Proverbs 4:14-17 -- "Enter not into THE PATH OF THE WICKED, and go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, turn from it, and pass away. For they sleep not, except they have done mischief; and their sleep is taken away, unless they cause some to fall. For they eat the bread of wickedness, and drink the wine of violence." The mouth of the wicked speaketh frowardness. The eyes of the wicked shall fail, and they shall not escape, and their hope shall be as the giving up of the ghost. The dwelling place of the wicked shall come to nought. The counsel of the wicked leads away from God and into Hell. The light of the wicked shall be put out, and the spark of his fire shall not shine. The triumphing of the wicked is short, and the joy of the hypocrite but for a moment? The desire of the wicked shall perish. The wicked forsake God's words. The soul of the wicked desireth evil. The mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things and devours iniquity. The sacrifice of the wicked is abomination: how much more, when he bringeth it with a wicked mind? The wickedness of the wicked shall be upon his soul. The filthy conversation of the wicked vexes the righteous soul.

God will turn the way of the wicked upside down. The atheist leaves the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness; they rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked; Whose ways are crooked, and they are froward in their paths. The expectation of the wicked is wrath. The way of the wicked is as darkness: they know not at what they stumble. The way of the wicked is an abomination unto the Lord. Violence covereth the mouth of the wicked. The name of the wicked shall rot. The fruit of the wicked is to sin. The heart of the wicked is little worth. The thoughts of the wicked are an abomination to the Lord. The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon the atheist. The years of the wicked shall be shortened. The expectation of the wicked shall perish. The counsels of the wicked are deceit. The lamp of the wicked shall be put out. The revenues of the wicked is trouble. The sacrifice of the wicked is an abomination to the Lord. An high look, and a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.

As I live, saith the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn ye, turn ye from your evil ways; for why will ye die?

O friendless, homeless, broken soul, O helpless Christless lost sinner, do you not want God to be your Helper in time and eternity, and Christ Jesus to be your Friend? If you do, then cease from your own works and thoughts, Behold the Sinner's Savior on Calvary's Cross bearing and suffering for your sins. Turn and fix your heart's eye on HIM: Christ Jesus bore the sinner's doom, He became your Substitute. Come on to Jesus now, penitently and heartily trust HIM: rely upon His Righteousness, come by the way of the Cross, resting only on His Precious Atoning Blood, seek free pardon through His Righteousness, and He is yours both now and forever.
