Here is the very simple Gospel Truth of CHRIST'S BLOOD ATONEMENT: God is terrible JUST, and can by no means spare the guilty sinners, but God's JUSTICE was wholly met by the LAMB OF GOD who was punished in your place.Your conscience tells you that God must punish you, and warns you with dreadful thoughts and fears of the wrath to come, and there is no resting-place for your guilty Soul but at the CROSS. The ATONEMENT is Christ offering up Himself for sinners, for the ungodly, for His enemies, so that they may be freely ransomed/redeemed/pardoned/saved/justified. The ATONEMENT is the Substitution of Christ Jesus in the place of the sinner; Christ bore our sins in His own body, and was treated as if He were the sinner, so that the transgressor who believes in JESUS can be treated as if he is RIGHTEOUS as Christ Himself. Christ's perfect divine Righteousness is cast about my Soul, and I am saved today and forever. Christ Jesus Himself finished the ATONEMENT for me, and He gave me His Perfectly Pure RIGHTEOUSNESS, and washed me my inward parts throughly with His own Precious Blood, and He took off His flawless Robe off and clothed my Soul; JESUS gave His life for me, so that I could live forever.
The ATONEMENT is two persons exchanging places: Christ becomes SIN on the CROSS; He dies in the sinner's place (I thirst! My God, My God why hast Thou forsaken Me?); JESUS was numbered with the transgressors. The Sinner who believes in JESUS becomes RIGHTEOUS; the Sinner stands in Christ's place and is MADE RIGHTEOUS; The Sinner is made RIGHTEOUS by faith in JESUS' PRECIOUS BLOOD, and by the FREE GRACE of God, the Sinner is numbered with the RIGHTEOUS for CHRIST'S sake. Christ bearing your sins and being punished for your sins instead of you: This is the ATONEMENT, the CROSS. God for Christ's sake forgives the Sinner freely. JEHOVAH in the very person of Christ Jesus bore your sins in His own human body, and can take away your sins if you only trust in His PRECIOUS BLOOD.
The Lord Jesus Christ had no sins of His own, but He took all human sin-guilt-condemnation-punishment upon Himself, and suffered/atoned for every human sin. I have no RIGHTEOUSNESS of my own, but I take/receive Christ's Divine RIGHTEOUSNESS, and now I am counted RIGHTEOUS/ACCEPTED in God's sight forever for JESUS's sake, as though Christ's RIGHTEOUSNESS had been mine all along.
Christ Jesus is my Surety, Substitute, Atonement, Justifier, Propitiation, Spotless Lamb of God, Daysman, Mediator, and Perfect Savior. My Soul is Justified Freely through JESUS' Blood and Grace. Christ died for the ungodly, so that He could take away my sins forever and Freely give me Eternal Life. Simply take God at His word, believe Christ Jesus is the Perfect Savior, receive Christ Himself sincerely into your heart. Willingly receive Christ Himself (JEHOVAH in human flesh) and His fulness (Precious Blood Atonement and Perfect Finished Righteousness) into your empty evil nature.
He that spared not His own Sin, but delivered HIM up for us all, how shall He not with HIM also FREELY give us all things? Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God's elect? It is God that JUSTIFIETH. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is RISEN AGAIN, Who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Have you been MADE RIGHTEOUS (Justified by JESUS' Precious Blood) by the power of the Gospel? Or are you trying to establish your own righteousness? Have you sincerely submitted to and received Christ's Perfect Finished RIGHTEOUSNESS? Will you be found in Christ, not having your own righteousness, which is of the law, but the RIGHTEOUSNESS which is through the Faith of Christ, the RIGHTEOUSNESS which is OF GOD by Faith in JESUS' PRECIOUS BLOOD? The only way to escape the judgment of God is to come to JESUS as a sinner, and receive His great Salvation freely.
Be Wise Now; Be assured of this: Nothing short of JESUS' Precious Blood will be of any use to your Soul now and at your latter end. Your sinful Soul needs all that Christ Himself can give you. Nothing short of Christ Himself can ever meet the desperate wants of your poor sinful Soul. Fix your Faith and Trust on JESUS' Precious Blood for real Peace and on His Precious Promises for cheer/confidence. Believe that Jesus Christ Himself is able to save you from your sins now; Trust your Soul in His hands now; Absolutely no preparations or self-improvements are needed from you before you come to JESUS; Every preparation from human nature is a lie and the way to hell; Whosoever will let him come to JESUS, the Water of Life; please come at once and take the Water of Life freely; Simply Trust Christ; Rest on Him; Take JESUS be your Soul's Salvation from Sin and Hell. Draw near to Christ Himself through Faith in His Blood Atonement.
JESUS IS ALIVE FOR EVERMORE; Steadily fix your gaze upon *HIM*, and on nothing else, and your Soul will LIVE and be Glad, for JESUS is a real living Person; There is nothing in you but SIN, and you deserve nothing but WRATH; Look out of your dark Self to Christ Jesus Only; Trust in JESUS Only with singleness, sincerity, and simplicity of heart; Never trust in any doings of your own, like your prayers, penance, fastings, tithings, giving of alms, dead works, most devout observances of days and ceremonies, moral reformations, water baptism, sacraments, punctual church goings, and the like; Fix your heart's eyes on JESUS, and on nothing else; Christ has Finished the Atonement; there's nothing more for you to do; Do not be a self-truster, be a Christ-Truster; Eternal Salvation is found only in a living PERSON, not in a place, or day, or ceremony; Ye must be born again by the Spirit of God, that is, Christ's Divine Nature must be implanted into your heart by nothing short of the Divine Power of the Holy Spirit Himself. Cast out your deadly doings, soul-deceiving feelings, carnal legal fears, and trust only Christ's perfect doings (Pure Spotless Righteousness); Fix your thoughts on Christ and His promises/words, not on yourself and your own feelings/doings; JESUS Only is the one object where your heart must be set; Have done with all your doings and trust in JESUS Only; Down with you, and UP WITH CHRIST; Simply trust JESUS who died for your sins and rose from the dead, and your Soul is saved on the spot, saved forever and ever; Put your heart's sincere trust in JESUS Only; Trust and Repose wholly and solely on JESUS THE *JUSTIFIER* now. Nothing short of the Crucified Creator's bloody death could ever satisfy/save your sinful Soul and give you REST and PEACE with God. Do not try to qualify yourself for Christ, the only qualification to come to Christ is your sinfulness; Count all your righteousnesses as DUNG, Flush them forever, or you'll have to face Everlasting Fire and Perdition for all Eternity. May the Holy Spirit Himself convince you of your sinfulness and emptiness, and lead you to come/look/trust to Christ Jesus Only for all your Salvation today. O God, Be Merciful to me a sinner; please save/justify my sinful Soul for JESUS' Sake. Christ Jesus Himself is my Soul's only Eternal Salvation; there is none else beside HIM; there is no JUST GOD AND SAVIOR for sinners beside JESUS.
