Surely

But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it:  for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.  And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:  For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.  He that smiteth a man, so that he die, shall be surely put to death. And he that killeth any man shall surely be put to death.

Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.  Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.  Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever.  Surely every man is vanity.  Surely men of low degree are vanity, and men of high degree are a lie: to be laid in the balance, they are altogether lighter than vanity.  Surely I have behaved and quieted myself, as a child that is weaned of his mother: my soul is even as a weaned child.

Surely the righteous shall give thanks unto Thy name: the upright shall dwell in Thy presence.  Surely the LORD scorneth the scorners: but He giveth grace unto the lowly.  He that walketh uprightly walketh surely: but he that perverteth his ways shall be known.  Though a sinner do evil an hundred times, and his days be prolonged, yet surely I know that it shall be well with them that fear God, which fear before Him.  Surely the Lord Jesus Christ hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem Him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; and thou givest him not warning, nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.  Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word.  He which testifieth these things saith, Surely I come quickly. Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus.
