The Main Business

The Holy Bible is your only guide to real Salvation. Your mind is your soul's mouth. Your will is your soul's throat, and your heart is your soul's stomach. There is only one antidote for the poison of sin you have swallowed. Take it quickly, or you will surely die! The poison of Sin can only be neutralized by the Blood of Christ. You say, "No! I will have nothing to do with your Doctor and His Antidote for my sin." Well then, the coroner will soon come and haul your body away. Oh, pooh! I am too much of a common sense man to have anything to do with that. Your verdict will be "He destroyed himself." But in Me is thine help found (Hosea 13:9). There is help found only in Christ for the worst of sinners. Jesus is the Great Savior who is mighty to save to the uttermost, and He is able to put away all of your sins forever. Where are you, big sinner? little sinner? Jesus can put away 10 years or 70 years of sinning in a moment of time, by applying His Precious Blood to your soul. View Him bleeding on the Cross in agony so great. Simply breathe in the free air of the Gospel, or your soul will suffocate and die. Your main business is with Jesus Christ Himself, not with human merit, signs, or feelings. Rest all your soul's weight on Jesus' shed blood, repose only on His Finished Work.

Unregenerate sinners will admit and believe any teaching as long as it gives them the freedom to remain in their favorite sins without any sense or moral accountability to their Creator. Your chief business is to believe on the living Son of God. Your first business as a seeker of pardon and salvation is to believe on Jesus Christ, and trust your soul with the divine Savior. Believe the Faithful Promiser. See Jesus as your Savior, your All, and rest alone in Him for all your salvation. Christ is All. The lost sinner's main business is coming to Christ, seeking the personal Christ, fall down at His feet, confessing your sin, looking only to His wounds and blood for the forgiveness of sins, trusting and confiding in HIM. Don't try to wash your own hands before you come to Christ, nothing you can do can remove the deep stains of your sins against. You will only make your hands more filthy and guilty. Don't linger or delay; Lay hold on eternal life, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself, at once. Attend to the main business, be saved by faith in the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. Jesus' main business was to save us from our sins, He came to Earth to seek and save the lost and ungodly. Jesus came into the world to Bethlehem's manger, and afterwards to Calvary's Cross, with His one business in mind, that He might save sinners like You from Hell. The sinner's one business is to look only to Christ Jesus, and be saved on the spot. But today, they are so distracted with this, that, and the other.

Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world. The sinner's one business is to believe on Him, rely wholly on Him, and praise Him for His great goodness to you, trust the Lord fully. A real sinner's main business is to get to Jesus Himself immediately, and exercise personal faith in the personal Savior, to heartily and honestly trust in Christ's blood to take away your sins forever. Come to Calvary and see the Lamb of God dying for you. Come to His blood and be washed whiter than snow within. Your chief business is not to try to make yourself fit to come to Christ, but to simply come and trust Christ's finished work NOW just as your are - lost, filthy, and guilty.

This is the Christian's one business - first to make glad the heart of Christ, and then to tell sinners that sin will damn them, and that Christ alone can take away their sins - make this the one passion of your soul. Christ is All. Our one business is soul-winning, our one banner is the Cross, our one Leader is the Crucified Creator God. Our one business is to do our Father's will joyfully. "It is written." Follow Jesus and His infallible words. Our one business in life is to lead sinful men to believe in Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Ghost. One business is to cry, "Behold the Lamb of God!" Tell out the Gospel clearly. Bear witness to Christ, preach Christ Crucified. Sow the word of God in the mind of children, and teach everybody the simple truth that, Christ Jesus came into the world save sinners, and whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life. Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved. Your first business is to be a servant of Christ, and the saving of souls. Our main business is to enquire of the Lord, for He alone can give the increase. The Christian's great business is to glorify God. The main business is the Father's business - to tell sinners about the crucified and living Savior. Our main business is to speak out the Gospel simply and plainly to every creature.

Speak on God's behalf, adore and magnify the Lord. Our main business to edify and build up the church. Our one business is to deny self, and follow Christ. Our one business is to get men to look alone to Jesus Christ for free salvation, to heartily sow the Gospel and hold forth the word of life. Our main business is to bear witness with the Blood in the power of the Holy Spirit. Serve God by bearing one another's burdens. Christ is All. Humble service and a loving heart. Dealing with men's souls and telling them what they need to know about the Crucified Savior. Preach the Gospel to sinners: guilty - lost - undone wretches. Bring men by faith to Calvary where the one Great Sacrifice for sin was offered, where the Precious Blood of God was shed, where His perfect Righteousness was forever completed. Set forth and tell out the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ.
