Cure for Love of Sin 3

The love of sin is deadly and damning. You must be saved from the love of sin, rescued from habitual sinning, set free from the desire to sin, from your uncleanness, blasphemy, self-righteousness, and dishonesty. Sin is the atheist's element, just as water is the element of fish. Have done with the indulgence of your sins, and let Jesus cleanse your filthy spirit and soul. The mercy of God through the blood of Jesus Christ is your only hope. Your sins can never bring you happiness. The love of sin will never produce peace of mind. Your sins will always leave you dissatisfied and uneasy. At times the thoughts of death haunt you and make you wretched, the dread of hell comes over you, and you wish you had never been born. You know it is so. Your sin is so grievous to God your Maker. Sinning will never profit you. Give up your love of sin, let go of your vile and proud lusts, or they will drag your immortal soul down into the pit of hell. Christ rejecters try to do away with absolutes, ignore the guilt of their past sins, and while in a suicidal slumber, they willingly jump off the ledge of life and commit spiritual suicide. You are drunk with self-importance, you are too proud to admit that you have sinned, too proud to pray to the God that made you. Be wise - Commit your soul to Jesus Christ, and He will save it instantly and forever.

Unregenerate atheists cannot and will not believe in God because they love their sins. Atheists are restless and peaceless. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked. There can be no peace where there is unpardoned sin. Until the atheist humbles himself before His Maker, and seeks and finds mercy, God is at war with him, and he is at war with God. There can be no peace of mind where there is no purity. You must be made pure, your nature must be changed, and the love of sin must be taken from you. The atheist does not wish to give up his favorite sins, so he pretends the Gospel is too difficult to understand, or impossible to accept, and so he excuses himself for going on in his iniquity. What God hates, atheists enjoy. The rejection of the Gospel is the Sin of sins - the willful rejection of Christ is the most damning sin of all. Every atheist who rejects Christ the true light, always go on to reject other forms of light such as God's word, God's Spirit, and his conscience. An atheist always put his dying body before his immortal soul; they are deeply concerned with matters of time but care not for their eternal interests. Atheists are not in their right mind.

Only the love of Christ will kill the power of sin, the practice of sin, the pursuit of sin, the life of sin, and the old love of sin. For sin shall not have dominion over you. Atheists dislike Christ because they love darkness. All men have evil hearts, but not all are equally inclined to the grosser vices in which some indulge, but in every sinner there is the alienation from God, the forgetfulness of God, the love of sin, and a dislike to God when He is actually understood. No man make his sinful heart clean. Atheists reject Christ, because they love their sin, this world's pleasures and gains, and their own righteousness. One true sight of Christ's bloody death for your sins will be the death of your love of sin. You must be saved from the eternal punishment of sin and your current love of sin. You cannot come to Christ, and bring your love of sin with you. All a poor atheist has to believe in is his own wretched self. Your sin cost Jesus Christ His life.

No man by nature thinks he needs Christ. No man knows his real need until the Holy Ghost shows him - the necessity of pardon. All men in their natural condition are dead in sin and will never come to Christ; they try to build a shelter of falsehood to hide themselves behind. They are desperately trying to hide from God, death, and the wrath to come on sin. Atheists build the walls of theories, carelessness, human goodness, carnal reasoning, human intellect, alibis, self-righteousness, and self-sufficiency to hide behind. But their house of cards will quickly crumble and fall down at death and leave them defenseless. You must depend wholly on the love of the Father, the Redeeming Blood of the Son, and the power of the Holy Spirit to save your guilty soul. Eternal life is freely given to all sinners who come to Christ Jesus for it. By nature all atheists are inclined to follow the road that leads downward to hell. They are willing to walk the road that leads to hell, they do not seek hell, but the road that leads to it.

You can never master your evil passions in your own strength. The sufferings of Christ, the power of the Holy Ghost, the work of the Cross, the Lamb of God's agonies and blood is your only escape from your filthy ways. Jesus went to Calvary for sinners. Open your windows toward Calvary and always pray, look upon the Precious Blood. Only at Calvary is the medicine found for a sin-sick soul. Thirsty, sin-sick soul draw near. Despairing sinner come to the Cross and hear, the blood of Christ can quench your thirst and wash your soul clean. Only God's blood can wash your sin's guilt and filth away. Jesus the Incarnate God of Calvary is the guilty sinner's Best Friend. Behold the condescending Creator, for awhile He left His heavenly home, He descended into this mean world, to live and suffer and bleed, and die for hopeless wretches. And then when the appointed hour had come, Jesus tore the bars of death away, and burst the barriers of the tomb. Then He ascended to the skies to sit upon God's throne and will soon come again in Glory.

You will either hug your sin, or embrace the Savior. By nature, you may be afraid of damnation and hell, but you are not afraid of sinning and self. Be wise - Fear yourself and fear sinning against God. Happy is the man that feareth alway. The love of sin separates your soul from God. The only thing that really belongs to you in this world is your Sin. You are unsatisfied because you have unforgiven sin on your soul. You can only be happy if you are kept from sinning against God - only the Holy Ghost can help you there. The wounds of Christ heal the human heart of its love of sin. Only Christ's finished work can free you from the damning power and guilt of your sin. Every atheist is a poor slave and lover of sin. Have done with the love of your righteousness and trust Jesus with your soul. Till your sin is hated, there can be no Heaven for you. Many men possess just enough religion to make them miserable, and enough sin to prevent their salvation. At the Cross true knowledge takes the place of ignorance, and a desire for purity overcomes the love of sin. Jesus gives immediate and complete salvation from the love of sin, conscious salvation from the power of sin, growing salvation from the propensity to sin, and a salvation from the tendency to sin.

The rags of self-righteousness must come off before the robe of Christ's Righteousness is put on your soul. The love of sin must be taken away, there must be a forsaking of the practices and habits of sin. Christ's finished work on the Cross delivers from the love of sin. We may fall into sin after being saved, but we mourn over it, and hate the sin, and hate ourselves for committing it against such a merciful Savior. Every sin grieves the Savior so, we cannot find pleasure in as once we did, we may sin, but it vexes us so, creates misery in our heart, breeds sorrow in our mind. If you love sin, the love of the Father is not in you. Atheists enjoy sinning, and they loathe the Savior. The blinded atheist wants God to leave him alone in his sin. Atheists are steeped in sin and care nothing about sinning against God, they openly defy their Maker, and sin for the mere sake of sinning. Sin is a deliberate attack upon God, sin is an offense against God's very nature, and it becomes a heavy burden on your soul. Every atheist is as black as night within, because he rejects the light of the Gospel. You must seek for salvation from the power and love of sin, not just from the punishment of sin. If you are a lost soul, the wrath of God abides on you; right now, resolved to trust Jesus Christ as your Savior.

True repentance is the broom which sweeps the house from attic to cellar. No man is free from the commission of sin, but every converted soul is free from the love of sin. Every regenerated heart desires to free from sin. When sin's power or temptation is felt within, we do not welcome it, we cry out against it, "O wretched man that I am!" We cannot bear sin, we groan to be free completely from the hateful thing called sin. Sin is the cataract that dims and darkens the spiritual eye.

Turn from the love of sin to the love of God. The atheist that looks sin-ward has his back to God, but he who looks God-ward has his back to sin. Atheists cannot see truth, because they love error and falsehood. The Gospel cannot be seen by a God-hating atheist, because he has a loose life, foul speech, and lewd thoughts. The atheist loves carnal pleasure so he cannot stand the purity of the Gospel. The pride of self-righteousness damns many an atheist. Conversion is when a man turns from from the folly of sin to the glory of God. Forsake your wrongdoing, renounce your evil lusting and habitual lying, and desire pardon from Christ's hand. Christ's bleeding love will take away your love of Sin.

The Cross will make you hate the sin that crucified the Savior. Christ's shed blood will make sin nauseating to you, you will become weary of sin, and will have no more of it. The guilt of sin remains on the man who still loves his sin. Only Christ can save you from your evil habits of wrongdoing, the power of evil, the love of sin, and finding pleasure in sin. The main cause of your rejection of Christ is the love of sin. Every atheist loves death, when he rejects Christ. For every atheist that doeth evil hateth the light (Jesus Christ), neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. Self-trust and the love of sin must go, Christ and His purity must be received. Turn to God, trust in Jesus. Every thief is sorry in jail, every murderer is sorry in the death-cell, and every atheist will be sorry in hell.

You can sum up all that a sinner needs, and you will find Christ Jesus is able to supply you with all you need. You want pardon; Christ can deliver it to you freely. You want a change of heart; it can be granted unto by the living Savior. You want a real righteousness in which you may be accepted by a holy God; Christ has it. If you want to be purged from the *love of sin*, only Christ can do it. You want wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, and they are all found in one Person - Jesus Christ. You think you will never be perfect; but perfection is found in Christ, you can only be complete in Him. “It pleased the Father that in Christ should all fullness dwell.” Jesus is “full of grace and truth.”

You must seek the pardon of sin, the forgiveness of sin, and the remission of sin at the foot of the Cross. Trust only in the Crucified Lamb of God, and the Risen Redeemer. Lay your sin burden at the feet of Jesus. This is the Good News -- The Incarnate God bleeding to death for sinners upon the Cross; a Sinless Substitute atoning for mortal guilt; a holy Sacrifice satisfying the vengeance of God; the spotless Lamb of God suffering the wrath of God, dying in your place, making a perfect payment for your human sin, and then rising from the dead and then to the throne of God. Jesus did all this to deliver the rebellious, ungodly sinner. Flee to the Blood of Christ for help, and your love of sin will be gone. Fix your trust only on Christ's sin-atoning blood. Have done with trying and doing your best, rely on Christ's finished Cross-work alone. Trust Jesus, take Him to be your complete salvation now. Christ bled on Calvary for your sin, cast yourself at His feet, and beg His free forgiveness.

Cure for Love of Sin 2

At the bottom of all atheism there lies a love of sin. Atheism quarrels with divine truth, because God's truth quarrels with them. Sinning always results in sorrow, sadness, and wretchedness. Whosoever committeth sin is the slave of sin. The love of sin is the reason for all your opposition to Christ. The love of sin breeds hatred to Christ. Atheists don't see truth, because they don't want to see. They don't want to see too much lest they should become uneasy in their sinful state of life. So they kick against Christ, and try to put out the light of Christ, lest they be reproved by it. Your deadliest mistake is rejecting Christ's blood atonement for human sin. Sin is a hateful thing, it put Jesus Christ to death on Calvary's Cross.

Man's prejudice of God, love of sin, pride, falsehood, enmity to God, covetousness, worldliness, carelessness, indifference, idleness, superstition, impurity, unbelief, and hardness of heart keeps him from trusting and loving his Best Friend. Lost men seek to drive the Savior away, and they wish to avoid Him, and be rid of Him. They cannot endure Christ's presence. The man that loves his sin is a child of the devil. Every atheist spits in the face of his Maker, and despises and disregards the God who created him - this is the soul-damning sin.  Sin or the Savior? It's your choice.

The Creator, Jesus Christ, dwelt in human flesh. He who made the heavens and the earth came down to live here as a man, and bleed and die upon a Cross, in order that He may save lost and needy sinners. You must lean fully on Jesus for everything. Fling away your love of sin and the love of your own righteousness. You can be saved from your love of sin and the power of it by looking only to Christ. The love of sin only dies at the Cross, and there at Calvary your lusts and idols are subdued by divine love and blood. Men love darkness rather than light, because their deeds are evil. You must be saved from your love of sin and old habits, give up your old sins and be led by the impulse of Christ's love. Seek after purity, and forsake your old dirty ways.

Christ and His precious blood must come between you and your sins. You must take your bad habits directly to Jesus, ask Him to conquer them. Jesus must do it, and He must get all the praise. The Holy Spirit must lay His axe to the root of your lusts, drinking, swearing, greed, dishonesty, evil passions, corrupt desires, vile affections, filthy memories, profane thoughts, impure imaginations, rebellion, obstinacy, and selfishness. Your only hope is the work of the Spirit. Sin is a deadly and damning thing. Your evil and unclean habits must be repented of. Don't fling away your immortal soul for the sake of a few temporal sinful pleasures. Only the blood and wounds of Jesus can cure your love for sinning. The way to Heaven is through Christ's bleeding wounds. Stop trifling on the very verge of eternal death and hell. You must fear sin or it will damn your soul - A dove is so afraid of a hawk that it is frightened at the very sight of a hawk's feather.

Only the love of God will drive out the love of sin in your life. Jesus is the Savior of sinners, He is able to save the guilty to the uttermost. Every atheist who hears the Gospel message, that is, Christ Jesus died to save guilty sinners freely through faith in His sinless blood, is responsible for what he heard. Now the atheist who refuses to believe the Gospel, is responsible to God His Maker for his rejection of Christ. The man that rejects Christ doesn't really feel that he is guilty in the sight of God, because he is dead in his sins. Self-righteousness lies concealed far down in his dark heart. The self-righteous man will not admit that he needs divine mercy, or accept free salvation that is available now to guilty sinners through the blood and righteousness of Jesus Christ. The *glad tidings* of the Gospel is a finished salvation for lost sinners, a complete forgiveness for guilty and worthless wretches, and an acceptance and adoption of the ungodly by simply believing on Jesus. Every atheist is a careless lover of sin, and he will not hear of repentance, and he detests a Crucified God. The atheist thinks that purity is slavery, and he hugs his darling sins so tightly, he will not give up his lusts. Your love of sin will bring you into an Eternity of Hell. Simply put - Atheists are sin-loving, God-hating wretches that think they came from a monkey and are going to die like a dog. But all fools make a mock at sin, and be sure your sin will find you out at the Judgment, when God brings up every secret thing when you give account of yourself to your Maker.

Only the shed blood of the living God can take away your guilt and love of sin. When you see Christ bearing your burden of guilt, and trust Christ as your Burden-bearer, your sin-burden will be all gone. There is a load of sin on you now, but if you look to Jesus by simple faith, and Jesus Christ by His power will take your load of sin upon Himself, and then there no longer will be a load of sin on your soul. This is the grandest of all God's works and transactions, when He takes sin off the sinner, and lays it upon His Sinless Son. All we like sheep have gone astray, we have turned every one to his own way, and the Lord hath laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all. God hath made Jesus to be SIN for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Christ. Men quarrel with the Gospel, because it is so simple. You soul is as black as night in sin, but the moment you look to Christ, you become whiter than snow within.

The vital essence of the Gospel is Substitution. Christ suffers instead of the guilty sinner. Christ's sufferings are the only cure for your love of toying and trifling with sin. God the Creator, the Provider, the Judge of all, became a Jewish man, and took upon Himself our nature at Bethlehem, and then He took upon Himself our sins and shame at the Cross. Your sin cost Christ everything. Believe the Gospel Medicine to be true, then you must take the medicine into yourself by faith. Take Christ, receive Him. Whosoever will, let him take the Gospel Medicine freely. Rely only upon the merit of Christ's Blood and Righteousness. Trust your needy soul with Christ, Rest your guilty soul on Him personally. It's your choice, either love your sin, or trust and love the Savior.

Cure for Love of Sin 1

By nature every man loves his sin. Your own stubborn will keeps you in love with your sin. You will never desire to be free of your sin until the Holy Ghost begins to prick and woo your sinful soul to Christ Jesus. Hell will be the sure result of your unforgiven sins. You love sin and evil because you're a sinner, and you do not love your Maker as you should. Sin is a deadly poison, and when you drink it, it kills your soul. You desperately cleave to your sins with a death grip, you will not leave them, and you will not come to Jesus Christ, that you might have eternal life. Your damnation is your own choosing, and you will richly deserve it. If you perish in your sins, you will perish by committing spiritual suicide. You will have destroyed your own soul by rejecting Christ willfully.

If you end up damned, it will be your own fault. If you are saved, it will not be by your own doing, it will be only by God's free grace through Christ's Atonement. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved from your sin. Only the Holy Ghost can give a sinner a sincere interest in the Savior's precious blood. To be an enemy of God is hell on earth. Will you love your sins and go to Hell, or leave your sins and go to Heaven? Every lover of sin is an enemy of God. The atheist willfully hates God and loves evil, and he doesn't want to know a God with a holy nature. A lover of sin can never love Jesus. Sin never satisfies, but Christ Jesus does. Your main problem is that you're in love with yourself, and you defend your sins. It is eternal destruction for anyone to be a lover of sin. An atheist hates the thought of being saved from sin. He loves darkness and death with an insane and fatal infatuation. God is light, atheism is darkness; God is life, atheism is death; Christ is love, atheism is hate; Jesus is goodness, atheism is evil; Christ is truth, atheism is a lie; Christ is God, atheism seeks to deny God.

Sin is when you do what God would not have you do. Every sin is a rebellion against the Invisible Lawgiver. The Lord Jesus Christ was nailed to the tree by wicked sinners just like you. Every sin of yours is a deliberate attempt to hurt the merciful God. Every sin of yours which you have thought so little of, is really a stab at the heart of your Maker. Sin is a God-hating thing, and Sin is a soul-damning thing. Every sin is really an attempt to hurt God. Sin cries, "Let there be no God!" Every sin you commit is an insult against a good and kind God. God doesn't deserve your rebellion, He deserves all the love of your heart. Sin is a resistance to the will of God, a disobedience to God's command, and a forgetfulness of your Creator. This is the very essence of Sin - to want your own way, to do your own thing, to live independently of your Maker. There is nothing in you that can please God, you are wretched and polluted to the core. Jesus must make you right with God. This is the naked truth -- you love your sin more than you love your own soul.

The reason why atheists will not come to Christ and be saved is their constant love of sin. All arguments against the Gospel come from a filthy private life. Your love of sin will soon bring upon your soul an Eternity of woe and damnation. Sin will be to you a never-ending death in Eternity. You do not believe in Jesus simply because of the enslaving power of your favorite sins. Only simple faith in the Crucified One saves you from the love of sin and infuses the love for purity into your heart. True faith in the Savior's Blood Atonement makes you hate the very sins that shed the Redeemer's Blood. Sin is a thing that you cannot stop, you need the Savior's power to subdue your sins. You cannot make yourself right with God. Only Christ's power can bring you nigh to God. Sin is a plague in every man's heart. You must be made clean within, you must have your sins washed away, or you can never be saved. It is only by the Blood of Christ that human sin is cleansed. Murder, adultery, theft, lust, lying, whatever your sin may be, there is power in the blood of Christ to take it away at once and forever.

Sin is a want of conformity to the will of God; sin is a breach of the divine law in either your imaginations, or desires, or words, or actions. Sin is refusing to yield to God's will, and doing despite to His mercy and love. Sin is a deliberate stabbing at the very heart of God. Sin is the deliberate preference of fallen man. Man chooses evil and rejects good. Sin is pleasant to man's perverse and depraved nature. Atheists do not like to think of God. They wish to forget Christ altogether. God, purity, heaven, hell, Eternity, sin, and the Blood Atonement are all nonsense to an atheist. There is a real love for sin in your heart, a love for everything that is contrary to God. You have a distaste, and even a hatred to the very thoughts of God.

Your vile nature must be changed, the love of sin within you must be extinguished. Have done with the love of sin, and lay hold on Eternal Life - Jesus Christ Himself. Right now, you have an enormous load of sin resting upon your shoulders, and only the mighty Savior can lift it off your soul. You have old and vile habits that have been with you for 20, 30, maybe 40 years, and Only the mighty Christ can break those heavy chains, and set you free in a moment. Sinning against light is the worst of sins, and willful rejection of Christ's Atoning Blood is the very worst of all your iniquities. Trust Christ now with the enormous load of your sins, and with the disease of your evil habits. Rely fully on HIM to put away your past guilt, and to keep you safe in the future. Trust the Son of God to save your soul, and He will do it. This is God's commandment to you, poor atheist, "Trust in Christ." Your bad habits and betting sins must be earnestly forsaken.

Sin has completely defiled your soul and mind, and it has ruined your character. You need Christ's precious blood to be applied to your guilty conscience by the Holy Spirit of God. The Blood of God's own dear Son streamed down Calvary's Cross especially for your sins. You are filthy inwardly, because of all your sinful thoughts and impure imaginations. God was made flesh, crucified for sinners, raised from the dead, and now whosoever believeth in Jesus shall not perish but have eternal life freely by God's grace. God Incarnate was wounded for your transgressions, and bruised for your iniquities. God in human form suffered for your human sin.

Lean upon Jesus with all the burden of your guilt, and He will save you. Atheists will believe in anything but the Crucified and Risen Creator. The very core of your confidence must be placed on Jesus. A bleeding Savior is a guilty sinner's only hope. The lost sinner must turn his eyes to the Cross for cleansing and comfort. At Calvary there is salvation, and there only. This is the all-important question - "Is the Lord Jesus Christ your sin offering to God?" By faith lay your hand on the head of the Sinless Scapegoat, and you can go free. Trust Christ, and your sins are completely forgiven and put away forever. Remember this - Christ Crucified, Christ Risen, Christ Alive Forevermore, Christ Exalted, Christ Coming Again, Christ is Everything, you are nothing, that is all.

The Unknown God of the Bible

Below are some overlooked and avoided Holy Scriptures that are both terrifying and comforting. Most Americans today are Biblically illiterate and ignorant. These are the Scriptures people steer clear of that speak plainly about the forgotten and unknown God of the Holy Bible. Now understand - Obama, Osteen, and Oprah don’t want to know anything about the God of the Bible; they have a 'god' that they have devised out of their own thoughts.

Americans don't know the God of the Bible, because they have forsaken the Bible. Nowadays you can get an American to believe just about anything. You’ll never ever hear these things discussed on Oprah or Dr. Phil or Ellen Degenerate. You could watch TV and listen to the radio, and search the Internet for 20 years, and you will never find these truths being mentioned. There is a God - His name is Jesus Christ - He loved you to death on Calvary's Cross - and now He's alive forever more, He wants to save you from your sins, and He's watching you all the time (Proverbs 15:3). And never forget - God is never anything but good.

Here we go:  For God’s eyes are upon all your ways: they are not hid from His face, neither is your iniquity hid from His eyes (Jeremiah 16:17). The Lord is great in counsel, and mighty in work: for God’s eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings (Jeremiah 32:19). How much more abominable and filthy is man, which drinketh iniquity like water? (Job 15:16). For thy heart is not right in the sight of God (Acts 8:21). Can any [sinner] hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? saith the Lord. Do not I fill heaven and earth? saith the Lord (Jeremiah 23:24). But Noah found grace in the eyes of the Lord (Gen 6:8). For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to shew Himself strong in the behalf of them whose heart is perfect toward Him. (II Chron 16:9). For God’s eyes are upon the ways of man, and He seeth all your goings. There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves (Job 34:21-22).

Every way of a man is right in his own eyes: but the Lord pondereth the hearts (Prov 21:2). If thou sayest, Behold, we knew it not; doth not He that pondereth the heart consider it? and He that keepeth thy soul, doth not He know it? and shall not he render to every man according to his works? (Proverbs 24:12). And God looked upon the earth, and, behold, it was corrupt; for all flesh had corrupted his way upon the earth (Genesis 6:12). For the ways of man are before the eyes of the Lord, and He pondereth ALL his goings (Proverbs 5:21). For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee. The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity (Psalm 5:4-5).

Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delighteth in their abominations. I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spake, they did not hear: but they did evil before Mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not. And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness. Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out My hand, and no man regarded; But ye have set at nought all My counsel, and would none of My reproof: I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh; When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you. Then shall they call upon Me, but I will not answer; they shall seek Me early, but they shall not find Me: For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD.

But he that sinneth against Me wrongeth his own soul: all they that hate Me love death. The haters of the LORD should have submitted themselves unto Him: but their time should have endured for ever. And God shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness. Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye now from your evil ways, and from your evil doings; but they did not hear, nor hearken unto Me, saith the LORD. Am I a God at hand, saith the LORD, and not a God afar off? Is not My word like as a fire? saith the LORD; and like a hammer that breaketh the rock in pieces?

The fear of the wicked, it shall come upon him: but the desire of the righteous shall be granted. And they consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before my face. But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness. So I gave them up unto their own hearts' lust: and they walked in their own counsels. And God gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul. Then God turned, and gave them up to worship the host of heaven. Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.

Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.

But unto the wicked God saith, What hast thou to do to declare my statutes, or that thou shouldest take my covenant in thy mouth? Seeing thou hatest instruction, and casteth my words behind thee. When thou sawest a thief, then thou consentedst with him, and hast been partaker with adulterers. Thou givest thy mouth to evil, and thy tongue frameth deceit. Thou sittest and speakest against thy brother; thou slanderest thine own mother's son. These things hast thou done, and I kept silence; thou thoughtest that I was altogether such an one as thyself: but I will reprove thee, and set them in order before thine eyes.

In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, and said, I thank thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in thy sight. And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doeth truth cometh to the light, that his deeds may be made manifest, that they are wrought in God. The LORD knoweth how to reserve the unjust unto the day of Judgment to be punished. Your iniquities have turned away these things, and your sins have withholden good things from you.

The way of the Lord is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity (Prov 10:29). God withdraweth not his eyes from the righteous (Job 36:7). Sanctify the Lord of hosts Himself; and let Him be your fear, and let Him be your dread (Isaiah 8:13). Jesus said, Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for the devil is a liar, and the father of it (John 8:44). The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one (Matt 13:38). He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God (John 8:47). Jesus said, Every one that is of the truth heareth My voice (John 18:37). In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother (I John 3:10).

The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good (Proverbs 15:3). The Lord is in his holy temple, the Lord's throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men (Psalm 11:4). For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and their doings are against the Lord, to provoke the eyes of His glory (Isaiah 3:8). [O Lord] Thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity (Habakkuk 1:13). The eyes of the Lord preserve knowledge, and he overthroweth the words of the transgressor (Prov 22:12). The eyes of the Lord, run to and fro through the whole earth (Zechariah 4:10). Wherefore hast thou despised the commandment of the Lord, to do evil in His sight? (II Samuel 12:9).

Lord, thou hast set our iniquities before Thee, our secret sins in the light of Thy countenance (Psalm 90:8). Shall not God search this out? for He knoweth the secrets of the heart (Psalm 44:21). And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled: But the Lord of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is holy shall be sanctified in Righteousness (Isaiah 5:15-16). For the ways of man are before the eyes of the LORD, and He pondereth all his goings. My God knows what you're up to all the time. Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in God's sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do (Hebrews 4:12). Now don't forget - You are under Heavenly Surveillance 24/7/365.

O Lord, Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. Thou compassest my path and my lying down, and art acquainted with all my ways. For there is not a word in my tongue, but, lo, O Lord, thou knowest it altogether (Psalm 139:2-4). Behold, the eye of the Lord is upon them that fear Him, upon them that hope in His mercy (Psalm 33:18). Behold, the eyes of the Lord GOD are upon the sinful kingdom, and I will destroy it from off the face of the earth (Amos 9:8). The world says, Prophesy not unto us right things, speak unto us smooth things, prophesy deceits: Get you out of the way, turn aside out of the path, cause the Holy One of Israel to cease from before us (Isa 30:10-11).

The eyes of the Lord are upon the righteous, and His ears are open unto their cry (Psalm 34:15). God’s eye seeth every precious thing (Job 28:10). God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God (Psalm 53:2). The children of Israel did secretly those things that were not right against the Lord their God (II Kings 17:9). Thus saith the Lord, I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them (Ezekiel 11:5). Woe unto them that seek deep to hide their counsel from the Lord, and their works are in the dark, and they say, Who seeth us? and who knoweth us? (Isaiah 29:15). The Lord shall laugh at [the wicked]: for He seeth that his day is coming (Psalm 37:13).

Do you only want the Salvation of Christ, and not the Christ of Salvation? Yet [the wicked] say, The Lord shall not see, neither shall the God of Jacob regard it (Psalm 94:7). Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his hands shall be given him (Isaiah 3:11). Jesus said to His disciples, The world cannot hate you; but Me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. He that hateth Me hateth my Father also. They hated Me without a cause. (John 7:7; 15:18,23,25).

The Lord that planted the ear, shall He not hear? He that formed the eye, shall He not see? The Lord knoweth the thoughts of man, that they are vanity (Psalm 94:9,11). For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil (Ecclesiastes 12:14). The Lord will discover their secret parts (Isaiah 3:17). And this is the condemnation, that light is come into the world [Jesus Christ], and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For every one that doeth evil hateth the light, neither cometh to the light, lest his deeds should be reproved (John 3:19-20). For thou hast trusted in thy wickedness: thou hast said, None seeth me. Thy wisdom and thy knowledge, it hath perverted thee; and thou hast said in thine heart, I am, and none else beside me (Isaiah 47:10).

Behold, [the wicked] belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, doth hear? But thou, O Lord, shalt laugh at them; thou shalt have all the heathen in derision (Psalm 59:7-8). The mouth of the wicked poureth out evil things, and devoureth iniquity (Prov 15:28; 19:28). For God knoweth vain men: the Lord seeth wickedness also; will He not then consider it? (Job 11:11). The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts. [The wicked] hath said in his heart, God hath forgotten: He hideth his face; He will never see it (Psalm 10:4,11). And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High? (Psalm 73:11). For they say, The Lord seeth us not; the Lord hath forsaken the earth (Ezek 8:12). The wicked say in their heart, the LORD will not do good, neither will He do evil (Zeph 1:12). Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear the Lord God (Jer 5:24).

They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known My ways (Hebrews 3:10). [The world] says unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of Thy ways. What is the Almighty, that we should serve Him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto Him? (Job 21:14-15). Which say unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for us? (Job 22:17). The word of the Lord is against you (Zeph 2:5). God’s power and wrath is against all them that forsake Him (Ezra 8:22). The face of the Lord is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth (Psalm 34:16). For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and His ears are open unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil (I Peter 3:12).

God numbers your steps: and watches over your sin. (Job 14:16). God shall judge the secrets of men by Jesus Christ according to my gospel. (Romans 2:16). Until the Lord come, who both will bring to light the hidden things of darkness, and will make manifest the counsels of the hearts (I Cor 4:5). For God looketh to the ends of the earth, and seeth under the whole heaven (Job 28:24). Every one of us shall give account of himself to God (Romans 14:12). Why dost thou strive against God? for He giveth not account of any of His matters (Job 33:13). Woe unto him that striveth with his Maker! (Isaiah 45:9) Thou God seest me (Genesis 16:13). But we have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God (II Corinthians 4:2). Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in God’s sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of Him with whom we have to do (Hebrews 4:13). Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter! (Isaiah 5:20)

Therefore the LORD hath recompensed me according to my righteousness; according to my cleanness in His eye sight (II Samuel 22:25). Be of good courage, and let us behave ourselves valiantly for our people, and for the cities of our God: and let the Lord do that which is good in His sight (I Chronicles 19:13). Thou hast sold thyself to work evil in the sight of the LORD. For God giveth to a man that is good in His sight wisdom, and knowledge, and joy: but to the sinner God giveth travail, to gather and to heap up, that He may give to him that is good before God (Ecc 2:26). Manasseh wrought much wickedness in the sight of the LORD. Everything you think, say, or do every day is in the sight of the LORD. You are always under heavenly surveillance. And whatsoever we ask, we receive of God, because we keep His commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in His sight (I John 3:22). Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men (II Corinthians 8:21). Humble yourselves in the sight of the Lord Jesus Christ, and He shall lift you up (James 4:10). For God’s mouth shall speak truth; and wickedness is an abomination to His lips (Proverbs 8:7).

And Jesus said unto them, Ye are they which justify yourselves before men; but God knoweth your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God (Luke 16:15). And the Lord turned, and looked upon Peter. And Peter remembered the word of the Lord, how He had said unto him, Before the cock crow, thou shalt deny me thrice (Luke 22:61). And Jesus entered into Jerusalem, and into the temple: and when He had looked round about upon all things, and now the eventide was come, He went out unto Bethany with the twelve (Mark 11:11). And Jesus looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury. And He saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites (Luke 21:1-2). And when Jesus came to the place, He looked up, and saw him, and said unto him, Zacchaeus, make haste, and come down; for to day I must abide at thy house (Luke 19:5).

And when Jesus was come near, He beheld Jerusalem, and wept over it (Luke 19:41). His eyes are as the eyes of doves by the rivers of waters, washed with milk, and fitly set (SoS 5:12). And Jesus, when He came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and He began to teach them many things (Mark 6:34). And when Jesus had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed: and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him (Luke 13:17). And Jesus lifted up his eyes on His disciples, and said, Blessed be ye poor: for yours is the kingdom of God (Luke 6:20). Then Jesus turned, and saw them following, and saith unto them, What seek ye? (John 1:38).

A king that sitteth in the throne of judgment scattereth away all evil with His eyes (Proverbs 20:8). And then will Jesus profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity (Matthew 7:23). Then shall Jesus say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from Me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels (Matthew 25:41). But Jesus shall say, I know you not whence ye are; depart from Me, all ye workers of iniquity. Jesus’ head and His hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and His eyes were as a flame of fire (Revelation 1:14). These things saith the Son of God, who hath His eyes like unto a flame of fire, and His feet are like fine brass (Revelation 2:18).

And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and He that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He doth judge and make war. His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on His head were many crowns; and He had a name written, that no man knew, but He Himself. And He was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and His name is called The Word of God. And the armies which were in heaven followed Him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. And out of His mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it He should smite the nations: and He shall rule them with a rod of iron: and He treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. And He hath on his vesture and on His thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS (Rev 19:11-16).

And the Lord shall cause His glorious voice to be heard, and shall shew the lighting down of His arm, with the indignation of His anger, and with the flame of a devouring fire, with scattering, and tempest, and hailstones (Isaiah 30:30). And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the Lord alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the Lord, and for the glory of His majesty, when He ariseth to shake terribly the earth (Isaiah 2:17-19). Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ (Titus 2:13). Even so, come, Lord Jesus. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen (Rev 22:20-21).

Glad Tidings for the Guilty

Take a minute, and just think a little. God is present everywhere, at all times. He has seen all your evil doings every day, He has heard all your idle words and filthy conversations, He has recorded all of your thought life. There is no place so dark that can hide you from God's all-seeing eye. You are surrounded by God every minute of your life. God reads your thoughts and imaginations all the day long. He notes all of them, and He forgets none of them. All things are present to the LORD: the sins of your youth, and of your manhood all lie before Him like an open book. God knows what you do and what you think from the time you get up in the morning until the time you go to bed every night. Every sinful act of yours shall have its recompense. Every one of us shall give account of himself to God. Do not doubt that absolute truth.

God is always watching, how can you dare to sin while His very eyes are fixed upon you? How can you blaspheme Him right to His face? You need to fear God, in Whom you live, and move, and have your being. This God who is everywhere, and see and hears everything you do everyday is your Judge. *Thou God seest me* And whatever you think or say, remember there is a God who made you and died for you, and in whose hand your breath is. He sits in heaven and beholds all the sons of men, and however much you dislike that fact, there He is, and there He ever will be, and you shall have to deal with Him, and He with you, before long.

Now understand - Without the free pardon of sin through simple faith in Jesus Christ’s Precious Blood, it is impossible for you to satisfy or know the LORD. Unregenerate men naturally run away from God; they do not want to know Him. Human nature is strangely depraved – God commands, and man refuses; God forbids, and man desires. The carnal mind is diametrically opposed to the mind of Christ. Men long to cross the line, when they are warned to keep away. The carnal mind is so at enmity with God, that it delights in forbidden things. The natural man wants independence and freedom from the restraints of his personal holy Creator God.

Every man by nature is morally evil; he longs after the forbidden, and his tendencies are inclined towards evil. A man may not wander into gross open sin, yet his is still pleased with impure imaginations, infidel notions, and skeptical opinions. This is mental filthiness and will be brought into Judgment. Many men have a particular religion, and they will cling to that 'religion' with a death grip, and deliberately choose to remain ignorant of Christ's Righteousness, so they can continue live like the devil under the guise of their religion. Men reject the atoning Sacrifice of Christ so that they can add their own works to their salvation. All of your so-called good deeds are nothing but filthy rags according to the Bible (Isaiah 64:6). The absolute Righteousness of God is a man - His name is Jesus Christ (Romans 10:3-4; II Corinthians 5:21).

Human nature makes much of man, and nothing of God. Human nature refuses to follow the infallible guidance of the Scriptures and the Holy Ghost, or have absolute moral standards, or seek communion with God, or trust a finished Blood Atonement for human sin. You didn't live up to your parent's standards, you haven't lived up to your own standards, and you'll never meet God's Holy Standard - Christ Jesus Himself. The impurity of human nature abhors the holy nature of Almighty God. Bottom line - The atheist does not want to be saved from sinning. Your first few drinks from the cup of sin that the devil gives you may seem sweet, but the last few drinks from that devilish cup of sin will be bitter and deadly. Men want to be saved from hell, but not from their sins which is the main cause of hell. The more a man’s heart perceives the perfect holiness of the Law of God, the more he will perceive his own impurity and sinfulness. Lost men avoid God for the same reason a criminal avoids a policeman.

At the very bottom of all atheism there lies a love for some sin. The atheist would rather continue to practice some secret evil than come to Christ and be made pure within. If there's something rotten in the heart (love of sin), there will always be something rotten in the head (atheism). Naturally an atheist doesn't like the Truth, because the Truth doesn't like him. The Truth that condemns the atheist, he tries to condemn. The Truth makes the atheist uneasy, so he doubts and defies it. An atheist would rather do anything than come to Jesus Christ personally with all his heart.

Atheism quarrels with divine truth because God's truth quarrels with them. Sinning always results in misery, guilt, and wretchedness. Whosoever committeth sin is the *slave* of sin. The love of sin is the reason for all your opposition to Christ. The love of darkness breeds hatred to Christ and His words. Atheists don't see truth, because they shut their eyes and don't want to see. They don't want to see too much lest they become uneasy in their sinful state of life which they enjoy, but only for a season. So they kick against Christ, and try to put out the light of Christ, lest they be reproved by it.

Most men think they are good and smart enough, they are proudly independent of the grace and wisdom of God in Christ Jesus.  They stubbornly refuse to cry out for heavenly Mercy and Pardon. You better listen - Your deadliest mistake is rejecting Christ's Blood Atonement for human sin. Sin is a hateful thing, it put the Lord Jesus Christ - God manifest in the flesh - to death on Calvary's Cross. Jesus said Himself, "And when the Holy Spirit is come, He will reprove the world of *SIN*, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of *SIN*, because they *believe not on Me*. Your rejection of Jesus Christ and His Atoning Blood is the soul-damning sin. Rejecting the Crucified and Risen Son of God is the greatest sin and insult you could ever put upon your Maker.

Just like Adam, the atheist hides away among the trees of the garden; he does not desire to see his Maker; for he has offended Him. The very thought of God is distasteful to every guilty atheist. It would be the best news to an atheist if he could be informed, or have sure evidence, that there was no God at all. The atheist cannot know God, because his whole heart, mind, and spirit are in such a sinful state that he is incapable of knowing or appreciating the Lord Jesus Christ – God manifest in the flesh. Darkness covers the atheist's mind, because sin has blinded his soul to all that is true and right and holy.

Atheists want God eliminated from every phase of your life. No atheist wants to answer to a holy God for his dirty rotten life, so nearly all atheists are evolutionists. They believe they came from amoral ancestors like fish, monkies, and butterflies. They only want to be accountable to themselves. Atheism is living, walking, thinking, talking, and dying in pitch black Darkness, and then going straight to Hell. Atheism is immoral and completely contrary to the Bible.

Atheism is all about self from start to finish: it is selfish, self-centered, self-justifying, self-righteous, self-preserving, self-promoting, and self-gratifying. Atheism worships and serves the great god "I". Every evolutionist is mentally challenged as well as intellectually dishonest. An atheist is a humanist self-exalting monkey man headed for a grave and the Bottomless Pit, and at the same time they are bragging about how smart they are.

If you live and die without Jesus Christ, and lose your soul, you're going to lose all you've got. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? You get to growing up and pretty soon you get into some type of sin, and you start to get hardened by it, and then you get deceived by your sin, and grow harder and harder. These are only a few of the excuses of Christ-rejecting sin-loving men: "Not today, I can't live it, I'm not ready yet, I think you ought to live it, there's so many hypocrites in the church." You need to quit putting off Christ and His great salvation. How shall you escape the damnation of hell, if you neglect so great Salvation? If you're not careful, you're going to die and go to Hell. You are living alone in the world today, without hope and without Christ. You're a great sinner, but Christ Jesus is the Great Savior. Sin will slowly turn you into a filthy miserable wretch. You main problem is that you love yourself and your sins.

The Gospel is too holy for the atheist, for it will cut off his unclean amusements. The lover of sin does not know God, and does not want to know Him. The atheist had made up and believed, and loved his own lie (Revelation 22:15). The atheist prefers his sinful pleasures to the Savior, that’s his real problem. He has blinded his understanding and defiled his conscience and has become his own dupe. Falsehoods from darwin and other fools have saturated his brain, so that he tell the truth from a lie. The atheist has willfully shut his eyes for so long that he has become completely blind. Nevertheless, there is still pardoning mercy and cleansing grace available in the Blood of Jesus Christ for every sinner alive today.

As salt flavors every drop of the sea, even so does Sin affect every part of your nature, thoughts, and deeds. You have indulged in sin and ruined your soul. Sinful pleasures, evil companions, secret vices, and self-righteousness will keep you from trusting Christ. Christ is the Remedy for every sin-sick sinner. Self-satisfied sinners wind up in the lake of fire. Christ died for the ungodly, not good and respectable people. Only one Person ever loved you enough to die for your sins. When Jesus died for you, you didn't love Him at all. In fact, you were His enemy, but He was your Friend. Jesus didn't love you what He could get out of you. He loved you what He could give to you. Your best works, boasted performances, human virtues and goodness are all rottenness in the sight of the heart-searching God. Quit your own righteousness now.

Here are some Glad Tidings for the Guilty: God became human flesh in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. He lived here below a life of love, labor, and holy obedience. Then He was betrayed, condemned to die, and nailed to a rugged cross. Christ Jesus died especially for your sins; He suffered the divine justice and wrath due to your transgressions. Jesus His own self bore our sins in His own body on the tree. Jesus loved you, and gave Himself for your sins. Jesus put away sin by making a full Atonement to divine justice for you. Jesus was punished in your place, and so ended your awful sin debt. God cannot punish those for whom Christ was punished. God cannot exact the same debt twice, first of the Substitute, and then of the sinner. Jesus is the One Atonement for human sin, trust Him to satisfy God for you. All approaches to God must be by Jesus’ Blood alone. There is no other way to safely approach God (John 14:6). The old, old Gospel must do, for nothing new is true.

It is either salvation by self, or Salvation by Christ. Is your righteousness one which you have attained yourself, or has the Righteousness of Christ been freely imputed to you by the Holy Ghost? If you will simply yield, God can make you absolutely righteous through Christ’s Righteousness by imputation. Imputation is the miracle of God by which He transfers Christ’s Righteousness to your guilty soul, and then transfers all your sins (past-present-future) to Christ Jesus. Then you get to take credit for everything that Jesus has done for you, and are made absolutely righteous in God’s sight. If you’ll let Him, God will impute to you what Jesus did for you.

Now understand - God will only accept you on account of what Jesus IS, and what He did for you. Jesus Himself must be all your Righteousness before God. If you refuse to receive Christ’s Righteousness, you will be damned for sure. Atonement by Blood, Forgiveness of Sins, and Imputation of Righteousness all for free, because Jesus died as your Sinless Substitute. Again, Jesus Christ (God manifest in the flesh) suffered, bled and died bearing human guilt and sin in Himself, and now whosoever trusts in His atoning Blood shall be immediately and irreversibly forgiven, and made a new creature in Christ. You cannot deny your present sinful state, your own conduct proves it every day, and your past guilt troubles your conscience.

Free salvation by Christ’s Atonement is precisely what you need to take away your guilt. Lay hold on eternal life through God's Son. The Gospel is so simple, you'll miss if you're not careful. Human nature wants complicated religion because it wants to get itself involved so it can get self-righteousness as part of the salvation process. The more destitute you are spiritually, the more eligible you are to be saved. Your only safe course is to acknowledge your awful guilt of sin, and need of Atonement by Blood, and then turn away from your sinful self and come to Jesus Christ Himself and place all your trust in His Blood Atonement to completely satisfy the wrath and justice of God against your sins.

Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved. Lord Jesus, I know I'm a sinner, I don't want to go to Hell when I die, right now the best way I know how, I'm going to trust and receive You as my own personal Lord and Savior. God be merciful to a sinner, and save my soul for Jesus' sake. Lord Jesus, please let me know I'm saved. I'm only going to trust you Jesus from now on and nothing else to save my soul and give me eternal life. Thank you Lord for dying for my sins on Calvary's Cross. Hallelujah to the Lamb of God - Christ Jesus' Atoning Blood has fully *satisfied* God's divine justice for me, and all my sin and guilt is gone forever!

*The Unspeakable Gift*

God loved you with an everlasting love on Calvary's Cross. The love of Christ constraineth us. *John 3:16* He SO loved us. Payment is for the Law, but under the Gospel everything is a free gift. God gives us Jesus, He gives us eternal life, free grace, eternal glory, unmerited love, everything. Moved by adoring love alone we give ourselves back to God and His people. The sun in the sky gives light and heat, and God gives mercy and peace to sinners. God gives to us, we thank Him, we give to others, and then they thank God for the kindness He has inspired in us. We are only empty cups that are filled at the everlasting Spring, from us the thirsty drink, but they praise the Fountain where we are filled.

The human mind cannot estimate the Gift of God. You cannot comprehend the value of God's own dear Son. His love is inconceivable, infinite, and unspeakable. Christ Jesus Himself is the unspeakable Gift. *II Corinthians 9:15* Most preachers say far too little about Christ today in their sermons. You cannot extol Him too highly. God commended His love to sinful man through the bloody death of His sinless Son. In the death of His Son, God declared His bleeding love to guilty men, and His hatred to Sin. The Cross is a hospital for sick sinners, the Cross reveals man's evil, but provides The Remedy for it. Sinners are spared because Jesus died. We freely proclaim Christ's salvation to bankrupt sinners - Christ's great redemption, His matchless Propitiation. The wise man lays the whole stress of his salvation on Christ alone.

You cannot magnify the Lord Jesus too highly. He is the sinner's Friend, the mighty Savior, the gracious Pardoner. He bore the sins of the whole world, He was numbered with the transgressors. God made Him to be Sin for us, though He knew no sin, that we might be made the Righteousness of God in Christ. Jesus condescended to earth in divine Love taking our place, He stood in the sinner's place, that we might stand in His place, and be accepted in the Beloved. We are never weary of this divine Truth, it fills us with consolation and hope. This is the sublime truth - The Substitution of the Incarnate God for us. His love for guilty sinners is unfathomable. Jesus Christ is not only the Father's Son, but He is God Himself in the flesh. Jesus said, "I and my Father are one." God gave up His only begotten, well-beloved Son, it pained His heart, the Cross cost God everything. God is grieved by my sins, He can feel my infirmities and sorrow. He is a living God, a caring God, a feeling God. Christ Jesus is the Unspeakable Gift.

The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us. He became a Jewish man, so He could become man's Substitute. God's infinite love was put on display at Calvary. How wide, how high, how deep, how broad, was the gift of God to the sons of man. God's Son was despised and spit upon that day, He was maltreated and murdered by sinners. The Incarnate God had all of human sin imputed to Him, the entire world's transgressions were laid upon Him. Jesus bore our sins in His own body on the tree. Sin was a horror to His perfect pure spirit. He was covered in a bloody sweat in Gethsemane. Up on the Cross, the iron rod of God's divine wrath was bruising and pounding the innocent soul of the Son of God. The blood of God flowed from Jesus' veins on Calvary's Cross. God was bereaved of His dear Son. Sinful ingratitude stung His heart, evil malice bit Him. The pangs tore His heart, His loss and grief is inexpressible. Jesus was bound like a felon, accused like a criminal, mocked as a impostor, scourged as a transgressor, rejected as a vile wretch, and crucified as worthy of death. He was nailed to the Cross like a thief, He bore the agony of all our sins. It pleased JEHOVAH God to bruise Christ, He put Him to grief. He was made to be Sin for us. Jesus descended from heaven's majesty to Bethlehem's manger, from the throne of JEHOVAH to the arms of Mary. He stooped down from Heaven's peace to endure the contradiction of sinners against Himself, shameful contempt was poured upon Him. The Resurrection and the Life died for you. The Perfect One bore our sins for us.

Christ's Precious Blood was shed to deliver us from Hell itself - that hopeless place where the Gospel is never heard, where they rest not day nor night, where the voice of mercy can never enter. The hopeless cry in Hell is, "He that is unjust, let him be unjust still." The greatest blessing we enjoy is the free forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of God's Grace. We are washed in God's own Blood, clothed in the Righteousness of God's own Son. We are adopted into the eternal family of God, heirs of God, joint-heirs with Jesus Christ, all the covenant blessings. All things are yours, the world, life, death, things present, things to come, all are yours, ye are Christ's, and Christ is God's. God spared not His own Son, He gave Jesus to us and also has freely given us all things through Him. The gift of Christ baffles the carnal mind, and dumbfounds human intellect. At Calvary there is boundless mercy, unutterable mercy, divine Love. Tongues of flesh can never fully declare the wondrous love of Christ Jesus. The sense of forgiven sins through the Atoning Sacrifice will guide you in your daily life. Heaven cannot match Jesus, and no one on earth can describe Him. Nothing else can content a man's conscience, and nothing else can Satisfy God's justice and vengeance on Sin, but Jesus' perfect Blood Atonement.

God has given you Jesus Christ, now give Him yourself. Ye are not your own, ye are bought with a price, so glorify God now in your spirit and in your body. Present your body a living sacrifice daily. Bless God for your creation, your reasoning, your continued life, the movement of your limbs, your sleep through the night, how you enjoy good health, to be out of the hospital, out of prison, and out of hell. Glorify God for all these mercies. But most of all thank Him for His unspeakable Gift - Christ Jesus the Lord. Show forth His praises, but actions in private, speak louder than words in public. Give yourself away to the Lord Jesus Himself every day (Romans 12:1-3). Don't just talk about it, really do it, live for Him who died for you. Give your substance to God, give freely and cheerfully. Break all your alabaster boxes joyfully for His dear sake. This is not to purchase merit with God, but is a love token and gratitude to His grace. Submit in gracious joy to His divine will. Always give God thanks and Christ glory. Salvation is all of grace from beginning to end. Salvation is altogether a Gift, it is not of works at all, it is not of human merit, the forgiveness of sins is only of God's grace, and grace alone. Christ is All - He is the Gift of God. Birds excite each other to sing in the morning dawn, we should do the same concerning the Lord Jesus Christ. Lead and encourage others to praise and serve the Lord. Eagerly seek out those that do not know the Lord Jesus Christ and tell out His Good News to them. Let this be the motto of your life - Thanks be unto God for His Unspeakable Gift - *II Corinthians 9:15*.

Believe, believe, simply believe on Jesus' blood and name. Be very diligent readers and searchers and doers of the holy Scriptures - the AV1611. Think much about Christ and His Blood Atonement. The first and main thing is to believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. Make diligent examination of Jesus' character and life, death, and resurrection. Sit at the foot of the Cross, view the Son of God bleeding and dying for sinful men. See your sin crucifying the Savior, let His Blood wash your sins away. Christ is the Son of God, think of the merits of the Incarnate God bearing human guilt. His Atoning Sacrifice is so great. Know, hear, read, and believe more and more about Christ Himself. Receive Him personally into your inward parts. It is Christ Himself that you need, take Him, believe Him now, trust Him, not yourself, even now, and you are saved. Stick with the Scriptures, rely upon the truth alone. Truth alone can work results that are true. Keep on teaching and preaching Jesus Christ all long as you have breath. Cheerfully proclaim the Gospel truth about the bleeding, dying, risen, exalted, coming Savior. Christ Jesus is the Unspeakable Gift *II Corinthians 9:15*.

You Can't Earn a Gift

Imagine that you’ve prepared a wonderful Christmas morning for your family. You’ve saved up all year, shopped, wrapped, decorated, and made all the preparations. In spite of all your efforts, your children come running downstairs eager to celebrate Christmas, but rather than sitting down to open their gifts, they begin feverishly doing things for you to earn their gifts. They start cleaning the garage, washing the cars, doing the dishes, vacuuming the house, ironing clothes, and whatever else they can find to do. Other than having a heart attack, you would probably be disappointed. You would stop them and ask, “Kids, what are you doing? It’s Christmas morning, this isn’t the time for good works; this is the time for receiving gifts!”

Suppose their response goes something like this, “Mom and Dad, we’ve realized that we don’t deserve your gifts to us, and so we’ve decided to earn them. We’ve decided to serve you and do things so that we can deserve your kindness.” What would you do? You would probably explain that this is totally unnecessary! You would tell your kids how much trouble you’ve gone to in saving, shopping, and purchasing their gifts. You don’t want their service (at least not yet) so much as you just want to enjoy Christmas morning and present them with their gifts – your free expression of love to them.

This is the ‘Gospel Message’ of God to the sinful human race. God became a Jewish man – His name was Jesus Christ. He lived a sinless life, suffered, bled, and died to suffer the wrath of God that your sin deserved. He rose again the third day and is alive right now and is willing to save you by His grace alone, without any of your works added. As long as you are busying and worrying yourself with doing, you’re missing what God has already *Done* for you through His Precious Son – the Lord Jesus Christ.

The Bible says, “For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” (Rom 6:23) The gift of eternal life has been worked out through Christ’s sinless life, and purchased by Christ’s shed blood on the Cross. There’s no need for you to DO anything more, but to just trust Christ Himself (His doings and sufferings) to save you from your sins. You must only receive Christ’s Free Gift of Salvation. This gift of salvation is free to you, but it cost God His only begotten Son. All the work and preparations have been made for you. Christ paid it ALL, there’s nothing for you to pay for, nothing at all. Stop trying and just TRUST HIM with your soul. God says, “Come now, let us reason together, saith the LORD.” His invitation to you is not to DO for Him, but rather simply come to Him as a helpless, hopeless, and guilty sinner. Flat out acknowledge your sinfulness. Christ died for the ungodly, not for good, self-righteous people. Christ Crucified is the sinner’s only hope. This is the sole remedy for your disease of sin—TRUST Jesus alone! Christ only receives lost and needy sinners.

There Christ hangs bleeding on yonder Cross for you. Jesus bled for your sins. Look to the Cross, look there, only there! Bring as many sins as you can with you to the Cross – the more the better. No measure of sin in your past can deprive from the gift of salvation. Jesus delights in saving the sinful. Just Trust Him! Forsake all other carnal and religious trusts, and look only to the Lamb of God and His bleeding wounds. Jesus is the Substitute for guilty sinners: He suffered in your place. Look your doubts and sins away at the foot of the Cross. Right now, stop working and worrying, and simply Trust and Live. Salvation is not received by you giving anything to Christ, but salvation comes to your soul by Christ giving you EVERYTHING. Abandon your own goodness.

Jesus will never be a partial Savior. Take Christ (the Gift of God) to be the sole Savior of your soul! You must believe completely on the Lord Jesus Christ to enter Heaven. Only Christ’s Perfect Righteousness and Precious Blood can save you from sin, death, and Hell. “Believe on” means an unreserved transfer of trust from oneself to the Lord Jesus Christ. The faith that saves is not believing certain Truths of Christ, nor believing that Jesus is a Savior – but it is resting on Him, depending on Him, lying with all your soul’s weight on Christ as the sole foundation of your eternal hope. Believe that Christ can and will save you! Leave the whole matter of your salvation with Christ alone in absolute confidence. Christ is the only Propitiation for your sin: He is only One that can appease the wrath of God that abides on you because of your sin against God. Christ gave Himself for you. God be merciful to me a sinner, and save me now by Christ’s Precious Blood alone!
