I used to tell people to "Go to Hell!" before I was saved, but I know I tell everyone I can to "Go to Heaven!" By nature, men applaud sin and deny their merciful Creator, so they end up losing their soul in the lake of fire. What a crying shame! Men hate the Gospel, because it declares that human nature is rotten to the core, and that the only way out of Hell is through a bloody Cross where God Incarnate (JEHOVAH JESUS) died in their place. Sinners that go to heaven must become entirely dependent upon Christ and His bleeding love, and you can attribute nothing to your own salvation, but the sins you have committed.
The Blood of Jesus Christ, God's Son, cleanseth sinners from all sin (I John 1:7). Salvation is absolutely free to sinners, but very costly to God. You can only be put right with God through His tender mercy in Christ Jesus. Jesus is the Savior who bore the curse and shame of your sins on the Cross. God only saves hell-deserving sinners - Heaven is only for bad people. Only really bad people (sinners) that completely rely on the love and blood of God's Son can enter New Jerusalem.
Your moral character can never help save your soul, because your sin taints everything you do. You are only kept away from Christ by your own supposed goodness and rotten pride, not by your badness. How can God justify the ungodly? Well, Salvation is all of GRACE (Ephesians 2:8-9), all in CHRIST (I Timothy 1:15), all of FAITH (Romans 5:1), and all through GOD's BLOOD (Acts 20:28). God's grace is marvelous and miraculous. Would you be free from your sinful passions and human pride? There's wonder-working power in the shed blood of Jesus Christ. The blood of Christ must perform all your salvation, or you must perish. At the New Birth (John 3:7), the very life of God is implanted in a sinner that simply trusts in his Crucified Creator. The moment you honestly trust the living God - Jesus Christ, God counts all your sins to Christ's account, and then God counts Christ's Righteousness to your account. Through His lovingkindness, God imputes Christ's Righteousness to the sinner's soul through Christ's atoning Sacrifice.
Right now, Look away to what Christ has accomplished for your soul at Calvary, and your sins will be immediately imputed to Him, and Christ's Righteousness will be imputed to you freely, without any human merit being required. What a perfect redemption, the purchase of Christ's precious blood - the vilest offender that truly believes on Christ, that very moment from Jesus a free pardon receives. Trust the Lord Jesus Christ with your sinful soul, and give God all the glory for your free salvation from the love and penalty of sin. Rest not in your fleshy performances, but rest only on Christ Jesus' doing and dying and resurrection. Go to Heaven! John 14:6 - Seek Jesus now for the free forgiveness of all your sins.
