The Gospel by Colors

The following colors can be used to teach men and women the glorious gospel of Christ:

YELLOW - God is Light – The LORD is my light and my salvation. (Psalm 27:1)  For the Lord God is a sun and shield: the Lord will give grace and glory. (Psalm 84:11)  God is Light, and in Him is no darkness at all. (I John 1:5)

God is Holy – Holy, holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come. (Revelation 4:8)  Who only hath immortality, dwelling in the light which no man can approach unto; whom no man hath seen, nor can see: to whom be honour and power everlasting. (I Timothy 6:16) The Lord our God is holy. God sitteth upon the throne of His holiness.  Bless the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name.  For our heart shall rejoice in the LORD, because we have trusted in His holy name.

God is Truth – He is the Rock, His work is perfect: for all His ways are judgment: a God of truth and without iniquity, just and right is He. (Deuteronomy 32:4)  But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, long suffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. The holy scriptures are the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15; John 17:17) Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice. (John 18:37) Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the Truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me. (John 14:6)

God is Eternal – Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever Thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, Thou art God. (Psalm 90:2) For thus saith the high and lofty One that inhabiteth Eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.  The eternal God is thy refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms.  Now unto the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the only wise God, be honour and glory for ever and ever.  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

God is Merciful – For Thou, Lord, art good, and ready to forgive; and plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon Thee. (Psalm 86:5)  But Thou, O Lord, art a God full of compassion, and gracious, longsuffering, and plenteous in mercy and truth. (Psalm 86:15)

GREENGarden of Eden - God is the Creator – In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.  (Genesis 1:1)   And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there He put the man [Adam] whom He had formed. (Genesis 2:8)  Jesus said, Have ye not read, that He which made them at the beginning made them male and female. (Matthew 19:4) Paul said, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.(I Corinthians 15:45)

For thus saith the LORD that created the heavens; God Himself that formed the earth and made it; He hath established it, He created it not in vain, He formed it to be inhabited:  I am the LORD; and there is none else. (Isaiah 45:18)  Thus saith God the LORD, He that created the heavens, and stretched them out; He that spread forth the earth, and that which cometh out of it; He that giveth breath unto the people upon it, and spirit to them that walk therein. (Isaiah 42:5)  Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.  (Romans 5:12) Adam was created sinless, but he rebelled and sinned.  He tried to hide from God, but God sought him, and then in mercy God provided a sacrifice for his sin. Adam’s transgression plunged all of mankind into the darkness of Sin.

BLACK - Sin - We are all sinners, and we cannot help save ourselves from the danger and guilt of sin.   Sin is black, because Sin is pure darkness, the very opposite of divine Light.  Sin ruins the sinner, and it is his doom.  Sin turns the soul and heart pitch black.  There is no true goodness in any man who is in his unregenerate, natural state.  Sin is the violation of God’s divine law.  If we say we have not sinned, we make God a liar, and His word is not in us.  (I John 1:10) If we say we have no sin, the truth is not in us.  The soul that sinneth, it shall die. (Ezekiel 18:4) Sin is the transgression of the law. (I John 3:4)  All unrighteousness is sin. (I John 5:17)  He that committeth sin is of the devil.  (I John 3:8) Therefore to him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it is sin. (James 4:17)  The thought of foolishness is sin. (Proverb 24:9) Whatsoever is not of faith is sin. (Romans 14:23)

An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked is sin. (Proverbs 21:4)  Fools make a mock at sin.  Be sure your sins will find you out.  The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. (Proverbs 4:19) Jesus said, I am the light of the world: he that followeth Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. (John 8:12)  For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies. (Matthew 15:19)  And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. (John 3:19) Whosoever committeth sin is the servant of sin. (John 8:34)

For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. (Ecclesiastes 7:20)  In Adam all die. (I Corinthians 15:22)  There is none righteous, no not one. (Romans 3:12)  There is none that doeth good, no, not one. (Romans  3:12)  For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. (Romans 3:23) The wages of sin is death. (Romans 6:23)  Thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins. (Matthew 1:21)  Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. (John 1:29)

ORANGE - Lake of Fire - If you die in our sins, you will go to an eternal Lake of Fire.  And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments. (Luke 16:23)  Whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:15) And shall cast them into the furnace of fire:  there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth. (Matthew 13:50)  He that believeth not shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him. (John 3:36) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. (Ecclesiastes 12:14) To be cast into hell fire: where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.  (Mark 9:47-48)  Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness; there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.  (Matthew 22:13) God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ. (Romans 2:16)

Every one of us shall give account of himself to God. (Romans 14:12)  He that believeth not shall be damned. (Mark 16:16) It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment. (Hebrews 9:27) He that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3:18) Wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat. (Matthew 7:13)  And these shall go away into everlasting punishment.  (Matthew 25:46) Tormented with fire and brimstone. (Revelation 14:10)  The way of life is above to the wise, that he may depart from hell beneath. (Proverbs 15:24)  Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels. (Matthew 25:41)  How can ye escape the damnation of hell? (Matthew 23:33)  There is Only One Way!

REDAtoning Blood - By simply trusting to the Finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ your sins will be freely forgiven!  Jesus died in our place; He is the Substitute for sinners.  Christ Jesus, God manifest in the flesh shed His Precious Blood (Poured out His Life) for our sins.  Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures. (I Corinthians 15:3-4)  In whom we have redemption, through His blood, even the forgiveness of sins. (Colossians 1:14)  The blood of Jesus Christ God’s Son cleanseth us from all sin. (I John 1:7)

He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities:  the chastisement of our peace was upon Him, and with His stripes ye are healed.  All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned everyone to his own way, and the LORD hath laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all. (Isaiah 53:5-6)  Christ bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: “by whose stripes ye were healed.  (I Peter 2:24)  And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life. (John 3:15)

Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the Just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God. (I Peter 3:18)  Much more then, being now justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. (Romans 5:9)  Jesus said, “It is finished!” when he was dying on the Cross. (John 19:30) How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation? (Hebrews 2:3)

BLUE - Faith - Ye must born again from above by the Holy Ghost, as a result of your personal act of repentance toward God and faith toward the Lord Jesus Christ.  You need Faith from God to believe on His Son.  Ask God for faith to repent of your sins and to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. By grace are ye saved through faith in the finished cross-work of Christ Jesus, God Incarnate.  Bible Faith consists of knowledge, understanding, belief, and trust.  A measure of knowledge is essential first. You must first be informed of the truths and facts of the Gospel found in the Scriptures (divine Truth), so you can be given an understanding and faith from the Holy Spirit, in order to truly believe on and trust to the Lamb of God.  Faith in the Blood of Jesus cometh only by hearing about Jesus' bloody death on Calvary's Cross for sinners.

Search the Scriptures and learn what the Holy Spirit teaches concerning God Incarnate who bore your sins in His own body, and He suffered the punishment due to your sins, so you could be freely saved by grace through faith in His atoning blood.  You must believe the scripture and the word which Jesus has said.  You must believe that God is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.  Believe that the Bible is true, and that the Gospel is from God.  The good news of the Gospel publishes free forgiveness, eternal life, change of heart, acceptance with God, and adoption into God's family.  Seek to know Christ Jesus, receive Him personally into your heart and mind.

Genuine saving faith steadfastly and firmly fixes itself to this truth -- Christ Jesus, God manifest in the flesh, the Substitute for sinners, came into the world to save the ungodly freely through His atoning blood. Christ died for the ungodly, so He could justify them through faith in His Blood.  Commit your soul to the Merciful Mediator, rest all your hope on the gracious Gospel; trust your whole being on the crucified and living Savior; believe with all thine heart on His atoning blood.  Stake your soul on who Jesus is, what Jesus promised to do, and expect all this from Him.

Leave yourself in Jesus' hands who saves sinners by His grace and mercy.  Like ivy with its rootlets and suckers clings to and climbs on whatever it is growing on, even so with your thoughts, desires, and hopes grasp, hook on, and cling to Christ Jesus Himself and His precious promises.  God in human flesh was made to be Sin for  you, that is, He bore your sins in His own body on the tree, so you could be made the Righteousness of God in Him. Jesus rose from the dead, and He ever liveth to make intercession for us.

Only the Blood-Washed Sinner can enter Heaven!  Every sinner must be saved by Precious Blood.  Jesus is coming soon to take His children to Heaven.  Jesus said, In my Father’s house are many mansions:  if it were not so, I would have told you, I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:2-3)  Are you a true Believer, or just a Pretender?  The Lord knoweth them that are His. Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die?  Saith the Lord GOD:  and not that he should return from his ways, and live?  (Ezekiel 18:23)  When I see the blood, I will pass over you. (Exodus 12:13)  Sincerely ask God to safeguard your defenseless soul through the Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Jesus said, Him that cometh to Me I will in no wise cast out. (John 6:37) And whosoever will, let him take of the water of life freely. (Revelation 22:17) Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord, shall be saved. (Romans 10:13) Please repent of your way and trust the Way (JESUS Himself) today, and ask Him to save you from the danger and guilt of your sins.  By faith, the best way you know how, ask Jesus to save you from Hell. What do you hope to gain by delaying and neglecting Christ?  Don’t go to sleep tonight lost in your sins - under the wrath and condemnation and curse of God.

Put your trust in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will have a true Friend in your heart at all times. “Behold, I stand at the door [your heart] and knock. (Revelation 3:20) The Lord is not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. (II Peter 3:9) Today, if you will hear His voice, harden not your heart. (Hebrews 4:7)  Have you heard and responded to His voice?  Please receive the Lord Jesus Christ into your heart and soul now. *John 1:12*

WHITE - Free Forgiveness of Sins, Righteousness of God - Eternal Life is a Free Gift from God.  Faith in Jesus' Blood is the only way to Heaven.  God gives His perfect Righteousness to the sinner that trusts in the atoning blood of the Lord Jesus Christ alone.  Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord:  though your sins be scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool. (Isaiah 1:18)  I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance. (Matthew 9:13)  Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. (Matthew 11:28)  Seest thou a man wise in his own conceit? There is more hope of a fool than of him. (Proverbs 26:12)   Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. (I Timothy 1:15) Ye must be born again. (John 3:7) Cast away from you all of your transgressions, whereby ye have transgressed; and make you a new heart and a new spirit,: for why will ye die? (Ezekiel 18:31)

My spirit shall not always strive with man.  The gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)  Except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish. (Luke 13:3,5)  Seek ye the Lord while He may be found, call ye upon Him while He is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts:  and let him return unto the LORD, for He will abundantly pardon.  (Isaiah 55:6-7)  For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him, should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16)  Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. (Acts 16:31)  If you miss God's bleeding love of Calvary, you will have missed the only true unselfish love the world has ever seen.  Christ Jesus came to seek and to save that which was lost.  Trust in His Precious Blood alone, and you will be saved on the spot, saved forever.

GREEN  - After we are born again into God’s family, God wants us to grow in His grace.  Here are four easy ways to grow daily in the God’s grace.

GGo directly to God through Jesus' Blood in prayer.  Go to Sunday School, go to Church, fellowship with other believers.  Trust in the Lord will all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)  Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thankgiving let your requests be made know unto God. (Philippians 4:6) Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not. (Jeremiah 33:3)   Ye have not, because ye ask not. (James 4:2)

RRead your Bible.  Seek ye out of the book of the Lord, and read. (Isaiah 34:16)  As newborn babes, desire the sincere milk of the word, that ye may grow thereby. (I Peter 2:2)  Man shall live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4) I have esteemed the words of His mouth more than my necessary food.  (Job 23:12)

OObey and yield to the Spirit of God.  For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are sons of God. (Rom 8:14) Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lusts of the flesh. (Gal 5:16) Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time. (I Peter 5:6) Grieve not the holy Spirit of God.  (Ephesian 4:30)

WWitness for Jesus daily.  Ye shall be witnesses unto Me. (Acts 1:8) Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. (Mark 16:16)  Come ye after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.  (Mark 1:17)  He that winneth souls is wise. (Proverbs 11:30)

GOLD – Heaven - Gold stands for Heaven .  He will give you grace and glory, all along your pilgrim way.  Then this golden color also represents New Jerusalem, with its streets of gold.  Jesus said, In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.  And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. (John 14:2-3)

And Jesus carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God, having the glory of God: and her light was like unto a stone most precious, even like a jasper stone, clear as crystal; and had a wall great and high, and had twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and names written thereon, which are the names of the twelve tribes of the children of Israel...and the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and in them the names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb. And the city lieth foursquare, and the length is as large as the breadth: and he measured the city with the reed, twelve thousand furlongs. The length and the breadth and the height of it are equal.  And the building of the wall of it was of jasper: and the city was pure gold, like unto clear glass. And the twelve gates were twelve pearls: every several gate was of one pearl: and the street of the city was pure gold, as it were transparent glass.
