It's always a good time for another Reality Check about your Soul. Cease from your doings, feelings, striving, and vain efforts, and every attempt to make yourself acceptable to God, and do your poor Soul a favor, Trust to Christ Jesus alone; Cleave to Him for dear life, for He is the only Savior of sinners. Leave behind all your religious performances and penances. It is FINISHED! (John 19:30) Nothing of yours can be added to His Perfect Sinless Sacrifice of Himself. The whole glory of Salvation is found in GOD'S PRECIOUS BLOOD, that flowed from JESUS' wounds, so look no where else for peace with God. Place your confidence in Christ, no one else. May the Holy Ghost reveal your evil self to You, Today, and then reveal the Beauty and Sufficiency of Christ to you: Ye must be Born Again, you must pass from your deadness into JESUS' Eternal Life, and be translated from your darkness into His marvelous Light. It would Delight JESUS most of all to save your Soul today.
Be wise while God's Mercy still calls to you: make sure work for Eternity. Knowing the terrors of the LORD, I beseech you in Christ's stead, Be ye Reconciled to God by Faith in GOD'S BLOOD. Awake to God's RIGHTEOUSNESS, Make sure work for your Soul, never be content until you know your Soul is Safe with JESUS, and your Sins have been put away forever by His Precious Blood. Never be satisfied with outward religion, religious knowledge, or a mere Christian profession. The second birth, the Regeneration of your Soul by the Spirit of God, must be as real to you spiritually as your physical birth is to you naturally. Saving Faith depends solely on God's true promises, upon the sure word His testimony, upon the Record that God gave of His Son in the Holy Scriptures. True faith is fixed, not upon feelings or personal goodness, but upon the living Person of Jesus Christ. HE is the Lamb of God Who can take away your Sins. JESUS is God's true Passover Lamb, Who gave Himself as the atoning Sacrifice for sinners.
The whole matter hinges on you personally receiving Christ into your emptiness and deadness, or you'll meet your final doom at the Judgment to come. The great question is this: Have you personally received Christ by Faith into your innermost being? Have you entrusted your Soul to Him alone? Or are you still depending upon your own righteousness, your own works, or your own religion? Outside of Christ there is no Eternal Refuge from the judgment to come.
See to it, that You have a personal interest and Trust in the Lamb of God's Innocent BLOOD, that takes away human sins. See to it, that you handle the vital matter of your Soul's Salvation very wisely. Handle the salvation of your soul with the greatest seriousness, for nothing in this world is more valuable than your eternal destiny. Shake off your evil companions, vile partners, wicked cohorts before they lead you off into Hell with them. Seek the Holy Spirit's help and guidance as seek Christ in God's words found in the HOLY BIBLE: The LORD JESUS CHRIST is the RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD personified and revealed to the world; HE is the very living embodiment of TRUE HOLINESS. In JESUS alone is God well pleased. Please stop trying to earn favor and acceptance with God by your own efforts; you'll never get there. Stop trying to be good enough or religious enough to satisfy God's Divine Justice, that is like climbing a greased Mount Everest, you're never getting to the summit.
Christ bore your sins in His own body, He really suffered for your sins, He actually died for your sins, the JUST for the just, The RIGHTEOUS LAMB for the ungodly sinner. JESUS became SIN in your place and endured the wrath/justice/vengeance of God in your stead while He hung naked, bleeding to death on THE CROSS for your sinful Soul.

Every passing day is bringing you nearer to eternity. If God permits you to keep on living, the health and strength you know trust will gradually leave you, your youthful vigor will fade as the leaf, you will become frail and feeble, you cheeks will become hollow, your complexion will grow sallow, your bright eyes will dim, your lovely face withered, your physical strength diminished, your muscular vigor drained, the sun of your short heyday of human strength will soon be setting, your muscular frame will begin to deteriorate and rock and reel, your teeth will begin to decay and rot, you hair will gray and whiten, spotted skin, drooping chest, bright mind starts to flicker, eloquent oratory changes to muttering, mumbling from toothless jaws. All the glory of your once-sharp mind darkened by human wisdom will begin to fail and malfunction, your steps will become slow and unstable, the symptoms of decay will reveal themselves from head to toe. The beauty, strength, wisdom, and glory of this present life will wither like the grass. From the crown of your head to the soles of your feet, the marks of mortality will steadily appear. In life's brief journey, you willfully follow hard after the error of your ways, neglecting your Soul, rejecting Christ, despising His Gospel, slighting His ATONEMENT, ruining your Soul. While your body slowly dies, your soul rushes toward an eternity without God.
Soon you must stand before God alone all by yourself. Soon you'll have to walk the rotten plank of your own righteousness which hovers over the Lake of Fire. You may trust it now, but it will collapse beneath you. No amount of morality, religion, good intentions, or human effort can support a guilty sinner before the perfect justice of your Holy Maker. You won't get far. God is angry with the wicked every day, you're condemned already, the wrath of God abides on you, because you believe not on the Son of God, Who gave Himself for your sins.
You're like a condemned prisoner dancing and partying with a maniacal laugh in his death cell while the hour of his execution draws near. With sins' chains and shackles and your iniquities' cords about your wrists and ankles now, you're facing a Judgment you cannot get past in your own righteousness. You could drop down dead any moment now. If you knew for a fact, that you would only live another week, you would spend six days living it up, sinning against God all you could. With the noose around your neck, while your feet are setting on the deadly "drop," you still mock at Christ's claims, you deny His deity and Godhead, you impugn His Righteousness, you hatch jokes about the Gospel, and jest about the Cross. But very soon, God will pull back the curtain of Time and you will see Eternity, and you will see for yourself your long home, Hell Fire. Every breath you take is an undeserved gift of mercy. You are not promised tomorrow. Before another sunrise, your soul may be required of you.
Your self-righteous hope is as fragile as a spider's web; Your confidence in your own goodness is only a pleasant dream that will become a dreadful Nightmare, if you remain outside of Christ. Death is pursuing you on his pale horse every day; the skeleton rider is rattling after you at tremendous speed, and Hell follows after him, but you still neglect your Soul. Every funeral reminds us that life is but a vapor. Every ticking clock announces that our appointed hour is drawing nearer. You fritter away precious days, and squander priceless years. Human nature says, "Just leap before you look, enjoy sinning while you can, think little of Eternity, forget about Forever, risk your Soul's damnation for this world's pleasures, only think of today." This is the strangest madness of human nature. For your rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and your stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you have rejected the words of the LORD JESUS CHRIST. To reject the Lord Jesus Christ is to reject God's only remedy for your Sins. For you, there remains no other sacrifice, no other Savior, and no other way of reconciliation with God.
God's Word declares that rebellion against Him is a grievous sin, and stubborn refusal to submit to His truth is a form of idolatry. To reject the Lord Jesus Christ is to reject God's only remedy for sin. There remains no other sacrifice, no other Savior, and no other way of reconciliation with God. Yet there is still Hope—glorious Hope—for your Soul today. The same Jesus whom you have neglected is able to save you completely. He lived the perfect life you have failed to live. He bore the judgment that guilty sinners deserved. Upon the cross He shed His precious blood as the full and sufficient atonement for sin, and then He cried, "It is FINISHED!" His work of redemption is complete. Do not trust yourself another moment. Do not delay until old age, sickness, or your dying bed. Come to Christ now. Repent of your sin. Cast yourself wholly upon Him. Trust in His precious blood alone for your acceptance before God. Whoever comes to Him, He will never cast out. Today the door of mercy still stands open. Tomorrow it may be closed forever. "Behold, NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of Salvation."
Turn ye, why will ye die in your sins without Christ? Let the wicked forsake his way, which seemeth right to him. Christ Crucified is lifted up again before you now, The Incarnate Creator is bleeding, His wounds are streaming with GOD'S BLOOD, His own life's blood is being shed for your transgressions and iniquities. Sinner, Believe on JESUS, Trust to His Precious Blood, Receive His True Righteousness, and your Soul is Saved For Evermore.
Time is flying by so swiftly, Eternity is approaching you stealthily, apprehensions of death spook you at times, Death and Judgment are silently drawing closer to you. Think much of JESUS, Consider GOD'S BLOOD, Receive the Lamb of God Who can take away your sins. Anytime now, death will come up into your windows. You attempt to neglect JESUS, laugh at Him to scorn, trifle with His Atonement, and you try to make empty excuses for rejecting Him. But the hour is coming, the time is near, death will be confronting you personally, all your earthly nonsense will end, the curtain of eternal Reality will be pulled back by the hand of God, the solemn hour will finally come, and you'll find yourself on the very brink of the region of Eternity without a lifeboat, and your dark Soul will be hurried to the Judgment bar of God. If you continue to neglect/reject Christ Himself, you deny HIM at your everlasting peril. You'll soon hear these terrifying words: "Depart from Me, ye cursed, into Everlasting Fire; Depart from Me, ye that work iniquity." Consider this now: The certainty of death and the judgment to come; the futility of your self-righteousness; the eternal Danger of rejecting Christ; the solemn call to flee to Christ now; the sufficiency of Christ's Atonement; the perfection of Christ's Righteousness; the present invitation from God for you to believe on THE LAMB OF GOD and HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD.
The Way of Salvation is clearly published in the Holy Scriptures. No other Truth has had more errors uttered about it than the Simple Gospel of Christ. The Faith which saves the Soul, simply and solely trusts in Christ's BLOOD and RIGHTEOUSNESS. The Holy Spirit uses the LAW to help you sense your deadly sins and endless imperfections; The Spirit of God must aid you in understanding that you need Christ's Perfection. Your sins will humble you before God, and lead you to lay hold on Christ Jesus Himself as your Soul's only Refuge from the wrath to come. Christ Jesus, all by Himself, has FINISHED the Atonement and attained the Righteousness, that your lost, dead Soul needs to be covered with before God. Your Soul must be saved through living Faith in the Precious Blood, and through the Regenerating power of the Holy Ghost. Such RIGHTEOUSNESS is too perfect for you to attain, and this RIGHTEOUSNESS is too HOLY for you to achieve, God's RIGHTEOUSNESS from Christ Jesus must given, granted, imparted, imputed to your wicked Soul. Come to Christ today. Do not delay. Receive JESUS by Faith in GOD'S BLOOD while the door of Mercy stands open. For "he that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life."
Though you may busy yourself with the cares and pleasures of this world, death and judgment are silently drawing closer. One day, sooner than you imagine, your appointed hour will come. Therefore, think much upon the Lord Jesus Christ. Consider the precious blood He shed upon the CROSS. Behold the Lamb of God, Who alone is able to take away the sins of the world. Do not neglect so great Salvation. Do not laugh at His Gospel, make light of JESUS atoning sacrifice, or excuse yourself for refusing Him. Every excuse that seems convincing today will vanish when you stand before the judgment seat of God. The day is coming when the curtain separating time from eternity will be drawn back by the hand of God. The business of this world will suddenly end. Your soul will leave your body and stand before its holy Creator. On that day, riches, reputation, education, pleasures, and earthly accomplishments will all disappear. Nothing will remain except your standing before God.
If you continue to reject the Lord Jesus Christ, you reject your only Hope of salvation. There is no other Savior, no other sacrifice for sin, and no other refuge from the wrath to come. To die without Christ is to face eternity without God's Mercy, and to hear these dreadful words from Christ at the Great White Throne Judgment: "Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire." How infinitely wiser it is to hear His gracious invitation today than His righteous sentence on that final day. The way of salvation has been plainly revealed in the Holy Scriptures. Yet no truth has been more misrepresented and misunderstood than the simple Gospel of Christ. Saving faith does not trust in good works, religious ceremonies, personal morality, sincere intentions, or human effort. Saving faith rests wholly upon the Lord Jesus Christ—upon His precious blood and His perfect Righteousness.
The Holy Spirit uses God's holy law to help you gain consciousness of your sins, exposes the exceeding sinfulness of your sins, and shows you your complete inability to save yourself. As the Holy Spirit reveals your guilt, He also reveals the infinite Sufficiency of Christ's Righteousness. Your sins must humble you before God, so that you will abandon all confidence in your own righteousness, and flee to Christ alone as your only Refuge. The Lord Jesus Christ has completely finished the Atonement, the perfect work of Redemption. Upon the Cross, He made THE full, perfect, and sufficient Atonement for human sin. By His sinless life, JESUS obtained the perfect Righteousness that guilty sinners can never produce for themselves. The RIGHTEOUSNESS that God requires of you, Christ has accomplished perfectly.
Your greatest need is not merely to become a better person, but to receive Christ, be made ALIVE inwardly by the regenerating power of the Holy Spirit. Ye must be Born Again. You must receive, by Faith, the Righteousness of Christ, that God freely gives to all sinners who believe on His Son. God's Righteousness is too perfect for you to earn; God's Righteousness is too Holy for you to achieve, and too glorious for sinful man to produce (Romans 3:23). True Righteousness from God must be given by Grace, credited to your account through Faith in Jesus Christ alone. Do not delay another day. Personally Come to Christ Now. Turn from your sins, and trust wholly in JESUS; Rest your Soul upon His finished work; Receive Him by Faith while the door of Mercy still stands open to you. Today, JESUS freely offers Forgiveness to the guilty, Righteousness to the condemned, Life to the spiritually dead, and Peace to every soul that believes on His Blood. "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life." Whosoever comes to Christ today as a sinner with simple, sincere Faith in HIM will never be cast out.
