JESUS has done for my Soul what no mere man could ever have done, and I am resting all my Soul's eternal Safety and Salvation for time and Eternity upon JESUS, the only One who is Able to Save me to the Uttermost, because He is God in human flesh. JESUS stood in my place, and suffered in my stead. The INFINITE Creator became an infant at Bethlehem; JEHOVAH became a Jewish man with real Precious Blood, He stood in the sinner's place, and His Blood Atonement for human sin has infinite Value. The Christ of God Himself really came to Earth, with real Blood, and offered up Himself as a real ATONEMENT to take away my real sins which I really committed against God. JEHOVAH Himself in the person of Jesus of Nazareth bore my sins in His own body on the Tree to Ransom my Soul from the wrath to come. My God bled for me personally on Calvary's Cross, that I might Live with Him for evermore.
Here is how to discern Truth from a lie: Truth honors and exalts God as the Creator, Truth glorifies Christ Jesus, Truth points to the words of Truth, Truth puts down man's righteousness and human efforts. God made everything good, and you have made a mess of it. The Spirit of Truth magnifies Christ's Atonement and Glories only in the Cross.
If someone teaches you that man has any natural goodness, and not hopelessly fallen as the Bible says, and that man can do something to help save himself, and that man's efforts can meet with God's Grace halfway, and that man can assist a little in his Salvation, or at any rate, that man can help preserve himself from falling and hold on through his own way and LIVE IT - this is the glorification of man and dishonors Christ. This type of teaching is not of God, it is of man and Satan. Cast this type of teaching on the dunghill where it belongs.
JESUS' bloody death made full ATONEMENT for all my sins, and He has Justified my Soul in the sight of God. I could never achieve my own Salvation; I could never attain/establish a Perfect righteousness which God demands of me, but JESUS did. JESUS paid for all my sins, and attained a perfect Righteousness. Human nature is conceited, heady, highminded, and self-righteous. I have trusted God's Son and rested fully in His perfect Atonement. I have stooped to be saved by Another's Righteousness. Justified by Faith in the Substitute's sinless Atonement, Regenerated by the Holy Ghost, Free Salvation by simple Faith in JESUS' Precious Blood; this is the Gospel Way.
JESUS was wounded for my transgressions, He bore my Sins in His own body on the Tree. For my guilt, JESUS gave me Pardon, and as my Atonement He bled and died, that the LAW and Divine Justice could be satisfied, and all my Sins were laid on Him. My transgressions are gone forever all because JESUS was wounded for me. JESUS did all this for me. The natural man with a carnal mind is the enemy of God, and a child of the devil. Man's wicked pride and vile self-righteousness will land him in the lake of fire. Sooner or later, you'll stand before your Maker and give account to HIM for the life you have lived here on Earth. Prepare to meet thy God; flee to JESUS from the wrath to come.
JESUS who was smitten instead of me was most truly God as well as most certainly man. JESUS stood in my place and offered a Perfect Righteousness which He wrought all by Himself, and a complete Atonement which He bled and died to accomplish for me, so I could be made accepted in the beloved. I couldn't make myself acceptable in God's sight, but I received Christ, and He made me accepted forever before God. The only way of Peace with God for me is through JESUS' suffering in my place. My debts to God I could never pay, not one in a million of them, because I am bankrupt and have nothing to pay, so Christ's Precious Blood paid all my debts. I could not make an Atonement for my sins. I believe in JESUS and claim His Atonement for my own.
My every day sins must be blotted out by the real living Savior Who came into the world to save sinners by suffering the Vengeance and Divine Justice of God which is due to my sins. I am now Righteous in God's sight through the Righteousness which was given/imputed to my Soul, and now all that JESUS is and did is mine freely. JESUS' matchless Righteousness, His spotless Atonement, is all mine forever, and His Precious Blood has washed away all my sins and guilt. My Soul is now whiter than snow and without spot before the eyes of the all-seeing Creator.
The great Holy Microscope of the Divine LAW discovers that even one sinful thought destroys all your hopes of Salvation by your own righteousness. The LAW will cause you to see your many sins in your thoughts, motives, desires, and deeds. For by the LAW is the knowledge of Sin. Forsake all your self-righteousness and vain superstitions once and for all. Justification by Faith: sinful men who believe in Jesus Christ are accounted JUST at the Judgment to come. You have sinned against God, and it is inevitable that all Sin must be followed by punishment.
Shall not the Judge of all the Earth do Right? A judge who does not punish crimes does not do Right, but neglects his office. God is all LOVE, and as a necessary consequence, He is also sternly HOLY and JUST. God must punish your Sins, and every one of your transgressions must have its just recompense of reward. But JESUS in love to your Soul, came into this evil world, and took upon Himself human flesh, the Godhead was veiled in human flesh. And JESUS being found in fashion as a man, He suffered in your place the full penalty was was due to the Law of God for you. JESUS took your sins and their curse/wrath upon Himself, and upon the Cross by His bloody death, put away sins.
Only remember this: The Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the Savior of sinners suffered in the place of the guilty. If you want to go to Heaven, trust Jesus Christ; if you want to spend eternity in Hell, just trust something else. You will not go to Hell and burn for sinning; you will go to Hell for rejecting the only Cure for your Sins - The Son of God's Precious Blood. The Free, Priceless Cure for your Sins is available to you Now, and when you reject HIM, you personally commit spiritual suicide and condemn your Soul to Hell forever. Your personal refusal to Receive Christ will guarantee your permanent damnation to the Lake of Fire.
JESUS IS THE actual, literal, all-sufficient Substitute for sinners. You can have full acceptance with God now through Faith in His Precious Blood, as well as Access to God, Acceptance in the Beloved, Adoption into the family of God, and Eternal union with Christ. It is safest for your Soul to rely only upon the Blood and Righteousness of JESUS CHRIST. Personally lay hold on Eternal Life; Receive Christ Himself into your emptiness. It is most wise for you to trust in the Sinless Savior than to trust in your sinful self. It is better for your Soul to be washed throughly in JESUS' Precious Blood, than for you to think you can make your own Soul clean by your own vain selfish attempts. Safety is of the LORD: Whoso putteth His trust in the Lord Jesus Christ shall be eternally safe. That Soul will be Safe when he is feeling well, sick, rich, poor, dying, at the resurrection, on the Day of Judgment, and perfectly safe in the world to come, and in the ages to come.
