The Simple Salty Truth

Anything that is complicated is bound to be crooked. Something that takes too long to explain, there's got to be something wrong with it. Truth is simple and is easy to explain, even to a little child. Simplicity is truth's becoming garb. Human nature says, "If it's difficult, make it harder; and if it's hard, make it impossible." Only a dirty God-forsaken rascal that loves his sin would reject Jesus Christ. Every atheist doesn't like the Bible, because it is against their sin, and they know it. The atheist despises the Bible, because it knows all about them, and tells it plainly. The inspiration of the Bible, the atoning sacrifice of the Lamb of God, and the freeness of God's grace is what every sinner needs. Only the axe of Christ's atoning sacrifice can penetrate the root of human unbelief. There can be no mercy for you until you come to God by Jesus Christ's precious blood and love. Simply trust Christ's blood, receive Him, believe on His name. Have done with your doubts. There is no humility like simple obedience to Christ's call to come to the Cross and leave your sins and self-righteousness.

Real faith is simply the hand that takes from the hand of Christ, and then blesses that Hand that gives so freely. The contemplation of sin in your thoughts is the beginning of every sinful act. Your Sin begins in your impulses, thoughts, interests, tendencies, attitudes, affections, desires, and intents. Sin begins with an unlawful desire, sin dominates your thoughts, and it rules your passion, and then you being to form a scheme to obtain the forbidden. Sin then blazes into your words and actions, from internal thoughts to external acts. You're in a flat-footed mess, you've sinned against your Maker, you're as guilty as Sin, but there's still hope for you, because Christ died for the ungodly, that's you. Good choices lead to good consequences; and bad choices, forgetting God and rejecting Christ, lead to bad consequences. Right thinking always leads to right living. An atheist trades short-term sinful pleasure for long-term eternal pain and torment in the lake of fire. Atheism is the doorstep to hell. The Law of God puts you down, and the Christ of God will pick you up. God has provided the Savior, and now you must provide the sinner, and all will be well with you after that. Bad habits and bad companions lead to bad places - like jail, prison, hell and the lake of fire.

Exalt Christ, put down man. Exalt the Creator, put down the creature. God will only love you freely and forgive you graciously for Jesus' sake. God will never save you for the sake of something you've done. Put the crown upon the head of Jesus, exalt the Almighty Savior. Self-righteousness is the rotten fruit of human pride. Man is utterly fallen and depraved, he is sin-full, he is condemned, and in himself, he is altogether hopeless of salvation. Salvation is of the Lord Jesus Christ alone. Reject and discard all human merit utterly. As a man's faith is, so is he. Only the Blood of Christ can keep down your evil passions. Faith is patient trust and obedience to Jesus Himself. Faith is simply coming to Jesus, fix all your hope on Jesus. God is willing to receive all sinners trust Christ's blood and merits. Mediate much on Jesus' life, love, and blood, consider and admire the Savior all the day long.

Jesus is the Great Forgiver of wretched sinners. The essence of the Gospel is the gift of God's only begotten Son to die for us sinners, so that we might live eternally through Him. Human sin needs an atoning sacrifice, you deserve to die, your soul is dead empty without Christ, but you can be rescued by Another dying for you. Place your reliance upon God's words, rest your guilty wounded soul on the finished work of Jesus Christ. Hold to this - Christ died for the ungodly, Behold the Lamb of God which taketh away the sin of the world, Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners, Whosoever believeth in Jesus is justified from all things, He that believeth in Jesus is not condemned - Hold on to that, and come what may, it will be well with your soul. Trust the sin-bearing Savior, believe on the sin-atoning Lamb of God. Human nature thinks it is good enough without Christ's atoning sacrifice, and robs Christ of His glory. You can't please God with your outward religiousness, ecclesiastical correctness, or with your very best outward performances. Your righteousness is not good enough to please God's pure holiness. Your own righteousness is the highest insult to Christ. Have done with any reliance upon yourself whatsoever. Trust Christ who died for guilty and undeserving sinners. All your sin can be put away at once through faith in Christ's atoning blood. Christ Jesus is the Lamb of God who was slain for sinners.

God was manifest in the flesh in the person of Jesus of Nazareth. Christ died for sinners, whosoever believeth in Him hath everlasting life. Look now to Jesus suffering for sinners. God be merciful to me a sinner, for Jesus' sake. Renew me within, cleanse my heart, purge me from my filthy ways. I hate my sins, deliver me from their power and dominion, hold me up in life and death and Eternity, save my soul from the hell I deserve.

We All Deserve Hell, But...

Every one of us deserves Hell for our sins against our Maker, BUT there is still hope for real sinners who sense their need and danger. Here's the Gospel Message in plain and simple terms: You’ve sinned against your kind Maker and your good Creator, you ought to die in your sins and be sent straight to hell with no hope of mercy. You deserve to be damned, and you know it. You should get what you deserve, and you’ve earned what’s coming to you. But there is a way to escape the eternal death and damnation your sins deserve. Religion teaches you to trust yourself in some way or fashion, but the Gospel teaches you to only trust in Christ’s work and blood. “The moment a real sinner believes, and trusts only in the Crucified God, A royal divine pardon at once he receives, and Free Salvation in full through God’s Blood.”

Man loves his sins, he insanely loves the evil that will eventually damn him, he is proud of his religious accomplishments, he has no love for God and refuses to glorify the God who died for him. Hell is promised you as the result of your sin, but Heaven is still available to you only through the mercy and Blood of God. But you still selfishly cling to your works and iniquities with a death-grip. You had rather trust yourself than just trust Christ alone. You prefer the sinful amusements of time, rather than the joys of eternity. Your damnation is your own choice; you will deserve to be damned if you die neglecting and rejecting Christ. Only the blood of Jesus Christ bridges the gap between a guilty sinner and a holy God.

God sent one man into this world who was sinless, He was a man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He was a perfect and righteous man and the world hated Him. This is the surest proof that the human race is condemned and there is something bad wrong with the human race that is incurable. Every man is in an utterly lost and godless state, and must be renewed by the power of God. All men are bad from beginning to end and in dire need of the Savior. Men are senseless, ungrateful, laden with iniquity, totally sinful from head to foot.

This is man’s condemnation, God sent one sinless man into this world (Christ Jesus), and you don’t want Him. That shows you something about the darkness of your human nature. A good man who wants to quit his sin would appreciate a man who is sinless. If you don’t love Jesus Christ, there is something desperately wrong with your character. If Jesus Christ didn’t come to earth, you might have had an alibi for your sin. You could say, “Well, I’m just as good as so and so.” But Christ Jesus came into the world, and what can you say now? You can’t say, I’m just as good as so and so, because so and so is Jesus Christ, and you’re not as good as Him, because He is perfectly perfect, and you’re completely bad. You are utterly unable to get rid of your sin on your own. Your reformations can never atone for your sinful past, or work out a righteousness for your eternal future. You must look to Christ for all your soul’s needs. Never trust in any of your works to save you from sin.

Rest yourself on Christ; rely on His unchanging eternal grace and divine blood, trust yourself with the divine and living Savior. Never look to yourself or anything else for help, look only to Christ. He will be as good as His word, and save you now. Trust yourself to be saved by Christ alone. Go and put yourself into Christ’s hands and He will forgive and put away all your sins forever. Only trust Jesus and you are saved, no good works, no good feelings, no religious experiences are required. Just as you are, believe that Christ can save you now with a present and complete salvation. The way of salvation is to simply trust Christ and His works, simply believe He can and will save you, and trust yourself with Him.

God became a Jewish man, He was perfectly sinless all of His life from birth to death, He took all your sins upon His shoulders, He bore them up to Calvary’s Cross and suffered what was due for your sins in His own person on the Cross. You must trust yourself with Him, only trust the Crucified Redeemer with all your heart. If you’re a self-made man, you think you are your own creator, you are very proud of your own self and works, you have made yourself, you keep yourself going every day, but your latter end will be a frightful and terrible one. Your mind’s strength will decay, and your physical vigor will soon fail and waste away, and then you will have to face REALITY – death and judgment before the Almighty.

You may now believe in Christ and live eternally. Believe that He died for your sins, trust only in "HIM" personally for salvation. Only the Holy Spirit can make you feel yourself a sinner. Have done with feelings and doings and carnal reasonings, simply trust your guilty soul with the person of Christ. Here is salvation - Christ saves and sinners trust. Sincere trusting in Jesus' works is the safest thing you can do. Believe on Jesus, have done with all other wrong confidences, false hopes, and foolish trusts, REJECT your good works and self-righteousness, and say, “Christ is all my salvation." Trust only in His power to save. Never trust yourself at all.

Christ will deliver you from all the guilt of your past life, from the evil habits of your present life, and from the temptations of your future life. You can only come to Christ by trusting Him, trust Him and He will save you. No sinner has ever sincerely trusted Christ Himself in vain. Believe only in the Promises, rest on His promises. Renounce all other hopes and trusts, rest your lost soul in His pierced hands. Believe in Christ alone this moment. Trust to Christ only. Trusting in yourself will only lead to utter despair. It is now time for you to trust in God – the Lord Jesus Christ. If you would be saved from hell fire, you must turn from from sinful way of living and self-righteousness and trust Christ’s works. Only the Holy Spirit can give you the strength and grace to Turn to God. Saving faith is trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ, trusting Him truly, wholly, solely, constantly, trusting Him now. Trust in Christ to save your soul, and He will do it.

Believe what is written concerning Christ is true, and then, trust yourself entirely to Him, that will save you. Throw your whole weight on Him. Your whole and only hope hangs on the pierced hands that were nailed to the Cross. Your sole trust must be in God’s precious blood which flowed from His wounds. Stake all your eternity on Him. There is no peace for your soul unless you come and trust Christ. Come to Christ simply as you are, trust yourself with Christ. Cast your guilty soul under His blood. Only God the Great Creator can renew your inward nature, and re-purpose your life. Believe in Christ and be saved, look to the Bleeding Substitute and live, trust yourself to Christ alone, rest on His atoning sacrifice, and you are saved this moment. Ask the Holy Spirit to give you simple faith in Jesus. You are saved the moment that you stop trusting yourself, and trust Christ alone. Please don’t die unsaved. You must die and go somewhere to live forever – either heaven or hell. Hang your soul on Him who hung and bled on the cruel Cross for your sins. Just hang on Him in helpless dependence that hung on Calvary’s tree.

The bleeding wounds of Christ is the only remedy for human sin, there is no other remedy for your sin-sick soul but the Blood of God. Your past actions and future resolves are useless, meaningless, and worthless to help take away your sins against God. Trust your immortal soul only to Him who bled on the tree for your sins. You are not asked to do anything or feel anything, you are simply asked to trust your soul in the pierced hands of God. Turn from your love of sin and self, reject your good works, they will only help damn you. Why will ye die in your sins when God will freely save you for Jesus' sake? Think much of Jesus bleeding for your sins. Trust in God’s blood and you are safe and saved forever. Make Him your sole confidence, your soul’s only reliance and mainstay. Trust everything you have to Jesus this very moment. He will keep you to the end and to all eternity. Depend only on God’s Son.

You must stop trusting yourself completely, and you must trust your soul wholly and entirely, simply and eternally in the hands of Christ. Believe only in the Crucified God, there is no salvation in any other. Salvation is not in yourself at all, your feelings, works, and religious ceremonies will only deceive and damn you. Renounce your love of sin and come to Christ at the Cross.

Woe unto the soul that rejects Christ’s blood, that denies His Deity, tramples His blood, abhors His words, despises His Cross, and ignores His call. Your place is just to be nothing and let Jesus be everything. Trust Christ alone, never trust yourself at all. Rely on the Spirit of God, never rely on anything that comes from yourself. Your soul will only be safe when your entire dependence is on Christ’s blood and righteousness. Only trust in God's Blood. “The moment a real sinner believes, and trusts only in the Crucified God, A royal divine pardon at once he receives, and Free Salvation in full through God’s Blood.”

** Make Christ your only dependence and never trust in anything else at all.
** Make God and His glory your only object in life.
** Have no care but to please God. Be careful for nothing except to honor the Lord Jesus Christ.
** Make God the Holy Ghost your only guide and confidence.
** Seek the LORD, and make Him your protection in times of daily need and danger.

See Psa 25:5, 59:9; 62:1,5; 69:3; Isa 30:18; Isa 64:4; Jer 14:22; Hos 12:6; Micah 7:7; II Thess 3:5; Gen 49:18; Psa 27:14; 33:20; 37:7,9,34; 39:7; 40:1; 123:2; 130:5-6; Prov 20:22; Isa 8:17; 33:2; 40:31; Lam 3:25-26; Zeph 3:8; Luke 12:36; I Cor 1:7

After you are born again of the Spirit, if you would keep from sin, draw nigh to God, seek always the fresh communion of the Holy Spirit, never trust yourself a single day. Never trust yourself, look to God for new grace every day.

Don't Lose Your Soul

It will be an irreversible, immeasurable, irreplaceable, inexcusable loss if you continue to love your sin, and lose your immortal soul. What good is everything in this world, if you wind up losing your soul in Eternity. You are giving far more in this world, to gain far less in Eternity. Evolution is pure idolatry and gross superstition. Atheism uses the THEORY of evolution as a false hope that there is no God, no hereafter, and no hell. Every evolutionist believes a flat-out lie, and all lies lead to the Lake of Fire. Only the Truth, Jesus Christ Himself (John 14:6), leads to Heaven. The train is leaving the station, the only safe ride into Eternity is led by Jesus Christ, not charlie darwin. The thing that runs and controls you is your god. Your trouble is in your heart - it's called Sin. Iniquity is the inward evil impulse and thought that leads you to outwardly transgress God's law and reject Christ's Gospel. You do what you do, because you are what you are.

God sees the profanity in your heart before it gets to your lips. God knows all about your sinful desires. God sees the evil impulses of your heart that leads you to commit the act of sin, He reads your thought life everyday. The Gospel says that you don't have to go to Hell. Don't pamper your body, and neglect your soul. The devil doesn't care how you go to Hell, just as long as you go where he's going, that's all he cares about. Nobody but Jesus Christ can do anything for your guilty soul. Stop playing with sin, the wrath of God, and your eternal destiny. You are between the ROCK and a hot place. The worst man in the world is the man that doesn’t believe the Bible is the word of God. The thing that is first in your life is your god. Your god is the thing that dominates and controls you. The thing that has the high seat in your soul is your god. Whatever has first place in your mind is your god. Every unregenerate man has a false god, most of the time its himself. The wisest thing you could ever do is trust your soul to Jesus Christ, and then commit your life to cause and service of Christ.

Human nature always stumbles over the simplicity and purity of the Gospel. The Gospel is just too simple and too pure for vile self-righteous human nature to accept. Man makes an idol to worship and then it winds up tumbling over and crushing him in the end. Give up all your lustful pleasures and self-righteousness. Folly is the opposite of the Fear of God. Evolution is only another satanic decoy that leads heady and high-minded sinners off into the lake of fire. Atheists defy their Maker, reject Christ's Gospel, scorn His mercy, mock His Cross, curse His Blood, neglect His Bible, and defy His invitations, and wind up going to Hell where they belong. We all deserve Hell, and you're going to go to Hell, if you don't watch out. You reject Christ at your own peril. It is a fearful thing to live and go out into Eternity with God as your enemy. Atheism is a sin of the most heinous character, and an intolerable offense against your Creator - Jesus Christ. The gnawing tooth of time, and the foul breath of decay will soon take away all the treasures you gather here on this earth. Human righteousness just won't do, you will need Christ's Righteousness on your soul to protect you from the wrath of God to come.

A man with a pure heart has received Jesus Christ. A man with Jesus Christ in his heart is blessed, that is, he is happy. The only way to get a pure heart is to let Jesus Christ give you a new heart. You see life according to what you are within. You look at life according to what you are inwardly. You can’t see right, until God makes you right. You can’t see the kingdom of God, unless you are born again. The difference between Jesus Christ and the best man that ever lived is the difference between noonday and midnight. You can’t get rid of Jesus Christ. You can’t reject Him and turn your back on Him. You can go on and live in sin, and go out into Eternity without God, but you’ll never get rid of Jesus Christ. The trouble with man is that they are all wrong, they are not right with their Creator. Look now to Jesus on the Cross for mercy, or you’ll have to look at Him on a throne of Judgment and suffer His wrath. You can see Jesus now at the Cross. Come to the Cross, and get right with Jesus right now.

The neglect of God is the open door to Hell, and to forget Christ is to ensure yourself a place in the lake of fire. If you reject Christ, you are your own destroyer, and seal your own damnation. Your outward sins clearly discover the inward depravity of your unregenerate heart. Self-righteous, sin-loving human nature despises the simple, free, pure Gospel. You might as well face it - you're a sinner, you can't save yourself, Christ died for sinners just like you, and only Christ can save you from your love for sin. Get your mind off everything but Jesus Christ, and you will have a sound mind. You don't just have a soul, you are a Soul, and Jesus wants to save your soul by His blood and grace. The hideous black spots of sin on your soul can only be washed out by the Blood of God which flowed from Christ's veins on bloody Calvary. Lord Jesus, here I am a poor sinner, lost and undone, I believe you died for my sins, I can’t save myself, there’s no good thing about me. Here and now, I yield myself to You, take my sins away, give me your Righteousness.

Continually

And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually. Seek the Lord and His strength, seek His face continually. I will bless the Lord at all times: His praise shall continually be in my mouth. O Lord: let Thy lovingkindness and Thy truth continually preserve me. Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee: let such as love Thy salvation say continually, The Lord be magnified. The goodness of God endureth continually.

Let such as love thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified. But I will hope continually, and will yet praise the LORD more and more. My soul is continually in my hand: yet do I not forget Thy law. I will have respect unto Thy statutes continually. My son, keep thy father's commandment, and forsake not the law of thy mother: Bind them continually upon thine heart, and tie them about thy neck. And the Lord shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.

Therefore turn thou to thy God: keep mercy and judgment, and wait on thy God continually. And were continually in the temple, praising and blessing God. Amen. But we will give ourselves continually to prayer, and to the ministry of the word. By Jesus therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name.

A Really Smart Fool

An atheist is a really smart fool with a brilliant depraved mind that knows a lot about what doesn't really matter, wastes his entire life on clever foolishness, and eventually winds up losing his own soul forever because he loves himself (Sin) so dearly. Every man is a failure if he succeeds at the wrong thing - and the will of God is always the Right Thing. An atheist may have a high IQ, but he always has low morals. Without Christ, every educated man is an ingenious moron, a shrewd devil. The atheist secretly hugs and harbors his sins. The atheist trusts theories, not truth; he lives for the here and now, not Eternity; for self, not the Savior. The atheist magnifies man, the creature; not Jesus Christ, the Creator. The atheist is an enemy of God by his wicked works. You are totally bad, and Jesus Christ is totally good - you need His Righteousness imparted and imputed to your guilty soul, or you will never make it past the White Throne Judgment. Abhor your sin, adore Christ, that's what works every day. The only cure for addiction and propensity to sinning is found at the foot of the Cross, down low at the feet of Jesus is where a sinner receives a sound mind and pure heart.

You MUST be born again from above, there is nothing whatsoever that can help you down here on this earth. The Holy Ghost of God must move in your life, or you shall be surely doomed. Only the Holy Ghost can create saving faith in Christ Jesus' blood and real repentance of your self-righteousness and sin. Human nature cannot produce eternal life within itself. Someone outside of you (God) has to come and plant the seed of the Gospel within your spirit, and then only the Holy Spirit can give that Precious Seed life within you. Your old earthly nature loves the world and sin, it must go. You need a new divine nature implanted within you by the Spirit of God, a heavenly nature that loves Jesus Christ and hates sin. Now understand - A hatred of your sin will always accompany real faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. As soon as a man is born again, a conflict ensues with his thoughts and sins. The atheist knows no such inward conflict with sin; the atheist sins and enjoys it. Where there is and inward spiritual conflict with sin, Christ Jesus and the grace of God are present there.

The true Christian dreads to sin and grieve the Holy Spirit. The man who is dead in his sins has no conflict with his sins. A Christian may sin, but he hates himself for it, he loathes his sin and fights against it. The kingdom of God is always warring against the power of darkness (Colossians 1:13; Romans 7:23). In your natural state, your thoughts go after evil like a vulture after a carcass, and your imagination delights in sin like a kid with candy. The atheist commits spiritual suicide by neglecting the Savior, and spitting in the face of God's own Christ. The deadly poison of sin moves in your inward nature, and breeds death to your soul. Sin like a leopard is lurking within you, and at times pounces upon you, and you have no defense against it. God sees all the foul imaginations, dirty lusting, lewd desires, gross unbelief, vile blasphemies, smutty thoughts, and impure passions within your soul. You set up your secret darling Sin like an idol in your heart, and you heartily adore and love it. Some secret evil is keeping you from receiving Christ, and you know it. Christ sees you in secret and reads your heart all the time. A heart-to-heart relationship with Jesus Christ Himself is the only cure for your sins. Your demented love for sin will soon cause you to commit eternal spiritual suicide. Turn or burn, flee from the wrath to come, come to Jesus Christ, the Crucified and Risen Creator for shelter from the wrath of God and salvation from your sinful ways.

Giving Goodly Words (3)

The Lord Reigneth! The Good Old Way of The Cross, The Faith, The Scriptures, The Gospel! Sin always complicates life. Grace Alone. Glory in the Cross all the day long. Take heed what ye hear. Praying in the Holy Ghost, pray blood-covered prayers. Jesus only. By God's grace, forward and upward. None but Jesus. Let us go forth without the camp. Thus saith the Lord. Preach the Gospel to every creature. Onward to Victory! The Lord is risen indeed. Let God be magnified. Let us pray. I will look unto the LORD, I will wait for the God of my Salvation: my God will hear me (Micah 7:7).

As to the Lord, and not to men. Stand Fast in the Lord. Point sinners to the Redeeming Blood. Stand Still - full surrender. First pure, then peaceable. Beware of yourself. Lay down your love for your sins at Jesus’ feet. Take heed how ye hear. Thou God seest me. God loves you so much He can't take His eyes off you. God knows what you are thinking this very moment. God knows all about you, God is always with you. God knows your character. Pray without ceasing. Make the Gospel plain and simple. There is no difference. God is no respecter of persons. Thanks be to God.

Intensity, Tenacity, Dependability.  Straightway to Jesus. Yield yourselves unto God. Prompt and sincere in the work of the Lord. I do it for Jesus only. Trust-Trust-Trust in His Blood. God accepteth no man's person. Christ is All. There is hope, there is hope, Christ died for sinners. Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him. Thy will be done. It is the Lord: let Him do what seemeth Him good.  Whatever God wants. Lord direct us. Always keep your colors flying. By grace are ye saved. The Lord will provide. Away with all but Jesus. Where prayer is fervent, God is present. A day without Jesus is like tea without sugar. Glory be to God. Worthy is the Lamb!

Trust-submit-serve God.  We preach Christ and Him crucified. My righteousness is of God. Semper Idem (Always the Same). My soul doth magnify the Lord. This one thing I do. Nothing without His smile. Help Lord! The Precious Blood of Jesus. Anywhere with Jesus, nowhere without Jesus. God in Christ only is our Salvation. Jesus is my Righteousness. A short life and a holy one. Encourage someone today. Today, Now! The Word of the Gospel - Come! Trust Christ alone, right now.

Throughly and thoroughly. One thing is needful - One thing I know - One thing I do. This man receiveth sinners. Prepare to meet thy God. To Whom be glory both now and forever. John 8:29 - I do always those things that please Him. He must increase, but I must decrease. Giving thanks always for all things. His servants ye are whom ye obey. Launch out into the deep. While I live, I will praise Him. Looking unto Jesus! Onward, Upward, Heavenward. Whosoever will, let him come. Let us have grace. We joy in God. Yet I will look again. All the world for Jesus. Sure work for Eternity. Let God be true, but every man a liar. For Jesus' sake. With God anywhere. Be of good courage.

All worship be to God only. More and more faith. Continue in prayer. Trust Christ, not yourself. The best time to trust Christ's Blood is right now. The darling Lamb of God loved me and gave Himself for me. Think much of Christ, all of Christ, nothing else but Christ - His Godhead and manhood, His sinless life, bloody death, and victorious resurrection. Only trust and hope in what Christ has done. Jesus is my All, I am complete in Him. Do what God bids you. Let him that is athirst come, and whosoever will, let him take the water of life freely. To God be the glory!

Buy the truth, sell it not. Ask for Mercy, Seek His Grace, Knock for Wisdom. All glory be to Him who died for me. Your best service for your best love. Rest in Christ more confidently. All for nothing, or nothing at all. Mind the Lord, please Him. Fight with your sins by the grace of God. Live nearer to Christ. O God help! All I really have is Him. I am nothing, Christ is everything. Just be nothing, and fall back into the arms of Jesus. The only thing that works is Christ's works. Tell out the old, old story of the Crucified Creator. My master passion is Christ Himself. Henceforth we should not serve sin. Submission to the Scriptures. Christ for me. Jesus loved me, only because He loved me. Free Grace and Bleeding Love. Adoring fervent gratitude. New Birth, Imputed Righteousness, Precious Blood. Be ye reconciled to God. Behold the Lamb of God! Blessed be God. Believe God, Fear God, Live as He pleases. Thou God seest me! Unworthy sinners get everything for nothing at the Cross for Jesus' sake alone. Jesus is my Praise! God is never anything but good. Go to Heaven!

Christ is mine! God knows best. Death to Sin! We should not serve sin. Put on the new man. None of self, all of Christ. Cry to the Strong for strength. We see Jesus. Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His Righteousness – the Lord Jesus Christ. Keep close to Calvary. The Bible, the whole Bible, and nothing but the Bible.  A lie will go around the world while the truth is pulling its boots on. Short reckonings make long friends. We have done dinner; clear the things away, and now let us sit down and crack other men’s characters. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. All for Jesus. Hitherto, the Lord hath helped me. Honesty is the best policy. He is the greatest fool of all who is laughed out of his soul.

He that would go to Heaven alone, shall never go there at all. Man’s extremity is God’s opportunity. Always keep close to the word of God, your conscience, and Jesus Christ - glorify Him. Rest in the finished work of the Lord Jesus, fix all your reliance upon Him as crucified and risen from the dead. Everything for Jesus. Christ all and in all Christ. Bread enough and to spare. Whatsoever ye do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus. Aiming ever at His glory. Jesus only, only Jesus. He is altogether lovely, and I am altogether vanity. Looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith. Glory to God in the highest!

I must be about my Father’s business. Let God be magnified. The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life. In His favour is life. Trust in Christ and you shall have. Do something for Jesus. All for Jesus, always for Jesus, anywhere for Jesus. Giving thanks always for all things. Without money and without price. Justified freely by God's grace, through the redemption which is in Christ Jesus. Serve the Lord Christ. His servants ye are whom ye obey. Always point sinners to His redeeming Blood. The Lord Reigneth!

Giving Goodly Words (2)

Fear the Lord, depart from evil, play not with sin, seek God’s peace through the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God, and then with adoring gratitude, do good for His glory. Looking unto Jesus the Author and Finisher of our faith. Lay aside every weight. Run with patience. In honor preferring one another. Depart from iniquity, deny ungodliness, and worldly lusts. Live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Not seeking mine own profit. Blessed be the Lord. We look for the Savior. Deny yourself, never trust yourself. Wait for God’s Son from Heaven. Praise God, give thanks, do good, communicate.

Faith: Trust, reliance, dependence, confidence in Christ Jesus. Believe: Rely upon, to rest in, hang your soul on, lean upon Him, cast yourself upon Christ's Finished Work. No works, no preparations, no bettering yourself, simply come and trust Him now. Stop trusting yourself, put your trust entirely upon Jesus. Jesus saves us from sin for His glory. My soul’s only dependence is Him. Look to and trust in the righteousness, works, obedience, sacrifice, blood, resurrection of Another (Christ Jesus Himself). Saved solely by the merits of Another. O send out Thy light and Thy truth. Quicken Thou me, hold Thou me up, help Thou me, have mercy upon me. Be good, gracious, and grateful.

Always Remember Calvary, give glory to God, Christ is All. Trust only in Christ, keep to Him, live for Him. Let not sin reign in your mortal body.  Fighting the good fight - striving against my sins, through the Spirit mortifying the works of the flesh which war against the soul. Obedient, humble, teachable, childlike dependence. Remember the name of the LORD our God. Stay pure for Jesus’ sake. God for Christ’s sake hath forgiven you. Even as Christ forgave you, so also do ye. Temperate in all things. Live unto God. Jesus still saves real sinners. This world can never satisfy my immortal soul; Give me Christ, or else I die. Godliness, contentment, and pureness are great gain. Conscience, record, sin, death, judgment, wrath, hell, terror of the Lord, Eternity.  Jesus never fails.

I deserved Hell, but Jesus took all my Hell on the Cross, and now I’m going to Heaven freely through faith in His innocent Blood.  Be of sin the double cure, save from wrath, and make me pure. Men always look at life according to what they are. Grow in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  Simplicity, godly sincerity, godly edifying. Live godly in Christ Jesus. Serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear. Thou hast done it. Ask and have. Redemption, justification, sanctification. Men can see money and stuff, but they can't see the kingdom of God. Righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness, kindness, humbleness of mind, temperance. Continuing instant in prayer. Christ liveth in me. Be of honest report, full of the Holy Ghost and wisdom. Life is short, death is sure, sin the curse, Christ the cure.  Christ first, me last.

True wisdom from above is First Pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. Increase in the knowledge of God. Grow in grace. Walk in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Ghost. One thing is needful, personal dealings with Jesus Christ, communion with the Holy Ghost. I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee. God, thank you for your being so good to me. Who am I; Here am I; Lord, send me. Be fruitful in every good work. Remember and turn unto the LORD. Be filled with the fruits of righteousness. God loveth a cheerful giver. Willing and obedient, honest and good heart. Give thanks to His dear name. Hear the word, keep it with patience. But if the corn of wheat die, it bringeth forth much fruit. Think soberly, exercise thyself rather unto godliness. We should bring forth fruit unto God. Where is your faith? Have faith in God. Go and bring forth fruit.  What is your servant, that thou shouldest look upon such a dead dog as I am?

Let us have grace. Christ Jesus is All – stick to that – add nothing to it. The Lord is my portion. The more haste, the less speed. He does twice who does quickly. I will come again. Cease not to give thanks. No sweat, no sweet; no pain, no gain; no mill, no meal; no cross, no crown. Exalt the Lamb of God. Be ye thankful. The world for Jesus. Keep close to Jesus, and do as He did, in His Spirit. Spirit-led behavior for Jesus' sake. All for Jesus, and for Jesus only. With Christ anywhere, without Christ, nowhere. One volunteer is worth more than twenty pressed men. Remember the LORD. Keep thy heart with all diligence. New creatures have a new nature. It’s never too soon to pray, and it’s never too late to pray. Exhort one another daily. They run hard and fast whom the devil drives. The Great Physician cuts deeply, but He heals completely. Make Christ Himself your master passion.  Stay pure for Jesus’ sake.

Follow the Lamb whithersoever He goeth.  A little pot is soon hot. Prompt and sincere in the work of the Lord. There’s many a slip between tongue and lip. The tongue will always tattle on the condition of your heart. Don’t slander, demean, belittle, or insult others. Heart right, thoughts right, words right. Fresh confession, fresh repentance, fresh surrender, fresh yielding, fresh control, fresh victory. Remember the Savior. Sincere repentance, helpless dependence, Gospel humility. Pardon, Purity, Peace. The Holy Spirit's work – convincing, quickening, converting, regenerating, comforting, conforming, sanctifying, renewing. Humble, trustful confidence in Christ Jesus. Authenticity, humility, integrity, sensitivity. Humble adoring gratitude. Thankfulness, gratitude, generosity. Life is too short to waste it in sin and self. Be careful for nothing, prayerful for everything, thankful for anything.  The savour of the Savior. Give thanks at the remembrance of His holiness.

Abide in Christ. Knee-ology, not just theology. Piety and purity must begin within. While I live and breathe, I will boast and glory in the Lamb. With the King for His work.  Just be nothing, and let Jesus be everything. As the day lengthens, the cold strengthens. There's no good thing about you, and there's no bad thing about God. Love the Bible, read it, search it, study it, and do it. Thanks be unto God for His unspeakable gift. Good people are not always suspicious. Keep to the Savior’s heels. Abound in good works, but never trust them. Abhor your sins, and adore the Savior.

Without Jesus, ye can do nothing. O ye of little faith. Lord, increase our faith. There’s peace in believing. Beware of yourself. Love Christ, hate your sins. Salvation is all for nothing, or nothing at all. All I have is Him. The Father’s free grace, the Son’s atoning blood, and the Spirit’s quickening power. Trust and love Christ. Christ is everything, and I am nothing at all. Praise be to God. Laus Deo! Trust all your salvation with Christ. Only God’s smile gives peace. Lord Jesus, I need you; Holy Spirit please quicken me. Your sin can only be put away forever by God’s own blood - it flowed from Emmanuel's veins. Your sins can’t keep you from God, only your self-righteousness will keep you from God.

Giving Goodly Words (1)

Watch unto prayer. Redeem the Time by serving the Redeemer. Deal kindly and truly; speak honestly and gently. Seek the Lord's Purity, Peace, Power. Sin Never Satisfies, but Jesus does. Broken heart, contrite spirit, tremble at His word. Discretion, Deference, Discernment. Where prayer is fervent, God is present. God giveth the increase. Christ is All. Kiss Christ’s feet, crown His head. Nothing without God’s smile. Satisfied, satiated, content. The Cross of Christ is enough for me. His good pleasure and lovingkindness. Christ is everything, I am less than nothing, end of story. Thanks be unto God. Let Jesus stablish, strengthen, settle you. Memento Mori! Remember, you must die. Whatever God wants. Fear not, be not afraid. Be of good courage. Pray for the wind to blow. Ascribe ye greatness, righteousness, and strength to God. Know, reckon, yield, submit, give up. Effectual working of the Spirit. Ask (mercy), seek (His face), Knock (wisdom). Give me understanding.

Come after Me, deny yourself daily, take up your cross, follow Me. Enjoy God, Worship Christ, Walk in the Spirit, Joyfully give up everything. Be vigilant, sober, watchful. Good behaviour, live soberly, righteously, and godly in this present world. Propitiation through faith in His blood. Justification, sanctification, redemption. Pardon, purity, payment. Work of the Spirit, be strong in faith, giving glory to God. Safety, certainty, enjoyment. Even so, come, Lord Jesus. Quietly yield, calmly obey, sweetly resign to the divine will of God. Ever be with the Lord. Give up your sins. And let him that is athrist come. It’s all about Him. The best is yet to come. Glory to God alone! Use your time wisely. Faith – I need God, continual coming. Thy sins are forgiven. Provoke unto love and good works, Be rich in good works, Shew thyself a pattern of good works, Thoroughly furnished unto all good works, Learn to maintain good works, be zealous of good works. That I may know Him.

Striving Against Sin

Before a man is born again, his conflict is with Jesus Christ; but after a man is born again, his conflict is with his sins. Sin gives a sinner pleasure, but after the New Birth sin only brings him pain and misery. Do not harbor sins in your bosom. Will you have your sins and go on to Hell where you belong, or will you give them up, and trust Christ’s Blood, and go to Heaven? There is no other alternative. Part with your sins and be joined to Christ, or you will die and perish in your sins. At Christ’s feet, come and lay down your love of sin. Christ’s Gospel medicine, once swallowed, that is, received down into the heart, goes to work immediately within a man’s heart The Gospel medicine takes possession of the affections, delivers from the love of sin, and from sin’s power and condemnation. Men refuse Christ, and choose the pleasures of their sin. God is weighing your thoughts and intents and motives every moment. Popular opinion and worldly success is a vain show.

Gold, earthly honor, and degrees are dust to a dying man. Your sins must be abandoned, for Christ will never dwell in a heart that loves sin. Eternal damnation awaits the Christ rejecter - that is a fact. Men in their own conceits think they are better than others, and secretly trust in their own works. If you want Christ, you must let all that nonsense go. Living a life of sin is a life that is in opposition to Christ. If you're not doing right, you're doing wrong. Abhor the evil, empty pleasures of sin, fight against them. War against your sins, or they will kill you. Consistently pursue the Lord through scripture reading and prayer. Diligently pursue your spouse - love, protect, respect them. Don't let persistent and consistent patterns of sin remain in your life. Take the axe to root of your greatest idol - self. Take steps to fight against the besetting sin you are struggling with. Before you give in to a particular sin, remember the Lord's goodness, and your badness.

The Lord hears and sees your thought life. God’s all-seeing eye should be a check to your evil acts. The Holy Spirit convinces the sinner of his guilt, danger, inability, and causes the sinner to hear the voice of the Law and judgment, and leads the sinner to ask for mercy and pardon through Christ's Blood. Salvation by self is the natural man’s sole hope; salvation by your own doings, feelings, or something or other of your own, this is the favorite delusion of self-righteous sinners. The fear of the Lord gives a man a horror of his sin, a conflict with inward evil, a striving against his sin, a struggle against sin, and a longing for inward purity for Christ's sake. The mere imagination of sin is Sin. Nothing darkens the eye of the soul more than the love of sin. Unless a man lives and fellowships with God in secret, he forgets the inward life, and goes about cleaning the outside of the cup, but within he is remains full of filth and wickedness. You must first see to the inward, and you will fail to do so unless you seek to live near Christ.

Thank God for His simple Gospel. Christ Jesus is All; Jesus is God manifest in the flesh; He died for the ungodly, suffered for His enemies; He is the well-beloved Son of God, and the one Great Propitiation for human sin. Receive Christ Himself now into your innermost being and be at peace with God. The only reason you won't is because you are very fond of sin and a slave to it. You have no wish to escape from sin, you have become comfortable in your sin. Be wise - Never take sin lightly. Shrink away from impurity and moral pollution of any kind, be disgusted with the wretchedness of sin. Never coddle, embrace, defend, promote, cover, accommodate, or delight in sin. Follow after what is clean and pure and right in your thoughts, words, and actions. Guard your appetites. It is a great iniquity to rebel against a God so good, against a Law so just, against a Savior so merciful, against the Holy Spirit so longsuffering, against the Gospel so free. A divine pardon of sin bought by Blood is freely given to every sinner who believes in Jesus. A peace which leaves you still loving sin is a dangerous peace. Secret conflicts with sin will come; but secret fellowship with Christ is the only way to overcome secret sin. Sin pricks the very eyeballs of the human mind and blinds the soul of man. Repent of sin as against God, no longer toy with your sins. Self-righteousness is a deadly delusion. The common spiritual delusion of religionists is of like kind. They imagine they can, by an effort of their own, satisfy their conscience, appease God’s divine justice, help make themselves pure, and produce a righteousness acceptable to a holy God. But Remission is the cancelling of your sin by God freely for Jesus’ sake. The forgiveness of sins is absolutely free; Jesus paid the whole bill for you. Did you get that?

The Precious Blood of Christ saves you completely within as well as without. The burden of guilt, the bondage of evil habits, the slavery of sin, the alarm of conscience, and the dreading of the wrath to come can only be extinguished by the Blood of Jesus Christ. Sin will reign over you until Christ reigns over you. Stop loving sin, self, error, and worldly wealth, honor, and pleasure – your sins are way too strong to be subdued by you - trust yourself with Him who died upon the Cross for your sins. Come to Christ by confessing your sinfulness, and trusting His blood. Come with all your sins and leave your deadly load of sin at the Cross. Faith is the eye we see God with, and the hand we grasp Christ with. All men have evil hearts and are alienated from God, forget God, love sin, and dislike Christ. No man can make his own heart clean. Respectable lady or debauched wretch, all hearts must be changed the same way; it requires the work of the Spirit of God. Honest man or practiced thief – there is no difference; all men must be born again. Stripped naked before God, or clothed in the glorious and regal righteousness of Jesus Christ. The need of the Gospel is the same for every sinner in the world. The king and the pauper are both saved the same way. There is no difference as to the need of salvation. Man not only sins, but he loves to sin, and will not come to Christ. The intense love of sin comes from neglecting Christ for days, months, and years. The paths of sin are pleasant to the natural man. He loves both the way and wages of iniquity.

True faith and godly repentance weeps over sin. Gaze upon His wounds, and you will be wounded, feel your heart bleed on account of Him, and all that He endured on your behalf. A sight of Christ crucifies sin. A sight of His death will be the death of your love for sin. His stripes will cure you of your love for sin now, and your pursuit of sin in the future. You must be cured first of the desire to sin. Long to be sober, chaste, pure, truthful, honest, and gracious. Don’t be forgetful of God, hard-hearted toward Him. Ask God to give you a new heart and right spirit. Sin is the very essence of hell. The fire that is not quenched is a heart burning with iniquity; the worm is the conscience that shall torture the mind forever for its rebellion against God's love. You must be saved by Christ. Don’t excuse human sin. Jesus can make you happy, holy, and safe. Forsake your evil ways. If you keep your sins, you'll have go to Hell. Part company with your sins. Be divorced from sin, break off your sins. No man can serve two masters. You are either a servant of the Savior, or the servant of your sin. The wounds and blood of Jesus cure us of the love of sin. By nature every man loves sin. Your sins cost Christ His life’s blood. Sin cut Jesus Christ to the very soul, sin made Jesus bleed on Calvary. There is no cure for the love of sin like the blood of Christ. There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked who love their sins. Don't die in your natural state separated from the life of God. There can be no real peace where there is unpardoned sin. God is at war with you, and you are at war with Him. Give up your darling sins, fight against your inward evil, break off your filthy habits by Christ's Righteousness and Blood. When the love of God in Christ comes into your soul, you will no longer have a heart for sin.

No pardon means no purity, no purity means no peace. God has no peace with sin, and He never can have. Our nature must be changed; the love of sin must be killed in us by the blood of the Cross. Put your trust in Christ alone, He is worthy of all the trust of your heart. Have done with all other confidences, and with the love of sin, lay hold on eternal life. The love of God in Christ drives out the love of sin from our dark hearts. Every act of sin arises out of the absence and decline of the love of God. If you keep messing around, the terrible evil of sin will eventually damn you. Only the wounds of Jesus can cure your desperate love for sin. You must be saved from following after sin. The Law says to the blind man, See! To the lame man, Walk! But only the Gospel can enable you to See and Walk. There is an evil tendency in us all to disobey the Law of God. Jesus, the Divine Archer, shoots His arrows of conviction into the unbelieving, hard, sin-loving heart. Only the Gospel can save you from your old filthy habits of thought and word and deed. Men can only enjoy fellowship with God in proportion as they give up their love of sin. You cannot walk in love to Christ and still live in the love of sin. Strong temper, a forceful will, obstinate disposition, wayward habits must be forsaken. When the love of God is shed abroad in our heart, then the love of sin will take its flight, the love of sin dies, lusts and corruptions wither. The love of sin and the neglect of holiness go hand in hand. You think yourself too good for Christ.

Here's some good news - If you trust Christ, your sins shall not destroy you. Lean fully on Jesus, fling away your love for sin and the love for your self-righteousness. The reason for all opposition to Christ is the love of sin. Track it back to its den and lair and you will find every time that it is the love of sin that breeds hatred to Christ. Men do not see because they refuse to see. They don’t want to see too much, for that would make them uneasy in their present lost state. Men couldn’t tolerate God in human flesh when He was here on earth. Men kick against Christ, and try to put out the light of His gospel, lest they be reproved by it. Human wisdom and philosophy must go. Bats and moles can see better than lost sinners. Man wants to get away from God, because he wants to do wrong.

At the bottom of all infidelity there lies a love of sin. Men quarrel with the Gospel, because the Gospel quarrels with them. Pardon, change of heart, and Righteousness – Christ has it all for you. You can purged from the love of sin – Christ can do it. Wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption is all found in Christ. Only Christ Himself can satisfy your spiritual appetite. The Gospel explodes human traditions, opinions, superstitions, and cherished religious ceremonies and rituals. The Gospel will not let you live on comfortably in your sin. Fall on your face right now, and trust the blood of the Lamb. Rest in His atoning sacrifice. God will be merciful to any sinner who forsakes his own righteousness and receives Christ's Righteousness. Ask God for mercy through the blood of Jesus Christ. Trust now Christ’s sin-forgiving blood and His sin-forgetting grace.

The Important Questions of Life

What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? Do I have eternal life right now? Have I ever been delivered from the love of sin? What sin can I quit today for Jesus' sake? Are my sins forgiven through faith in The Lord Jesus Christ's shed blood? What can I do to glorify Christ with my body, heart, mind, and life? These are the important questions of life.

Fools make a mock at sin, that is, sin is a joke and fun to the reckless soul. Men try to hide the uneasiness within their heart, mind, and conscience by making light of sin, God, judgment, and hell. The goodness and blood of Jesus Christ is a protest to the lost man's evil condition. The bold brash speech of the Christ-rejecting atheist is merely an attempt to conceal the unrest of his heart within which he refuses to confess. In secret, Christ-less men love their sins. The way an atheist tries to extinguish their conscience proves that he is aware of his need. They prefer the momentary pleasures of sin to the blessedness of Eternity. An atheist will be damned in order maintain his dignity and pride.

Atheists will not come to Christ, they think they are good enough without Him. The sinful pleasures of today will be followed by a miserable Eternity. Atheists sell their soul for a little sin and amusement in this mad world. They think nothing of their never-dying soul. The atheist longs to indulge in his favorite sin or vice that will give his sinful heart a temporary pleasure. He chooses evil and forsakes the good. By nature, every man's sin is more dear to him than his own soul and eternal destiny, he doesn't want to part with his sins. The godless man feels the bitterness of his heart. Insane fools play with their sin and ruin their souls.

Lost men make light of their sin, love their sin, and neglect their Maker and Eternity. Only a madman would continue to mess around with sin after being made aware of his danger. You can never be happy at war with your Creator. It will never profit you to keep your sin and lose your soul. Without Christ, you are besotted with the love of Sin. Throw your pride and love for sin down at the feet of Jesus.

Be wise now - Trust, adore, worship and wait for the blessed Son of God, and He will make you pure within. When a man is satisfied with himself, he will want nothing of Christ. If a man can do everything for himself, he has no need for the Savior. The lost man’s ear is stopped up with the love of sin. How can you love sin and believe in Christ? The dislike and neglect of Christ is only caused by a love of sin. Men hug their sins, so they will not embrace the Savior. A man’s opposition to Christ and the Bible is only caused by his love for sin and self-righteousness. The atheist is madly in love with his sin. The Savior died because of your sins, how can you live any longer in your sin?

No man is this life is ever free from the commission of sin, yet every truly converted man is delivered from the love of sin. The prevalence of sin, toleration of sin, love of sin, the willful continuance in sin is condemning evidence that a sinner is still laden with guilt. The Holy Spirit renews men inwardly, taking away the love of sin, giving them new life, a new heart, and a right spirit. Inward longings and desires after Christ come from the New Birth. The blood of Christ and the work of the Holy Ghost must be applied to every man’s soul.

The Gospel Net delivers men from the life and love of sin. Walk uprightly, or you will walk crookedly. Give up all known secret sin. Don’t live according to your lusts. Give up your hopeless hope call self-righteousness. You cannot have your sins and heaven too. You must give up sin or give up hope. Quit your sinning today, go to the Cross for help. Feel the evil of sin which killed Jesus. Salvation from the punishment of sin, immediate redemption from the love of sin, conscious deliverance from the power of sin, growing salvation from the propensity to sin, ultimate salvation from the tendency to sin. If you want to kill the love of sin, live in the love of Christ. He who loves Christ, hates his sins.

The love of Jesus is sanctifying, it consumes sins. Desire for purity prevails over the love of sin. Those who refuse to give up their favorite sins will always pretend the Gospel is difficult to understand, impossible to accept, and excuse themselves for going on in their sins. The lover of sin will always throw the blame of his sin and unbelief upon his Maker. Godly Repentance turns a man inside out, and purges the innermost part of the soul, killing the love of sin within at the roots of the spirit. Jesus saves from the innermost to the uttermost. Our thoughts about sin are turned upside down at the foot of the Cross. Sin is sweet and profitable to the atheist, but bitter to the Christian. The true penitent will not enjoy his secret sin. You are, what you are alone. There is a deadly poison hidden under the sweetness of sin. The real penitent hates sin as sin, and turns from it with purpose of heart.

Beware of superficial repentance. God is not mocked, you just can't fool an Omnipresent, Omniscient Creator. Jesus must save you from the power and practice of sin. Take Jesus to be your complete salvation. Till sin is not loved, there can be no heaven for you. Sinful folks are always welcome at Christ’s Hospital. He heals and makes sinners whole. If you are sunken in your sin, Jesus can pull you out, call upon His name, He will rescue you. Your pretentious graces, fictitious attainments, empty boastings, and hollow pretences must all go.

True Repentance is a broom which sweeps the house of the soul from attic to basement. Every regenerated heart is anxious to be free from his sin. Sin’s power is felt within, we cry out against it, O wretched man that I am! We cannot bear sin, we groan to free from sin completely. Sin is a hateful and horrible thing. Sin must be evicted and divorced. Sin darkens the eye of the soul, and blinds the mental eye. Men cannot see truth, because they love sin and falsehood. Loose lives and lewd thoughts cannot understand the Gospel.

The Gospel is too pure for lovers of sin, too severe for the worldly man, too holy for lovers of carnal pleasure. Lovers of sin always tolerate laxity of morals. Sin pricks the eyeballs of the mind. How can ye believe which receive honor one of another? The love of worldly honor and gain and reputation doom the soul of man. Agnostics, doubters, and cavilers always procrastinate and make alibis for their sinful ways. A clear eye comes from a clear heart. The pure in heart shall see God; they see God’s Truth and Son with singleness of heart. The pardoned man is anxious about how he shall be kept from sinning against God in the future. The burnt child dreads the fire; they tremble even at the sight of a flame.

The two-edged sword of the Gospel cuts two ways – one edge hits the love of sin; the other edge hits the pride of self-righteousness. Unbelief, despair, love of sin, misery, despondency, and doubts are the results of the neglect of Christ. The Cross will make you hate the sins which crucified the Savior. Salvation is the escape from a life of sin, the love of sin, and the power of sin. There may be faults, falls, shortcomings, infirmities, but the old love of sin must go.

Sin shall not have dominion over you. If you are bound for holiness, you are bound for heaven. The love of Christ drives out the old habits, and sets us from sin which we have long indulged. The Cross changes the desire of our spirit. Have done with your sinful habits. You must be born again first. You will never find salvation while you are still longing and hankering for sin, and messing around with your old dirty ways. Fall on your face, Trust Christ's blood and grace.

What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? Have I ever been delivered from the love of sin? Where are my sins? What sin can I quit today for Jesus' sake? What can I do to glorify Christ with my body, mind, and life? These are the important questions of life.
