Salvation or Damnation?

Depraved human nature says "do your own thing, believe in your own way, believe in yourself, rely on your own devotion and sincerity, make it your own way, one religion is just as good as another, as long as I'm sincere and do MY best, and follow MY conscience, that's all that matters; no one is going to tell ME what to believe and how to live MY life." Self-righteous human nature says, "I'll believe what I want to believe, and no one is going to tell ME any different, I'll come to God MY way, I'll earn MY own way, I will worship God any old way I choose, I know better than God." Self-righteousness is the way of Cain. Carnal human nature says, "Rely on self-sacrifice, not Christ's Blood Sacrifice." Human nature sets up its own righteousness in opposition to Christ's Righteousness. The carnal mind defies the Gospel, and takes issue with God's way of free salvation, and cannot endure to simply trust the finished work of Jesus Christ. Human nature says, "There is much natural goodness in men, and they must believe in Jesus, and work it out and gradually improve themselves into a state of grace that make them acceptable in God's sight."

Degraded human nature says, "Be good as you ever can, and trust to Jesus Christ to make up the rest, It is not enough to simply trust what Christ has done, you must do sufficient good works to earn your salvation on top of what Jesus Christ did on the Cross. I prefer MY own righteousness to Christ's Righteousness." This is clean opposite of the Gospel of Christ. Self-righteousness flies in the faces of God, impugns His Gospel, insults His Son, and robs Him of His glory. No man will ever look to the Righteousness of Another while he remains satisfied with his own righteousness. A man will never renounce his self-righteousness until he truly sees his sin-full-ness. The Holy Ghost must reveal to a man that his sin is a damnable and hateful evil. Your sins are a horrible and detestable thing to God. You must loathe yourself, and flee to Christ's Atoning Blood for refuge and cleansing. None of God's goodness and mercy is deserved by you. Through Jesus' blood alone, God's mercies come to undeserving sinners.

Proud human nature boasts, "I've never wronged anybody, I've been honest in my business transactions, I've brought up my children respectably, I've always paid my bills on time, I've never disgraced my character, I'm a civil man, and don't use bad language, I go to church sometimes. If anyone is going to heaven, I should. I'm much better than most men."

The Bible says, You are a sinner, and you cannot come to God by your own righteousness. You cannot enter God's presence as you are. You are not acceptable in God's sight. The only way of entrance is if some Innocent Victim sheds its blood to pay for your sins. Only then can you enter God's presence. God needs to straighten you out. You must come to God His way. Christ died for the ungodly. Sin makes a fool out of you. Sin makes you afraid of God, and separates you from God. Sin causes you to blame others, pass the buck. An Innocent Victim shed His blood for you on Calvary's Cross. Human sin and guilt can only be taken away by the Lamb of God Himself (John 1:29). The main trouble behind all of your surface troubles is Sin Trouble. Religious performance cannot mask or cover up your sin trouble.

You can try to deny it, but the facts are the facts. We all have sinned often and miserably against a holy God. We have lived without regard to His commandments and denied His Son's love. But thanks be to God, Forgiveness is the act of mercy whereby the offended party chooses to forego the inflicting of judgment, punishment, and wrath though it is in His power to execute such. God for the sake of the shed blood of Jesus Christ has mercy on a sinner, the moment the sinner puts their faith and trust in the finished cross-work of Jesus Christ. God in mercy chooses to withhold judgment due to our sins for Jesus' sake. God delights in mercy, He wants to pardon every sinner, not even the score. Forgiveness cannot be earned, you can't be worthy of divine mercy. We are not worth forgiving, but God forgives unworthy sinners for Jesus' sake alone. God doesn't has to forgive you, but He is merciful only because of what Jesus did for us. Fear not, Christ Jesus died for sinners, you are a sinner, so Christ died for you.

Only the Blood of Christ can quieten your nagging guilty conscience. The only thing that will matter in Eternity is did you leave this life with your sins forgiven by the shed blood of God manifest in the flesh (Christ Jesus), or did you did in your sins trying to do it your own way. You need your sins forgiven as soon as possible through real faith in the Blood of Jesus Christ. Sinners today are so distracted, misled, and deceived. From your childhood up to now, you have had one great need and that is the Forgiveness of Sins (Colossians 1:14; Acts 13:38-39; Acts 26:18; Ephesians 1:7). You are perilously close to Hell. Forsake your good works and your bad works, all of them will damn you. Your soul has a death sentence on it. It's either Salvation or Damnation. It's your choice. Lord Jesus, please cleanse me from all my sin through Your Atoning Blood now.

Diligence - A Bible Word

Diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God. Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently. I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search. Thou hast commanded us to keep thy precepts diligently. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich. He that diligently seeketh good procureth favour: but he that seeketh mischief, it shall come unto him. The hand of the diligent shall bear rule: but the slothful shall be under tribute. The slothful man roasteth not that which he took in hunting: but the substance of a diligent man is precious. The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing: but the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

The thoughts of the diligent tend only to plenteousness; but of every one that is hasty only to want. Seest thou a man diligent in his business? he shall stand before kings; he shall not stand before mean men. Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds. Wherefore do ye spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfieth not? hearken diligently unto Me, and eat ye that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness. Diligently obey the voice of the LORD your God.

Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece, doth not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find it? Or he that exhorteth, on exhortation: he that giveth, let him do it with simplicity; he that ruleth, with diligence; he that sheweth mercy, with cheerfulness. Therefore, as ye abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love to us, see that ye abound in this grace also. But without faith it is impossible to please Him: for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him.

Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled. Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. And beside this, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue; and to virtue knowledge; And to knowledge temperance; and to temperance patience; and to patience godliness. Wherefore the rather, brethren, give diligence to make your calling and election sure: for if ye do these things, ye shall never fall. Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless. Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.

A Little Help (3)

The love of Christ constraineth us. Promote truth, friendship, unity, love. Keep the unity of the Spirit. Pray fervently, hear and do God’s word, watch against sin, long to grow in grace, flee youthful lusts. Be not carried about with every wind of doctrine. Don't let your own convictions make you self-righteous, cold, bitter, and useless. Time is getting short, redeem the time, because the days are evil. Stand to your guns, preach the word, cease not to teach and preach Jesus Christ – nothing but the word of God, make full proof of your ministry. Yourself nothing-Christ everything-that is it. Think very little of yourself and very highly of Christ. The joy of the Lord is your strength. Lay aside outward superficial religion, bow at the Cross and ask for genuine inward godliness. God is interested in strengthening you in your inward man, that you might reflect His divine nature, and understand and enjoy Him, and not stuff. Cling to the Hope and Rock of your soul.

Pour out your heart before God. Be content with such things as ye have. Bear patiently sickness, poverty, loss, and persecution. Pray for the rapture. Rest wholly and simply on the Spirit’s power. Be of one mind; live in peace. Cultivate a cheerful disposition – rejoice evermore. I am so very weak – I can do nothing without Jesus. Be afraid of your own heart's sinful tendencies. Shew thyself a pattern of good works; be zealous of good works; maintain good works; provoke unto love and good works. You are accepted in the Beloved, perfect in Christ Jesus, complete in Him. Come what will, trust God still. Trust God; hold fast to that which is good. Cleave to Jesus through thick and thin. Your joy, rest, and safety is in Jesus – abide in Him – submit yourself to His commands. Live close to the Savior in intimate fellowship and consecration.

Remember – worries, doubts, and fears are only reminders to pray. Pant, and long, and sigh for nearer fellowship with Christ Himself. O taste and see that the Lord is good! The flesh is weak, walk not after the flesh, the flesh cannot please God, have no confidence in the flesh, cleanse yourself from all filthiness of the flesh, and make not provision for the flesh. Trust Christ, not yourself. Do the things pleasing in God's sight. Sin shall not have dominion over you. Actively engage in God's service - be helpful and encouraging - rely on the Spirit, not on yourself - always begin with prayer and end with praise. Seek to give someone an earnest, faithful, and affectionate witness. Love holiness and strive for purity. Consider your ways. Ask God for wisdom and common sense. Pray everywhere and about everything - always ask for the Holy Spirit's help. Be thoughtful, caring, tenderhearted, kind, and Christlike.

Remember now thy Creator. Be gentle, courteous, compassionate, considerate, pleasant, and agreeable. Keep thyself pure - maintain a good and clear conscience. Godliness is profitable unto all things. Resist the spirit of unbelief, indifference, and apathy. Sin cripples and maims the drowsy Christian. Keep very low before the Lord. Your safety is to be nothing at all. Abstain from fleshly lusts and secret sins. Behave yourself wisely. Walk humbly with God. Stay in touch with God. Spend much time in secret with Jesus alone. Be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath. Be mindful of your soul’s safety and the health of your inner man. Be kind to God - don't offend your tender Father. Ask God for true faith, real love, and genuine repentance. Abhor yourself, surrender your will to God's divine will - live wholly to Him.

Every ability and possibility, every growth and progress made in knowledge and grace, lay it at Jesus’ feet and give Him the glory. Keep your heart from temporal idols. Be teachable and pliable. Be diligent in business, fervent in spirit, serving the Lord. Hold forth the word of life. Tenderly warn and gently direct others to Christ and His words. Constantly confess your sins to God. Pray much, stick with it, don't give up, day by day call upon God, the answer will soon come, wait on the Lord. God's answers are priceless; they are worth waiting for. Never underestimate your adversary, and never overestimate your own ability. Continue instant in prayer - don't faint, don't quit, keep at it.

Yearn for communion with God. Preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified. Give up all known sin through the power of the Holy Ghost. Have a single eye to God’s glory. Be jealous of your obedience, be circumspect, be careful, take heed to yourself, you cannot be too cautious. Be clothed with humility – put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ. Watch and pray, never neglect prayer. Never trust in your own strength and feelings. Backsliding begins by neglecting the prayer closet. Be sober - watch unto prayer. Read about God-think about God-pray to God-listen to God-love God-yield to God-submit to God-trust God-obey God. Relinquish all trust in self-once and for all, place all your trust in Christ and His works. Cease to be your own master – yield yourself completely to Christ and the constraining power of His bleeding love - make no reserve – make a full and voluntary surrender to God - stand to that surrender, renew it every day.

Fight sin-humbly resort to the Cross. Give the Lord your spirit, soul, body, and everything, neither count your life dear unto yourself - let Christ's love and blood conquer you. God giveth the increase. Jesus can help me – Jesus alone. Addict yourself to the ministry of the saints. Fear God – draw near to Him. Never forget to seek God’s blessing. Let not your heart be troubled – fear not. Hear the word, understand it, bring forth fruit. Jesus bled for your sins - it is your reasonable service to give Him your all. Praise Jesus’ name. Here am I; Lord, send me. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Adorn the doctrine of God in all things. Yield yourself to the mind of Christ in all things. Behold the Lamb of God. Don’t forget, all sinners must believe in Christ or be damned. Whatever happens, still rest on God's promises and love Him still.

Resist and forbear spiritual sloth, slumber, coldness, doubts, hardness, harshness, fickleness, barrenness, complaining, murmuring, formalism, deadness, dullness, drowsiness, worldliness, wanderings, distractions, false teaching - seek the Holy Spirit's guidance, strength, and warmth. Live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Return thanks to God for His blessings. Have faith in God – give up all trust in yourself – rely on God’s word and strength. Where prayer is fervent, God is present. Be ye thankful. God has a plan for your life – get busy doing it. Grieve not the Holy Spirit. Submit to the control of the Holy Spirit. Entirely depend on God's grace for help. The work of the Spirit is your only hope. Always take time to pray. Help the helpless, stay pure for Christ's sake. The Lord be with you for Jesus' sake.

Religion's Maze

Are you trapped today in the religious maze of do's and don'ts? If you are, stop play-acting - stand still, and look to Jesus Christ Himself, behold the Lamb of God, for Everything your longing soul needs. And then, the walls of the religious maze will come tumbling down. There is a great difference between human religion that is made up of “Do, do, do” and Christ's religion that is spelt “D-O-N-E, Done.” He who has Christ's religion of “It is all done,” loves God out of gratitude, and serves Christ because he is saved from wrath, and delivered from the love of sin; but he who has the religion of “DO” is always a slave to men, he never gets salvation, but perishes in his own doings, as they deserve to do who look to themselves, instead of simply looking to Christ's Precious Blood and Perfect Righteousness.

Now understand - Christ is Everything, and you are Nothing (John 3:30). Simply and entirely rest in Jesus Christ, that is all that is needed. Your place is to be nothing at all, just to be a nobody, simply trust and love Jesus Christ, and never trust or love yourself. Blessed is the man that is afraid of his own goodness and self-righteousness. Religion makes a man a proud wind-bag, but the Cross shall put a pin into it. Growing less and less in your own esteem is the right kind of growth. Naturally and physically we grow from childhood into manhood, but spiritually we grow down from manhood to childhood. We must be reduced to a condition of nothingness by the Grace of God. Glad to be nothing, content at His feet, just to let Him be Everything, and let Self sink away. Your safety is to be nothing. You must be poverty, and He must be the riches. You must be the beggar, and He must be the King. Praying will help you leave off sinning, or else sin will make you leave off praying.

You must rely on the Spirit of God, never rely on anything in yourself. Only the Holy Ghost can pop the swelling bubble of religiousness. Once He does, there will nothing left of you. The Holy Spirit must first bring us to extreme spiritual poverty. We must be emptied of our own power. We have nothing to be proud of. Meditate much on Christ's Greatness and your nothingness. There's nothing for you to do, nothing for you to be. Let Christ have the preeminence. You are always safe if you seek to walk humbly with God, and your entire dependence is on the Grace and Mercy of God. Self is nothing but vanity, deceit, and death. Blessed is the man that begins to feel his own emptiness. A sinner has no claim to God's grace, except for Jesus' sake. There is no merit at all in a lost or saved sinner. Let your Bible be everything to you, read it, read it, and read it again; let its precepts rule and transform your life; let its promises cheer your life; let its light gladden your life. As you love God, love His Book (AV 1611). The King James Bible is the King of all books. Blessed is the man that realizes the emptiness of everything else but Christ Jesus.

There must be an utter end of you. Care nothing about glory and honor for yourself, care only for the honor and glory of the Lord Jesus Christ. Your sinfulness should humble you. Leave off being anything, bury self, reckon yourself to be less than nothing, and exalt Christ alone. If you try to be something, then Christ cannot be Everything. Leave off doing, simply let Jesus do. Brokenness, weakness, emptiness, and abject nothingness leads us to the Cross. Beg for more of Jesus' virtue and nature. Believing is not doing anything, believing is to leave off your doing, believing is simply trusting that Christ did it all. This is the only way of safety - Lie low at the feet of Jesus daily. Human pride shrivels into nothingness at the feet of Christ. Be jealous of your obedience to Christ; be circumspect in your walk with God; be careful in your thought life, abhor self-esteem; take heed to yourself; don't be judgmental of others; be cautious of a self-righteous spirit, there is nothing more deadly.

* In Jesus I Trust *

"In God We Trust" is the current national motto of the United States of America. It was declared as such by an act of Congress in 1956, displacing the existing national motto, E Pluribus Unum. One origin of the current motto can be found in the final stanza of "The Star-Spangled Banner," written in 1814 by Francis Scott Key contains one of the earliest references to this phrase: "And this be our motto: "In God is our trust."

The motto of Biblical Christianity is "In Jesus I Trust".

Americans everywhere, everyday, carry and use coins and currency with "In God We Trust" on it, even professing atheists. What exactly are you trusting in today? Are you trusting in God, yourself, your religion, or your bank account? Many Americans trust in their education and bank account; God is not in their thoughts unless there is a crisis like September 11th, or an illness or death in the family. Are you ready to meet God, your Creator, when you die? When you die, you will need to know ‘the God’ that created you, not the ‘god’ you’ve made up in your mind. $100 bills can cover some debts, but they can never cover your soul and its sin debt. You must face a Holy God on Judgment Day. It is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the Judgment. Riches profit not in the day of wrath, but Righteousness of Christ (Romans 10:4) delivereth from death. In order for a sinner to truly seek God, he has to see he has a need first. Just like a man with a tumor, when he feels the lump start growing and experiencing some pain, he will immediately seek the doctor and surgery as soon as possible in order to extend his life a few more years. A man must feel his Sin, just like the tumor, before He seeks and calls out for help.

Would you consider yourself to be a ‘good’ person? Do you keep the Ten Commandments? Let’s see: Have you always loved God with all your heart, soul, strength and mind? No one ever has – we’re all sinners. Only JESUS loved God the Father perfectly all of His life. Have you ever told a lie or deceived someone? If so, that makes you a ‘liar.’ For ‘every idle word’ that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the Day of Judgment. Have you ever stolen anything from anyone? Have you ever being paid for working 40 hours, but you didn't work 40 hours? If you have, then you’re a ‘thief’ in God’s sight. Have you ever talked about someone behind their back? If you have, then you’ve borne ‘false witness’ against your neighbor. Have you ever taken God’s name in vain? If so, then you’re a ‘blasphemer.’ Have you ever sexually eyed or lusted toward someone? If you have, you’ve committed ‘adultery.’ Jesus said, “Whosoever looketh on a woman to lust after her hath committed adultery with her already in his heart.” (Mt 5:28) Have you ever had sex outside of marriage? If so, you’re a ‘fornicator,’ and no fornicator can enter Heaven. (Read I Corinthians 6:9-10) Do you feel your tumor of Sin growing in your soul? Money, education, your good works, or religious superstitions can never remove your sins from your soul. Only the Blood of God that flowed from the veins of the Lord Jesus Christ on Calvary's Cross can save you from the love of sin.

Sin is a rather unpopular subject today among atheists, because they love it so. Fools make a mock at sin. Fools don't take sinning serious. All unrighteousness is SIN. Whatsoever is not of faith is SIN. SIN is the transgression of the divine Law of God. For there is no man which sinneth not. A proud heart, a high look, and the plowing of the wicked is SIN. The wages of SIN is death. To him that knoweth do good, and doeth it not, to him it is SIN. Sin is the condition of the human heart at enmity with God. Sin is any lack of conformity to the will of God found in the Holy Scriptures. Without Christ, you are dead in trespasses and sins. He that believeth not on Jesus is condemned already. For there is not a just man upon the earth, that doeth good, and sinneth not. There is no difference, for all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.

The one damning sin that send men straight to Hell is the rejection of God's Son. Men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are sin. Men hate Jesus without a cause. Many people believe 'about' Jesus all their life, but not ON HIM. Many people believe that Jesus is God's Son, and that He loved us and came to earth to pay the awful penalty for human sin. Many believe Jesus is the only way of salvation, but they have never sensed their hopelessness, helplessness, emptiness and danger. They have never put their entire reliance on Jesus' blood for freedom from the bondage and love of sin. You must trust implicitly on HIM and His atoning blood. The blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth us from ALL SIN.

Nothing else will satisfy the wrath of God but the blood of God. Jesus' blood and nothing more is required. Place all your confidence in what Jesus did for you in dying as a Substitute for you. Whosoever believeth on Him is not condemned. Commit all of your being into Christ's hands at once, depending only upon Him to keep your soul and save it from the wrath to come. Commit everything you are to His care and keeping, depend upon Jesus' to keep the most valuable thing you have - your immortal Soul.
If God judges you by His Ten Commandments, will you wind up in Heaven or Hell? Life is Short, Death is Sure, Sin is the Curse, Christ is the Cure. Since you’ve broken God’s divine law, the Bible says that your soul is dead in sins and the wrath of God abides on you. The soul that sinneth, it shall die. The wages of sin is [still] death. (See John 3:36) God is a Holy and Just Judge, and if you die in your sins, He must give you Justice. Your good works cannot take away, or pay your ‘sin debt,’ or measure up to the Righteousness of JESUS. But, God is Rich in Mercy, and He wants to save you today.

Here’s the Good News: God became a Jewish man; His name was Jesus of Nazareth. Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. JESUS lived a Sinless Life so He could GIVE you His Perfect Righteousness. Then He went to the Cross and suffered, bled, and died for your Sins. He took your punishment and paid your sins’ fine in His life’s blood. Three days later, JESUS arose from the grave victorious over death and hell for you. What are you ‘trusting’ to get you to Heaven? In order to escape the wrath of God on your Sins, you must trust in Jesus Christ’s Precious Blood and Righteousness alone to save you. Your religious deeds and good works are filthy rags and worthless in God’s sight (Isaiah 64:6).

The only way to gain God’s favor is by putting your ‘absolute trust’ in His Precious Son – He is the only Rock and Shelter for your soul. Whosoever shall call upon the name of LORD shall be saved. Flee for your life to Cross of Christ before it is too late. By nature, you are in bondage to your sin. Repent of your inward sinful nature which is killing you; cry out to God for mercy and a new heart, and a new nature today. Dear God, be merciful to me a sinner. I repent of my sinful thoughts and ways. Please wash away my sin with the Precious Blood of Jesus Christ and give me a new heart and a right spirit by your Grace.

Nothing but the Blood!

Your sins are much too big of a problem for you to handle. Your sins are damnable, and shall condemn you unless they are taken away by the Atoning Blood of the living God. What can wash away my sin? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. What can make me whole again? Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. Fix your heart's eyes alone on the Lamb of God and His atoning sacrifice for ungodly sinners. Only Christ Himself can forgive your sins. This is all my hope and peace; This is all my Righteousness - Nothing but the Blood of Jesus. My hope is built on nothing less, than Jesus' Blood and Righteousness. On the Christ the Solid Rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand. Nothing can atone for all my sins but the shed blood of Jesus Christ.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners from the love of sin, and the wrath of God. You and your sins must part, or you will lose your soul. What sin of yours can be worth indulging in at the expense of your soul? No sin can be worth losing your soul forever in the Lake of Fire. You must have the Blood of Christ applied to 'your soul', or you are exposed to the wrath of God. Jesus gave His life and blood, so that sinners could live forever with Him. Plead nothing that looks like human goodness, but come to the Savior in your sins. Your sins deserve death; Christ has suffered a bloody death for your sins. Once you've had the real deal (Jesus Christ), life is never the same - really. Human natures loves to flirt with destruction.

If you dropped dead today, are you ready to meet God in Judgment (Hebrews 9:27)? If your secrets were judged (Romans 2:16), would you make it past God? You can only meet God in a fit condition by trusting Jesus Christ's atoning Blood. You must trust the living Savior who died in your place; He bore your sins in His own body on the Cross (I Peter 2:24); and He became Sin for you (II Cor 5:21). You must take Christ Himself as your Atonement (Romans 5:11), as your payment for your sins against God. You must come to Jesus Christ as a sinner, admitting that you cannot help save yourself. You must Trust Him to completely do the job. According to the Bible, you must have God's Righteousness freely given to you by placing your faith in the shed blood of God's Son. Noting else will do. God's Righteousness is a Person - Jesus Christ (Romans 10:4). Right now, put your soul's eternal interests First - Take Christ at once, receive HIM now. Only Jesus is Worthy - Trust your soul with *HIM*, Rest completely in His Blood Sacrifice, and you shall instantly and freely receive pardon, peace, holiness, Heaven, and God - Everything a real sinner needs is free for the taking at the Cross.

Glory! Glory! to this I sing,
All my praise for this I bring,
Nothing but the Blood of Jesus!

Revealed

Blind men care little for color, deaf men care little for music, and atheists care very little for the Crucified and Living Creator. Atheists magnify man and minimize God. But let God be true, and every atheist a liar. Human wisdom can never find out God. Atheism is ‘human wisdom’ at its worst, and it sets itself up against God. Atheists don’t want to be taught, for they know of themselves; they are a rival to THE ONLY WISE GOD. They pretend to be superior to God, they are not willing to learn of Christ, but would trust in themselves. God hides His true wisdom from the wise and prudent. The atheist rejects God, therefore God gives the atheist over to a spiritual blindness. Christ thanked the Father that He does this to careless and thoughtless atheists (See Matthew 11:25-27). Jesus rejoiced over the fact that the wise and prudent (clever smart alecks) couldn’t understand who He was, but that the publicans, harlots, commercial fisherman, and uneducated peasants could. God doesn’t ever reveal Himself to any conceited smart aleck that comes to Him with self-conceited prejudice.

The atheist blinds himself with his own 'human wisdom' and becomes a fool. If atheists are not converted, don’t get upset about it, it is not likely they will be. There is nothing more foolish than when a creature does not acknowledge his Creator. The atheist sets himself up in independence of God, in fact, making himself his own 'god'. God is not everyone’s Father and no one can know the Father unless Christ Himself REVEALS the Father to them. Christ knows the Father and no one else knows Him, except the Son of God. There is no other Person who can approach unto God. Christ must be your Savior, or you will have no Savior at all. Salvation is not in any other man (Acts 4:12), and if you will not have Christ, neither can you have salvation.Without faith in Christ it is IMPOSSIBLE to please the Father.

The atheist thinks the Gospel is for the weak-minded, the credulous, and the superstitious. They speak blasphemy against the things of God that they cannot understand. What they do not want to be true, they try to prove not to be true. Atheism and evolution are types of mental morphine that the Christ-rejecter takes to numb his conscience and common sense. They turn up the noise of their caviling to drown out the ‘still small voice’ that is knocking and troubling them. The atheist thinks the Gospel is beneath their consideration, because it does not flatter their pride, and because they are so occupied with their own human wisdom that they have no time for the things of God. Human learning can never reveal ‘divine truth’ to the lost soul, only the grace of God and the work of the Holy Ghost can do that. You must be willing to be a nothing and a nobody, and no atheist will ever do that of himself.

The Gospel of Christ says that sinners are guilty and lost because of our sins against the Almighty, the Gospel offers free and full pardon through a Crucified Savior’s sinless blood. The Holy Ghost woos and warns the sinner to turn from Sin and Self-Righteousness and take the bleeding Savior. The laboring and heavy laden sinner lays hold on Christ by faith, and free eternal life is granted to him instantly, the poor sinner is made a new creature by the power of God without human works being involved.

The secret things belong unto the Lord our God: but those things which are REVEALED belong unto us and to our children for ever, that we may do all the words of this law (Deut 29:29). Now Samuel did not yet know the Lord, neither was the word of the Lord yet REVEALED unto him. And the Lord appeared again in Shiloh: for the Lord REVEALED Himself to Samuel in Shiloh by the word of the Lord (I Sam 3:7,21). Who hath believed our report and to whom is the arm of the Lord REVEALED (Isaiah 53:1)? Thus saith the Lord, Keep ye judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be REVEALED (Isaiah 56:1). Then was the secret REVEALED unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven (Daniel 2:19). Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but He REVEALETH His secret unto His servants the prophets (Amos 3:7).

At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast REVEALED them unto babes. Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered unto Me of my Father: and no man knoweth the Son, but the Father; neither knoweth any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will REVEAL Him (Matthew 11:25-27). And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood hath not REVEALED it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven (Matthew 16:17). And it was REVEALED unto Simeon by the Holy Ghost, that he should not see death, before he had seen the Lord's Christ (Luke 2:26). (Yea, a sword shall pierce through thy own soul also,) that the thoughts of many hearts may be REVEALED (Luke 2:35). In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast REVEALED them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knoweth who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will REVEAL Him (Luke 10:21:22).

For I am not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. For therein is the righteousness of God REVEALED from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith. For the wrath of God is REVEALED from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness (Romans 1:16-18). But God hath REVEALED them unto us by His Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God (I Cor 2:10).

Redemption by Blood

The "CROSS" is the short term in the New Testament Scriptures for the "substitutionary suffering" and "vicarious Blood Atonement" of God manifest in the flesh, Jesus Christ. Draw near to the Crucified God, plead His Blood. Every sinner must be saved by Faith in God's Blood. Your sin is the root of all your problems. Sin poisons your soul every day; your sins will destroy you if you die in them. Sin cannot be freely pardoned without a Blood Atonement. Your soul will never have a moment's peace until you simply trust Christ's substitutionary bloody death. Give up your sins, or you will lose your soul in the Lake of Fire. Turn your heart's eye to the Cross. Never trust yourself. Let all your hope be fixed on Christ's Blood. Play it safe - Put your soul in Christ's care now. Leave all your soul's daily concerns and eternal interests in Christ's hands. Your main business is to trust your soul on the fact that Christ died for sinners like you, and is now risen from the dead. If you can point to any good thing in you, you are a lost man. Give a true faith look to Jesus who died upon the Cross as the sinner's Substitute. Look away from all other confidences, and rely only upon the sufferings and bloody death of the Incarnate God.

Christ Jesus has finished the Atonement. He paid the full Ransom price to set sinners free from their sins. He has completed the Redemption with His own blood. Christ's Blood Atonement for ungodly sinners is the Backbone of Biblical Christianity. The Substitutionary Cross Work of Christ is the foundation of true Theology. Meditate upon Jesus' sufferings, think much of His Redemption by Blood. The free forgiveness of human sin is only through simple faith in Jesus' Precious Blood. Without the shedding of blood there is no remission of human sin. Jesus laid down His life and poured out His own blood for your sinfulness. Only the Holy Ghost can give you a sense of your sinfulness and need of the Savior. The forgiveness of sin can be enjoyed by any sinner who looks away from himself to Jesus' five bleeding wounds. God laid your sins upon Him, and treated Him as the guilty one, and let the Just die for the unjust, so you could be freely saved by His rich grace and precious blood.

Faith is a renouncing of self, and a trust in Christ, dependence and simple reliance upon Jesus Himself. Faith is a heart belief that Jesus is the Savior of the entire world, and that He is the Atonement for human sin. Faith is a heart-trusting in the Finished Cross-Work of Jesus Christ to save you from the love of sin. You cannot trust yourself and trust Christ too. The worldly religions will always teach you to rely upon yourself in part and upon Christ in part, but Christ will never be a part Savior. It must be ALL, or nothing with Christ. As long as you cling to any of your works, you are in utmost danger. Trust your soul to Christ now, and you are safe. The Gospel invitation is to all sinners who thirst for forgiveness and freedom from sin. No sin against God can be pardoned without the Propitiation through Christ's Precious Blood. Fix all your trust upon Christ's atoning blood. Place your entire trust in the person and name of Christ.

The lost Christ-rejecting sinner crucifies the Son of God afresh every day. The Victim is Jesus Christ, the hammer is their hard heart, and the nails are their dirty rotten sins. Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world. They've turn Jesus down before, and if they continue to love their sins, they'll turn Him down again. Jesus saved others, Himself He could not save. Jesus, the King of Glory, became sinful man's Substitute and made a perfect and full Atonement for human guilt. Redemption by Blood is the only way of Salvation.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. There is none other name under heaven given among men whereby we must be saved from the love of sin. There is no remission of sins without the shedding of God's blood. Full and free salvation is only found in the wounds of Jesus Christ. God had to become a man, because it was man that committed sin, and it was a man who must make an atonement for sin to the injured law of God. Fallen man was the offender, and the Offended One had to become a man to save the offender.

As in one man (Adam), the whole human race died in sin, and in another man (Christ Jesus) the human race must be saved and made alive. Dwell on this truth, let it sink into your mind and heart. Jesus stooped from the highest throne in glory down to the manger of Bethlehem. Jesus came voluntarily to save sinners. The Creator, the King of kings, the mighty God, the Great JEHOVAH voluntarily, cheerfully descended so that He could bear your sins, and yield Himself as a bloody Sacrifice for your sins. Jesus was the innocent Victim of your guilt and the divine Vengeance your sins deserve. Jesus became a substitutionary Sacrifice for ungodly guilty sinners, especially you. He came to this earth to give His soul and body as a Ransom for sinners, He gave His very self for you. He came here on purpose to lay down His life for you. Fix your thoughts on His five bleeding wounds. Jesus is the Savior of the world; He is the Atonement for human sin. Trust the Lord Jesus Christ, the Crucified Creator, with your soul.
