His Mercy; not human goodness, but divine Grace. You must look completely out of yourself to Another (Christ Himself) for free and full forgiveness of all your sins. You must forsake your way and your thoughts. Great sinners need the Great Savior who died for the ungodly. The guilty man needs and seeks mercy. Human efforts are a dead end which winds up in the lake of fire. Divine mercy is the greatest need of every man who ever lived.
Jesus is the sinner's only Friend. Don't play the fool with your soul. You can never be saved by any of your works, for they are all faulty and defiled. You must be saved completely by the Merits of Another. Sin cannot be in two places at once. Your sin is either on your soul right now, or it is on Jesus. Just trust Christ's Blood now. A sinner can only be made Righteous through what Christ has done. A guilty man can be saved only by the mercy of God in Christ. Human nature rebelliously continues on in its deadly doings. Jesus will only love sinners Freely. The Grace of God is as free as the air you breathe. Jesus freely gives and forgives His enemies. The best and wisest thing to do is to trust only to the Merits of the Lamb of God at once.
