You are like a lost sheep which has wandered away from its shepherd; like a rebellious child which has run away from home and is estranged from its father. By nature, you live in a spiritual prison called Sin, and the only person who can rescue you from your bondage and slavery is the Lord Jesus Christ. You must search for God, but do not look within for you are empty and void of anything God-like; for you are altogether estranged from God. No sane man looks in an empty wallet over and over again expecting to find money there. No man searches a graveyard for the living. So never look to yourself for merit, Grace or Salvation. Stop trying to perform good works that you cannot perform, hoping to better yourself and gain merit with God by your own exertions. If you try to run your life, it will end up running you. Let Jesus run your life. If you try to save your own soul, you will lose it. Let Jesus save your soul freely by His grace and power - that is all.
If you die unconverted, you will die twice, and the second death is to be feared the most. Seek and find forgiveness by the Precious Blood of Christ Jesus. Take heed, take heed, your damnation is growing nearer. It is high time to awake out of your sinful stupor. The atheist and religionist continually chooses to one his depraved imagination and not the mind of Christ, and chooses to be his own god. The careless sinner does his best to try to shake off thoughts of death, judgment, and eternal wrath. The dread of divine justice and eternal punishment for sinning haunts him day after day. Every sin you've ever committed must receive a just recompense of reward. Someone, someone has to pay for your sins.
The Precious Blood of God Incarnate has cleared my soul of all debt to divine justice. You are at enmity with God, guilty of breaking His Law and rejecting His Son, and you are liable to His divine wrath. Jesus endured the dreadful sentence of death which is attached to human sin. The infinitely pure Savior suffered for the sinful. Jesus suffered on account of your sins against God. He gave Himself for your sins, He yielded Himself to the death of the Cross. You can surely trust your soul with such a Savior as Jesus the Lord. Have your sins ever been forgiven freely by Jesus Himself?
The carnal mind thinks it can know God without Christ. Your very best works while you are lost are only presumptuous sins which reject the Savior's Righteousness. If you are currently unconverted, the wrath of God abides upon you, for God is angry with the lost sinner every day, and this is the most dangerous position a man can be in while here on Earth. You have defied the wrath of God and dared Him day after day. The only way you can you find the living God is in the Lord Jesus Christ, and there is nothing for you to do but to simply believe on Him.
Jesus saves us sinners by standing in our place and bearing the wrath of God on our behalf. Jesus stepped into the sinner's place, and underwent the penalty of sin for the ungodly. Believe God's words about Jesus Christ, and then trust your soul with Jesus Christ, and free Salvation will be yours instantly. What must I do to be saved from the love of sin? How can I be at peace with God? Who can take away my guilt? Answer: The Man Christ Jesus, the one Reconciler between God and sinful men. There's no time like the present - Look only to the great Reconciler, who is God manifest in the flesh, who bled to death to atone for your sins, The Lord Jesus Christ Himself.
After you are born again by the Holy Spirit, hold to the Cross, exalt the Precious Blood and Atoning Sacrifice, magnify the finished work of God manifest in the flesh, bid sinners to come and believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, continually endeavor to bring the lost to the feet of the Savior. The Gospel message must always be kept clear before the human mind; sinners must be reminded regularly that Jesus loved them enough to die for them. The Gospel only exalts the Lord Jesus Christ. Have faith in God Incarnate.
