My meat is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to finish His work. (John 4:34) Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10) Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He seeth the Father do: for what things soever He doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise. (John 5:19) I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and My judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me. (John 5:30) The works which the Father hath given Me to finish, the same works that I do, bear witness of Me, that the Father hath sent Me. (John 5:36)
For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but the will of Him that sent Me. And this is the Father's will which hath sent Me, that of all which He hath given Me I should lose nothing, but should raise it up again at the last day. And this is the will of Him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:38-40)
No man can come to Me, except the Father which hath sent Me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day. (John 6:44) No man can come unto Me, except it were given unto him of my Father. (John 6:65) My doctrine is not Mine, but His that sent Me. (John 7:16) He that speaketh of himself seeketh his own glory: but he that seeketh His glory that sent Him, the same is true, and no unrighteousness is in Him. (John 7:18)
Then said Jesus unto them, When ye have lifted up the Son of man, then shall ye know that I am He, and that I do nothing of Myself; but as My Father hath taught Me, I speak these things. (John 8:28) I do always those that please Him. (John 8:29) Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love Me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of Myself, but He sent me. (John 8:42) I must work the works of Him that sent Me. (John 9:4)
For I have not spoken of Myself, but the Father which sent Me, He gave Me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. (John 12:49) The words that I speak unto you I speak not of Myself: but the Father that dwelleth in Me, He doeth the works. (John 14:10) The word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent Me. (John 14:24) As the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. (John 14:31) I have glorified Thee on the earth: I have finished the work which Thou gavest Me to do. (John 17:4)
Nevertheless not my will, but Thine, be done. (Luke 22:42) Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, saith, I thirst. (John 19:28) Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, He said, IT IS FINISHED: and He bowed His head, and gave up the ghost. (John 19:30) Looking unto JESUS the author and finisher of our faith. (Hebrews 12:2) WORTHY IS THE LAMB!
