I Am Not Ashamed

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto Salvation to every sinner that believeth. As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God. Every mouth shall be stopped, and all the world shall become guilty before God. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. Every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. Every one of us shall give account of himself to God at the Judgment of the great day. By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in God's sight: for by the Law is the knowledge of sin. Moreover the Law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. But sin, that it might appear sin, working death in me by that which is good; that sin by the commandment might become exceeding sinful. The carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be. So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by God's grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: Whom God hath set forth to be a Propitiation through faith in Jesus' blood, to declare Christ's righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God; To declare, I say, at this time Christ's Righteousness: that God might be just, and the Justifier of every sinner which believeth in Jesus. To the sinner that worketh not, but believeth on Christ Jesus that justifieth the ungodly, that sinner's faith is counted for Righteousness. Blessed are they whose iniquities are forgiven, and whose sins are covered. Blessed is the man to whom the Lord will not impute sin. Christ's Righteousness shall be imputed to every sinner who believes on God that raised up Jesus our Lord from the dead; Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification. Christ died for the ungodly. God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

Much more then, being now justified by Christ's blood, we shall be saved from the wrath of God through Him. For if, when we were God's enemies, we were reconciled to God by the death of His Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by Christ's life. And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom we have "now" received the Atonement. The natural man is ignorant of God's righteousness, and goes about to establish his own righteousness, and will not submit himself unto the Righteousness of God (Christ Jesus). For Christ is the end of the law for Righteousness to every sinner that believeth.

As by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned. For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. God that spared not His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Christ also freely give us all things? If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto Righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto Salvation. For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on Christ Jesus shall not be ashamed. Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.
