The Good News from Heaven

Life is so short, Death is very Sure, Sin the Curse, but Christ Jesus is the Cure. You have sinned against God's Law and His dear Son, your sins and guilt are very great. God is Just and must punish you, His eternal justice demands it. But God delights in mercy and the Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanses sinners from ALL SIN. Christ Jesus came into the world to seek and save lost sinners from the Lake of Fire. The man Christ Jesus died for wretched sinners, and you're a sinner for sure, so He died for you. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Christ died for the ungodly. Whosoever shall call upon the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved from the love and damning power of sin. Come unto Jesus, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and He will give you Rest. Christ died in your place to pay for every one of your sins against God; trust Him, and He will forgive you freely and fully. Every sinner must be saved by His Precious Blood. You were born wrong, ye must be born again of the Spirit of God, by Faith in Jesus' blood.

The way to Hell is very simple. All you have to do is neglect Christ's Great Salvation. “How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation.” But the Great Truth of Atonement and Substitution is also very simple. It is the Substitution of Christ in the place of the sinner; Christ being treated as if He were the sinner, and then the transgressor being treated as if he were the Righteous One. Substitution is simply a change of persons; Christ becomes Sin for the sinner and is punished (II Corinthians 5:21); Christ Jesus stands in the sinner’s place; He is numbered with the transgressors. Then the sinner by faith simply trusts in Christ's doings and dying and stands in His place, and the sinner instantly becomes the Righteousness of God in Christ, and accepted in the Beloved. Christ never had any sin of His own, but He took all human guilt upon Himself on Calvary's Cross, and was punished for all human sin, including yours. God the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world. In this was manifested the love of God toward sinners, because that God sent His only begotten Son into the world, that sinners might live through Him. Herein is Love, not that we loved God, but that He loved us, and sent His Son to be the Propitiation for our sins.

Here's the Old Gospel, The Good News from Heaven -- I am a sinner, Christ died in the sinner’s place; I trust Him, and I am freely saved at once. The Old Gospel of Substitution; Jesus stood in the sinner’s place and bore in the sinner’s stead what was due to the law of God on account of man’s sins. God’s plan of salvation excludes all of our works (Eph 2:9). God’s salvation comes to sinners by pure and free grace alone. It’s not the life we live, it is the sinless life that Jesus gave on Calvary for us. This is God’s way: We cannot be saved by our own obedience; we must be saved by Christ’s obedience alone. Jesus, the Son of God, came to earth, and appeared in human flesh, He lived a life of holy and perfect obedience to God’s laws. He was found in fashion as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the Cross. The Savior’s life and death make up a complete keeping of God’s law which we have broken and dishonored.

The One Good News is this, “God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto Himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them.” Christ crucified for sinners. Here is the Good News from God for Sinners: “I cannot bless you for your own sakes, but I will bless you for Jesus’ sake; looking at you, I must curse you, but I have laid your curse on Christ My Dear Son, and now, looking at you through Him, I can bless you and accept you though you deserve it not, I can now pass by your undeserving life, blot out your sins as a cloud, cast your iniquities into the depths of the sea through what Christ my dear Son has done. You have no merits, but Christ has divine goodness. Your are full of sin and must be punished, but Jesus was punished instead of you, and now I can deal with you in Mercy.”

This is the Heavenly Language of God in human words, “I can deal with you upon the terms of Mercy through the blood and merits of my Son.” The Gospel comes to you this way: if you believe and trust in Jesus, all His merits are your merits, they are freely imputed (transferred) to you; all the sufferings of Jesus are your sufferings. All of His merits are charged to your account freely. All your sins are charged and transferred to Jesus’ account. You stand before God as if you were Christ, because Christ stood before God as if He were you. Christ in your place, and you in His place. Substitution, that is the heavenly word! Christ is the Substitute for sinners. Christ suffered for sinful man and took the thunderbolts of God's divine wrath on all sin, Christ was made to be SIN for us. Sinful men that trust in Christ’s works stand in the sunlight of God’s divine favor and love.
