The Five Bleeding Wounds

God was manifest in the flesh in the person of Jesus of Nazareth, and suffered and bled to atone for human sin. *I Timothy 3:16* The Almighty God that created and sustains everything left His highest throne in glory and stooped to the manger of Bethlehem. The Highest stooped to be the lowest, the Greatest took His place among the least. The Lord of glory became a Jewish peasant. The King of Heaven became a poor man. *II Corinthians 8:9* He grew from boyhood up to manhood, He came forth into the world to preach and suffer for your sins! The Eternal God condescended to Earth, He was here in the form of man; God in human flesh walked the face of this Earth and lived in obscurity, poverty, humility and purity.

The man Christ Jesus lived a sinless life of perfect virtue and of total self-denying love. He came into the world to seek and save lost sinners from the wrath of God and the love of sin. He was all His life afflicted, despised, and rejected of men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. His enemies were many; His friends were few, and those few friends were faithless and fickle. Jesus was at last betrayed and delivered over into the hands of wicked men that hated Him without a cause.

The Lord Jesus was arrested while in the act of prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane; see Him in the garden praying, He sweat great drops of blood especially for you! The great multitude with swords and staves and Judas came and seized Him in the garden as though He had been a thief, and they took Him away to the high priest and then to Pilate’s judgment hall. He was arraigned before both the religious and civil courts. He endured mockery, shame, and the cruel crowning of thorns in Pilate’s judgment hall for your sins.

The Lord of glory was set upon a mock throne in scorn by the Roman soldiers, given a reed for a scepter, robed in purple in mockery and shame, and then stripped naked and tied to a whipping post and scourged in cruelty. His shoulders and back ran with blood! The stripes due to your sins were laid upon Christ's back. The cruel soldiers spit upon Him and plucked out His beard and hair. Jesus suffered the punishment that your sins deserve. He was declared innocent by Pontius Pilate, yet Pilate still delivered Jesus to the mob’s will and had Him led away to be crucified. See in Christ your sins being punished.

Then at the very end, Christ was hounded through Jerusalem’s streets; the path to Calvary’s Cross was sprinkled with the Blood of God. *Acts 20:28* He was brought to Golgotha’s hill; they flung Him down upon His back upon the Cross, and drove the cruel nails through His blessed hands and feet; then they lifted up the Cross and dashed it into its socket in the earth and all His bones were dislocated. He hangs there in agony as the blazing sun burns Him. His cruel wounds increase His fever.

The Christ of God became Sin, and God the Father forsakes Him. He cries out, “My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me?” While He hangs there in conflict with sin and Satan, His heart is broken, and His limbs are dislocated. Heaven forsakes Him; the sun is veiled in darkness. Mankind forsakes Him, for “His disciples forsook Him and fled.” He looks everywhere, and there is none to help; He casts His eye around, and there is no man that would share His sorrow. Your sins made Jesus bleed. Where Christ is loved, sin is hated.

On and on, Christ hangs there on the Cross for six hours, steadily determined to drink the last dreg of the cup of the wrath of Almighty God for you. He hung there in agony and blood. His face is full of anguish. Consider the tortured Sinless Savior. Your sins were all gathered together in one mighty load and placed upon the shoulders of the great Sin-Bearer. The sin load of the whole world was laid on Christ *I John 2:2*; it bruised Him sore and crushed Him down. On the bloody tree behold Him in His death struggles! The Friend of Sinners is suffering there for you.

Behold the Crucified Redeemer! See Him dying in agony too great to be imagined, much less to be described! God was in Christ as He died upon the accursed tree. *II Corinthians 5:19* He endured the vinegar, the nails, and the spear all alone. *Hebrews 7:27* His heart was bursting with agony under the load of sin. Hear the cries of Jesus from the Cross: “Father forgive them, for they know not what they do! -- My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken Me! -- I thirst!” At last He cries — “It is finished!” and He gave up the ghost. Jesus didn't say "I am finished." He cried "It is finished!" The punishment due to my sins fell on Christ, He finished the Atonement for to my sins. *Romans 5:10*

Behold His torn and broken body being taken down from the Cross and then laid in the silent tomb! But three days later He burst the bonds of darkness and tore the bars of death away, rising from the dead, and then forty days later He ascended up on high and sat down at the right hand of God. Dear friend, the Savior is set before you now, plainly manifested: See His five bleeding wounds, His pierced side, the bloody stripes, the accursed Cross, and His passionate love for rebellious sinners. *Hebrews 9:14*

Be honest: You’ve been a selfish sinner your whole life against God's laws as well as His love; you’ve been a rebel against the five wounds of Jesus and the Ten Commandments of God. Look to Jesus’ five wounds flowing with God’s blood. *Colossians 1:14-16* Only look there sinner! In Christ’s five bleeding wounds is the sin-melting power which is not to be found anywhere else in this world. Only His wounds can quiet your conscience and melt your sin-hardened heart. Christ's divine blood is the only antidote for the venom of sin flowing through your soul.

You cannot truly believe that Christ suffered for your sins, and then continue on in your sinful and lustful habits. Fix your blind eyes on the Lamb of God bearing your sins in His own body on the tree. If you look to Him in faith, you will live forever. Whoever you may be, though you may be the worst sinner this side of hell, yet Jesus is mighty to save the worst of the worst. The blood of God can save the most devilish sinner alive. Where sin is bitter, Christ is sweet, only then.

Look to Jesus’ wounds, look there now and live. Play not the fool with your immortal soul, look to the dying Savior, and gaze upon His bleeding wounds, pierced side, mangled body, and marred face. His face all soaked with bloody sweat. His five bleeding wounds are the founts of eternal pardon. You need God’s pardon by blood and free redeeming grace. Free grace flows from Christ’s hands, rich mercy streams from His feet, dying love pours from His pierced side. Look steadily and intently upon Him with all your heart. Look fixedly on the Sin-Bearing Lamb of God. Only His sin-atoning death can put away your sin’s guilt. View the Bleeding Savior and hate your sins.

Give yourself up to Christ Jesus Himself. Rely upon Him alone for eternal salvation. Fix your faith only on Christ's shed blood. One sight of the five wounds of Christ and your sins are covered and your iniquities are put away forever. Come and view the flowing of Christ’s soul-redeeming blood. Behold how He loved you! Faith in His five wounds is the only thing that will kill your sins and lustful, unclean habits. His five wounds are still pleading for your soul. Only the love of a dying Savior and His bleeding wounds can save a real sinner. Christ died for the ungodly, not the good and respectable.

Poor sinner, delay no longer. Come to the foot of the Cross, look up to His five bleeding wounds flowing for your sins, see the fountains of pardoning grace. You’re not asked to do anything or to be anything, or to feel anything, but you’re simply asked to look away from your sin and self to what Christ has done, and you shall have eternal life as a free gift. Turn and look you to Christ and live, believe on Him and thou shalt be saved, you shall never perish trusting only in His Blood, Jesus Christ the living Substitute is still able and willing to save the vilest of the vile.

Look to Jesus now alone for free and full salvation. Trust your soul in the living Savior's hands, and you are saved. The moment you trust Jesus Christ you’re saved and your sins are gone; you’re saved on the spot, saved for all Eternity. Turn from and forsake your self-righteousness and that deadly love you have for your sins, and simply Trust in the Crucified and Risen Creator! Plead His Pardoning Blood and Justifying Grace! Ask God for His Free Mercy and Royal Pardon By Precious Blood. *Soli Autem Crucis*

Beware - A Bible Word

Here are some things that the Holy Scriptures tell us to Beware of:

** Beware of forgetting the Lord Jesus Christ and His words. Then beware lest thou forget the Lord, which brought thee forth out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage. Beware that thou forget not the Lord thy God, in not keeping His commandments, and His judgments, and His statutes, which I command thee this day (Deut 6:12; 8:11).

** Beware of following the thoughts of your wicked heart. Beware that there be not a thought in thy wicked heart, saying, The seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and thine eye be evil against thy poor brother, and thou givest him nought; and he cry unto the Lord against thee, and it be sin unto thee (Deut 15:9).

** Beware of false prophets that dress up in religious garb and have flowery words and a greedy heart. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep's clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves (Matt 7:15).

** Beware of men in general, men cannot be trusted, only the Good Creator is faithful and worthy to be trusted. But beware of men: for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues (Matt 10:17).

** Beware of man-made religion that stresses on human merit and not Christ's merit. Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees (Matt 16:6). How is it that ye do not understand that I spake it not to you concerning bread, that ye should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees? Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees (Matt 16:11-12). And Jesus charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod (Mark 8:15).

** Beware of religious hypocrisy that stresses on the outward and not on the inward. Human religion wants to dupe you and lead you over the cliff of Eternity into the Lake of Fire. In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, Jesus began to say unto His disciples FIRST OF ALL, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy (Luke 12:1).

** Beware of not being content and always wanting more and more. And Jesus said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth (Luke 12:15).

** Beware of super-religious conviction-ites that stress much on what you should wear. These types of folks think that garb gives them more grace. They want to appear to be something, when they are NOTHING. And Jesus said unto them in His doctrine, Beware of the scribes, which love to go in long clothing, and love salutations in the marketplaces, (Mark 12:38). Beware of the scribes, which desire to walk in long robes, and love greetings in the markets, and the highest seats in the synagogues, and the chief rooms at feast (Luke 20:46).

** Beware of despising free salvation through simple faith in the Precious Blood and Perfect Righteousness of Jesus Christ, or you will perish in your sins. Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets; Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which ye shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you (Acts 13:40-41).

** Beware of religious dogs that will lick your hand one day, and then bite you the next. Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision (Philippians 3:2).

** Beware of following after the teachings and philosophies of this world (Yes we can!), they are nothing but the empty trickery of Satan. The tradition of men will lead you down to hell, and the rudiments (root principles) of this world are only Christ-rejecting, Bible-hating principles that exalt man and forget God. Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ (Colossians 2:8).

** Beware of being led away from the simplicity of the Gospel, and into errors concerning the grace of God, the word of God, and the finished work of Jesus Christ. In a nutshell - Fear and please God, adore Jesus Christ, abhor your sins, don't grieve the Spirit. Ye therefore, beloved, seeing ye know these things before, beware lest ye also, being led away with the error of the wicked, fall from your own stedfastness (II Peter 3:17).

Beware of trusting another gospel. Here is the True Gospel - Jesus Christ Himself is the only way to God. Your sin and rebellion have cut you off from God. You are lost in your sins and unbelief, and estranged from God. Only the Blood of Christ can reconcile your lost soul back to the living God. The living Lord Jesus Christ is personally the Way to God. Jesus is the God who became flesh; He perfectly obeyed the Law of God, and then offered Himself up as a Blood Sacrifice for our sins on Calvary, and rose again from the dead, ascended into heaven, and is now exalted above all in Heaven.

You must repent of your sins and selfishness, and trust Christ's Finished Work personally. You must know Jesus Christ personally before you die. Jesus is the only Way to God. This is an exclusive claim made by Jesus Himself in John 14:6. Read it for yourself. Jesus is not one way to God, or a way to God; He is the Only Way to God there will ever be. If you say otherwise, you contradict Jesus Christ and make Him out to be a liar. God the Savior will have all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; who gave Himself to be a Ransom for all.

God Incarnate's Precious Blood

The central truth of Christianity is "God Incarnate's Precious Blood."  That is a phrase that you will rarely hear in Christendom today.  Christendom in 2013 is all about religious psychology, self-righteous personal convictions, social issues, marriage counseling, and motivational speaking, not the Gospel of the Grace of God.  God Incarnate (Incarnation) - Precious Blood (Substitution).

Religionists will not tell you what you are about to read, because if they did, they would be slap out of business ($$$).  Religionists will never simplify the Gospel, because if they did, they couldn't con a buck off a sucker anymore.  Religion deals with the symptoms of sin, and not with sin itself.  Jesus simplified the Gospel, and it cost Him His life.  *Luke 22:2* The Pharisees hated Jesus when he started affecting their attendance numbers and pocket book. *John 7:1-7*

Today's religious world does not want to hear this:  Your sins are a deadly and damning thing.  Your heart is selfish and sinful.  By nature, there is no good in you; you are inwardly full of sin; and God's Holiness is at enmity with your sins, for your sins are the works of the devil.  The vileness of your sinful heart can only be washed out by the Lamb of God's most Precious Blood.  If you continue to reject Christ and follow the evil devices of your own heart, you will bring upon your soul inevitable destruction.

Turn your eye of faith now to the true God and Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.  You commit the greatest sin by trying to help God out with your Salvation.  Your greatest wickedness is your self-righteousness that tends to make you think you can please the divine justice of God with your own human morality or goodness.  Always remember, a sinner is not moral or good at all.  You have an urgent need of a Salvation by the Blood and Righteousness of Another.

Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners from the love of sin and the wrath of God.  Trust to God's promises from the Scriptures, take Him at His word, repent of your self-righteousness, cast your guilt soul upon the Christ's Blood and Righteousness.  I have no trust but the finished cross-work of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The Holy Spirit must first revive sin within you, that is, show you the horror of your guilt and the heinousness of your sins against God, and then bless you with the agony of mind and conscience that will lead you to repentance, and persuade you to give up your self-righteousness altogether, and to rely only on Christ's Atoning Blood.

If a man thinks he can go to Heaven partly by his good works and religiousness, let him try to do so, but he'll go to Hell trying.  One of two things, either you must be saved without deserving to be saved - saved by the sinless works and blood of Another - or else you must keep the whole Law flawlessly, and inherit Eternal Life in your own merit and way.  The two main reasons a man goes to Hell is he thinks he is good enough to get saved without Jesus Christ, or a man thinks that he can add to Christ's Righteousness with his own efforts.  The Holy Ghost must make you sense your guilt, thirst, inability, danger, and the need of forgiveness through the merits of Another.  Now understand - You cannot escape your sin debt and guilt by any works of your own.  The only escape from the divine justice your sins deserve is faith in Immanuel's Precious Blood.

All I can do is point you to the living Christ, and invite you to trust to His Blood alone for all your Salvation.  Simply rely on the Incarnate God's Atoning Blood and His Justifying Righteousness.  There is absolutely nothing in you that can help save you from the divine justice that your sins deserve.   You cannot help yourself when it comes to your sins, for you have no righteousness of your own at all.  You must take Christ, or die in your sins and perish.  The Holy Spirit must slowly hem you up into a corner where there is only one way of escape, that is, the Blood and Righteousness of Another, Jesus Christ.

Be wise now - confess your guiltiness, humbly seek for pardon down low at the feet of Jesus, and simply trust to the Precious Blood of the Lamb of God.  Are you relying wholly upon the Precious Blood?  Have you had your sins freely pardoned through the shed Blood of God manifest in the flesh?  Have you received the free forgiveness of sins through Jesus' mercy alone?  Are you glorying only in Christ's Atoning Sacrifice?  Is the Cross (Christ's Blood Atonement for human sin) your soul's only hope and refuge?  Is your faith fixed only on the Precious Blood?

Look now only to God's Free Grace, Precious Blood, and Infinite Mercy through Christ Jesus. Are you experiencing an inward struggle and conflict with your sins?  This is one of the first true evidences of the New Birth.  *John 3:7; I Peter 1:23; Romans 7:23* The Precious Blood will work in you a hatred and detestation of all sins.  Is your inward evil and corruption warring against you daily?  Inward evil can only be overcome through the power of His Precious Blood.  Place your faith and trust in the Precious Blood and on nothing else. The pivotal fact of the Gospel is that God manifest in the flesh suffered, bled and died to satisfy the divine justice that was due to your sins.  My hope is fixed on nothing less than Jesus' Blood and Righteousness.  Per Fidem in Sanguine Tatum!

Believe God's promises, plead His mercy, rely on His Son, confide in His Precious Blood.  Jesus must save your soul by His Finished Work, that is, His Blood and Righteousness which God has accepted on your behalf, not at all by your doing or feeling.  Whosoever shall believe on the Lord Jesus Christ shall be rescued from the love of sin.  Christ Jesus has been punished for my sins; I am now clothed in Christ's Righteousness, and I stand accepted eternally in the Beloved.  Only the Holy Spirit can lead you to a personal interest and trust in the Precious Blood of God Incarnate (Christ Crucified).  Your soul has two eyes, and the eyes of faith and obedience must both be wholly fixed on Christ Jesus Himself.  Take care that your faith remains simple and fixed solely on God Incarnate's Precious Blood. Iesum Christum in Carne Deus Omnipotens!

The Pure Gospel 1

This is the Pure Gospel - Nothing added, nothing removed.  Sinner friend, you are guilty, you can never be anything else but guilty in and of yourself.  God is Just and Holy, and all sin must be punished, that is clear.  The guilt and punishment of sin is great.  The opposite of "I" is Christ.  Human nature, the evil carnal mind, does not feel good about God at all. Any sin we commit deserves Death, Punishment, Judgment, and Hell.  Your soul needs to be saved from the eternal wrath of God that will come upon your sins.  Your past sins and secrets haunt your memory from time to time.  The fear of coming Divine Justice and eternal punishment disturbs your mind at times.  The distressing fear of Divine Vengeance troubles your conscience.

Here are the first workings of the Holy Spirit in a sinner's soul:  He reproves of sin, He convinces of sin, awakens us to our guilt by using the Law; He brings men to despair of Salvation by their own righteousness, and then He reveals Christ's love and blood to the sinner.  The sinner must first be brought low by the workings of the Law in order to sense their guilt, misery, inability and danger.   The second working of the Holy Spirit is to woo, lead, direct the awakened soul to Christ, and to speak the Good News of free forgiveness and eternal life to the guilty soul through faith in the Blood of God manifest in the flesh.  The Holy Spirit draws the sinner to Christ and tells him to Behold the Lamb of God!

If your sins are to be forgiven, it must be through an act of the free grace of God, and not because of anything in you, or that can be done by you.  The good Grace of God can only be bestowed upon you, because Christ Jesus bled and died to satisfy Divine Justice for you.  You cannot be saved for any other reason.  God of His free Grace, gratis and for nothing, will only freely forgive all your sins debts for Jesus' sake.  Salvation from sin by human merit is an impossibility.  We were all ruined by Adam's fall, and now we all need the Righteousness of Christ, and the Regeneration of the Holy Ghost.

A lost man sins just for sinning's sake; he spends his time, money and energy to enjoy his sinning.  Jesus wants to save you from love of evil.  Give up your secret sins; come out from the love of sin; stop walking after your own lusts; in sincerity of heart quit the sins you confess; depart from the evil which crucified the Lord of glory;

The only way by which you can have access to God's Grace is by simply trusting Christ Jesus Himself.  If you trust in your own righteousness in any degree, that will absolutely shuts you out form all hope of Salvation by God's Grace.  All trust but that which is found in Jesus' Precious Blood is a falsehood.  Self-righteousness is a deadly and destructive delusion of human nature.  Human merit and Heavenly Mercy can never mix together.  Fix your entire reliance upon the Great Substitute who loves you and gave Himself especially for you.  The Lord Jesus Christ bore your sins in His own body, and divine justice smote that sin on Jesus Christ, and now God can spare the sinner.  An Atonement is only needed where there is sin and guilt.  The Son of God Himself is the Atonement for human guilt.  Your heart needs renewing by the Holy Spirit, and your sins need removing by Christ's Atonement.

Christ Jesus, God Incarnate, has made the only Atonement for your sins that can ever be made.  God in the person of Jesus Christ hung upon a Cross and died and bloody and shameful death because of your sins.  Simply accept and trust to what Jesus has done for sinners, trust alone to that.  Christ's Finished Work will bring you perfect Reconciliation with God, and conscious fellowship with Him.  Salvation by Christ Jesus, regeneration by the Holy Ghost, eternal acceptance with God.  Man wants to trust creature righteousness and not His Creator's Righteousness - the Lord Jesus Christ.

Here's an important question - How can I be saved from divine justice?  Tell me the old, old story of Jesus and His forgiving love.  The Good News about Jesus the Savior of sinners.  Christ is only able to save the guilty.  Look to Jesus' Precious Blood by simple faith.  Turn your eye to Calvary's Cross - see there the Victim of Divine Justice suffering for your transgressions in your place.

My sin has been laid upon Christ, He has completely bore the actual penalty due to human sin.  Christ's Righteousness is accounted mine through Faith in His Blood.  Christ took my sins upon Him, though in Him was no sin of His own.  He died for my sins, bearing the penalty for them.  The Ransom price for all my trespasses has been fully paid, I am set free from the Law and the Curse.  Jesus suffered all the terrible consequences of my sins.  My whole nature requires a radical change through the Holy Spirit.  What Christ did is now mine, and what I have done is now laid on Christ; His Righteousness is mine, and my sins are His.  The Law says be Perfect or be punished, but Grace says Jesus had done all for me, and now out of Gratitude to His great love for me, I thank and love Him.

Christ Jesus suffered it All in my place, God's divine wrath fell on Jesus as He was nailed to Calvary's Cross.  The penalty of Divine Justice was endured by the Lord Jesus Christ, so I could be forgiven freely and fully.  Christ bought my Pardon, I have no cure to fear the punishment of my sins.  I am cleared from all danger of any penalty resulting from my sins.  My sins and their penalty is gone forever because of Jesus' Atoning Sacrifice.  Jesus the God-man offered the complete Propitiation for my guilt. I'm only a sinner saved by Blood.

The Salvation of Jesus Christ is a salvation from the guilt, penalty, foulness, and degradation of Sin. If you come to Christ, you will come away from your sins.  The fear of the LORD is a departure from evil.  Repentance turns us from Sin, and Faith turns us to Christ.  The atoning bloody death of Christ is the great sin-killer.  Rest your guilty soul upon the merits of Jesus' doing and the virtue of His Blood.  Hunger after peace with God through the Blood of Jesus Christ.  Knock at Christ's for the living bread as a poor starving suppliant.

God the Father sent His only begotten Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, into this dark world, and Jesus took upon Himself the sin of guilty mankind.  The Creator God took upon Himself human flesh in the person of Jesus of Nazareth.  He suffered in the place of the guilty, and now whosoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have Everlasting Life.  To believe is to trust, so trust your your sinful soul entirely in the hands of the Incarnate God.  The Cross was the execution of the righteous Judgment of God on Jesus Christ to pay for human sin.

Without Christ as your Savior, you will have to answer for all your own sins all by yourself, and bear your own punishment for all Eternity.  Every transgression of God's Law must be followed by punishment.  We should endure the punishment resulting from our disobedience.Your sins shall inevitably bring punishment upon you - you need a Substitute.  There is a Judge of all the Earth who must do Right.   Fear not just the punishment to come on sin, but Sin itself.  Seek the Holy Ghost to help you to strive against your sins.

Not your merits, not anything in you, but only this - Christ died for me; He loved me and gave Himself for me.  Come now to Jesus, cast yourself on Him, none of your self-righteousness or self-improvement is required.  Religiousness can never pay one penny of your sin debt. Human goodness can never help atone for any sin you have committed.  You have His Great Atonement to satisfy Divine Justice for you.  Confess your guiltiness, ask for Mercy, seek for Forgiveness, knock for Grace through the person and blood of the Lord Jesus Christ.  The compassionate Savior will heed the sinner's cry.  After you are born again, you become Christ's property, His Blood purchases all of you, and you should live at His disposal.  True liberty is liking and doing what pleases God.  *II Corinthians 3:17*  Go and Serve Jesus with contagious joy.

Lust - Sin - Death - Guilt - Substitution - Punishment - Divine Justice Satisfied - Atonement - Hearing - Repentance - Faith - Forgiveness - Eternal Life - Gratitude.

Your Sins, Your Soul 5

Leave your soul confidently in the hands of the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh.  The life of God must be infused into your soul by the Holy Spirit by faith in Christ Jesus' Precious Blood.  Give earnest heed to the Gospel.  Your soul's salvation is of extreme importance.  Play not with your immortal soul, don't be careless and thoughtless concerning the realities of Eternity.  Seek Christ Jesus and trust to His Atoning Blood from your inmost heart and soul.  Human nature attempts in its own strength to achieve divine results.  Childlike helpless dependence upon Jesus Himself is key.  You are doing your soul serious mischief by neglecting Christ.  A simple trust in Jesus' Blood will secure for you a happy and safe immortality.  Trust to the Son of God, the Great Sin Forgiver. *Luke 5:23-24*

Your soul shall outlast the stars.  Be not rebellious, don't die in your sins and try to face God in your own righteousness.  You need God's Righteousness, the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.  *Romans 10:3-4*  Stop ignoring and slighting Jesus Christ.  You need Salvation (divine deliverance) from the love of sin here in time and from Hell Fire out in Eternity.  By nature, you are shut up in the iron cage of sin, and only Christ can set you free from that cage.  This should be the sole object of your soul.  Make the crucified and risen Savior your soul's Restingplace.  Only the Blood of Christ can exterminate the sins in your life.  Sin can only be put away by an act of God's divine grace.  If you will trust to Christ's Blood alone, you are saved.  You can only be forgiven for Christ's sake.

When you trust to Christ's Finished Work, nothing can be laid to your soul's charge, and you are eternally forgiven.  Before God, your sins are laid on and punished on Christ, and your soul is eternally clear in the sight of God.  You are accepted before God for Christ's sake.  Your soul is made nigh by the Blood of Christ.  Nothing else but Jesus' Blood can end your guilt.  Leave all your sins with Jesus.  There is no Savior for your soul but the Lamb of God.  Come now, let us reason together, saith the LORD.  The divine Law is satisfied by Christ's Cross-Work.  Your sins are not too great for God's mercy.  Without Christ's Atoning Blood, your sins are unpardonable.

Either Christ must bear your sins for you, or your soul must bear them forever.  If you are troubled about your sins, come now to the Cross by faith.  Be done with all ideas of helping save your soul from sin.  Be willing to let Jesus have all the glory for putting your sins away.  Give up confidence in everything but Jesus Christ Himself.  Rely heartily upon Christ's Blood and Righteousness.  Run to the Savior for His Mercy now. Your sinful nature has polluted any so-called good deeds you have done in the past; there is absolutely no real Good in any of us, for we are all sinners.  There is none good but one, that is, God.  The Gospel is very humbling and the strait gate is not high enough for your head, and human nature doesn't like stooping.  Human nature doesn't like bowing before the Savior.  Fold the flag of sin.

Lean not upon thine own understanding.  Human nature wants freedom from Christ, and a wisdom apart from God.  The Wisdom from above is first pure.  Human nature remains unfulfilled and always searching, hopeless for it seeks not the Hope, Christ Jesus.  The carnal mind is ever learning but never able to come to the knowledge of the Truth.  Never trust your heart, for it will deceive you. *Jeremiah 17:9* You can't go wrong trusting the Lord Jesus Christ, God manifest in the flesh, with your immortal soul.

No Trespassing!

As you drive down the road in the country, every once in a while, you will see a "No Trespassing" sign.  These signs are posted by landowners to warn people to stay off their property.  God's Ten Commandments are the spiritual "No Trespassing" signs that our Creator has posted to keep us safe and out of harm's way; and His Commandments are not grievous.

A trespass is an offense that injures another; trespass means to pass beyond, to cross a boundary line unlawfully; to intentionally violate any divine law or command; to intrude into a forbidden area, to go too far.  A trespass is any intentional violation of the moral Law.  Have you ever trespassed against God or man?  If so, you need a Savior, a Rescuer from the wrath to come on sin.

We have all committed felony trespassing in the sight of God.  The Bible calls us sinners, that is the same as calling us lawbreakers or criminals in the sight of God.  We're in trouble with the Law, that is, the Law of God.  If you violate a state or federal law, then the state or federal justice system will pursue you until you are convicted and pay for that crime.  When you violate divine Laws, then Divine Justice pursues you like a fugitive until you surrender to God at the Cross, where our trespasses are forgiven freely for Jesus' sake.

Until you surrender to the Lord Jesus Christ, you remain under divine condemnation and the curse of guilt, because the Laws of God have been broken by your soul.  Every sin you commit against God and man is immoral and illegal. *Matthew 6:14-15*  Until you have been Born Again, you remain dead in your trespasses and sins.  *Ephesians 2:1*  All of your trespasses must be forgiven, and forgiveness is not done by piecemeal; forgiveness is done all at once. *Colossians 2:13* Jesus laid down His own life and shed His atoning blood to pay for and forgive your trespasses against God. *II Corinthians 5:19*

You are a sinner (criminal, crook, culprit) in the sight of God. Your life is like a crooked piece of wire, and only God can straighten you out.  Your trespasses have directly attacked and offended the person of God; they have disrespected God, and crossed the moral line He has established, and you deserve to be punished.  When you begin to ponder sin in your heart, you are already guilty of sin.  Now understand - even the thought of foolishness is sin. *Proverbs 24:9* It is not just our outward actions that God sees and judges, but it is our inward thoughts and intents; again, God judges what goes on inside of your heart and mind. *Matthew 5:28* Most of all, your soul needs the Lord Jesus Christ Himself.

A man will always tell you what he hasn't done, but never what he wanted to do.  You have crossed the Line. *Ezra 9:15* You cannot defend yourself before God, and you cannot plead ignorance of the divine commands.  The sign says, "No Trespassing", but you walk right by it.  You saw the "No Trespassing" sign, but you intentionally climbed over the fence, and neglected the clear warnings of Scripture.  Human nature takes no notice of what God says.  The lost man goeth on still in his trespasses. *Psalm 68:21*  The carnal mind does not want God to interrupt its love for sin or put it any moral demands upon it.

Please don't toy with God, and don't trifle with your soul.  If you are still unconverted, you are currently under the pending consequences of your trespasses.  God says this to you:  "My Son bore your sins and died on the Cross to pay for them.  I punished Him, so you don't have to be punished.  Be wise - humble yourself and trust to His Blood and Righteousness, and then I will count His perfect life for yours, and I will count His payment for your payment.  But if you refuse and reject Him, I will do to you everything that I did to my Son on the Cross forever."

Do you argue for those things and philosophies that are in opposition to the Bible and the Gospel?  What's important to you?  What are you wrapped up in?  What controls your thoughts and impulses, and directs your steps from day to day?  What do you desire to do in secret?  Will you surrender to Jesus and let have rule over your heart and life?  When you are confronted with Christ Jesus Himself, what is your reaction?  What do you base your choices on?  Does the thought of giving up your favorite sins agitate you?  How interested are you in the Precious Blood of God manifest in the flesh?

This is your only offer of escape from your guilt.  Religion will never tell you this.  This is God's eternal Ultimatum to you.  Nothing else is on the table.  You must take the Lord Jesus Christ's Precious Blood as your Payment (Ransom) for your trespasses, or you'll have to pay for them yourself for all Eternity in the Lake of Fire.  The plain understandable Gospel is just too easy, too ABC, for self-righteous folks.  That's it; take it or leave it.  God won't choose you over His own Son.  But the carnal mind stubbornly says, "Well, I just think; well, the way I see it."

God's Wonderful Book Divine

What light is that shining so brightly for me?
That gives me such courage, the right way to be.
What hope for my trusting soul ever shall be?
God’s Wonderful Book Divine.

What hope for the traveler when strength’s almost gone?
That makes him determined to keep trodding on.
What sweet consolation from Heaven’s bright throne?
God’s Wonderful Book Divine.

What Chart can you trust as a guide for the soul?
When tempests would strand you on some dreadful shore.
What compass will point you to Heaven’s bright home?
God’s Wonderful Book Divine.

In case you were wondering of what Book I sing,
It's the same one the old-time revivals did bring.
It's the only one version authorized by the king,
God’s Wonderful Book Divine.

Chorus:
And I love the old Bible, the Precious old Bible.
A Light on my pathway to shine.
And it keeps me so happy,
Always so happy.
God’s wonderful Book Divine.
