Veteran's Day Thoughts

A Few Thoughts on Veteran's Day -- Freedom in America is not enjoyed by accident; there's no such thing as evolution when it comes to Freedom. American freedom is being enjoyed right now due to the blood, sweat and tears of 498,642 soldiers, 327,862 sailors, 308,016 airmen, and 202,516 marines on active duty presently serving, deployed and fighting around the world. This is a total of 1,337,036 active duty members. The entire population of the United States of America (318,900,000) is relying on a small percentage of .042% of self-sacrificing, patriotic individuals. That's less than one half of one percent of our population keeping our entire country free. The population keeps growing, but the number of active duty military keeps decreasing thanks to obama and ebt cards. Think about that! How often do you remember the active duty military, pray for them, thank them, or encourage them?

By the way, spiritual freedom is not enjoyed by accident either - The Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, bore our sins in His own body and endured blood, sweat, and tears, and laid down His own life on Calvary's Cross, so we could be freely rescued from Sin's tyranny. When's the last time you thanked *Him* for that?  It is Finished, Through His Blood, Worthy is the Lamb, End of Story!  Career religionists ($$$-cha-ching) will never tell you this.

Real Freedom is never Free; it always costs someone behind the scenes a great deal for you to be Free.
