The world urges you, "Protect the environment. Save the economy. Save the planet. Save the whales." Yet this present evil world system has little concern for the salvation of your immortal Soul. It tells you to fear climate change, rising gas prices, inflation, artificial intelligence, economic collapse, and earthly disasters, but gives little thought to the Eternal Destiny that awaits you beyond the grave in the world to come. Many are deeply concerned about preserving the world, yet remain indifferent to the condition of their own immortal Soul. The world speaks of preventing future catastrophes, while neglecting the far greater danger of standing before a holy God without Christ. The world warns you, "We are on a highway to climate hell with our foot on the accelerator." But there is an even more solemn reality: every sinner apart from Christ is on the broad way that leads to destruction, with his foot bearing on the gas pedal of SIN, accelerating toward eternity under the power and guilt of sin. By nature, man is spiritually blind. He walks through life without God, unaware of the danger surrounding him. Like a blind man wandering upon a busy interstate in the darkness of night, he does not see the peril before him. Like a blind traveler walking along the edge of a cliff, he is always one step away from imminent disaster, yet he continues on without fear. Apart from the grace of God, the lost man is moving toward eternal ruin while imagining himself to be safe. He neglects the Gospel, ignores the warnings of Scripture, and postpones thoughts of Eternity and Reality. Yet death may come at any moment, and after death comes the Judgment. Therefore, do not merely concern yourself with the state of the world around you. Consider the current state of your Soul before God. The greatest question is not, "What will become of the planet?" but, "What will become of my Soul when I stand before my Creator to give account of myself?" There is only one safe REFUGE for a guilty sinner: the living Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Turn from your sins, forsake your own righteousness, and flee to HIM. Trust in His Sinless Atoning Sacrifice, His Righteousness, and His Blood's Saving Power. For what shall it profit a man if he gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?
Here's the old, old story of JESUS and His Bleeding Love: In order to obtain Eternal Life freely from God, you must believe ON the Son of God who came to Earth, and became a Jewish peasant, lived a sinless life for 33 years, He was made a CURSE for you, He became Sin for you on THE CROSS, He bore your sins in His own body on THE TREE, and then He died to pay the Penalty due to your sins. The JUST for the unjust, the HOLY for the ungodly, that He might bring you to God by His Precious Blood.
Your Faith must be fixed on what JESUS did, not on what you can do; Your Faith must be focused on what JESUS suffered, not on what you have suffered. You must look right away from anything there is within you or about you, or anything you can possibly perform or achieve; Look now to the RANSOM price paid by Christ all by Himself upon the THE CROSS. For your Soul must Live, your Soul can Live only by simple Faith in The Lamb of God which taketh away the Sin of the world. Sincerely trusting in JESUS alone. You can believe every word in THE BIBLE, and still go straight to Hell. It is Trusting in the living Person of the Lord Jesus Christ, that alone will save your Soul. Believe THE BIBLE from the heart, not just your brain. Trust the perfect obedience and atoning Sacrifice of the Lord Jesus Christ.
A wise man disclaims/rejects his own righteousness, he thinks nothing of it, and wraps his Soul up in the Robe of Righteousness freely given to him from Christ Jesus. Trust only to the One True God and His Son's Atoning Sacrifice. The great Truth of the Gospel is this: Substitutionary suffering and the Sinless Sacrifice of Christ Himself on Calvary's Cross for His enemies, O what marvelous lovingkindness was commended to sinners on Golgotha. JESUS is the Maker of Propitiation with God and Reconciliation to God by His Precious Blood. If you have any other reliance than GOD'S BLOOD, your Soul is presently Lost in the motions of sins?
Give up all other confidence/dependence and cast your sinful Soul upon The Lamb of God. Never mistrust the black and white of God: the written record of His dear Son which the Righteous Father has given us in the Holy Scriptures. Steal away to THE CROSS, and trust to the Crucified Creator. Trust your Soul with JESUS today. All Souls which trust only in JESUS have Everlasting Life, and shall never perish in Eternity. Be of good cheer: turn your eyes upon JESUS, Put all your Confidence in HIM.
Look unto JESUS, keep your eyes on the Savior. Christ Crucified in your only Hope, turn your weary eyes and fainting heart to HIM by Faith, Trust to His dear wounds from your inmost heart and soul. Your greatest debt is not your mortgage or college tuition; oh no, your greatest debt are your sins against God. You've been piling up a horrible debt with God for years now which no person on Earth can pay, especially you. You've sinned against heaven and in God's sight every time. Your sins are very great, but God's Grace is much greater. Come unto JESUS now, and He will give your weary Soul REST freely, no one else can do this for you, He will give you Rest immediately, on the spot. Only the Precious Blood of JESUS saves guilty sinners; Trust GOD'S BLOOD now and be at Peace with God.
The Very Simple Plan of Salvation is this: Confess your sinfulness and helplessness to God; Acknowledge that your own righteousness is nothing but dung and filthy rags, and that there's nothing good in you that could every merit anything of God. Apprehend that God put His dear Son in your place, and has laid your sins on Him, and smote Him with the Punishment that ought to have fallen upon you forever. JESUS willingly became Sin and a Curse on THE CROSS (2 Cor 5:21), He became your Substitute, Sin-Bearer, and Surety. Personally receive Christ, Receive His Atonement, Receive what Christ has suffered as being borne for your Soul, and sincerely Trust in His bloody death with your whole heart.
You must in fact, change places with Christ altogether. Let JESUS stand in your place of condemnation, and be reckoned as a guilty sinner, and then You stand there in JESUS' place, and be reckoned as Perfectly Righteous, and be looked upon by God as if you had lived JESUS' life, perfectly righteousness and without sin. JESUS clothes Himself in your filthy rags to be condemned and slain, and then JESUS kindly puts His Eternal Robe of Righteousness on your Soul. Saving Faith receives Christ's Righteousness as a Free Gift from God.
This is the one true way of Life Eternal: Acknowledge yourself to be Nothing, and take Christ Jesus to be your All in All. By a simple act of Faith, take into yourself Christ, and He will be your Righteousness and make you acceptable to God. If you prefer your own righteousness, reject the kind invitation of the Gospel, despise the Son of God, that means, you love your own righteousness better than Christ's RIGHTEOUSNESS. You set up your filthy rags to compete with His Righteousness, and you prefer hell to heaven.
Sinner friend, Come to your senses: Turn your heart's eyes to the sinner's Substitute, and all your transgressions are forgiven instantly, completely, irreversibly. PAID IN FULL BY GOD'S BLOOD! Yield yourself to JESUS, trust only to His Finished Atonement. Implicitly Trust to the Substitutionary Sacrifice offered Once for All by God manifest in the flesh (Emmanuel). Only Mercy can meet your sinful case, it must be Mercy, Great Mercy, nothing but MERCY. God will only have Mercy on your Soul through the Blood of JESUS. With full purpose of heart, trust only to the Great Atoning Sacrifice of the Crucified Creator.
Rely and depend only upon the Sin-Atoning Lamb of God - Christ Crucified for the ungodly. Trust your sinful Soul to the care of Another this very instant. You have made yourself puffed up with your own righteousness, so much that you cannot get through the Strait Gate, the Narrow way which leads to Christ, Trusting only Him. It takes the Grace and Power of God to turn a Soul from his own righteousness. Your own righteousness is a beautifully painted house of cards. Flee away from everything else you are trusting in, come directly to Christ, and He will give you REST (Matthew 11:28). You have no righteousness of your own in which to trust; never depend upon your own doings; beware of yourself. God's words say that JESUS died for sinners, and that He can save sinners from the wrath to come (Romans 5:9), personally believe that JESUS can save you, then personally Receive Him now. Be ye Reconciled to God freely by trusting in GOD'S PRECIOUS BLOOD. Look only to the SAVIOR for your Salvation.
God's very simple Plan of Salvation is this: Come to God and admit that you are a sinner who cannot save yourself. Acknowledge that your own goodness, works, and efforts can never make you right and acceptable with God. Believe that the Only True God sent His Son, Jesus Christ, to take the place of guilty sinners like you. On the Cross, The Lamb of God bore the punishment that sinners deserve. Though He was perfectly holy and without one sin, He willingly stood there guilty in your place. The Lamb of God became the Substitute for sinners, bearing your sins and suffering in your stead. Receive Jesus Christ by faith in His Precious Blood. Trust that what He suffered and accomplished on the Cross was enough to save your soul. Depend entirely upon Him, and not upon yourself at all.
This is the great exchange of the Gospel of Christ: Jesus takes the guilt of sinners upon Himself, and God credits Christ's perfect Righteousness to the sinner who trusts in Him. Christ was treated as though He were guilty, so that you might be treated as though you were Righteous. In a picture, it is as if Jesus takes your filthy rags and cloak of Sin and puts them on Himself, bearing the shame and punishment you deserve. Then He clothes you with His perfect RIGHTEOUSNESS, so that you are accepted before God, because of Him, that is, FOR JESUS' SAKE. Saving faith given to us by the Holy Spirit from above, simply receives Christ and His Righteousness as God's free gift. ETERNAL Salvation can never be earned by works, religion, or self-improvement. Christ Jesus, God manifest in the flesh, is the Author and Finisher of Eternal Salvation, not you. Eternal Redemption must be Received by trusting in Jesus Christ alone.
