WORSHIP THOU HIM

O come, let us worship and bow down: let us kneel before the Lord our maker. For it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and HIM only shalt thou serve. For HE is LORD thy God; Worship thou HIM. Be still, and know that I am God. My meditation of HIM shall be sweet: I will be glad in the Lord. And thus are the secrets of his heart made manifest; and so falling down on his face he will worship God, and report that God is in you of a truth. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the fleshFear God, and give glory to HIM; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship HIM that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of MY mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto ME every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear. For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to ME, and every tongue shall confess to God.

Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped

And the man bowed down his head, and worshipped the LordAnd he said, Blessed be the Lord God of my master Abraham, who hath not left destitute my master of His mercy and His truth: I being in the way, the Lord led me to the house of my master’s brethren. And I bowed down my head, and worshipped the Lord, and blessed the Lord God of my master Abraham, which had led me in the right way to take my master’s brother’s daughter unto his son. And it came to pass, that, when Abraham’s servant heard their words, he worshipped the Lord, bowing himself to the earth.

And the people believed: and when they heard that the Lord had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped. It is the sacrifice of the Lord’s passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped

And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door. Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel. And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the Lord appeared unto them.

Then the Lord opened the eyes of Balaam, and he saw the angel of the Lord standing in the way, and his sword drawn in his hand: and he bowed down his head, and fell flat on his face

And he said, Nay; but as captain of the host of the Lord am I now come. And Joshua fell on his face to the earth, and did worship, and said unto him, What saith my lord unto his servant? Yet I have left me seven thousand in Israel, all the knees which have not bowed unto Baal, and every mouth which hath not kissed him. And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the glory of the Lord upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the Lord, saying, For HE is good; for His mercy endureth for ever.

And it was so, when Gideon heard the telling of the dream, and the interpretation thereof, that he worshipped, and returned into the host of Israel, and said, Arise; for the Lord hath delivered into your hand the host of Midian. For it came to pass, when the flame went up toward heaven from off the altar, that the angel of the Lord ascended in the flame of the altar. And Manoah and his wife looked on it, and fell on their faces to the ground.

And they rose up in the morning early, and worshipped before the Lord, and returned, and came to their house to Ramah: and Elkanah knew Hannah his wife; and the Lord remembered her. And Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem fell before the Lord, worshipping the Lord.  Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped

And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished. And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped. Ezra blessed the Lord, the great God. And all the people answered, Amen, Amen, with lifting up their hands: and they bowed their heads, and worshipped the Lord with their faces to the ground. And they stood up in their place, and read in the book of the law of the Lord their God one fourth part of the day; and another fourth part they confessed, and worshipped the Lord their God.

As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the Lord. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spake. Then brought he me the way of the north gate before the house: and I looked, and, behold, the glory of the Lord filled the house of the Lord: and I fell upon my face.

And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped HIM: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto HIM gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh. And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship HIM. God is a Spirit: and they that worship HIM must worship HIM in spirit and in truth.

And it came to pass, when He was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought Him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God, and fell down on his face at JESUS' feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan. And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?

Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped Him, saying, Of a truth Thou art the Son of God. But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel. Then came she and worshipped HIM, saying, Lord, help me. And he said, Lord, I believe. And he worshipped Him. While he spake these things unto them, behold, there came a certain ruler, and worshipped HIM, saying, My daughter is even now dead: but come and lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.

And JESUS went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O My Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from Me: nevertheless not as I will, but as Thou wilt. And they worshipped HIM, and returned to Jerusalem with great joy.

But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up. And he departed thence, and entered into a certain man’s house, named Justus, one that worshipped God, whose house joined hard to the synagogue. And when he had thus spoken, he kneeled down, and prayed with them all. And they all wept sore, and fell on Paul’s neck, and kissed him.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, of whom the whole family in heaven and earth is named. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted HIM, and given HIM a name which is above every name: that at the name of JESUS every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God. And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshipped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia.
