Conversion is a complete turning of the Soul by the power of the Holy Spirit. It is being turned from self-righteousness to the Righteousness of Christ, from self-dependence to Christ-dependence, from carelessness to godly concern, from the love of the world to the pursuit of heaven, and from the practice of sin to a life of holiness.
True conversion involves faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and repentance—a turning away from sin, self-righteousness, and every false refuge, and a turning unto God. It is not merely a change of opinion or outward behavior, but a supernatural work of the Spirit of God in the heart.
In conversion, God creates within a person a clean heart, renews the spirit, and transforms the mind. The converted soul is brought to see the exceeding sinfulness of sin, to grieve over offenses committed against God and others, and to desire reconciliation with both. It is the gracious work of God whereby a sinner is made a new creature in Christ and begins to walk in newness of life.
Ye must be Born Again: Forsake your old ways, and be turned from Sin by the Holy Spirit. Regeneration is the Holy Spirit implanting His divine nature into your heart by His divine power. All true Conversion and Regeneration is solely the work of the Spirit of God. Put your trust in Christ alone, forsake your old way of life, and become a new creature in Christ, or you must perish in your sins. Ye must repent of your sins and forsake them, for JESUS' sake. No outward works or outward form of worship will ever help save your immortal Soul.
Faith in GOD'S BLOOD completely, entirely, perfectly, and forever saves the Soul to the Uttermost - All the way. Therefore, never place the slightest confidence in yourself, your works, your feelings and experiences, your religion, your righteousness, or your efforts. Rest wholly upon Christ alone. When God delivered Israel from Egypt with a mighty hand, He declared, "When I see the blood, I will pass over you." The safety of the Israelites was not found in their feelings, their sincerity, or their works, but in the blood of the lamb applied according to God's command. So it is with you sinner today. God does not ask, "How good are you?" or "What have you done?" The great question is: Have you trusted in the Blood of His Son? The Lord Jesus Christ is the true PASSOVER LAMB OF GOD Who shed GOD'S BLOOD, He offered up Himself as a Sacrifice for sinners upon the Cross. Through His atoning sacrifice of Himself, JESUS made full satisfaction for sin and opened the way of salvation to all who believe in HIM.
The Blood of Christ is sufficient for the vilest sinner and powerful enough to cleanse from all sin. Those who trust in Him are justified, forgiven, accepted, and delivered from the wrath to come. The most important question you will ever answer is this: What will you do with Jesus who is called Christ? Will you reject Him, neglect Him, or Receive HIM by Faith as your personal Lord and Savior?
Sin is a God-killing thing; Sin doesn't want God around; Sin wants God dead. Every violation of God's Law is high treason committed by you. Your sins are a stabbing at God's deity. Sin says, "Let there be no God." Sin makes this world a Hell above ground. Every sin is a crucifixion of Christ, a mockery, scourging, and nailing of Christ. Every sin is an insult against the good and kind God. As you continue in Sin, you live in daily revolt against your Maker. You curse at God, despise Christ, ignore and deny the Holy Spirit. You reject the Father's great Salvation found only in His Son, which JESUS willingly came into this world to work out for you by laying down His sinless Life for you. JESUS is the kind, good, and blessed Savior Who shed His sinless Blood for your wicked sins.
Did you know this? JESUS shed GOD'S OWN BLOOD on THE CROSS, so your sins could be FREELY forgiven. Please don't prefer your sins to the Savior. There's no profit in sinning against God; don't surrender your life and soul to the devil for he is a hard taskmaster. If you trust Christ today, all your iniquities shall be blotted out eternally, and your past shall not be remembered, you present safe, and your future eternally secure. Don't choose eternal Doom. Repent of what you have done in the dark. Do not go back to your sins after reading this. You can be entirely forgiven through Christ's Precious Blood Atonement. The very moment you stop trusting in yourself, and trust only to JESUS, your many sins will be all gone, and gone forever. But until then, your future is a black and dismal Doom without JESUS.
You must hate your Sins, or God will hate you. You must turn or Burn in Hell. Leave your sins and go to THE CROSS, or hold on to your sins and go to Hell where you really belong; it must be one or the other. There must be a final Divorce between you and your sins, or there can be no marriage to Christ. Loathe your Sins, hate your ungodliness and lusts. If you choose to keep your sins, you shall be damned. Leave your sins behind, lay hold of JESUS, put all your Trust in HIM. Let JESUS wash your Soul cleaning in GOD'S BLOOD, Let JESUS wrap your Soul in His RIGHTEOUSNESS, the only fire-proof garment out in Eternity.
Down with you, away with your evil self-righteousness. Lie flat on your face before the Lamb of God, seek the Mercies of God through His Precious Blood. Turn your heart and look to the Crucified Creator, put your heart's Trust in HIM who was slain for the ungodly sinner. Your Soul must Ransomed, Redeemed, Pardoned freely by the Savior's Innocent Blood and Converted/Regenerated by the Holy Ghost/Spirit of Christ. Trust in the Ransom of GOD'S BLOOD. The only way to get rid of your doubts and unbelief is to simply fall into Christ's arms, trusting only in His Blood and Righteousness; He will keep your Soul very safe under His protective wings.
Never forget this Central Gospel Truth: It is only GOD'S BLOOD that saves the Soul, not your religion's water or your dead evil works. Free Salvation by GOD's BLOOD, and nothing else. Get it right: The only way of Salvation is by Faith in GOD'S BLOOD. Without shedding of Blood, there is no remission of sins. If you sense your guilt, cast your Soul on Christ at once. All of your very best works will not bring your Soul one millimeter closer to God. Only GOD'S BLOOD can Reconcile your Soul back to God. If you're really Guilty, this is what you're looking for, if you've been bitten by Sin, the sure Remedy for your Soul is to Look to the Lamb of God, He offered up Himself for your Sins on THE CROSS. JESUS took your sins upon Himself, and died in your place as the Substitute for sinners.
Stop looking in vain: Your sins' Remedy is found in GOD'S BLOOD, and nowhere else. Look unto the Crucified and Risen God, and be ye saved to the uttermost. Don't play the Fool, and laugh at your sins' only Remedy, and die and go to Hell. Sinning is waste of your life, you are currently in the kingdom of darkness, a child of Satan, taken captive in your sins, drifting down the black river to eternal destruction. The one and only Remedy for Sins as evil as yours are is CHRIST CRUCIFIED, THE ATONEMENT, THE CROSS, THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF GOD. Whosoever believeth on the Lord Jesus Christ hath Everlasting Life. GOD's BLOOD is the only Medicine in the hand of the Great Physician for sin-sick Souls. You are diseased by Sin within, you are perishing as the clock ticks, and Christ Himself is your only HOPE. If you die in sins and unbelief, you must face eternal damnation. God be Merciful to me a sinner, for JESUS' SAKE.
