In order for medicine to help a man, it must be requested, taken, and received into himself. The Gos-pill must be received into your soul, or you will die in your sins. Care much about your soul, keep in touch with Jesus. The merciful Savior endears us unworthy sinners to Himself by His goodness and kindness. You have broken God's law, you are lost in the darkness of sin, you have rejected God's Son, you are condemned already, and the wrath of God abides on you. You are an enemy to the true and living God who created you.
Men deny there is a God, or wish there was no God, or think God is just as they are. In your natural state, you are facing a dreadful future, a terrible world to come, that is, the Lake of Fire. You are running from God, denying His Son, and neglecting the Holy Spirit's call. You have lived up until now an utterly ungodly life, nevertheless you can still come humbly and contritely to the feet of Jesus Christ and believe that He came into the world to save guilty men from sin, and unfeignedly trust to Him.
Be sensible of your sinful state, you need the Mediator. Do not carelessly walk off into the volcano's mouth of Hell. You need a Substitute, Mediator, Advocate, Propitiation, Savior - The Incarnate God. Seek free pardon at Jesus' hands, look only to His Blood for free Forgiveness. Pour out your soul in full trust to Jesus. The dying Lamb of God bore your sins' penalty and punishment. Come now and leave your deadly load of sin at the foot of the Cross. Quit your evil ways and wicked thoughts. Break off your sins by Christ's Righteousness. Old waspish sins will pursue and frighten you as long as stay away from the Savior. You can have all this world's pleasures, and still be empty. This world will disappoint, distract and damn you.
The only way you can get free forgiveness of sins is through childlike Faith in the blood and merits of Jesus Christ. Adore His mercy, magnify His love, accept His grace, yield to the working of the Holy Spirit, and you are saved on the spot. The Gospel is the only Remedy for sins. Faith springs up in your soul at the Cross in the presence of the great Substitute. Receive Christ into your body and soul by faith, loathe every evil thought and way. True repentance and faith looks only to the wounds of Christ for cleansing and freedom for the power and guilt of sin. Hang the whole weight of your soul on the gracious Crucified Creator. *Romans 5:8-11*
Jesus Christ loved me and died for me personally. He shed His blood on Calvary's Cross for me. I have been freely forgiven all my trespasses, not for my sake, but for Christ's sake alone. Something happened to me the day I met Jesus Christ that had never happened to me before, and has never happened to me since, and could never happen to me again. All the education, travel, learning, science, technology, and wisdom of this world could not do for me what Jesus Christ did for me instantly when I trusted to His name. Jesus stood up for me and took my own sins in His own body on the Cross. Jesus bled and died for me naked publicly as a criminal on a Cross. He rose from the dead and is still alive right now. Jesus wasn't ashamed me, and I am not ashamed of Him. You have a right to be ashamed of anyone but Jesus Christ. Be ashamed of yourself, but never be ashamed of Jesus Christ before this world. If you love Jesus, you will try to keep His words. *John 14:23*
Care much about your soul, your own soul, your only soul, your never-dying soul which is in deadly jeopardy without Christ. Mourn over your sinful condition. Satan is the ultimate God hater and soul deceiver. You are a sinner unforgiven, a rebel against God, you have enmity in your heart against your Best Friend, what an awful state you are in without Christ. Eternity is coming soon, Judgment is just around the corner. Make the Lamb of God your central thought - make Him the Soul of your soul. Pay close attention now, put calm trust in the crucified and risen Son of God. Human nature foolishly pursues attention, perks, stuff, connections, money. Believe in God's way of free salvation by Christ, pardon by His blood, Atonement by His Sacrifice, Justification by His Righteousness, and acceptance with God through Christ's Person.
Claim Jesus as your personal Sin-Bearer at once. Put all your trust in His Blood now. A little bit of Jesus, and a little a bit of your works will damn your soul for sure. You will soon be driven by Time into the corner of Death - it is inevitable. Give great attention to your soul's eternal interests. The stakes are high - do not risk your soul. I beg you to pay attention. Christ's sheep hear His voice - the chief mark of the saved soul is attention and adherence to Christ's words. Christ Jesus, the sinner's Substitute, poured out His soul unto death, bearing our sin in His own body and the penalty due to sin. Cling to this great Truth, the chief teaching and theme of the Gospel - the Incarnate God's Atoning Bloody Sacrifice for sinners.
The very soul of the Gospel is the Atonement by Christ's bloody death. The marvel of time, history, and Eternity is the atoning death of God Incarnate. Look to the person, work, name, love, and grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. Salvation by Christ Jesus is to be had for nothing, as a free gift of grace. Invite and embrace the Lord Jesus Christ. Evil thoughts are the beginning of every sin against God. Get salvation, forgiveness, and mercy for your soul directly from Heaven by personally dealing with the Savior. You have broken God's law continually throughout your life, the Just God must punish every sin of yours, the consequences for your sins is Death, so Jesus had to suffer and die for you.
Jesus bore your sins, He took your Sin upon Himself, and was punished for your sins in your place, and took sin away. *John 1:27; II Corinthians 5:21* God came down to earth as a Jewish man, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus was an innocent man without any sin, but He bore the sins of the whole world, the collective guilt of every man weighed down on His soul. The very One who knew no sin became Sin for us. Jesus took the condemnation, curse and wrath which human sin brings with it. Through simple faith in Christ's Atoning Blood, we receive freely the Righteousness of Christ. We become Righteous in the eyes of God through the perfect Righteousness of Jesus Christ. Sinful humanity can now become Righteous only through faith in Jesus Christ the Righteous who assumed our guilt and died in our place. Now God doesn't hold my sins against me for Jesus' sake. The Holy Spirit is the only Sanctifier of the human heart - ask Him to fill you and prepare you for your daily tasks.

- What will you do in the end without Jesus Christ?
- What are your wishes, wants, and desires?
- Have you ever been saved from the love of sin?
- Will you have Salvation freely?
- Are you more concerned about your image, social standing and reputation, than witnessing for Jesus Christ?
- Do you really believe that you are a sinner deserving God's wrath and fires of Hell forever?
- Have you not had quite enough of sin? What profit have you received from sinning against God?
- Do you have a personal interest in the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God?
- Do you hate your sins that made Jesus die?
- How many times a day do you praise and thank God? *Psalm 35:28*
- Have you any other confidence besides that which you have in Christ?
- If you die unregenerate, are you ready to face your guilt and divine justice in the hereafter?
- Are you subject to Christ's will? Is God in command of you?
- Do you ever have any fears about your future after death?
- Are you weary in well-doing?
- Are you anxious about your family members and friend's souls?
- Have you ever gone to Christ with your whole heart and soul? Have you sought Him with all your might?

- Are you unhappy? Do you long to find something that will give you peace and satisfaction within?
- Do you have a holy hungering and thirsting for more of Jesus Christ?
- Have you spoken personally to your friend or neighbor about his soul?
- Have you been trying to make yourself better before you come to Christ?
- Have you been born again, or are you still what you were by nature, in your sins without any renewal by the Holy Spirit?
- Do you seek God diligently? How much of the Scriptures have you read during the last week? How much time have you spent in prayer? How much have you lived for God during the past week? What have you done distinctly for God's glory? What souls have you tried to win? What way have you tried to exhort a struggling brother? What virtues have you tried to show forth through your testimony and deeds?
- What have you been doing lately that is wrong? Is there any secret sin that is keeping you defeated, sad and sorrowful? What is the source of the evil you commit? Have you been neglecting the reading of the Word of God? Have you been lax in private prayer of late? Have you been getting covetous and growing tighter in the fist with your money? Have you been getting more worldly? Do you witness less about Christ than you used to do, and speak more about vanity? Have you been mixing with bad company? Are you entangled with a so-called friend who is no help to you, but who really hinders you greatly in spiritual things? Have you been forming some associations that you know Christ does not approve of? Have you been letting things go a little amiss in your business affairs? Have been lazy on the job? Have you fallen out with your Christian brother, neighbor, or family member, and cannot forgive them? Have you had a quarrel with someone and are refusing to reconcile the relationship?
