Every man is without excuse today; he has the witness of the Creation without, and the witness of his Conscience within. Look all around, God's handiwork and fingerprints are found everywhere you look. God exists and everybody knows it, but they don't want to face it, and give Him glory. You have a sense of right and wrong - that's called your Conscience. Every time you lie, steal, lust, cheat, fornicate, or gossip, your Conscience whispers to you, "You just did something wrong." Moral evil always produces misery. Sin always complicates life. Ungodliness is rebellion and hatred toward God, and unrighteousness is rebellion and hatred toward your fellow man. Lack of respect toward God, always leads to lack of respect for other people. If you don't treat God right, you won't treat others right. If your spiritual relationship with God is wrong, your human relationships are wrong. Treat God right, and you'll treat others right.
It is common habit of human nature to deny and avoid the Truth. Atheism is a systematic denial of truth, an ongoing deliberate effort to coverup Biblical facts. They say, "Let's keep the Truth out of sight, ignore it, because we love our sin so." Every time you secretly sin, your conscience quietly whispers to you, "You're guilty."
The religions of this world are vain attempts to get around the true and living Holy God of the Bible - Jesus Christ. Man-made religions rebel against Biblical truth, and love to believe what they dream up. Man worships religion, not Jesus Christ. When Christ Jesus came into this world, He messed up man's religious systems, and they hated Him with a passion. Man despises morality, purity, and absolute Truth. Man knows there is a Creator intuitively, but continues to love his sin and darkens his understanding. Carnal man wants to silence the Truth. Man wants to be unaccountable and unlimited in his sins. A Creator makes man accountable for his sins. The universe was tailor made to support life. The evolutionist says that every man evolved from an animal. Evolution says, Man began as an animal, but now he wants to be his own god. The Bible says, Man was created in the image of God, and now he digresses and lives worse than an animal.
The atheist seeks to conceal and silence the Truth, ignore the Creator, and stifle his Conscience. Lost man worships the creation, not the Creator. The natural man hates God's Authority, that is, God's Words. Man doesn't want to have to answer to anyone for his sins. Human nature abhors accountability and limitations. Man rebels against God's holiness. Man hates God rule, because he wants to be unaccountable and unfettered in his sinning. Man hates God's holiness, because man is unholy. Every man is sinful and guilty and without excuse. Self-righteous man makes up excuses, so he can ignore and avoid Jesus Christ. Face it - The Creator will one day judge the sinner. By nature you have nothing to offer the Holy Angry Judge - you need the Crucified and Risen Mediator.
There's a God, and you're not Him.
There's a God, and you're going to face Him.
There's a God, He knows what you're doing.
There's a God, His name is Jesus Christ.
Trust *HIM*, not yourself.
Do-gooders go to Hell, and no-gooders go to Heaven.
Don't forget, you're not God.
There is a God of wrath who hates human sin. If you die a Christ rejector, you will face a furious God. If you are a Christ rejector, God is really mad at you right now (See John 3:36). Christ paid the penalty of hell on behalf of sinful humanity. The evil nature of man is unaccountable to Biblical direction. People want to behave any old way they want. But there is an eternal Reckoning coming (See Hebrews 9:27); an eternal Holy Judge exists and He will render a Judgment and a Verdict concerning your sinful life (See Revelation 20:11-15). Human nature wants to get rid of God as a Righteous Judge, then there will be no enforcer of sin, then there's no standard of Truth, then you can live whatever way you want, then there's no right and wrong, and whatever is truth for you is truth.
The atheist seeks to rid himself of any thought or mention of The Angry Holy Judge of human sin. The lost man says, "I want to live anyway I want to live. I don't want moral restraints put on me." The corrupt nature of man doesn't want to hear about the holy nature of God, because it wants to behave the way it wants to behave. But God loves holiness and hates sin. The vile nature of man doesn't want to hear of God at all, because it clings to sins.
The religion of the natural man is independent of Biblical truth. The religion of man wants to believe anything it wants to believe. Man loves to concoct religions, because man is a religious being. Man has to worship and adore something. Atheists decide there is no religion, and that becomes their religion, and they worship themselves. Human nature says, "I want to believe whatever I want to believe." Man's nature and man's beliefs naturally kicks at God's Holiness and rejects the truth of God's wrath and denies Christ's Gospel. Carnal man can tolerate just about anything but God's righteous standard of holiness - Jesus Christ Himself. The world's system wants to slowly remove the God of the Bible (The Lord Jesus Christ) from every part of civilization. The world's way is sexual perversion, abortion, safe sex, earth day, mother nature, self-help, and personal enlightenment. Today, we are to be tolerant of anything and anyone except God, that is, Jesus Christ, and His words. Sin is the very contradiction of God's holy character. God's holiness is an abiding hatred of sin. The atheist stubbornly digs in his heels against his Creator, and winds up in the Lake of Fire.
The wrath of God is an undeniable fact (John 3:36; Romans 5:9; I Thessalonians 1:10). Prepare to meet thy God - flee from the wrath to come - come to the Cross, look to the Lamb of God now. You are a sinner condemned to an eternal Lake of Fire, because of the Righteous penalty of God toward human sin, but if you will humbly and contritely come to Jesus Christ (God manifest in the flesh), He will freely pardon all of your sins through simple childlike faith in His precious blood that was shed to save the ungodly.
Creation is God's divine masterpiece which should cause men to seek out the Divine Artist. When we are young, we are love light and are afraid of the darkness, but as we get older, we begin to hate light and love the dark (John 3:19). The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. The wise man fears God, the fool ignores and disregards God. The fear of the LORD is the great desire to love and please the God who loved us and gave Himself for us. Men rush into sin without any regard for the consequences. The reprobate lacks spiritual judgment and sound judgment. Every Christ rejector deserves the wrath of God. Atheists try to explain way the intricate design of the creation. Sinful humanity looks for some other answer or reason, something other than a personal living holy Creator God who bled and died for them. God exists and everyone knows it, they just deny it.
The unreached heathen know there is some kind of God or Deity. All the heathen have some kind of worship; they understand right and wrong, and when they sin, they know have done wrong. The heathen realize that all wrong must be punished, they are afraid of eternal retribution, they are afraid of dying, they know their sin must be atoned for, so they seek out ways of appeasing their deities or their deity. Mankind is incurably religious and rebellious. Every atheist is aware there is a God, but that awareness doesn't impact his actual thoughts, words, and deeds. The religious man knows all the facts about God, but he has no saving faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. The saved sinner possesses Truth, he receives Christ, and lives to please Jesus by obeying the Truths of Scripture. The atheist refuses to seek out God and to honor Him. The natural man refuses to give God the glory.
Ascribe to God glory by admitting your sinfulness, by acknowledging God's holiness, by confessing your inability to please God, by trusting Christ's Righteousness, by trusting God with your soul and actual daily life, by praising Him in word, deed, and in truth, by praying for His will to be done, by spreading God's words, by serving the body of Christ, by living a morally pure life, by winning souls to Christ, by bearing fruit in godly attitudes and actions. Christ is worthy of your service - give Him glory and gratitude. Worthy is the Lamb that was slain. Stop for a few minutes, and say thank you to God. The atheist is spiraling downward in his sinful darkness and confusion. Every man without Christ is confounded - he doesn't know what to believe; he is constantly speculating. When you do not give God glory, you will give some other person glory, no doubt. Atheists give darwin glory. Man naturally prefers to worship himself, rather than his Maker. Sin inevitably makes a moron out of every atheist that loves it. The only thing that will appease The Angry Holy Judge is simple childlike faith in His Son's Precious Blood (Romans 3:23-25).
