Send the Light of the Glorious Gospel of Christ to every place on Earth you can. Christ Jesus died in the sinner's place. This sublime truth, this glorious theme, this divine doctrine the Bible calls the GOSPEL OF CHRIST is always overflowing and teeming with the highest Hope and gentlest Mercy possible. The Message of Mercy must be clearly and distinctly laid down for sinners to understand. Let your Faith take Aim at the center of the Target; the center point upon which Saving Faith fixes itself is the PRECIOUS BLOOD.
To sum it all up in one sentence with great plainness of speech: The grand Fact is that my guilty Soul is spared from the wrath of God because The Lamb of God bore my sins, and suffered, bled, and died in my place. There will never be a sweeter, surer, or plainer Gospel than this. O, what a Message of Mercy! The LAMB OF GOD'S Precious Blood is the sweetest comfort to the guilty sinner. The Gospel of the Grace of God is the pillow, mattress, and blanket for the weary Soul. Ye must be born by the preaching of THE CROSS. The CROSS is the center of my heart's trust and delight. The Holy Ghost—the divine Wind, the Finger of God—is the only Impetus of the Gospel, for only the Spirit of God can give power, momentum, and Life to what we proclaim about JESUS.
There is no sentence under heaven more beautiful than this: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners. The sinless Son of God took all human sin upon Himself; He offered up Himself as the Substitutionary ATONEMENT for the sins of the whole world, suffering on my behalf. I have nothing to do but to Receive who He is, accept what He has already FINISHED, and Trust my Soul wholly with Him.
Please come to JESUS Now, Yield to be Nothing, and have JESUS to be your All in All. The LORD hath laid on JESUS my iniquities; The Lamb of God was oppressed and afflicted in my place; and now God freely forgives and graciously remits my sins and sets my Soul free indeed, for JESUS' SAKE. I Joy in God today through my Lord Jesus Christ, by Whom I have Now received the ATONEMENT. Ransom Paid, Atonement Finished, Eternal Redemption Obtained. The WONDERFUL Lamb of God's Incarnation, Finished Atonement, great Redemption, matchless Propitiation, the Sinner's Friend, the faithful Surety, the mighty Savior, the sinless Substitute, the gracious Pardoner, and the Glorious Incarnate Creator can never be spoken of too much.
Christ died for the ungodly. JESUS bore my sins in His own body on THE TREE; He was numbered with the transgressors; He was made to be Sin for me, though He knew no Sin, so that I could be made the Righteousness of God in HIM. JESUS wondrously and lovingly condescended from Heaven to take my place. He stood in my place before Pilate that day; He died in my place on Calvary's Cross, that my Soul could be accepted in the Beloved. Through the tender Mercy of God, the Dayspring from on high hath visited me, to give Light to me that sat in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide my feet in the way of Peace.
For the Holy Creator to come into a relationship and communion with guilty man, there must first be an Atonement by Precious Sinless Blood—the Sacrifice of a Sinless Life. Believe in the infinite Goodness and Mercy of God in the Person of His dear SON, and come and trust in JESUS alone. Only JESUS can cure your Soul of the pervasive plague of evil that consumes your heart. God was in Christ; He Who framed the worlds came down here below and took upon Himself human flesh. He was made in the likeness of men, found in fashion as a man, born at Bethlehem of a Jewish virgin, cradled in an animal's manger, fed from a woman's breasts—God showed up here on Earth as a Jewish baby. He humbled Himself and lived a sinless life, going about doing Good and always pleasing the Father.
Atonement by Precious Blood to save sinners—this was why JESUS came all the way down here. My sins were laid upon the LAMB OF GOD; He was made a Curse for me, carried my sorrows, was afflicted and despised of men, and made an ATONEMENT for my transgressions. God was in Christ reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them. The forgiveness of sins is only by a bleeding, sinless Substitute on the Cross. Christ stood in the sinner's place and took my sins upon Him, and now all my HOPE and CONFIDENCE depend solely upon His ATONEMENT for Time and Eternity.
We can never make mention too frequently of God manifest in the flesh, bleeding and dying for helpless sinners. The Gospel of God is absolutely Free to every Soul under heaven that desires JESUS CHRIST. The Gospel gives Rest to the Conscience and Soul by the complete Forgiveness of Sins through the Atoning Blood of the Lord Jesus Christ. The Gospel of Christ gives Rest to the Heart by supplying an object for the affection worthy of all your Love, and Rest for the intellect by giving you eternal certainty. The Gospel is God's final ultimatum, the only Message of Mercy to guilty sinners, the only Savior, the sure Foundation that Hope can be built upon, the Fountain that can wash away human sins, and the single door of escape by which man flees the guilt and punishment of his sins.
Lay your guilty hands on the head of the sinless, slaughtered Lamb of God—The Substitute dying in the sinner's place, the Atoning Sacrifice, Christ being numbered with the transgressors, my sins laid upon my Offering and Surety, my sins put away from my Soul by Him, never to be charged or mentioned against me forever in Heaven's Court of Law. JESUS said, "Verily I say unto you, Except ye be converted, and become as little children, ye shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven." Whosoever believeth in the LAMB OF GOD hath Everlasting Life, Free Forgiveness of Sins, a change of heart and appetites, adoption into the family of God, and free admission into the Kingdom of God.
