WORSHIP IN SPIRIT

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him. God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth. A man's pride shall bring him low: but honour shall uphold the humble in spirit. Better is the end of a thing than the beginning thereof: and the patient in spirit is better than the proud in spirit. Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

* He shall offer it of his own voluntary will
* Every man that giveth it willingly with his heart.
* Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
* And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewel of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.
* The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank Thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that Thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in Thy sight. Not slothful in business; fervent in spirit; serving the Lord. Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.

For they shall return unto Me with their whole heart. My God, that Thou triest the heart, and hast pleasure in uprightness. Shout for Joy, all ye that are upright in heart. Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart. I will praise Thee with uprightness of heart. Do good, O LORD, unto those that be good, and to them that are upright in their hearts. But such as are upright in their way are His delight. With my whole heart have I sought Thee; I intreated Thy favour with my whole heart; I cried with my whole heart, hear me, O LORD.

Then the people rejoiced, for that they offered willingly, because with perfect heart they offered willingly to the LORD. The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly. Behold, Thou desiredest Truth in the inward parts. I will put My Law in their inward parts, and write in their hearts.

Not with eyeservice, as menpleasers; but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart; With good will doing service, as to the Lord, and not to men. And whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God and the Father by Him. And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men. Whatsoever ye eat, or drink, or whatsoever ye do, do all to the glory of God. But God be thanked, that ye were the servants of sin, but ye have obeyed from the heart that form of doctrine which was delivered you. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness.

But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God. But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his. Are ye so foolish? having begun in the Spirit, are ye now made perfect by the flesh?

* Amasiah the son of Zichri who willingly offered himself unto the LORD.
* She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.
* But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself.
* Paul purposed in the spirit, when he had passed through Macedonia and Achaia.

This I say then, Walk in the Spirit, and ye shall not fulfil the lust of the flesh. If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit. Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. And be renewed in the spirit of your mind. For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh. Who also declared unto us your love in the Spirit.

And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory. For for this cause was the gospel preached also to them that are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship Him.  God is a Spirit: and they that worship Him must worship Him in spirit and in truth.
